Relationship with Christ Jesus
The greatest thing I have grown to love and appreciate is my relationship with Christ.
The greatest investment one will ever make in this life is a spiritual investment.
The stronger your foundation in Christ, the least likely you fall. The LORD sets the standard and the foundation in the Book of Genesis by what He created.
If we look carefully we will see that man was the first being God created. Genesis 2:7 says “And The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
For man to live or become a living being God had to breathe life into man. If God does not breathe life into man He will not have life.
There are some men who may be alive physically but it does not mean they are alive spiritually. A man becomes a living being when God breathes upon Him.
This breath that God breathes upon a man is one which enlarges the capacity of a man to not only function physically but spiritually.
This spiritual activation will change him into a new man which will transform his life and increase his number of years. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Man lives unfulfilled lives when they have not been spiritually activated. They may live but will never feel fulfilled until they have been activated spiritually by the breath of the Holy Spirit.
After God breathes life into man, man will be able to find their purpose and begin to labor.
Genesis 2:15 says “Then The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.”
Before Adam came in contact with Eve God had to first work on Adam to be whole (spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, financially etc.).
He had to build a relationship with Adam and then provided Him with a job.
After God worked on Adam to be whole and provided him a job he was still feeling unfulfilled. What Adam needed was a helpmeet and so God created woman, Eve.
Intimacy and a relationship with God were needed for Adam’s leading and direction.
Without having a relationship with God it would not have been possible for Adam to find a job and locate his wife Eve.
Had God not created man woman would be nonexistent. Woman was taken from the rib of a man because they were created to be one.
Hence the reason God says “a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
Adam’s relationship with God is what increased him. It is what afforded him the capacity to walk in abundance and overflow.
When you put Jesus Christ first and allow Him to lead, you will make it through.
Even when you fall or mess up He will always work it together for your good.
Proverbs 24:16 says “for a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again but the wicked shall fall by calamity.”
Living for Christ does not mean things will never go wrong, in fact it will but when you are depending on The LORD He will lead and guide you no matter what you face or go through.
No matter what the enemy brings your way if you depend on Christ He promises to lead and direct our steps.
When it comes to Christ it is a matter of obedience, the state of the heart and humility.
Your relationship with God serves as a defense and sets the standard from which you should live your life.
When you have Jesus Christ with you, you are guaranteed security. He will give and lead you to the best.
I want to encourage the men to serve and commit to Jesus Christ and allow The LORD to activate their spiritual man.
For those who have allowed their spirit man to be activated I encourage you to wait on The LORD and allow Him to lead you.
God will come through, trust Him. For those of the women who have not committed to Christ it is your duty to get in position, commit and serve The LORD.
Allow The LORD to work on you and as He sees fit He will lead the one He has for you to you.
Have a blessed day!
Trust
God knows whether He can trust you or not.
The test and fire you are in is not for Him but it is for you to know whether you can trust yourself or not.
If you cannot trust yourself it would be very hard for you to stand and operate in something God trusts you with…
Have you ever seen someone you consider to be “beautiful” or “handsome” but because of their perception of themselves they can never accept or believe they are really beautiful or “handsome”?
You see no matter what someone says to you or about you if you never believe it for yourself, what they say will never matter to you.
God is allowing the fire and the test because He has to show and prove to you that you are what He says you are regardless of what you or others believe or accept about you.
Whose report will you believe?
Will you believe what the enemy says or will you believe what God says about you?
Faith
Your faith in God is not developed by what you know. Your faith in God is developed by trusting Him to take you through what you do not know.
It is having the courage to walk through the uncertainty. It is having the courage to walk through the impossibility to get to the possibility.
It is being determined to see and believe what God says regardless of what the devil says or presents.
Always remember visibility is limited. There is more beyond what you see.
We often tend to settle for what we can see based on our limited understanding and trust in God.
However we can trust in God to take us beyond what we do not see. The attack is not on what we see but it is on what we do not see.
The enemy is not fighting you because of what you can see but the enemy fights you because he fears you will develop the courage to believe God for what you do not see.
Believing God is one thing, but trusting Him to take you through is another thing.
The real test of your faith is believing Him to take you through what you do not see and cannot understand.
I want to encourage you this afternoon to not allow the enemy to rob you of believing God for what He spoke to you.
Just because your situation looks nothing like what He said it would, it does not mean He is not working on your behalf. Have the faith to believe God’s word for your life regardless of what you may face or who may come against you.
The God who spoke it will see you through it.
