Servanthood!
A Teaching and Prophecy
There is so much in the world that is about self, and actually I believe that there is much even in the Church that is about self.
The world tells us that those who rise to the top are successful. These are those who drive fancy and expensive cars and pursue only what exalts themselves.
But even in the church we see this mindset. For those who are eloquent in their speech and dress nicely, are given more attention. Very few take into consideration the words found in 1 Corinthians:
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty,” 1 Corinthians 1:27.
Jesus took on the form of a servant and washed the disciple’s feet. We are told that if we are to be great in His Kingdom then we must be the servant of all.
You see, it’s not a matter of being the greatest leader, or the most gifted that is important in the heart of God.
The mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus and asked that her sons might be given a special placement beside the Son of God. But she soon found out that this was not something that could be granted.
“Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father,” Matthew 20:20-23.
The Kingdom of God is actually opposite of that of the world. For in the world, up is down in the Kingdom, and what is down in the world is up in the Kingdom. And yet God exalts those who are humble, but He lowers those who exalt themselves.
Don’t strive to be the most gifted in your prophecies, nor to think that you are important in the eyes of the world.
It is only what the Father thinks of you that is important. If you serve the body and wash their feet doing the job that He has called you to, then that is enough.
Prophecy
March 3, 2014.
“But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant,” Matthew 23:11.
“I reserve the right to exalt whoever I want to exalt.
Some have exalted themselves and they will be humbled. I don’t look to those who do great feats of spiritual exploits.
I honor the man or woman who comes to Me in humility of heart. I don’t care what great things you have done.
I care about how you have treated the poor. I care about how you have treated the outcast.
Your mission field is not within the church,” says the LORD.
“I have asked you to be salt to a lost and dying world. But no, you would rather go to your Wednesday night services.
You are as a fortress that is impenetrable Your walls are filled with the trappings of years of all the good deeds you have done.
Many of you are so smug in your religiosity! Many of you can dispute about many things in my word, but you have followed the letter of the law.
Some of you would say that you would give your body to be burned. Others may say that they would give up all their possessions.
But you do and you say these things so that you would get a medal from me.
I have asked you to be weak so that you may become strong. I have asked you to be as nothing in the world’s eyes so that you would be a pearl in my own.
The life of a true believer is opposite of what you may see around you. For if you think that you are advancing according to the world’s standards then surely you have followed the wrong path. And I would turn your world upside down just to get your attention.
Many of you will be surprised on that day, for those that you thought were great in my eyes would be as those who were not even worth mentioning.
Truly it is said that he who would be great in My Kingdom must be the servant of all. And does that mean that you would govern everyone as a king would his subjects?
Leadership is not according to the world’s standards either. Have you truly died to yourself? Have you given up your man-made agendas?
I tell you that many who are in leadership today are acting as Saul. Very few Davids there are.
And that is why most of the entire church system is falling apart. There was a reformation many centuries ago and for some time, the light from that time breathed new life and purpose into many.
But now, after all the schisms and fracturing that has gone on, it is time for yet another reformation.
But if this would happen then death to self would need to happen every day. For it would not involve the awakenings of new giftings; it would not emphasize new revelations of my Spirit, but it would involve your emptying of yourself.
For you see, up is down and down is up.”
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain,” John 12:24.

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Thank you for sharing.God is looking for fruit John 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Amazing.
