Sacrificing Holy Things
Sacrificing holy things in an unholy place is a dangerous thing!
The Bible tells us that the Philistines had been in war with Israel.
Israel had lost a battle, and because of this loss, the Philistines took it upon themselves to take a holy vessel to the temple of an unholy god named Dagon.
Because they did, The Wrath of God was so great and waxed so hot against them, that God caused something phenomenal to happen.
When the people of [the city of] Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before The Ark of The LORD! And, not only that, but they took Dagon and put him back in his place.
But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before The Ark of The LORD! His head and hands had been broken off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained.
I believe that God did this prophetic act to show His enemies that even your god Dagon will have to bow before Him and, that there is no god greater than Yahweh!
After he had fallen, God took the head of their idol god and amputated his head to take away their authority and to dismantle their kingdom because the threshold was supposed to be a place of miracles, sanctification and holiness where The LORD would meet one face to face when you entered the temple.
“And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold,” Judges 19:27.
The LORD went in unto to the house of Dagon and dismantled the Philistine’s god, just as they had done unto His People and let His enemies know it’s a dangerous thing to touch what has been consecrated and dedicated to The LORD for His Purposes.
God let His enemies know that you are not too high that He cannot touch you!
The LORD’s anger was kindled against the Philistines because they had insulted Him, by not paying homage to God the most high, and God was not about to allow them to get away with it!
The hand and the finger of God was so heavy upon the people of Ashdod and its vicinity. He brought devastation on them and afflicted them so that tumors came upon them as a judgment!
When the people of Ashdod saw what was happening, they said, ‘The ark of the god of Israel must no} stay here with us, because his hand is heavy on us and on Dagon our god’”
Your enemies can take something that God has given unto you and God will press them so that they will have to give it up!
What have you touched that The LORD’s wrath has become heavy upon you? For even your body is God’s holy temple!
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you,” 1 Corinthians 3:16.
Many people in this season are touching things that are sacred and that belong to God, and they have begun to use them for evil instead of for good!
They have begun to take the sacred things dedicated to The House of God to use it for evil; such as their temple, anointing oils, positions, titles, gifts that are to be used in the house of God for evil.
Even The People of God and things of God that should have been dedicated to be set apart, sanctified and consecrated to The LORD, are placed among idols and in places where it should not be!
But God in this season, shall deal with those who are using His anointed vessels and things dedicated to Him and shall have the last say.
What you have taken, you’re gonna have to give it up and take it back in this season!
Things you have decreed and declared by flesh and wicked works, God himself shall dismantle your evil house as He did the house of Dagon in this season!
It’s time to repent, if you are guilty of using what has been, or should have been, dedicated to God for righteousness sake!

As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
A powerful word of truth; we get caught up in the ‘lust and pride of life’ so easily; BUT there are consequences for this wide road we may be walking. Lord, open our eyes to see our wicked ways and give us a humble heart so that we will repent and turn back to You as our first and only love!
