Saul was a “Smart Alec”!
The story in Acts about a man who was very religious to the point he was headed out to put everyone to death who did not believe as he saw it…. Is the story of a “Religious Smart Alec!”
Saul was so difficult, he sought approval with the religious leaders of his day…. With letters from the denomination he went out to get the so called enemies…
- Saul was zealous.
- Saul was sincere.
- Saul was determined.
- Saul was serious.
- Saul was stubborn.
- Saul was truly convinced.
- Saul thought murder was justified.
Saul was doing what he was doing “For God” — so he thought and believed!
But God, stopped Saul short and blinded him.
The power of God came upon him, it was like a flash of light!
Saul was changed by The Power of God, but you must know it was drastic. It was very painful. It was very real.
God can stop people like that, and He can do it very fast.
Saul was so changed… His name became Paul.
Some people there on Facebook are running around with a sword in their hand to destroy those whom they think are enemies of the cross, are fixing to be touched by God…. This saith The LORD!
“And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink,” Acts 9:1-9 KJV.

I have spoken this Word as I have heard it. LORD I pray for that Saul that he/ she will be changed no matter how…
