Righteousness and Righteousness – A narrow divide!
There is a thin line between righteousness and unrighteousness!
The Lord spoke to me that sometimes we want to be like other nations (people) so bad, that we will risk salvation to do it!
Just like the children of Israel who wanted a king! Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, and said unto Samuel, behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations (1 Samuel 8:4-5).
My God my God! What a shame what some church folks (religious) will to do to be like everybody else?
I hear God saying that He is telling you to humble yourselves and to wait on Him for promotion, but you want to be king like other nations, or you want someone to be a king over (pastor, apostle…) you so bad, that you will accept any old body to rule over you; instead of waiting on God to send someone to be your covering!
You end up choosing some witch or warlock who don’t care anything about you! When you call them, they won’t pray for you!
They won’t even check on you to see how you doing, and all they want are your tithes and offerings and for you to become another number of statistics in the body of Christ, saith The Lord!
God telling you to not marry that man because he ain’t saved, and you still want him! God is telling you not to put these material things (idolatry) before him, yet you do! God is telling you to come out from among them and to be separate, saith The Lord, and you still can’t give up that friend who is taking you away form God. But I hear The Lord saying, “How can two walk together except they agree?” (Amos 3:3).
When, God is telling you to lift up your hands and to praise and worship him in the church and you ashamed to lift up your hands! Why? Because, somebody gonna see you and they will talk about you! So, you are like Peter, just warming yourself around the fire; instead of allowing the fire to purge you from your iniquities and your infirmities saith, the Lord!
I got news for you, The Lord is saying, “Whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels” (Luke 9:26).
But this thing displeased Samuel and the lord, when the children of Israel said, give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto The Lord, and The Lord said unto Samuel, hearken unto the voice (give you what you want) of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.
My God my God! Sometimes we will keep worrying on God and He will give us what we want, only to find out later, we made a huge mistake: only to find out later God doesn’t want you to have what you were asking him for!
But, God allowed the children of Israel to have what they were requesting: He said to Samuel, “Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them” (1 Samuel 8:9).
You see, God tried to warn them by sending Samuel to warn them of all that would happen if they kept persisting on having this king and to be like the other nations! But, like some of you: you will not be happy until you go out and get what God is trying to tell you that you do not need!
I heard God saying that when the man or woman of God continues to warn you, and you still persist on having it your way, then sometimes God will allow you to get what you want in order to beat you back into subjection, with the very thing you cried to get from him!
Then you will cry for help and there will be no help or counsel to get you out of the mess you are in! Why? Because you rejected the prophet and the word of God: now comes the judgement of God in your life! All because you rejected the counsel and advice of the prophet of God! (1 Samuel 8:10).
And, so you see, Samuel said, this will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: he will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. He will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to plow his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be perfumers, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive groves, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your finest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and The Lord will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless, the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel (prophet); and they said, nay; but we will have a king over us; that we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of The Lord. And The Lord said to Samuel, hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, go ye every man unto his city (1 Samuel 8:4-22).
I heard God saying that He will not force himself upon you in this season, and if you still want to pursue what He has told you not to do, then be ready to accept the consequences of your disobedience! There is a thin line between righteousness and unrighteousness, saith The Lord!
The choice is yours!

Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her into prophetic ministry, she has been on this journey, called to intercede and to pray on behalf of others in the ministry as God speaks to her, instructing, directing and dropping a prophetic word for her, to give to others. To prepare her for her prophetic call, God promised He would bringing her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did! |
I am reminded by the apostle John “All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. (1 John 4:15 NLT)
I am reminded by the words of the prophet Jeremiah.. “The LORD has vindicated us. Come, let us announce in Jerusalem everything the LORD our God has done. (Jeremiah 51:10 NLT)
I am reminded of the prophet of Isaiah who pointed to the vindication and gifting of his chosen people: “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken! (Isaiah 54:17 NLT)
I am reminded by the God breathed words of the apostle Paul:
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” ) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:31-39 NLT)
Glory to God our Father for the fruits of the spirit.” But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” (Galatians 5:22 NLT)
Praise Our Lord Jesus ! Because of his powerful work on the cross we enjoy:vindication, confirmation of his absolute love for us, joy, peace, kindness, goodness and faithfulness.
