It is time to make it clear that Salvation cannot be obtained except by the Grace and Mercy of God through his Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ did die for the sins of the lost men, to SAVE THEM. He did go to the grave because of SINS PLACED UPON HIM. It was OUR SINS that nailed Jesus to his cross and placed Jesus in the Grave. It was for SINNERS JESUS CAME HERE AND LIVED AND DIED. It was His sole purpose. He came to seek and save that which is lost.

He found them all that day he died and arose again from the grave. He has saved all who will receive him as their Savior and Lord. The Scriptures tell us PLAINLY that ANYONE WHO BELIEVES AND CALLS upon the Lord for this Salvation will be SAVED:

Romans 10:9-13

“9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
¹⁰ For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
¹¹ For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
¹² For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
¹³ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

I think it time to make it clear that Salvation is NOT BY KEEPING LAWS OR THE LAW. It is very clear from Scripture that Salvation is BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH AND NOT BY WORKS. Ephesians 2:8-9. God did determine before even the foundation of the Earth that he would save men by Grace through Faith. He even wrote their names (the names of those he did foresee or know before they were created) into the Book of Life. Please consider these verses:

Psalm 139:13-17

“¹³ For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.¹⁴ I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well
¹⁵ My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
¹⁶ Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
¹⁷ How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!”

Romans 8:28-33

“²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
³⁰ Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
³¹ What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
³² He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
³³ Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.”

In the above verses we PLAINLY ARE TOLD that those who are saved were CHOSEN and that the choosing was done before the foundations of the Earth. It even goes on to say that to those who were predestined to be His were CALLED, JUSTIFIED, AND GLORIFIED all in one verse. It is very plainly written than that SALVATION IS OF GOD NOT MAN. It is a Bible Doctrine to say the least, that, MEN WERE SAVED AND ARE SAVED BECAUSE OF GOD.

Let us than consider that salvation itself than is NOT BY WORKS OF MAN but that Salvation is purely GRACE BY FAITH. Grace is UNMERITED FAVOR and FAITH COMES FROM GOD TO US ALL. God does love us with an eye of UNMERITED FAVOR and has opened our heart to BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH. He has seen in us something which we cannot find in ourselves. What I mean by that is: HE HAS SEEN IN US, EVEN AS WE WERE FOUND SINNERS, THAT WHICH HE LOVES. He has found in us HIS DESIRE. He has desired us and even COME FOR US. He did come to SEEK US OUT AND TO SAVE US by his deliberate act of LOVE on the Cross. He loved us when we were SINNERS, and even ungodly at that. He has died for us EVEN IF WE DID NOT DESERVE IT.

Romans 5:1-11

“¹ Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
² By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
³ And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
⁴ And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
⁵ And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
⁶ For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
⁷ For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
⁸ But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
⁹ Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
¹⁰ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
¹¹ And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”

It is good to again read of GODS WONDROUS WORKS DONE FOR US. In these days of much confusion, let us DRAW BACK TO GOD AND HIS WONDERFUL LOVE FOR US. Let us stop talking about how bad God is and Let us SEE HIM, THE ONE WHO TRULY DOES LOVE US.

At this time it is good to remind folks that SALVATION IS NOT BY LIVING RIGHT OR EVEN KEEPING LAWS.. it is by GOD’S GRACE. God wants all to know that NO MAN IS GOOD ENOUGH TO BE SAVED… this is why He had to DIE. Man is NOT SAVED BY THE LAW OR GOOD WORKS OR EVEN KEEPING COMMANDANTS, but man is saved by FAITH. He is saved by FAITH IN THE GOD WHO FINISHED ALL THE WORK FOR US ON HIS CROSS.

Romans 3:19-28

“¹⁹ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
²⁰ Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
²¹ But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
²² Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
²³ For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
²⁴ Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
²⁵ Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
²⁶ To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
²⁷ Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
²⁸ Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”
