REVEALED
It was written, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. When enough people begin to testify of the same thing, it deserves note; and closer examination. It has been said here recently, that the Spirit has begun revealing things to people, that they did not actually know before. Consider the idea, that so many feel that God can only move, in ways ‘they’ understand. Since time began, a truly great number of folk did not like to hear, that God, does not think like we think.
When I say that His ways are past finding out, many will stop reading this. I was led to go back and read the story of Esau and Jacob. It is almost even incomprehensible, to read just how many lies, Jacob and his mother told. The absolute wicked ways that they tricked that old man Isaac; I was even stunned, more than ever. I tell you one reason why we never dwelt on it much. The idea that the head of the twelve tribes of Israel, got his place and the blessing by such a manner, bothers us. Because we realize, that God had to have allowed that to happen; He knew about it all; beforehand.
We need to understand, that many are once again seeking the leading of the Spirit, with all of their heart. And the Spirit, is revealing more and more things to them; in the Word, and about His ways. Jesus said, “I thank thee oh Father, that thou hast hid things from the wise and prudent, and has revealed them unto babes.” The Apostle said, “not in the words of man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth.” He also spoke about the Mystery of Christ and how things were “now being revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets, by the Spirit.” And still being revealed now.
I was sitting in a service earlier, listening to scripture being read, before a sermon. My ears picked up something. He was reading about the story of Thomas. Mary Magdalene could not touch Jesus, when He revealed who He was to her outside the tomb; but Thomas could touch him, when he appeared on the inside of a locked door. Something happened between the two incidents.
But I heard what I had heard before, but didn’t really hear either. “And many ‘other signs’ truly did Jesus, in the presence of His disciples, which are not written, in this Book.” Greater things, than this?
The Holy Ghost was upon Simeon; he had been told that he would see the Lord’s Christ before he died. It was revealed to him, by the Holy Ghost! He came “by the Spirit,” into the temple. After coming through the door the second time, Jesus breathed on them; “Receive ye, the Holy Ghost.” Peter, was writing about some things that were kept by the power of God through faith, unto salvation; “ready to be revealed, in the last time.”
I believe that means now; because, what was started when the early church began, was to continue, until Christ came back. In the Spirit, more is always revealed.
