“And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” Ephesians 2:6 (AMP).

Ed and Janice – My Little Charismaniacs

When we had moved into our house to have church for a while after we closed the building after many years, there was an elderly couple named Ed and Janice Slaybaugh, who were a part of the Charismatic movement. They were a large part of the “Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship” and “Women’s Aglow,” that I was a part of here for several years.

I led worship for the women, but Ed always carried a cassette player to the meetings, until he was in His 90’s, and taped the services. Then He would make tapes for them and sell them for a dollar. Back then, that was high tech stuff to them! They went to a very traditional denominational church that didn’t believe in all they were doing, after they got filled with the Spirit, but Ed, even though he was Spirit filled, continued to go there and win many over to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Janice would come to our church in our house and I would pick her up every Sunday and bring her here. She would have a huge bible in one hand, and a cassette player in the other, to be sure that she recorded all of the worship that my husband Doug and I both did, here at the house then. I use to call her my little Charismaniac! But one of the things she loved most, was my acoustic guitar playing, and she liked mine better than my accomplished husband’s playing, which I never could understand, except she loved the fact that God gave me songs, and that we would pray at prayer meeting and sing.

Worship and Warfare with Three Chords

I didn’t know that we were doing worship warfare and didn’t even know it had a name! All She thought was that when we would sing and pray like that, was that the Spirit of God was flowing and we got our prayers answered!

I dearly loved Janice, and after she went home to be with the Lord I just stopped playing, because I always felt that she was the only one who really wanted to hear me play my three chord choruses, lol!

They were Faithful

I really cried when she passed, because I missed her sitting there, as sick as she was, singing in her high pitched, off key, little voice. I remember when she was so sick and the last time that I saw her, she had her husband Ed bring her here to church and she said that she just had to get here one more time, as we helped her up the back steps into the living room.

I am so thankful for the faithful saints of God whom I have known in my walk with the Lord, and Ed and Janice were at the top of my list.

The Dream

I said all of that to say this. …..

I had a dream last night about Janice, and she called me to come and bring her to my house for fellowship. I remember in the dream that my house was buzzing with people and excitement in the Spirit, and I didn’t want to leave, but went to try and get her anyway.

I looked down as I was on my way, and I had forgotten my shoes. I never take my shoes off hardly at home, because I have hurt my feet so many times and I have this fear of stubbing my toes; so for me to take them off, would have had to have been something out of the ordinary.

We are on Holy Ground

I believe that Lord showed me that we are on “Holy Ground,” right now, and that is why I had my shoes off. (It is funny, because that is the song that I sang that Janice loved most) “Holy Ground.” I finally hurried and went to get Janice and when I got there, she was already gone!

I came back to the house and people were everywhere. I then asked where she was, and they said that she had gone upstairs to another level of the house. When I went up there she was just glowing! The Lord spoke to me and said that, Janice, in my dream represents the Charismatic and Pentecostal move of God that is coming up out of the denominational churches now!

An Exodus from The Traditional Church

Many are coming out of traditional churches and seeking a deeper walk with Him in this time and He is bringing them up into another level as they ascend in worship. There is about to be a mass exodus out of that which is dead, because like Ed and Janice, they have gotten a taste of the good things of God and they are now seeking Him with their whole heart!

Also, these older saints who have gone on, persevered in prayer for years for the outpouring of His Spirit in earth, and God is now honoring their prayers!

God is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh and He has not, and will not, pass by those who are sitting in dead dry churches, whose hearts are hungry for more!

He won’t let them go, without seeing this great outpouring! God is about to bring you into a higher place in Him. In fact He is going to bring a knowledge and a knowing to many, that they are truly seated with Him in heavenly places!

Janice was seated in this higher place, and she now knows that for real, but God is wanting us to know also, so that we can decree a thing from that place, and it shall be established!

The Lord is calling many to be filled with His Spirit, and He is calling you to come up higher in worship, and move into your rightful places of authority in Him!!
