Early this morning as I was awaking from a deep sleep, I heard the Holy Spirit say, the Bible says, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”

As I meditated upon this word, I realized that many people turn away from TRUTH.

What is Truth?

For the believer, truth is Jesus Christ. For He said in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life.”

Our lives as believers must be based on the Word of God. Not in theory, not on the issues of the day, or in what we hear from the news media.

Jesus Christ is the Solid Rock. He proclaims the GOOD NEWS of eternal life available for all who come to repentance.

Truth can be clouded by anxiety, worry, fear, stress, disease. Allow the truth of God’s Word to push away these dark clouds that surround you, and permeate your soul bringing forth true peace and confidence.

We must lead truth based lives.

In Matthew 7:7 we are admonished to ASK, SEEK, KNOCK. When we have a heart for TRUTH and are truly seeking God, He will reveal and uncover many things that lie hidden in darkness, and bring them into the light.

“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of TRUTH, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:13.
