Render Your Hearts
Don’t forsake the beauty of rending your hearts.
The Prophet Joel in Joel 2:12-13 decreed that it was the will of The LORD for the people to rend their hearts.
““Now, therefore,” says The LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to The LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm” Joel 2:12-13
In other words, the prophet urged Judah to repent with a sincere change of heart and not just a verbal expression with no intentionality.
I heard The LORD say, “I AM calling My People into a time of surrender. As they render their hearts — they will ascend! Get ready!.”
This is a call to action as well as a general requirement for us to ascend to the heavenly place.
The days of bribing prideful leaders with lust, money, and power for preaching engagements, platforms, and influence are waning.
The LORD is resetting the order and positioning the ones he has anointed to sit at the table.
Rending Our Hearts
The Hebrew custom of tearing one’s clothing was usually an expression of grief, terror, or horror. Moreover, we should be grief-stricken and horrified when we sin against his holiness.
Yet, many of us shrug off sin like we swat flying insects. The blatant acceptance of sin has swept through the land like a contagion, but The LORD has not changed his statues to fit our wayward minds.
As I began to worship before The LORD, I felt the weight of his glory. I began to to just weep and declare, “You alone are God”.
I feel the urgency to decree and reinforce that God is sovereign. No one can take him off of his throne. Whenever God acts, he acts in a way that pleases him, not man.
God is never constrained to do a thing that he despises. He cannot be manipulated. He cannot be bribed. He is never backed into a corner where his only choice is to do something he hates to do.
He does whatever he pleases when he pleases — and one day, every knee shall bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Every Muslim’s knee.
Every Shaman’s knee.
Every thief’s knee.
Every witchcraft practitioner’s knee.
Every false prophet’s knee.
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW.
We, as the body of Christ, have become passive concerning sin. Making excuses because of tendency to people please.
We have made a practice of reasoning with sin instead of killing our flesh and following the commands of The LORD.
We have desecrated edifices that have been dedicated to The LORD and then we blindly defend it’s desecration with the misuse of scripture and religious iterations.
We’ve been willingly led by own distractions, and not The Holy Spirit.
Pride has clouded our judgment and we’ve resorted to worshipping our preferences rather than Yahweh.
Therefore, it’s not just a good idea to rend our hearts, it’s a command from the courts of heaven. Yahweh is calling us to repentance.
“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:8-11
The Hindrance of Pride
Pride is always followed by disgrace and dishonor.
While God may allow us for a time to live out the false reality that we are captains of our own universe, eventually, the truth is made known: we are not in control.
The kingdom of pride will present itself a major stronghold in the days of come. The very elect will be deceived by their own pride and turn to teachings that tickle their fancy.
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2
“Before destruction a man’s heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.” Proverbs 18:12
“One’s pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.” Proverbs 29:23
Many leaders from the seven mountains of influence have build themselves up in their flesh by thinking their intelligence and connections to powerful people have given them prominence.
This is a complete lie and we will bear witness to the fall of many reigns of leadership due to it. We will see esteemed members of clergy turn away from the faith to embrace gnostic teachings and freemasonry.
In an open vision, I saw men dressed in ecclesiastical attire, but the garments were all black. They walked through dark hallways whispering words I could not understand.
There are dark allegiances being made in the dark for land, buildings, and prominence. Don’t be mistaken, pride is the root of this. Choose your company wisely.
Be reminded, exposure isn’t just happening in the house of God, exposure is a cloud hovering over every mountain of influence.
As much as we may be inclined to point fingers and heckle, we, as believers, are not immune to exposure and accusation.
Don’t forsake the call to be holy and righteous before our almighty God. Choose humility over self-righteousness and walk in The Fear of The LORD.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:5-7
“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:11-14
Set your gaze on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of our faith. Look unto Jesus and live.
“I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.” Revelation 1:12-16
