The past few weeks there have been videos on Facebook of people praying all across the nations.

There are groups of people praying in the streets, groups of nurses and doctors praying in the hospitals and construction workers gathering together in prayer.

There are videos with inmates praying together in the prisons. There were even police and sheriffs with megaphones speaking to crowds and asking people to accept Jesus into their hearts.

We read throughout the Bible that every time The LORD was about to move in a mighty way He first called His people to repentance.

He said in 2 Chronicles 7:14,

“If My people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

In the book of Exodus the Israelites were slaves in Egypt under the ruler ship of Pharaoh. When Pharaoh wouldn’t let them leave, The LORD sent ten plagues to Egypt.

In the final plague, every firstborn son of Egypt died from the firstborn of Pharaoh and their firstborn animals, but not one Israelite or their animals died.

The LORD told Moses, “The reason Pharaoh did not listen to you is so that I could show My great power in Egypt.”

The LORD went before His people in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night to give them light. The Israelites were slaves in Egypt under Pharaohs leadership for 430 years.

When The LORD was leading them out, they were pursued by Pharaoh and his army at the Red Sea. The LORD sent a mighty East wind and used Moses rod to part the Red Sea for millions of Israelites to escape.

They went through on dry ground unscathed, but when Pharaoh and the Egyptian army along with their horses and chariots followed after them, The LORD closed the sea back up and they drowned.

He rained down bread (manna) and quail (meat) from heaven and provided water from a rock when they had no food or water. The LORD then told Moses to tell the people to sanctify themselves and wash their clothes.

There is so much prophetic symbolism in this scripture. The LORD is calling His People once again to repentance to bring in the great end time harvest.

He wants so move through us in great signs and wonders to demonstrate His power. He wants to place His anointing on us in the courts of Pharaoh.

He wants to use us to deliver His people out of Egypt which is symbolic of the world, the world systems and the sins of the world.

I believe that we are going to see a mass exodus of people coming out of spiritual Egypt, released from the kingdom of darkness, and delivered into the Kingdom of light.

When it seems like the enemy is gaining in on us, we will outwit him as we raise our rod of authority and watch the seas part before us.

After Moses had died The LORD called Joshua. He told Joshua, “No man will be able to stand against you, as I was with Moses, I will be with you”.

The LORD then called for a repentance again, telling Joshua to tell the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow The LORD will do wonders among you.”

We are about to cross over into a new season and The LORD is calling us to repentance once again remembering the very words of Jesus when said: “Repent, for The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

“Then The LORD said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,”” Exodus 19:10.

“And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow The LORD will do wonders among you,”” Joshua 3:5.

“My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

“From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand,”” Matthew 4:17.
