Many people are just speaking from the flesh or their human intellect.

They often preach from a limited theological standpoint a sermon that is not the message that is needed for the congregation they are addressing.

So often the true impact of what God wants to do, is limited or hindered, because people won’t be led by the Spirit of God when they stand before the people.

Now don’t get me wrong, I truly believe in the study of the scriptures and the understanding of the word. I went to school myself, so education is not the problem.

It’s when we are so closed minded that we can’t, won’t, or refuse to hear the voice of God as He uses us to minister to His people that we get in trouble.

A sermon outline should never override the will of God or the moving of His Spirit.

There may be one person in a desperate situation whom God needs to address and He will change your message to fit the problem. You have to have the ability to flow with His Spirit.

I know God, ninety percent of the time, never lets me know what I’m going to minister to the people until either I’m sitting waiting to be called up, or when I stand before the people, or I just open my mouth and just flow with what He tells me.

I always said from the beginning that God, if you are going to use me to preach or teach to your people then I don’t want to be mechanical traditional or religious. I want you to fill my mouth in the very same hour you want me to speak.

I told Him if I’m going to be stale cold and without the words to help the people with what they need for the now, then I didn’t want the calling. I told Him I don’t want to preach or teach from the flesh or my mind, but directly from His Spirit.

I told Him if He is going to use me to prophesy, I wanted Him to speak through me what only He would know.

When He told me He was going to use me to preach and prophesy I cried for months because I knew the warfare and the mandate was going to be intense.

He has never allowed me to get involved in cliques, fellowships or anything that would be controlling. He gave me my spiritual leader and very selected people to mentor me, and not many. He allows to prophesy into my life.

I told God I didn’t want to be confused or taken advantage of, so God shielded me from evil men and women.

I thank God for my leader, because traveling with him and working in ministry allowed me to see hear and learn so much. I saw the good the bad and the ugly sides of ministry and learned and yet learning the in and out of ministry in all aspects!

I love to see the people be made free.
