Serving God and Tired? Jesus Says This…
If you are a tired Christian you need to listen to this.
We have to look at what happened in Jesus life when He was tired.
John 4:6 says, “Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.”
Here we see Jesus has been traveling and He is tired. He sits down at the well in weariness and a few moments later Jesus operates in the word of knowledge gift and tells the woman, whom He does not know, that she had multiple husbands.
The woman was surprised and called him a prophet. Then Jesus revealed to her that He is the Messiah and she told her city all about Him.
We see three things from this story:
1. Jesus did a miracle after He was tired
Jesus is always ready and able to do miracles when you are exhausted. God does not have to wait for you to be refreshed to move mightily in your life.
2. Jesus sat down
Jesus did not lay down at the well and give up. He sat down. And because of that, He was able to connect to the woman at the well and do a miracle.
Many people in the city believed in Jesus after that and the woman certainly did.
Imagine what would happen if Jesus laid down and gave up.
In your tiredness are you sitting or lying down?
3. Your tiredness is leading you to the next move of God
You may be tired of praying, reading the Bible, serving others, fasting, and the like. But this is the time to keep going for you are being led into the next miracle of God.
Jesus knows you need rest. Jesus knows you need a miracle. And He will do it.
Jesus says: “I know you are tired.
I know what you have been through.
Do not give up for it is not the time for that. Be with Me.
Allow Me to speak to you and comfort you.
Spend time with Me and I will rejuvenate your soul. You will feel refreshed.
Put away the books and the things that distract you from Me and come to Me for I will give you rest.
The next move of mine will be a good one.
You are at the end of yourself and you are ready for My change. Hang in there for good things will happen My People.”

Travis, this Word speaks to me. Even yesterday I was so exhausted, and yet I managed to share an experience with someone who needed to understand her experience. To God be the Glory forever and ever Amen.
Blessings.
Praise God, in Jesus Christ, our loving and caring Savior, The Blessed Hope! God bless you, brother Travis, extending peace and greetings to you! I stand in agreement with this word and message, as I have grown tired somewhat physically, dealing in heavy spiritual warfare, sitting up and laying down at times, predominantly sitting up – refusing to entertain the enemy by falling back, because he certainly doesn’t.
This is a powerful and impacting word, as I weigh in, considering everything. I have to be honest with others and myself, to receive the proper assistance from the Lord Jesus. Jesus Christ has already examined my heart and knows, what rests inside my heart and the lip service, whether it aligns in the correct place.
Jesus Christ is right, that now is not the time to fall back or to get comfortable, digging in even the more with sincere prayer, fasting, reading God’s Word and so forth – spending quality time with him on a consistent basis.
God bless you, and thank you for sharing in obedience, what thus saith the Lord! Shalom, strong soldier!
