Shadow of the Things to Come — Part 2
Continuing from the previous post: Part 1.
4) The Mount Sinai Events
In Exodus 19, Moses was instructed by the LORD to instruct the people of Israel to ‘clean their garments’ because He was going to descend unto the earth on Mount Sinai in His Most High appearance.
The people of Israel obeyed this part, but when Moses have been gone and was not heard from a couple of days, the Israelites did the most despicable thing by sinning against the LORD with idolatry.
In the same way, God has called many of His watchmen and watchwomen and those who are called to minister in the prophetic calling of the Joel 2:28 army to call His people to ‘clean their garments’ because He literally is going to descend unto earth as the King of kings and Lord of lords.
In between the time His messengers give the call and the time of His Return, many are going to do despicable things by sinning against the LORD with the idolatry of themselves, their lusts and their conveniences.
The LORD gave me understanding through The Holy Spirit a couple years ago that the reason that these people sinned right in front of God because God’s Holiness is too great for them to contain.
And this is true for even Christians. The closer or greater your anointing from God, the greater the fire of God’s Holiness is going to push out the sins within our hearts and flesh. God chose us from the very beginning, before Adam and Eve. But we inherited sin nature from Adam and Eve (Romans 5:12).
So when God comes close to us, our sins are exposed. God’s Presence is not what causes them to sin, but God’s Presence causes their sins to come to the surface because their sin nature was dominant within their hearts.
As we could observe in Exodus and even later after the Mount Sinai events, the people of Israel were not as abandoned, surrendered and meek before God as Moses was.
They complained about leaving behind cucumbers and leeks, instead of humbly praying to God about their needs. They did not have unshakeable trust and faith in God like Moses did. They kept saying things like, “Why did you bring us to the wilderness to die?’
“Would it not have been better for us to stay in Egypt” (Exodus 14:11, Exodus 16:3, Numbers 20:4, 21:5, 14:2), and the more they cried out these things in their distrust of the LORD, the more they end up disobeying God and died in the desert, up to the point that when they finally got to Canaan only Joshua, Son of Nun and Caleb, son of Jephunneh were allowed from their generation, according to Numbers 14:30, because the others were rebellious and unabandoned.
In the same way, many will fall away as we see today. But in a population of the world’s 7 billion, the number of the elect that are ready will be in the multitudes, but not the majority.
Even if it is 0.1% this number is 7 million, which is still a great multitude. Even if the number is 10% and 700 million the number is comprised of a great multitude but a small percentage.
Therefore, a great number of today’s Christians will be redeemed. But many will fall away and may reject God right at the crucial points of The End Times because they are unabandoned and love their ‘Egypt’ or ‘Sodom’ and ‘Gomorrah’ way too much.
And their sins will surface over their lives, just like what happened at the first Mount Sinai event and when the LORD was approaching Sodom and Gomorrah.
5) The Jericho Event
There are a couple videos about how the Jericho Event is a picture of the foreshadowing of the End Times but those are not related or what I derived to write the following:
In Joshua 3, Joshua was getting ready to go into Canaan (starting with Jericho over the Jordan — they had already taken some land before the Jordan— – links of the maps below). In a similar manner that the Red Sea was parted, the Jordan was also parted, but because it is a river, the flowing source was stopped and piled up in a heap very far away from where Joshua and his army stood, bearing the Ark of the Covenant.
As the flow was cut off, the other side of the river was completely cut of according to Joshua 3:14. Early on the passage, just like the Mount Sinai event, Joshua called the people to consecrate themselves.
And the Joshua Army Company was led by the Commander of the Lord’s Army, who was the Lord Himself. And it is only after these things have happened and then the six days of trumpets and the last day with a shout.
In this same way, Jesus is going to gather His Army before the seven trumpets of Revelation. The Army do not have to do anything except proclaim the victory of Jesus (the Army behind the King of kings and Lord of lords does not have to do anything except following Him.
Only Jesus has a Sword comes out of His mouth). And the ‘walls’ of the earth will fall down (mountains and hills ) and everything on the earth and outside the earth will be subject to His power and authority.
6) David Anointed As King Event
David’s means ‘beloved’ in Hebrew. God had Samuel anoint him in 1 Samuel 16 to be king and promised him that through him, an offspring of his will be on the throne forever and ever.
And through his bloodlines in both Mary through Rhesa son of Zerubabbel descendant of David (Luke 3:23-38) and Joseph through Abiud son of Zerubabbel descendant of David (Matthew 1:1-17), Jesus is the promised offspring to David to be on the throne forever and ever.
Jesus was Anointed and Ordained from the beginning, that was the ultimate first point of the plan. But so are the children of God. We are anointed to reign in the Kingdom of Jesus and are ordained into this holy priesthood forever.
