As I was praying I began to see a man dressed in old tattered dirty clothing typical from the Revolutionary war era. I also saw a man with a fife and a man with snare drum carrying it from a strap to his neck and he was beating a cadence and I also saw a man carrying a flag of red, white and blue that said on it “Spirit of 1776”. I also heard “minutemen.” I then heard “Revival or Revolt.” I also saw the statue of Liberty and the torch she holds.

The bands consisted of fife players, typically snare drum players and flag carriers. In 1775 these bands provided the steady rhythms to lead and or drill militia, patriots, minutemen against the British in the Revolutionary war.

Support for freedom and independence grew and spread like wild fire through the colonies as the war intensified. The colonist held rallies and patriotic speeches with banners. Music played an important role in military victories. For example, the American commander had his fifes and drummers play well into the enemy positions. His troops, inspired by the music, went on to defeat the enemy forces so decisively that this battle became an important turning point in the war.

The term “Minutemen” was given to members of the militia of the American Colonies who vowed to be ready in a minute’s notice. Some of these men were chosen from the general population of town based training groups. They had to be ready for rapid deployment. Minutemen were usually drawn from settlers of each town. It was very common to be fighting along side of family members.

Most militia were not provided for, so they had to equip themselves. Many wore their farmers or workman’s clothes, while others had buckskin hunting garb on. Some even added Indian garb to intimidate the enemy including war paint. Most of the militia used hunting rifles. The militias experience was not the regular warfare as the majority were familiar with hunting. They learned from the Indians the value of gorilla warfare.

The wilderness beyond the towns was very familiar to the minutemen and they favored this type of combat. The rifles they used for hunting were especially good at long distance and caused them to develop superb marksmanship that earned the minutemen a deadly reputation . Again, in the American Revolution, the minutemen, who were patriot soldiers were special militia that would be called at a minute’s notice.

As Patrick Henry said, “Give me Liberty or give me death.” We are in a fight to preserve freedom and Liberty in America and to fight and preserve Liberty in the body of Christ. There are forces at work to undermine our Liberties in America and the body of Christ world wide.

Our nation desperately needs a great awakening to shake us out of our slumber. The forces at work to undermine have purpose and are determined to destroy Liberty and all it stands for. We cannot take for granted our Liberties and be at ease anymore.

The Lord is sounding alarms and trumpets. I also saw a alarm clock and it was ringing so strong it tipped over. The Lord impressed upon me that we are in the last hour and it is time to awaken out of our slumber and rise, shine for HIS light has come for the Glory of the Lord is risen upon you. We need a spiritual revolution NOW!

In 1734, the Great Awakening began in New England, ignited by Jonathan Edwards, who sermons in Northampton, Massachusetts, emphasize human depravity and divine omnipotence.

According to Edwards, in the battle at the end of the age, Christ and his church shall in this battle obtain a complete and entire victory over their enemies. In this victory will be the most glorious display of divine power; the visible kingdom of Satan shall be overthrown and the kingdom of Christ set up on the ruins of it; everywhere throughout the whole habitable globe.

I view the significance of these last waves concerning the moving of God’s Spirit is quite similar in many respects to the Great Awakening beginning in 1734 and to the Cane Ridge revival which took place in Western Kentucky at the beginning of the 1800s. The Pentecostal revival which began at Azusa Street, Los Angeles in 1906 was also very similar.

I view them as genuine outpourings of the Spirit of God. Very often, these awakenings precede times of great difficulty. I also see that the greatest Awakening will precede the most tumultuous times on the earth and God is going to WAKE us UP!

The Great Awakening preceded the American revolutionary war while the awakening in 1858-1859 preceded the civil war in America and the Pentecostal revival preceded the First World War. These outpourings have therefore often served to prepare people for times of severe tribulation providing the faith in God needed to weather the storms ahead.

In 1992, Billy Graham issued a book entitled ‘Storm Warning.’ As the title suggests he believes that we are headed for considerable turbulence in every arena of life. We should not allow that to frighten us but in the midst of the present outpouring of God’s Spirit we should take advantage of the opportunity to straighten out our lives and cleave closely to Jesus Christ who is the only one who can protect us in the coming times of trouble. It is often necessary to pass through trials in order to become overcomers. God will strip every source of security away from us so that we will be forced to lean only upon Him.

I agree with most of the Biblical commentators of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries that there will be a period in which the spiritual presence of Christ in the Church will be experienced in an unusual measure and that out of this will come a universal AWAKENING and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will then stand out as a kingdom of peace and righteousness. There will be a clear distinction.

Revivalist Jonathan Edwards in his ‘History of the Work of Redemption‘ refers to a glorious work of God’s Spirit by which Satan’s kingdom will be overthrown as the saints begin to walk in true spiritual authority. It is quite possible that the new level of anointing that we have seen in this decade is just the beginning of that work.

I agree with Edwards that in the battle at the end of the age, Christ and His church will attain a complete victory over their enemies and that entailed in this victory will be a powerful display of God’s glory. We may well be on the brink of the time of the display of God’s power when, according to Edwards, the visible kingdom of Satan will be overthrown and the kingdom of Christ will be set up on its ruins throughout the entire world. God is coming back for a glorious church.

When Jesus said that His kingdom was not of this world, He indicated that it is not by the methods of the world, such as espionage, manipulation, or control. His kingdom will be established, but by the very opposite methods, returning good for evil.

Acts 3:21 states that there will be a period of the restitution of all things and we may very well be on the brink of that period when the saints, living and moving in the love of God in accordance with these principles, bring about the rule and reign of Christ throughout the earth, including His personal return to catch his beloved bride away in the midst of tribulation, yet in tribulations she shall triumph mightily. There shall be one last great awakening before the return of the Lord and it will prepare the remnant for the Lord’s coming. This is the greatest time in all of history to be alive!

The statue of Liberty or Lady Liberty, stands at the gateway in America and holds a torch. Who of us in the body of Christ, are willing to stand at the gates and hold the illumining torch of the Lord to show the way to Liberty in Christ?

Will the church arise? Who are willing to march and fight in warfare for the preserving work of grace we hold dear? Do we neglect our posts? Do we neglect our prayers for the saints and for the will of God to come into all the earth?

Where are the watchmen to stand on the walls and sound the alarm?

Where are those who can see into the enemies camp and sound the alarm in offensive warfare and destroy the works of darkness?

I remember being in the military and how we were trained in discipline and to be in readiness at all times. In the military we practiced alerts. When the siren sounded everyone was to mobilize and get into position with full chemical gear and weapons.

God has given us weapons that are out of this world and we are to use them. He also gave us protection through HIS Shekinah (HIS manifested presence) and armor he provided for us. We are to pray on all occasion in the spirit interceding in behalf of the saints and building up ourselves in our most holy faith. Scripture tells us to pray for ALL those in authority.

“FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth,” 1 Timothy 2:1-4.

Awakening and revival are not for just renewal and seeing the supernatural experiences alone but to build your faith and to equip us for the tumultuous times ahead. Many have received refreshing and experienced Gods breath revive us in the 90’s but we need a radical out pouring of the Lords presence to hit this earth.

Many think war will not find them, but I tell you if you remain passive in prayer and passive in your walk in God, war will come to your door and come in your house! We are in a battle and the Lord wants us to come to attention! All truth parallels and when you see war in the natural, KNOW there is a war in the heaven lies with evil spirits in high places of authority.

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.
Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people),” (Ephesians 6:10-18).

We MUST awaken and pray and intercede to bridge the gaps in our spiritual walls and to uncover diabolical plots of darkness and destroy them with the spoken Word of God. America desperately needs revival and a great Awakening. The body of Christ needs us to be in our place. We all are needed!

I experienced a vision in prayer years ago that I believe is applicable now:

I saw a lot of dead bodies decomposing, and vultures circling above. I then saw the vultures devouring the flesh of these slain ones. The next scene was a valley of bones and other types of vultures came breaking and picking out the marrow in the bones. The vultures aren’t happy with just the flesh of dead things; they want the bone, the marrow and the life source.

Sadly to say, many confessing Christians act like those vultures. They sit in their chairs picking the bones of those who have fallen instead of speaking life to the bones.

The Lord commanded Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones and command them to live. He spoke Gods WORD just as you can speak Gods WORD.

Here the Word of the Lord:

I AM the resurrection and the life; I can make dead things live and make them brand new again. I can cause MY breath and Spirit to enter those that were slain and MY anointing shall bring together all the broken pieces of the fallen.

Though you thought you were finished and your vision dead; behold I will open up your graves and tombs and you shall begin again and I will place you into your new positions.

Dead things stink, dead things attract vultures and dead things cannot grow. I knew MY friend Lazarus was ill and I knew when he died and I let him die for MY Glory.

Sometimes things in your lives must completely die before the new era can begin again. I completely died so when I rose again on the 3^rd day you would completely live because you are complete in ME for I AM the head of all principalities and powers. Death doesn’t hold your key.

It was said to ME that if I would have come sooner Lazarus would not have died. I felt the feelings of their grief, mourning and loss and I wept as I do for you.

It is in these death experiences that the old must pass away. You can begin again. In these processes I have created you to expand and make you trustworthy agents of truth to the nations.

I commanded Lazarus to come forth, and he did. He began again but needed help getting out of the burial clothes just as many who are recovering from tragedy, grief and trauma need help to be released from all that binds them up.

Prophesy and pray about MY broken, slain and those who have lost so much. Stand with them in strength until I renew their entire being.

I AM a God of restoration and reconciliation. How many fallen or slain ones do you know?

How many backsliders and those who have fallen asleep do you see on a daily basis?

Speak MY WORD to them through your intercessions. Free them from the burial clothes and bondage’s. Pray for a spirit of repentance for repentance precedes revival says the Lord.

I shall release revival to wake up MY church. Renewal of lost or stolen things will come back. Remember revival is a beginning not an ending. I revive you for change and I don’t revive you so you can be in ecstatic bliss.

I revive you to prepare you for what is ahead.

I revive you so you can begin again says the Lord.
