Settling Into The New
As you are settling into the new, there will be a temptation to bring the old with you.
The old mentalities, old systems, old structures won’t have a space to thrive in the new paradigm that has been laid out for you.
Many of you have been led by The Holy Spirit through a season of deep inner healing and deliverance for such a time as this.
In the days to come, you will come into the knowledge of why you had to be derailed to heal. Don’t grieve the divine detour, rejoice in know that the Father knows how to care for your heart.
Proverbs 4 admonishes us to keep our hearts with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.
As The LORD purifies your heart, your appetite (physical and spiritual) will shift into what is needed to sustain you to architect a new age.
The mindsets that satisfied you in the past will no longer be sufficient. Your priorities have shifted and your desires have evolved — settle into the newness of what God is doing in your life.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.” Psalm 51:10-12 ESV.
Settling Into A New Mindset
The enemy has been strategic in planting seeds of discouragement and despair in hopes that you make yourself fit into the boxes of low self-esteem and imposter syndrome.
As you settle into the new, those old limiting mindsets will be replaced with a renewed sense of possibility. You will see yourself as the beloved of God, not merely the black sheep.
The LORD reminded me of Gideon’s encounter with the angel of The LORD in Judges 6, when the angel appeared to Gideon he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior”.
In Hebrew, the phrase is “Gibor-Hechayil” which translates to “valiant warrior!” Gideon didn’t believe that he was worthy to be called a valiant warrior, but The LORD encouraged him to proceed in battle out of the strength of knowing that he was sent.
The LORD gave Gideon a new mindset that ultimately flowed out of his obedience, but initially out of his identity as a valiant warrior.
Just as The Angel of The LORD assisted Gideon in his process of settling in the new, may the ministering spirits of God (Hebrews 1:14) be released on your behalf to release divine instructions and confirmation.
The ability to see yourself rightly is being unlocked.
The realms of your potential are being unlocked.
Your expectations are being unlocked.
Settle into the new and build.
“The angel of The LORD came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of The LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”
“Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if The LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not The LORD bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now The LORD has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”
The LORD turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”” Judges 6: 11-14 NIV.
