These are difficult times for many people because we are in a major spiritual transition.

God is releasing new strategies to align us with the coming revival.

God spoke to me that it is possible to break the power of fear, violence and negativity that rules the world today.

The power of God’s love and acceptance is greater! The key is to allow the LORD’s love and light to rule in our own lives.

There is no formula

David Yonggi Cho, a South Korean Christian minister and founder of the largest congregation in the world — Yoido Full Gospel Church — established a major prayer mountain that shifted the spiritual atmosphere over South Korea.

When asked about his secret to success he said, “I pray, and I obey.”

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV.

This sounds simple, but we often overlook the simple things!

There is no proper formula or model to follow to pray effectively. What matters is that you connect with the LORD as you would in a relationship with someone on Earth.

It is good to talk with God like a son or daughter to a father.

Steps to pray more effectively

1. Get real and open with God. Talk from your heart. Be like a person having a conversation with a father or friend.
2. Create a list of Bible verses that have meaning for you or that back up your requests to God.
3. Write down prophetic words and promises that God has given you, especially the ones that have not yet come to pass.
4. Keep a record of your needs and prayers and the ways God is answering.

Pray continually

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV.

You can be in constant prayer and interaction with the LORD throughout your day.

Use worship songs and Bible verses as prayers to the LORD. Go beyond asking for your needs and pray for those around you and people in your life.

In my recent online workshop, Disarming Difficult Times: Passionate, Positive and Powerful Prayer, I released a prayer strategy the LORD gave me to effectively stop the violence, shootings and even strange weather patterns.
