Over the years I have had many who have sought me out for direction in their life as well as what the LORD might be saying to them.

While this is part of my calling and ministry, I find that some continue in this endeavor attempting to find out as much information as they can, thinking that I will provide details upon details of the many things that they are wondering about.

God has given to each of us the means to approach His Throne in confidence knowing that He will indeed, answer our prayers.

God has said in His word that we all can hear His voice.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me, and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand,” John 10:27-28.

And yet in spite of this, many cannot hear God’s voice in their lives.

They may have an inkling of what He is saying to them, but they still are groping in the dark wondering what direction that they might take ahead.

We all have a place deep inside of us where that Holy Spirit would speak to us.

It is carved out within the bowels of our hearts, and if we would but spend the time to listen to that still small voice, we would then know what is true and what is not.

God has set in the church certain ministries for the body.

Each of them is given so that we would then come unto maturity and not be blown around by the winds and doctrines of men.

The five-fold ministries are ones of service in preparing others for the work of ministry.

We are to lay our lives down for the brethren as we all point back to the LORD Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.

When one receives the word of a true prophet they are receiving God’s word to them.

If they reject the prophet then they are rejecting God.

The reward of the word when it is spoken in truth will cause one to prosper and not to fail, for God wants His people to have victory in their lives.

But it is up to us what we do with the words of God.

But don’t seek the messenger – seek the One who the messenger is seeking and then you will see the road ahead more clearly.

Then you won’t be groping the dark.
