“The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace and Joy in The Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17-18.

Righteousness, Peace and Joy are the rich blessings that God in and through Messiah Jesus and the Holy Spirit, has given us to relate in harmony with God our Father, Messiah Jesus, The Holy Spirit and our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ.

Peace and joy

At the birth of Messiah Jesus an angel of The LORD brought the shepherds good news of great joy and the multitude of angels praised God saying, “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”

“There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock. Behold, an angel of The LORD stood by them, and the glory of The LORD shone around them, and they were terrified. The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people. For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Messiah The LORD. This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.” Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:8-14 WMB

“It is because of God that you are in union with the Messiah Jesus, who for us has become wisdom from God, as well as our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.”

“Brothers [and sisters], think about your own calling. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is nonsense in the world to make the wise feel ashamed. God chose what is weak in the world to make the strong feel ashamed. And God chose what is insignificant in the world, what is despised, what is nothing, in order to destroy what is something, so that no one may boast in God’s presence. It is because of God that you are in union with the Messiah Jesus, who for us has become wisdom from God, as well as our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Therefore, as it is written, “The person who boasts must boast in The LORD.” 1 Corinthians 1:26-21 ISV.
