You serve Jesus because He is LORD.

But have you considered the other reason for serving Him?

He is the Son of The Father and you are an adopted child of The Father so He is a step-brother to you.

In other words He is a family member. So as a family member you help Him by doing what He asks you to do.

So service to Jesus should not be out of legalism and fear of punishment, but of LOVE as you are helping a family member!
