Rip Van Winkle is Waking Up!
This morning I may have heard the strangest ‘Title’ to an article yet, in the Spirit.
Still what does it mean? We will explore together.
Many of us have heard this story of course, of ‘Rip Van Winkle‘.
In Wikipedia:
“Rip Van Winkle” is a short story by the American author Washington Irving, first published in 1819. It follows a Dutch-American villager in colonial America named Rip Van Winkle who meets mysterious Dutchmen, imbibes their liquor and falls asleep in the Catskill Mountains. He awakes 20 years later to a very changed world, having missed the American Revolution….
First I wish to include this HKP article here to set as a background and to put this all together: “Only the Flag of True Glory Will Wave Now“.
To cap the end of what The Spirit of The LORD was speaking to me above, was: “Why have I repeatedly shown you American Flags through the years child/ daughter with an ethereal, glory look?
They were waving in ‘Glory’. America shall have a new look. ‘Remnant Saints’ shall go against the grain.
Not a new Nation but a new ‘heart set’. Pledging their allegiance to only Me. Old glory? Surely not, I do say, but My Glory on the REMNANT is pronounced.
Line upon line, precept upon precept, My Word shall forever more stand.
Rip Van Winkle is waking up I speak this day,” sayeth The LORD.
“Why have you slept so long, My Remnant Church? It is to you I do speak this day.
Wake up and stay awake and I will bless you as never before. Called for such a time as this, you are.
Altar lay it all.
Remnant, arise as never before, and suit up in your Armor, and I shall surely use you in this last day. March! Come alive in Me.”
God bless you all.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in The LORD, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Ephesians 6:10-18.

Oh Shelley, thank you taking the time to respond. I believe what you wrote here goes also with Bev’s note, that I just read. Look at God:

This stirs something deep within me….
Like when you’ve worked in the heat of the day to pull the crops in …face flushed with exertion, sweat rolling off your brow….Bones aching, but a deep lingering satisfaction of good, honest hard work overtakes the pain…and you glance up at the Glorious skies….Just as the sun is beginning to finish its course for the day…Magnificence unfolds in the skies …like an affirmation from Father….filling weary ones with the promise of rest…and gladness…and His great goodness…
Isaiah 28:5 AMPC
[But] in that [futureMessianic] day the Lord of hosts shall become a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the [converted] remnant of His people,
Psalms 110:3 AMPC
Your people will offer themselves willingly in the day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, who are as the dew.
