Repent and Rejoice to Receive the Release
The very first thing our LORD JESUS CHRIST commanded at the start of His Ministry was “Repent” (Mark 1:15).
And the very first thing He commanded when He rose from the dead was “Rejoice!” (Matthew 28:9).
Our lot is to always repent and rejoice to receive from GOD. This we must believe and obey.
By The Grace of GOD, the most important and common words on my lips daily are “LORD, THANK YOU. Oh LORD, THANK YOU!” (“in everything” and “for all things” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18; Ephesians 5:20) and “LORD, forgive me” (in repentance for even the least incident of unrighteousness of my thoughts, speech, and actions/ inactions).
This is all Scriptural and HOLY SPIRIT-led.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and The Truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10.
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that Times of Refreshing may come from The Presence of THE LORD, and that He may send JESUS CHRIST, Who was preached to you before, whom Heaven must receive until The Times of Restoration of all things, which GOD has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” Acts 3:19-21.
Repentance removes sins and attracts Times of Refreshing (Glory, blessings) from The Presence of THE LORD.
Repentance removes sin and brings JESUS CHRIST on the scene.
We must repent for our personal, parental and ancestral sins, and the sins of other people, as led by THE HOLY SPIRIT — including even the sins of our nations, as Daniel did. (Please see Daniel 9).
I have been experiencing this central Truth of The Gospel with spectacular results for some years now.
Last month, a Christian lady (whom I didn’t know previously) was brought to me by another sister. The lady had serious debilitating problems with her liver and other major internal organs of her body. According to her, she had sought and received various treatments but to no avail.
She was having many health complications.
The first thing I asked her was if she had any sin(s) in her life. She didn’t hesitate at all to confess.
Bitterness, unforgiveness, strife, etc. against her ex-husband who left her for another woman, some of her siblings, and so on.
“You must forgive them, otherwise you won’t be healed,” I said with insight and uncompromising authority.
She took a deep breath, had a momentary difficulty with obeying, but then almost immediately changed her mind and said, “Okay”.
With that, she cleared her health hurdles out of the way for The Power of CHRIST to flow and heal her.
And so I prayed for her as given Utterance by THE HOLY SPIRIT.
As she testified, The Power of CHRIST coursed through her members, and she was immediately HEALED!
Hallelu-YAH! Hallelu-YAH to THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
Repentance releases deliverance and healing from all the oppression of the devil:
“So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.” Mark 6:12-13 emphasis added.
As emphasised in bold in this Scripture, the disciples first preached repentance to the people before they could cast demons out of them and heal them.
Take note of the coordinating conjunction “And“; for it connects the two clauses to signify that repentance makes way for deliverance and healing.
Repentance is a Divine Treasure with the value of Eternal Life. Without repentance, there is no forgiveness of sins!
Repentance is key to accessing The Goodness of GOD.
A personal testimony….
As according to Philippians 4:6-7, I had brought a matter to THE LORD in recent days that needed to be urgently resolved by Him.
Having had a very exhausting couple of weeks, I took a nap last Sabbath in the afternoon. When I woke up, the first thoughts that came to me was to repent to THE LORD — in case my speech to Him about the matter may have been in a manner that displeased Him. “Just in case….,” I thought.
By The Power of THE HOLY SPIRIT, I recalled vasrious repent and rejoice revelations and prophetic Words THE LORD has been giving me over the years.
I went on my knees and repented from the depth of my heart. And then I started hopping and jumping for joy — rejoicing! I was prancing and praising GOD in whatever space I could find in the house.
Meanwhile, a consignment of indispensable importance (not related to the above matter) was to be brought to me the previous day. It was with all assurance and certainty.
I waited and waited and waited. It was a “no show”.
Rejoice to receive the release — even DOUBLE!
“It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24.
Surprisingly, my consignment was delivered the very time I was rejoicing and praising GOD, thanking THE LORD regarding the other matter!
And guess what? It was double the amount I was expecting.
Joy and rejoicing moves GOD to do miracles for His Children — beyond expectation.
In 2 Chronicles 20, when King Jehoshaphat and his people were facing trouble on every side, besieged and hemmed in by menacing armies, what was THE LORD OF HOST’s military instructions to them? Calm down and just praise and worship Me. And I’ll take care of the situation.
When they did as instructed by THE LORD, King Jehoshaphat, all of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem had a most spectacular military victory in the history of man.
They didn’t use sophisticated F-16 fighter aircraft or Northrop Grumman B-2 (stealth bombers) or Boeing B-52 Stratofortress bombers. No laser-guided missiles were launched from massive aircraft carriers perched on the ocean.
Praise and worship easily did what the most advanced military might and mastery could never have done.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in GOD. Hallelu-YAH!
Therefore, as THE LORD JESUS said when He rose from the dead, REJOICE!
“Rejoice in THE LORD always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4.
Rejoice and be glad!
“Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in THE LORD your GOD; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you — The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. “ So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My Great Army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise The NAME of THE LORD your GOD, Who has dealt wondrously with you; and My People shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I AM in the midst of Israel: I AM THE LORD your GOD and there is no other. My People shall never be put to shame.” Joel 2:23-27.
“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs.” Isaiah 61:7.
Violently remove hindrances by the liar and his lies
After the delivery (of my aforementioned consignment), the young man, unprompted, told me something that I discerned is loaded with Spiritual teaching. It was orchestrated by THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The lad said that he wanted to come the previous day as I had requested but was erroneously told that my order/request had already been fulfilled!
My mouth was agape. The statement left me aghast.
There was I waiting for my consignment. And, indeed, it was about to be delivered. But a lie (although unintended) had prevented the delivery!
One little misinformation (although without ill-motive) delayed my blessing from reaching me.
Imagine then what the devil’s lies do. Daily.
Thoughts of anxiety, doubt, compromise, fear, unbelief, etc. are the lies of the devil to plunder you of your blessing from GOD.
Don’t entertain any such thoughts to deprive yourself of GOD’s blessing: “Maybe GOD won’t help me.” “Maybe GOD won’t heal me.” “I just have to live with it.”
Immediately after the young man left, and I shut the door behind me, I launched into FERVENT thanksgiving, that not only were my consignments now delivered, but, as I mentioned above, it was double the number I had requested. It was truly a super-abundance I needed!
But the whole thing got me thinking. Both the delay and the super-abundance delivery constitute a GREAT Spiritual metaphor of our warfare now, how our GOD is moving in this hour and what He is doing for us in this season – exceedingly abundantly above what we ask or think, (Ephesians 3:20).
We must elect to repent daily, rejoicing always. We must ask to be “filled with joy and with THE HOLY SPIRIT.” (Acts 13:52).
Clear the liar and his lies out of the way of the super-abundance!
In my testimony above, it was a misinformation, yes, a lie that prevented the original attempt to dispatch and deliver my consignment to me. But when it did arrive eventually, it was double.
THE HOLY SPIRIT indicating this: that we must pray and clear the liar and his lies out of the way of what He is doing for us right now – to receive answered prayer; to possess The Kingdom super-abundantly.
Remember what happened to Daniel’s answered prayer? His answer was dispatched the very first day he prayed, but it was intercepted by the liar and father of lies: the devil.
He still does that today — even more violently. (Because he knows he WILL soon be bound and bundled into The Lake of Fire and Brimstone, and be tormented forever and ever. GLORY to GOD!).
Therefore, as I shared in a recent Word “The New Beginning: Removing All Blockages And Delays!“, we must contend in prayer for the manifestation.
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself said: “And from the days of John the Baptist until now The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force…“ (Matthew 11:12)
We must apply Kingdom Force to take it.
Let us pray The flaming and consuming Fire of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, yes, His FIERY indignation to devour and destroy the adversary — the sinful and fallen covering cherub, out of the way.
If wildfires fires are so devastating, imagine GOD’s Fire engulfing and devouring the devil when you pray so!
Therefore, let us pray The Hail, Fire and Blood of THE LORD — “Hail and Fire… mingled with Blood” (Revelation 8:7) to devour and destroy the wicked one out of the way of GOD’s Blessings to us.
Let us pray THE BLOOD OF CHRIST and THE POWER OF CHRIST to clear Satan out of the way.
Let us pray THE LORD’s FIERCE, GREAT and STRONG Sword (Isaiah 27:1) to strike and devour Leviathan out of the way!
Let us pray THE LORD to place cherubim and The Flaming Sword of GOD which turns every way (Genesis 3:24) to guard our blessings, their way and delivery to us.
With thanksgiving, pray:
“In The Name of JESUS CHRIST, I ask You LORD The Breaker and The Way-Maker to breakthrough for me, make the way for me.
LORD, remove all blockages and unnecessary delays out of the way for me, and let what You have promised me manifest swiftly.
LORD, go over before me as The Consuming Fire to burn up the enemy out of the way for me.
Send Your Holy Angels to remove all blockages and unnecessary delays out of the way for me.
And let Your Release flow from The Throne of GOD into my hand right now by The Power of CHRIST!
In JESUS’ Name, I command all blockages and unnecessary delays removed out of the way by THE BLOOD OF JESUS!
THANK YOU LORD! Amen.”
Furthermore, you can also use the teaching and prayers below, adaptable for any situation.
- In everything thank GOD THE FATHER and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST for their Grace, Mercy and Peace.
- Repent for your personal, parental and ancestral sins regarding any oppression of the devil.
- Then ask THE FATHER to let THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST His SON make atonement (covering) for your soul and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (Leviticus 17:11; 1 John 1:7-10).
- Ask THE FATHER to redeem, release, set you free and purify you by THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST from all curses and consequences of the sins.
- THANK GOD for His forgiveness and deliverance.
Below is how you can pray in every situation of oppression of the devil you discern (anything going wrong, any evil thing revealed to you by THE HOLY SPIRIT — including through dreams and visions):
Prayer of Repentance and Deliverance by the Blood of Jesus:
“In JESUS’ NAME, I THANK YOU GOD THE FATHER and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST for Your Grace, Mercy and Peace.
FATHER, I repent for my sins, the sins of my parents, the sins of my ancestors and other people that are causing this situation/ oppression/ problem (—mention the problem—).
FATHER, let THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST Your SON make atonement for my soul and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
FATHER, by THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST Your SON, redeem, release, set me free and purify me from all yokes, strongholds, soul ties, sins, shame, schemes, pursuits, persecutions, hindrances, harassments, fellowships, distractions, disguises, devices, detours, desires, demons, demands, delays, defilements, death, curses, covenants, contracts, consequences, communions, claims, captivities, bondages, agreements and accords of… (—mention the problem—).
Oh, RIGHTEOUS FATHER! I THANK You for your Forgiveness, Salvation and Deliverance! Amen.
In JESUS’ NAME, through THE BLOOD OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT, LORD, help me to retrieve all my blessings stolen by the devil the thief.
Our ADVOCATE WITH THE FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS, I ask YOU to make the case for me before GOD THE JUDGE OF ALL for the IMMEDIATE and ETERNAL seven-fold restoration of all that the devil the thief has stolen from me all the way to Adam. THANK YOU LORD! Amen.
Now, in THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, Satan, I command you the devil the thief to restore to me seven-fold all that you stole from me — all the way to Adam, and give up all the substance of your house through THE BLOOD OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT!
And, it is written, ‘Let him who stole steal no longer.’ (Ephesians 4:28). Therefore, in THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I command you to steal NO LONGER! By THE BLOOD OF JESUS, I forbid you to come to steal, kill and destroy!”
I put you under oath by THE LIVING GOD; I charge you before GOD and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality. (Matthew 26:63; 1 Timothy 5:21).
Thank YOU LORD JESUS!”
Expect double!
It is a phenomenon one knows all too well of London’s bus services — so much so that, it has even become a popular saying in the city: “You wait ages for a bus…. and then two come along at once.”
Having waited for ages for the promises, now we get double!
Amen.
