A Summary of Revival — Past and Present

My wife, Linda, and I are mandated by God to opening old wells of revival by planting stakes, making declarations, and blowing the Shofar.

Now, quite recently, Dutch Sheets, with others, has been visiting old well sites and seeing remarkable Visions of Revival.

We also know another group who’ve been to Red River Meeting House and sampled the anointing there.

So, I went back to my previous studies of revival and The LORD prompted me to publish some of my findings! THEN He gave me a prophecy to speak out!

This is my own list of places and characters that I have personally experienced in one way or another.

Places and people who influenced some early wells of revival, showing a very brief history of Pentecostalism and some of the many characters involved.

Hans Nielsen Hauge — a father of Pentecostalism in Scandinavia, his mantle was given on April 5 1796 in Rolvsøy, Norway.

I had the privilege of visiting his original farm house in 2009. We stood in his living room which became known as his Prayer Room. There is a huge anointing still present in that room — we could hardly stand.

Red River Meeting House & Cane Ridge in Kentucky, USA In 1800 these places became the source of a great outpouring with many signs and wonders.

I’ve not been there, but recently some friends did and, once again the anointing is still there — waiting for us to pick up our mantles for revival today!

Alexander Dowie who ministered first in Australia, then became influential in the U.K. in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Dowie also introduced Smith Wigglesworth to the baptism of Holy Spirit in the early 1900’s

The Welsh Revival and Azusa Street Revival – from 1904 onwards. We’ve visited the main places of the Welsh Revival — Blaenannerch Chapel and Moriah Chapel — several times. As with the other wells, these still carry a huge anointing ready for the next generation of revivalists.

William Seymour – considered by many THE Father of modern day Pentecostalism, who led the Azusa Street Revival.

William Hutchinson who, in 1908, opened the first openly Pentecostal church in Bournemouth, England

AOG, founded at Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1914 and gave substance to the Pentecostal movement, although Azusa Street saw the first real manifestation of it.

George & Stephen Jeffrey‘s – founders of the Eliminated movement of churches in 1915 in Ireland & Wales.

Peggy & Christine Smith – who prayed for many years and finally birthed the Hebridean Revival 1949-1951

The Welsh Revival was the birthplace, the seeding place, of the Pentecostal rising that founded the whole Pentecostal movement at Azusa Street and spread throughout the world. AOG [The Assemblies of God] was founded in Hot Springs, Arkansas 1914 but Azusa Street was the first real manifestation of the Pentecostal Movement.

Prayer was the engine room of every revival, epitomised, as if it were not obvious, by Peggy and Christine Smith on the Isle of Lewis in the Hebrides.

Now — what’s coming in this present generation?

We already see the signs of revival starting in various places in America. There’s good evidence of it in California, Alabama, and Tennessee that we have seen.

We believe this will spread rapidly as the Fire of Revival grows exponentially.

What about other places around the world?

It is well reported that places like Iran, Afghanistan, and China — places of heavy persecution — have revival spreading like wildfire.

They are known as the fastest growing Christian churches in the world, despite being underground, despite all the death threats and other persecutions.

But what about Wales, Scotland, Ireland, or England? Who knows?

Scotland has long been prophesied, including me — although I’m coming round to Wales right now. I know — double minded man etc etc . . .

The LORD has told me, a few times now, that the few people reading this are sufficient to bring revival back to their area, maybe the whole country — even to the UK. IF they get together in UNITY.

“A house divided cannot stand.” Mark 3:20.

England seems to be still cold, and Scotland is still under an ‘iron dome’ of witchcraft.

There are the odd hot-spots of course, but generally, and I emphasise generally, the church has given up, surrendered her rights, and generally fought very shy of being the voice of God lest they get persecuted!Ireland, north and south, seems very quiet too, and Wales is still a very closed nation in church terms — no unity at all.

Yes, there are exceptions, places where the spark of revival still tries to ignite those around them, but such places are rare!

Yet, it is my firm conviction that Wales is beginning to smoulder under the growing fire started by the embers of the great Welsh Revival of the early 1900’s.

So, today, I prophesy this to Wales

WALES, HEAR THE WORD OF The LORD, for The LORD is calling you to His side.

He is lining up your old wells before you. I call each well to open up in the Name of The LORD. Living water flow once more.

Wales, you are in the “Valley of dry bones” right now, but I prophesy to the bones to draw near together — to come together in a oneness and unity that has not been seen for decades, even centuries.

I prophesy to the breath to return to these recreated bodies and to bring life into The Body of Christ in Wales.

I prophesy to The Body in Wales to uncap, to tear open, to release each and every well that has been stopped up in these past seasons.

I prophesy the Spirit of God to return in Revival Glory and Power to Wales.

I prophesy REVIVAL in Wales this day and lasting until The LORD returns for His Bride.

Finally, a Word from earlier

“I see oil, golden oil, flowing all along the border, from Wales into England.

I hear the voice of The LORD saying, “See, the oil of My Presence flows from the old wells of Wales. As you break open these old wells, taste and see once again the power of My Presence.”“

Amen, Amen, and Amen
