Real Women Wear Honor
“Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king,” 1 Peter 2:17.
There is a story in the Bible about two women Vashti and Esther, who both had the opportunity to be the Queen of the Persian Empire and one dishonored the King by refusing to show up at His banquet and the other learned to honor the King even though he was a heathen King and became Queen instead of Vashti.
This in-turn gave Esther the opportunity to save her people the Jews alive so that some day the Messiah of the world would come through them.
Dishonor is Really Really Ugly!
Dishonor is about one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. It is ugly on men, women and children and truly it is most ugly on people in authority.
To me, it is a sign of immaturity and rebellion! Have you ever seen people who dishonor others in front of others! I t is quite embarrassing to those observing! Like watching a child dishonoring their parents or a woman dishonoring her husband or visa versa or maybe your country’s citizens dishonoring their king or president!
It just makes you cringe, if there is any honor in you at all! I believe Heaven’s atmosphere will be honor toward God and honor toward one another.
How Do I Do That?
You might say… How do I do that, when I have nothing to honor them for?
I hear the LORD saying, “Whatever is good, lovely, and a good report…. think on these things!
Then point those good things out to that person! You will soon see them begin to change!”
It is time to grow up and give honor to all that you see! Stop thinking and saying all of the negative and speak words of encouragement and then….. BE CLOTHED IN HONOR!!
“Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness,” Proverbs 31:25-26.
Honor is a Seed That Brings a Harvest of Honor
Women, if you truly want someone to cherish and respect you, if you want them to Honor you, then honor them as a seed!
I believe you will get more what you want back like that than dishonoring them! I believe, that we Christian women are living in a day that we must show the world what a true woman of God is to look like and truly she is clothed in honor!
Let’s not join those who are living in dishonor toward their husbands, children, government, and churches.
Let’s join together and truly be like Esther on this time of Purim.
Let us win America by honoring and respecting them, one person at a time!
Let’s honor all of those which we love because, if we don’t…nobody else will.
If we do not honor our President right now, we are cutting off our nose to spite our face!
We have to live here and if we want others to honor America we have to also! You are called to honor for such a time as this!
The Life of a Prophet
There are times in the life of a prophet when it is just them and God and no one else can give them answers….
This is not time for others to judge the process that He is taking them through.
When everyone thought that Jesus was being punished for His sins, He was just fulfilling His destiny!
Sometimes what looks like demotion is only a promotion to a platform of fulfilling your destiny!
“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed,” Isaiah 53:3-5.
