Schooled by Well Trained Disciples!
A disciple who is WELL INSTRUCTED in the New Testament can teach an apostle who bears the title without being schooled in the ministry of the NEW TESTAMENT.
The bane of today’s ministry hinges on this: men are title crazy who should be spoon fed and wrapped up in nappies to cover their emotional, and spiritual poops.
“Then said He unto them, “Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things NEW and OLD,”“ Matthew 13:52.
When Apollos met some well trained disciples, he was taught more accurately the word an ministry of the New Testament.
“And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly,” Acts 18:24-26.
There is nothing wrong in admitting that our understanding on the New Testament is deficient and we need to be re-schooled by The Holy Spirit through men who knows better.
I ache when I hear preachers preach the New Testament from the Old Testament perspective…
God is raising well instructed disciples who will help train some apostles in the ministry of the New Testament.
