Return to The LORD — or Face the Consequences
I asked The LORD for a Word for us all for today, and He gave me 2 Chronicles 30:7-9.
“And do not be like your fathers and your brethren, who trespassed against The LORD God of their fathers, so that He gave them up to desolation, as you see.
Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to The LORD; and enter His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve The LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.
For if you return to The LORD, your brethren and your children will be treated with compassion by those who lead them captive, so that they may come back to this land; for The LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.”” 2 Chronicles 30:7-9 NKJV.
“Don’t repeat the sins of your ancestors who turned their backs on God, the God of their ancestors who then brought them to ruin — you can see the ruins all around you.
Don’t be bullheaded as your ancestors were. Clasp God’s outstretched hand. Come to His Temple of holy worship, consecrated for all time. Serve God, your God. You’ll no longer be in danger of his hot anger.
If you come back to God, your captive relatives and children will be treated compassionately and allowed to come home. Your God is gracious and kind and won’t snub you — come back and he’ll welcome you with open arms.” 2 Chronicles 30:7-9 TMT.
Though this Word of The LORD — 2 Chronicles 30:7-9 — was written about 2.5 millennia ago, warning The Children of Israel to return to The LORD God, it could easily have been a Rhema Word from The LORD written and released for His Church today.
The LORD is still seeking for His Children to return to Him. His Heart for this has not changed over the millennia — and the words The LORD uses, have not changed either.
Yes! The LORD is reaching out today to all proclaiming Christians who have no relationship with Him. He wants to enter into a personal relationship with you, and welcome you, with open arms!

God has a standard which is always never kept by man as a result of sins that have consequences. However, our Merciful Father is ever ready to forgive us if we return to Him. May we return to God to avoid His Holy anger against us! Thanks Sir for sharing. More Grace!
The word you received is great confirmation!
The “desolation and ruins” that we see eveywhere, are the humans, ourselves, who once had divine (immortal) bodies but as the consequense of our sins now is dressed in skin.
Amen, Angus. Solid truth how the Lord wants us to have a relationship with Him! We need to heed the warning!
Thank you for all you and Jill do here.
