Recognizing the truth in the Last Days
“Besides this you know what hour it is, how it is full time now for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed; the night is far gone, the day is at hand. Let us then cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light; let us conduct ourselves becomingly as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires,”
Romans 13:11-14.
The following scripture is more true in this hour, than any hour of the church.
“They’re a sorry bunch – pseudo-apostles, lying preachers, crooked workers – posing as Christ’s agents but sham to the core. And no wonder! Satan does it all the time, dressing up as a beautiful angel of light. So it shouldn’t surprise us when his servants masquerade as servants of God. But they’re not getting by with anything. They’ll pay for it in the end,” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 MSG.
Saints, these truly are the last days and the most perilous of times and we are commanded to turn from those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away,” 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
“My brothers, do not have the faith of our Lord Christ, the Lord of glory, with respecter of faces. For if there comes a gold-fingered man in fancy clothing into your assembly, and if there also comes in a poor man in shabby clothing, and if you have respect to him who has the fancy clothing and say to him, You sit here in a good place, and say to the poor, You stand there, or sit here under my footstool; Did you not make a difference among yourselves and became judges with evil thoughts?
Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith and heirs of the Kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?
But you dishonored the poor one. Do not rich men oppress you and draw you before the judgment seats? Do they not blaspheme that worthy Name by which you are called?” James 2:1-7.
The true Gospel and its message is without price or money. If you have to pay for it, it is a message coming from a deceitful worker of iniquity. The ways of merchandising are not God’s ways.
it is time to repent and return to His ways.
“Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat. Yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Why do you weigh silver for what is not bread? and your labor for what never satisfies? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Bow down your ear, and come to Me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Behold, I have given Him for a witness to the people, a Leader and Commander of peoples.
Behold, You shall call a nation that You do not know; a nation that did not know You shall run to You because of the LORD Your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified You.
Seek the LORD while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts,” Isaiah 55:1-9 MKJV.
A false gospel has overtaken the earth like cancer, teaching people that God wouldn’t have them suffer in any way, but would see to it that they are rich in the physical things and comforts of this world. These are “men whose minds have been corrupted and deprived of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness.” The apostle says, “Withdraw from such,” (1 Timothy 6:5). Come and hear the true and profitable way of Christ.
Any love message preached that does not teach to obey what Jesus has commanded is false.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you,” John 15:12-14 MKJV.
