Sailing Ship
I had a brief Vision last night. Not sure who it’s for, but somebody needs to read this.
I see a fully rigged sailing ship on the seas. All the sails are billowing as the wind drives the ship along.
I sense in my spirit that this is an expression, a picture, of a Church plant ship.
It’s sailing uncharted waters and seeking a new port in which to drop anchor, and settle. The crew are all pioneers on an expedition seeking fertile ground on which to plough, plant, and sow.
I wondered, why the ship analogy?
It came to me that they’re just waiting to see where the wind takes them!
I feel they’re on the wrong course — how will they find fertile ground whilst at sea?
Are they really exploring, or are they a little bit lost?
“Good thinking!” said The LORD, “They’re actually more than a bit lost!”
The LORD impressed upon me that someone is ‘planning’ to plant a new Church, but it’s the wrong time and the wrong place.
It’s time to consolidate that which they already have, and to reap the harvest they’ve already sown into — for there is a mighty harvest coming if they don’t allow the enemy to distract them with ideas they are not ready to put into action.
I don’t know who this is for, but I do know it’s from The LORD.
The picture, used with grateful permission, is by Yvonne Coombs. This vision was prompted by the above picture and it is my interpretation, not Yvonne’s.
