See Them Through the Eyes of God
In a dream I dreamt of a leader who committed multiple adulteries in our Church many years ago, and since I left there years ago I had not seen him or heard what he was doing.
But I saw him in my dream and he seemed like he was serving The LORD in a sincere way.
In this dream he was visiting my house. No one that was in my house knew his past in the dream. But then I felt to tell someone about his past who hadn’t known him before.
As soon as I did this, it was as if The LORD convicted me and said that The Body of Christ does not forgive their own people even though they want their sins forgiven.
He said that He’d forgiven this person, but the Church had not!
I have felt all day long since I woke up from that dream, that The LORD was saying that we are living in the past.
I felt that He said, when you hold on to unforgiveness, you can’t move forward into your future that He has planned, because that is how you think about those who committed sins, instead of thinking of them as a new creature.
So you literally get caught up in a prison — of their past and your past, in your mind.
He said people literally get stuck in that time-warp, because as a man thinks so is he…
This is why Jesus said “He that walks in love. walks in light…..”
When we constantly think of other people’s sins they’ve committed against us or the Body, then we don’t understand the complete way in which Jesus saved us and forgave us!
His blood washes it all away as we walk in forgiveness….
“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” 1 John 1:7-10 NKJV.
One other thing that I sensed in this dream was that at first when I was talking to this person, I wasn’t remembering their past and the anointing seemed to be flowing between them, but as soon as I felt to warn about him, then the fellowship seemed to stop flowing.
How I know if I have forgiven, is that if the first thing that I think about when I think of them or see them, is what they did in the past, then I am knowing them after the flesh, and Paul said that he knew no man by the flesh…. (2 Corinthians 5:16).
But if I see them as The LORD sees them then, I am seeing them through the eyes of God!
I pray LORD, give us Your Eyes to see how you see and to be able to move forward and not live in the past…
Amen!

May the body of Christ hear and attend to these words from the heart of God.
What a convicting word my sister. I had a similar conversation with the Lord this morning about things that I had forgiven long ago and yet when I encounter the same people sometimes, I am reliving the past. THank you for sharing. It was such a confirmation of what the Lord said to me..HE said, why are you reminding me of something I forgot when you repented and forgave. Stop living there. You have truly walked in Calvary love and forgiveness when you see them, you only see me. Many blessings!
