Separate From the Leban Spirit for Your Prosperity!
Where is the inheritance and all the blessings you are entitled to as a child of God?
You toil so much, you work so hard and long; but you have little or nothing to show for it. Are you likely dealing with the Leban spirit?
It was the case with Jacob.
At the Godly instruction of his father Isaac, the young man emigrated to his uncle’s country to take a wife for himself.
God is so good. God is so faithful. He started prospering Jacob from the very beginning. Upon his arrival, the first person from Leban’s household that Jacob met (at a well) was his future wife, Rachel. She was a young lady, “beautiful of form and appearance.” (Genesis 29:17).
Rachel was the younger of two daughters. The elder was Leah.
As agreed, Jacob served Leban seven years for Rachel, but the malicious Leban deceived Jacob on his wedding night when he disguised Leah and gave her to him as wife instead of Rachel his true love.
Jacob protested vehemently, and Leban subsequently gave Rachel to him and requested another seven years of service for her also.
Leban’s chain of cheating and treachery was increasingly bounding Jacob over the years.
Eventually, Jacob was fed up; he needed and wanted to break free. Urgently.
“And it came to pass, when Rachel had borne Joseph, that Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own place and to my country. Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, and let me go; for you know my service which I have done for you.” And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favour in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that The LORD has blessed me for your sake.” Then he said, “Name me your wages, and I will give it. ” So Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me. For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; The LORD has blessed you since my coming. And now, when shall I also provide for my own house?” Genesis 30:25-30.
Cut off from the Leban spirit!
You have been cheated and wronged for so long; far too long! By The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, BREAK free from the Leban spirit, command him to depart from you and return to his own place!
Until Jacob put his foot down, Leban happily continued profiting off him and endlessly cheating him.
As aforementioned, Jacob had been serving Leban faithfully for so many years with hardly anything to show for it.
The LORD blessed Leban because of Jacob, yet he cheated Jacob so much so that Jacob could not even provide for his house! Hence he asked Leban with much pain of heart: “when shall I also provide for my own house?” (Genesis 30:30).
It is the case with many children of God: you work so much, you do so much, you give so much of yourself, yet cannot provide for your own house.
You are probably being poorly paid and in dire financial need. Or you are probably even being well paid, but bills, bills and more bills take it all from you. As they say in non-Divine economics, you are income-rich but cash-poor; asset-rich but cash-poor.
As long as you keep tolerating the Leban spirit, he will keep cheating you of your inheritance and prosperity in Christ.
That’s what Leban did to Jacob for years until Jacob allowed him no more. Having had enough of the cheating and lying from this serial opportunist, Jacob demanded to leave. He confronted Leban.
“Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come,” 1 Corinthians 10:11.
“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of The Scriptures might have hope,” Romans 15:4.
Look at it again: Lebanon plundered Jacob for so long. He swindled Jacob by withholding Rachel his God-ordained wife from him and replaced her with the elder sister, Leah, on their wedding night! Jacob only discovered the heart-breaking treachery the morning after the night before. Can you imagine!
Leban cheated and lied to Jacob about his wages many times during the course of the twenty years that Jacob faithfully served him (although he was being exceedingly blessed by God because of Jacob).
It is very noteworthy that as soon as Jacob confronted Leban and put a stop to his wickedness, The LORD showed up and showed Jacob what to do to receive restoration and prosperity. The LORD had been taking note all along. He said to Jacob: “I have seen all that Leban is doing to you.” He followed The LORD’s instructions.
From thence, Jacob “the man became exceedingly prosperous…” (Genesis 30:43).
The LORD has been seeing all that the Leban spirit is doing to you that’s why The Holy Spirit has moved me to preach this Word to you to attack him and break free from him.
How much longer will you tolerate the Leban spirit robbing you? The LORD Jesus wants you to act and stop him now!
By The Wisdom and direction of God Almighty, Jacob fought for his inheritance, and God avenged him and prospered him. Eventually, at the instruction and command of God he escaped Leban’s twenty years of family and employment abuse, conniving, cheating and lying.
But Leban hotly pursued him, his family and inheritance! Leban purposed to hurt Jacob, but The God of Jacob severely warned him to cease and desist from touching Jacob.
You may have been likewise treated in career, business, ministry, or even in marriage! It’s the Leban spirit behind it all. Don’t focus on the person(s).
We fight against principalities and powers, not flesh and blood. Confront the demon, not the human. When you strike down the demon, the human will treat you well.
The Leban spirit is a serially conniving, deceiving and cheating spirit; it is a very wicked and powerful spirit with invisible chains of deceiving, persecuting and hotly pursuing one’s life, family, inheritance and progress in life.
Renounce and command it to depart from your life and return to his place!
Then pray for restoration and the life of super-abundance according to Proverbs 6:30-31 and John 10:10. Yes, pray to become “exceedingly prosperous” like Jacob, even better — according to The Better Covenant established on better promises, (Hebrews 8:6).
The Leban spirit is in every way the very person of Satan: a liar, a thief and a murderer who only comes to steal, and to kill and to destroy! (John 8:44; 10:10; Genesis 32:23, 24, 29, 31, 36, 41-43).
Jacob broke free from Leban’s chains by covenant. YOU also must break free from the Leban spirit by The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, The New Covenant in The Blood of Jesus.
They marked the covenant break with a heap of stones of which Leban said, “This heap is a witness, and this pillar is a witness, that I will not pass beyond this heap to you, and you will not pass beyond this heap and this pillar to me, for harm.” (Genesis 31:52).
In v.47, they called it Jegar Sahadutha and Galeed which mean “Heap of Witness” in Aramaic and Hebrew respectively.
Curiously however, in establishing that covenant, first, “Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar.” By The Spirit of Christ in him (1 Peter 1:10-11), Jacob was establishing The Chief Cornerstone, Jesus Christ as the Covenant break from Leban.
Soon afterward, The LORD Jesus (pre-incarnated as The Angel of The LORD), met and blessed Jacob into Divine nationhood forever.
Till this day, Israel, remains the ONLY ancient nation in the world under The One True God. Yes, the nation of the people “who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, The Eternally Blessed God. Amen.” (Romans 9:4-5).
At the end of the first day of his emigration journey in Genesis 28:11-18, Jacob encountered God most memorably when he slept, resting his head on a stone. He had a most memorable encounter with God.
Upon waking, he took the stone that he had put at his head and anointed it. This was a prophetic act of worship to Jesus Christ “The Living Stone”, “The Chief Cornerstone”; Jesus The Anointed One, (1 Peter 2:4-7; Ephesians 2:20-22; Acts 10:38).
Like Jacob, rest your head (your mind and all thinking) on The Chief Cornerstone, “The Head — Christ” who is The “Greater-than-Solomon here.” (Matthew 12:42).
Let Jesus Christ direct you to become exceedingly prosperous like Jacob, even better — according to The Better Covenant established on better promises.
In dealing with the Leban spirit, start by praying:
“Our Father in Heaven, I repent for my sins, the sins of my parents, and the sins of my ancestors (my fathers’ line and my mothers’ line) all the way to Adam and Eve, which got me yoked to the Leban spirit and his demonic slavery of my life, family and inheritance.
I ask You to forgive me. And let The Blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanse me from all sin, from all unrighteousness.
By The Blood of Jesus Christ, Father, redeem, release, set me free and purify me from all yokes, strongholds, soul ties, sins, shame, schemes, pursuits, persecutions, losses, hindrances, harassments, fellowships, disguises, devices, detours, desires, demons, delays, defilements, curses, covenants, consequences, communions, claims, captivities, bondages, agreements and accords of the Leban spirit.
Father, replace them all with Your Righteousness and my every spiritual blessing in The Heavenly Realm in Christ.

In The Name of Jesus Christ, I renounce you the Leban spirit by The Blood of Jesus! You conniving, deceiving, cheating spirit, with The Cross of Christ, by The Blood of Jesus, I break your chains of deceit, robbery, persecution and pursuit of my life, family, inheritance and progress in life.
In Jesus’ Name, I renounce and command you to depart from my life and return to your own place! As written, you the angels who did not keep your proper domain, but left your own abode, God has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of The Great Day, (Jude 1:6).
As according to The Law of God in Proverbs 6:30-31, in The Name of Jesus Christ, I command you the thief to restore to me sevenfold of all that you stole from me; and you must give up all the substance of your house!
LORD Jesus, let me now have life and have it more abundantly as You graciously have come to let us have. LORD, there is no favouritism with God; there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile. As you did for Jacob, do so for me also.
Let me become exceedingly prosperous like Jacob, even better — according to The Better Covenant established on better promises.
As Jacob broke free from Leban’s chains marked by a Godly covenant forever, I break free from you the Leban spirit by The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, The New Covenant in The Blood of Jesus now and forever!
I establish The Cross of our LORD Jesus Christ The Living Stone, The Chief Cornerstone between you and me FOREVER!
In The Name of Jesus, I plead The Blood of Jesus to cover and protect me and my family as well as everyone and everything that concerns us.
In Jesus’ Name, I decree and declare that nothing shall by any means hurt us, as according to Luke 10:19.
By The Blood of Jesus, by The Cross of Christ, by His Hands with the print out of the nails, I BLOCK and bludgeon and destroy satanic retaliations and all other evil plans against us and all things that concern us.
Thank You LORD Jesus for Your POWER, authority, protection and provision.
