Resist The Evil One, And He Will Flee
As God is releasing instruction to further advance The Kingdom, the enemy is seeking to incite confusion through the use of the small foxes.
In Song of Solomon 2:15 the speaker says, “Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes, that ruin the vineyards; our vineyards that are in bloom.”
Isn’t it ironic that in the middle of a romantic, tender conversation, the issue of a fox hunt surfaces?
In this poem (Song of Solomon 2:15), the foxes are symbolic. Solomon’s readers and intended audience considers foxes to be destructive animals that could destroy valuables. Below are three examples:
“So Samson went and caught 300 foxes and took torches. And he turned them tail to tail and put a torch between each pair of tails.” Judges 15:4
“They shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for jackals (foxes)” Psalm 63:10
“Your prophets have been like jackals among ruins, O Israel.” Ezekiel 13:4
As aforementioned in Judges 15:4, Samson ties torches to 300 foxes and releases them to destroy the grain fields of the Philistines.
This speaks to the destructive nature of things that we have the potential to dismiss as small or easily disposable, such as: chatter, breaches of boundaries, disrespect, unwanted attention, slander, accusation, and anxiety.
In Nehemiah 4:3, Tobiah mocked the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall, saying, “What they are building — even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”
In response to these examples, it is evident that whether the fox is big or small, it’s innate nature to be destructive should not be ignored or easily discarded — it must be resisted.
The enemy is hoping that you will continue to tolerate his antics so that he can enter into your sacred spaces and wreak havoc.
The evil one is after your place of dominion. He wants access so that he can create despair and doubt in your heart.
Many of you have went through extreme warfare in the past few years, and this promised land that flows with milk and honey is the one thing that is keeping your expectation in God alive. The enemy desires to exploit that.
- The enemy wants to spoil the milk and make the honey sour.
- The enemy wants you to get tired of fighting and give up.
- The enemy wants you to stop believing that God is good.
- The enemy wants his accusations toward you to become a reality.
But lift up for heads, for The LORD is sending relief to his children. The LORD is removing the foxes and giving you room to breathe the fresh air of dominion.
Expect to experience angelic assistance on an unprecedented level. These angels have been assigned to uproot the evil one’s agenda to delay you.
These warriors angels are gigantic and they carry swords that are illuminated and sharp. Their unique assignment is to remove anything and everyone who will negatively influence the mental space that Yahweh desires for you to embody as you advance The Kingdom.
Do not be alarmed at sudden shifts in relationships, schedules and routines. Everything concerning you is new, and this is The LORD’s decree.
You can not go back to the old place. There are evil forces attempting to drag you back into a place of control and confinement.
But The LORD says, “This is your time!”
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19
In prayer, I heard The LORD say, “Cut off the access points of the enemy”.
As I begin to pray, I saw Angels being sent out with those illuminated swords. In that moment, I felt divine protection in a way I have never experienced.
Immediately, Psalm 3:3 came to mind: “But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.”
As I begin to worship God, I heard The LORD say again, “Cut off the access points of the enemy!”
So I begin to war and decree that every access point be blocked and removed from the accuser’s sight.
As I prayed more intensely, I felt the resistance. Then, I remember the instruction that was given in my time of prayer hours prior. The instruction was: “Resist the enemy!”
I begin to travail in prayer and take stand in the gap for my region, I begin to declare a cease and desist.
I felt an immediate release. I can’t emphasize the immediately enough. That moment reminded me of of James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.
As you take dominion and advance, I urge you to use the authority that Jesus Christ as given you.
Legislate your advancement and resist the evil one. He will flee from you seven ways.
You are not asking the evil one for permission.
You are taking dominion by force.
Welcome to the place where everything is new! Congratulations!
Shalom,

The other night my husband and I were standing at our bedroom window looking out at the beauty of our backyard, when in strolled 2 foxes. Beautiful and delicate in manner. They remained for a while and then quickly jumped the fence like 2 ballerinas. Not sure what this meant but I knew the Lord was speaking to me. You have given me a glimpse of what He might have been saying.
Thank you Dr Evans, I pray that the holy spirit will guide me to block off any access points. I had an incident yesterday that made me check my heart again and again praying for an answer from the lord and came across your article. Thanks again for allowing the lord to use you to bless us.
Amen and Amed. Thankyou and Be blessed.
