All believers who are saved, receive The Holy Spirit indwelling at the time of being ‘Born Again’.

So, all have The Holy Spirit living inside who are saved.

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory,” Ephesians 1:13-14.

This above verse teaches that every born again person has been given The Holy Spirit to live within them.

This is only the indwelling, the down payment to eternal salvation. If you are saved, you have The Holy Spirit.

But…. there is more!

All believers do not have automatically The Baptism with The Holy Spirit… The reason why ,is because it must be received after salvation. There are many illustrations of this in the scriptures.

See:

“Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received The Word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John….
….. who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive The Holy Ghost: (for as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of The LORD Jesus)
then laid they their hands on them, and they received The Holy Ghost,” Acts 8:4,15-17.

In the above Acts 8 verses, we discover that the many people had been saved and even water baptized, but they had not received The Power of The Holy Spirit. This power was given to them later, by the laying on of hands of the apostles.

The Baptism with The Holy Spirit is more. It “follows salvation ” and gives all those who receive the power to be witnesses.

“But ye shall receive power, after that The Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth,” Acts 1:8.

The receiving of power Jesus talked about, came to the early disciples — after they were given the indwelling of The Holy Spirit.

He said: I will give you more! And the more will be for power to witness….

Many have gone out without this power. They are saved, but they have not received all they need.

Many people who are saved today have been taught things that are not true about The Baptism with The Holy Spirit. I was one of them.

I did go out and preach and pastor for 23 years and then had trouble for another 10 years, but I was saved.

I found out that I had been taught wrongly about the baptism in the Church school I attended… And I was led away by preachers who preached that The Baptism was not for today. For they said, a person receives all he needs at salvation.

It was not true.

I had to receive The Baptism with The Holy Spirit after many years of ministry. It changed my life and ministry, for sure. I am not the same, not more saved, but I have more Power and I have Gifts [like tongues] which I did not have before.

I am not saying one must have The Baptism with The Holy Spirit and talk in tongues to be….’Saved’. No no no no!!!

But what I am saying, is many have missed the truth and have not received all that The LORD wants them to receive.

Those who do not have The Baptism will not be lost, but hurt in ministry and their life of service and personal power.

I myself did miss it and for many years I tried to do all — but was not fully able. In 1999 in the desert, God spoke to me outright and told me what I did not know: I needed The Baptism with The Holy Spirit.

I testify to you, I did receive it after many years of ministry!

LORD, help many who do not understand, begin now to seek for and ask for this Baptism with The Holy Spirit.

May they receive what they have not received, and by Faith, know it and experience it.
