For the past several years, God has visited me during the Days of Awe (a special Jewish time to specifically focus on God and the coming year) that takes place from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur. This year I was expecting a gift from God, such as a visitation or a strong spiritual experience. Nothing happened all the way up to the last day, Yom Kippur (Saturday, September 14), but then God came through and I had the most amazing experience of breakthrough.

Intense resistance

My wife and I relocated back to Los Angeles ( our office is still in Santa Maria, California) and we have had some of the most intense warfare and resistance ever. We decided to step up our intercession in new ways and honestly, it is what has gotten us through this rocky time of transition.

Breakthrough experience

On Yom Kippur I was engaging in some pretty intense prayer and at one point we had a breakthrough to a new level in the Heavenly realm. God began to speak to me at a deeper level that has not stopped flowing for over a week. As we enter new territory there are often “giants in the land” that need to be dealt with.

September 25

For the past few months God has been speaking to me about September 25th being a significant time. It will be a turning or tipping point in the spiritual realm. Things that God has promised will begin to take greater shape.

Release of house arrest

One thing I saw is that many people have been under what we in the U.S. refer to as house arrest. This is where a person who has been accused or charged with a crime is held until they go to trial. They may have to wear an ankle bracelet or have other restrictions that limit their ability to leave their house, or wander too far from it.

God showed me that some (not all) people have been limited by the accusations (judgment) of others and that God is releasing them from a “house (of God) arrest” in which we’ve had limited mobility based on the accusations of others. God is removing restrictions right now and there is a new freedom for those who have been waiting to be released by God to make changes and advance to new levels.

New Jersey is a key to New York

I saw a map of the East Coast of the U.S. and God spoke to me that New Jersey will be a key to bringing New York to its full potential in God. There will be outbreaks of God’s power and supernatural encounters throughout New Jersey and New York, and it will be seen in pockets here and there. One of the things that will need to happen is for the spirit of control to be removed so that God can do a totally new thing on the east coast that will ultimately affect the entire nation and beyond.

Dream about history

One of my intercessors had a dream that she was back in school and was having to take history class over again. This is a time to learn from the past but don’t let the past hold you back.

God showed me a prophetic picture from the movie Man of Steel of Superman being held back. He was from the planet Krypton that was destroyed just as he was sent to earth. Though Superman had supernatural power, his battles came by way of fragments from Krypton that caused him to lose his power and strength. Even though the place where he came from had been destroyed, the enemy still used fragments of the past to try to hold him down.

It is time to take greater authority over the things of our past and not allow the enemy to use it to derail us in the present.

Time of total release

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

God is releasing to us all a new way to operate because the old has gone. So things feel awkward right now for many people. Expect to see major changes over the next few months.

Geographic location is crucial

God showed me that it is time to get aligned for the new time. There will be a lot of movement, relocation, job changes etc. over the next few months. It is important to be geographically positioned. Listen to God speak to you and follow peace in your heart about this.

During the months of October through December, things will become easier. I had a visitation from Jesus on August 2nd and He emphasized two things: the door to the past has been closed and sealed and the new season we are moving into will be one of rest. That means getting more done with less effort.

It is going to be worth it for those who have suffered. Don’t give up!
