Return to the Light!
I believe the biggest impact that a believer can make on others, is to walk in truth and light!
Lately life has been tough in various ways, and honestly at times I have questioned God, with a big ‘ole WHY?
Why does it seem like I can’t catch a break?
Why are things so upside down?
Why do bad things happen to good people?
There will always be a million why’s and not many answers to difficult questions this side of Heaven.
However, there is one ultimate answer to life and that answer is GOD.
In the thick of the storms of life, sometimes we may feel as though, we have been forgotten. We may get angry, sad, frustrated or feel despair.
I have been there and if you are dealing with a mountain of issues in life, know that I am extending my hand to you right now!
The enemy would have you believe you are a failure because you are feeling down and out. The enemy is a liar!
As humans we experience highs and lows. As humans we have lots of emotions. As humans we can at times feel like throwing in the towel.
The enemy may whisper you are weak or your are worthless… LIES do not listen to him!
God put a song in my path recently that made me remember when I accepted Christ.
I remembered that girl who was over the moon in LOVE with her creator who redeemed her at the age of 7 in Bible School. I had to ask a tough question of myself… “What have I done with that girl?”
I was a fearless 7 year old who trusted God so completely that when I had a request I completely expected it to be taken care of.
Unbridled FAITH & TRUST… so much trust that I would ask for snow days for school fully believing he would answer and He did!
Fast forward some 40 odd years and LIFE has dragged me through the mud in various ways. We all can attest to various trials and tribulations during our life.
As believers in Christ we are not immune to adversity.
We are not promised that life will be a “bowl of cherries” so to speak. In fact the word says that… God makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust according to Matthew 5:45.
“that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust,” Matthew 5:45.
I believe The LORD is reminding me and I am reminding you to return to HIS light.
Think about when you accepted Christ. Remember the feeling of joy, love, peace, redemption and excitement that you felt — that “honeymoon” feeling where you felt with Jesus you could conquer the world, and for a while maybe you did — then came LIFE rolling in with it’s one, two punch!
If you are feeling alone and in the dark reach out to Jesus and let him lift you out of the pit.
Lean into Him and remember the super power you felt after you got saved!
A super power that is still there waiting in the wings from the King of Heaven. A power of redemption that you received that no man or enemy from hell can take from you!
Return to the one who first LOVED you so much that He died for you. He is waiting with open arms to hug you big.
Remember that no matter the muck and the mire, no matter the pit you are in right now, no matter the mistakes you may be making or have made recently there is no one who can keep God from you…
Choose to run to him this minute and remember that child-like faith that you had on your redemption day!
Blessings and HIS abundant grace to you!

To walk with one foot in light and other foot in dark is walking in shadows. Luke-warm light. “Once saved always saved” is walking in shadows. Interfaith is Interunfaithful, it is a mixture.
