Set Your Eyes on the Prize!

A Pledge
I Pledge Myself a Bondservant of The LORD Jesus Christ.
My head will not be bowed to any other, either willfully, forcefully or by divination.
I pledge myself a Bondservant of The LORD Jesus Christ.
I refuse to yield my crown, my sword and the righteous treasures of The LORD Jesus Christ in my spirit to any other.
I pledge the righteous treasures of my spirit, soul and body completely to the service of The LORD Jesus Christ alone.
Though the fire be rekindled seven fold, and the threats become louder and hotter.
One thing I will declare, in the heavens, in the earth, in the depths of the rekindled fires, is JESUS CHRIST IS MY GOD, LORD and MASTER.
To JESUS CHRIST alone I belong.
To JESUS CHRIST alone I submit.
And Only JESUS CHRIST is worthy to receive all of me.
Set Your Eyes on the Prize
It’s so easy to focus on what’s wrong and miss the goal…
It is so easy to whine about the state of The Church and how badly the flock is treated and still not “feed His sheep”.
So easy to focus on the storm and loose sight of the destination.
So easy to focus on the outward appearance of excellence and loose discerning the times to lay hold on the visitations of The LORD.
So easy to focus on the criticisms, wickedness, perceptions of men that surround you, yet loose sight of who you’re called to be and what you’ve been called to stand for and against.
Those who break past barriers and accomplish great things must cross this mark.
They must learn how and what to be numb to, and what must consistently receive full attention.
The storms may rage louder, the criticisms and wickedness may grow intense, the chaos and disorder may come too close to poke you in the face.
Until you learn to move past the noise, and follow The LORD in stillness, they will end up being distractions that succeeded in delaying or derailing you.
The conditions for victory may become tougher, the fight may become unfair, and rigged against you.
One thing you must never loose is Focus on the Goal set before you.
“No matter how loud the noise gets, fan the flames of the righteous visions of The LORD in your heart, that you may see your true and righteous destination. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier,” 2 Timothy 2:3-4.
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” Hebrews 12:1-4.
