Christian Idolatry

Idolatry comes in many forms and mainly it is an act of not knowingly worshiping that which isn’t God.

Yes, it is closely related to being deceived. We don’t go around willfully sinning, but there might be areas where you just aren’t catching on what God is trying to show you. You might think some area of your life is #1 priority and nothing can take it away. Yes, that is an idol!

If you are lifting up an area so high that even God can’t get your attention, that is an idol!

Mostly those in the church can be lifting up something they think is all about serving God and they strive to maintain this area. It can be ministry, where they might not have the funds, so they strive to get the money to come in through manipulation, yes that is witchcraft. That is an idol.

It might even be the way you worship the Lord! Yes, that could be an idol if it is lifted up so high, God can’t get your attention.

You might fight to save your ministry, displaying all kinds of ungodly fruit. Yes, idolatry!

The Lord showed me something that I had placed in high priority in my life where it was blocking true obedience to God’s perfect will. Yes, we have been blessed but it is dangerous to be out of God’s perfect will.

Be open and teachable for this is the time God is speaking! Anyone must know that whatever you do that you have to hide is an idol! So there are willful areas of idol worship and areas that you don’t realize you are doing it.

I know the enemy doesn’t want this posted! But what do I have to lose?

Seeking Wrong Signs and Wonders

I want to say that God is cleaning up His bride and He is showing areas of our lives that need to be changed to what we thought was His will to His perfect will.

It is true that we will be blessed wherever we are. If we just don’t discern that, we are not walking right. But how much more, when we see truth and adjust our lives to it?

Just this week alone, the Lord showed me some major areas of my life that were wrong; that were a danger; that needed to change direction! And it all happened after listening to a man who is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

He taught on the false signs and wonders people seek after, and that this area is full of undiscerning naive Christians and many false prophets. After listening to the purity of his word coming forth, I began to feel a deep warming take place in my inner ears, that went down my neck, and then I started receiving revelation of areas in which I needed to obey!

I admit I had taken my attention off of the true signs that follow believers, and on to what these signs and wonders and glory were assumed to be, like seeing orbs, gold dust, feathers, etc. Yes, this is nothing but a distraction. And if we are really willing, He will show you the major idols in your life and you will be shocked when you find out. Those things we blindly, not willfully, submitted to, rather than the pure obedience to His word and will.

Be completely yielded and you will be amazed at what God will begin to do. I challenge you to ask the Lord to show you and be open to obey.

Roaming spirits of seduction and reception

I want to warn you that there is a strong seducing spirit and the spirit of deception roaming like a roaring lion seeking who it can devour.

Pray for strong discernment and bind those spirits, because if you rub shoulders with those who have no discernment, you will start acting the same way.

I went to a church where the principal got up and talked about Harry Potter being good reading material. My husband looked at me and said we need to get out of this church and fast.

He said we don’t want that spirit coming upon us. If you see things and act lightly about it, you are not being watchful but being careless and an open door to the devil. The enemy doesn’t come with a red suit ugly with horns but as an angel of light.

I have been called to sound the alarm when I see danger. If I don’t, God says their blood will be on my hands. I will not be silent when God says to speak! And I will face the consequences!

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children,” Hosea 4:6 (KJV).

Move into the deeper things of the Spirit!

Now is the time to move into the deeper things of the Spirit!

I always felt it was so important to go where I had the freedom to dance before the Lord, but after all that I’ve gone through this week, I am willing to give it all up to have more of God, His truth and holiness.

I never thought I would say or even think this because dancing with the Lord has always been a great blessing to me.
