Seeing and Seeking
The Kingdom of God is within us. It is deposited inside of us, waiting for us to act.
We can see the Kingdom of God if we let our faith grow and purify us in that growth.
The more we water the seed and let it grow, then the more we will be able to “see and know” the love God has for this world in the light of The Kingdom.
It’s also this same seed that allows us to let our egos and defiled selves, our notion of “who and what we are” apart from the Kingdom of God, die.
The Kingdom of God is all around us. Wherever we go, the Kingdom of God is there.
It doesn’t put on a show and rarely does it reveal itself in “flashy flesh”, and it certainly doesn’t look down the nose at others who might challenge us or move differently in gifts. Nor is it testy!
It comes as it is, in the humble truth of absolute reality. It’s all around us, and we are “in it” even as it is already seeded into us as believers.
Sadly, most of us do not see it as it is in its pure glory, due to the veil which we have put on between the Kingdom and us. “To the pure all things are pure, but to the corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are corrupted.” (Titus 1:15 RSV).
Most of us see the world around us, not under the light of the Kingdom of God, but in the darkness of sin.
We are sooooo busy “seeking the Kingdom” that we trample over those who don’t seek like WE seek, and so we grossly fail to “SEE THE KINGDOM” in others.
All things are mired in a fog of debate and then defiled by our own intentions and condition, everything of the Kingdom in others appears corrupted, because we are corrupted!
So, even though all things are in and of the Kingdom of God, we don’t recognize the Kingdom of God in them. Why?
Because the need to be “sharing a bit of the glory” blinds us with a smugness that is self assigned to judge those who are less “in on the real goods” of “Kingdom seeking.”
Remember dear person…
Lucifer fell from the Kingdom graces because he was seeking it with the intention of getting a position of power and “most high-ism”.
Oh! We must, must, MUST — see the Kingdom and all of its facets that reflect truth and light, in others, and seek the kingdom with no desire to own a piece of the notoriety or presumption that “WE” know more about it.
“Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?
The one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives are pure, who does not lie, or make promises with no intention of keeping them.,” Psalm 24:3-4.
