Rich In His Grace
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Rich In His Grace
I thought I was poor
But then there came The LORD
By His Grace
His Light revealed the Truth
He opened the eyes of my understanding
I thought I was on my own
But then there came The LORD
By His Grace
His Mercy overtook my striving
He taught me to depend on Him
Ohhhh, He was rich but became poor
Ohhhh, He sat in heaven but came down to earth
Ohhhh, I was steeped in sin but He took it from me
And nailed it on the Cross, all so I could be free,
Made rich in His Grace
I thought I was living
But then there came The LORD
By His Grace
He showed me what Life was really
He brought it forth in me overflowing
I thought I was loving
But then there came The LORD
By His Grace
He gave me such Love without fear
His Perfect Love made everything complete
Ohhhh, He was rich but became poor
Ohhhh, He sat in heaven but came down to earth
Ohhhh, I was steeped in sin but He took it from me
And nailed it on the Cross, all so I could be free,
Made rich in His Grace
Ohhhh, He was rich but became poor
Ohhhh, He sat in heaven but came down to earth
Ohhhh, I was steeped in sin but He took it from me
And nailed it on the Cross, all so I could be free,
Made rich in His Grace
I cannot deny His Glory
I will testify to His Goodness
Indeed before I found Him,
In everything I was poor
Yet a Father’s Sacrifice changed everything…
Ohhhh, yes, then came The LORD
I have been made rich in His Grace forever more…
Ohhhh, He was rich but became poor
Ohhhh, He sat in heaven but came down to earth
Ohhhh, I was steeped in sin but He took it from me
And nailed it on the Cross, all so I could be free,
Made rich in His Grace
Ohhhh, yes, then came The LORD

Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10
“Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.” 1 Peter 3:22
“But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,” Hebrews 10:12
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
