What the Lord is Saying Today – October 2012
October 30, 2012. Remember the times you were distressed and needed the Lord? Can you now rejoice that He answered your cry for help? You may recall in one of those times, how you despaired almost life itself. But now you look back over all those events and circumstances with deep gratitude. It is in such times that you have grown the most. Much of the wisdom and understanding you have today was hammered out as on an anvil during those trying times. So today, if you are looking at some current situation and have tended to get downcast, don’t do it. Remember the good and declare the victory whether or not you can see it or feel it right now. God has not and will never leave you. He is like the hound of heaven looking for you so He can bless and make all things better.
Psalm 30:1-2 (KJV) “I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.” Ras Robinson
October 30, 2012. It doesn’t matter if what you are regularly doing is interrupted for a while. Don’t let it shake you. This is good for you. It causes Me to be more front and center in your mind and activities, as to what you need to be thinking and doing. It is during these times that you learn more about Me. I am refining you like silver is refined. I am removing bits of dross out of your life. You have more opportunities to trust and see that I am good. Work with Me to have more purity of character. Don’t resist. Precious one, get in on what I am doing. Peace!
Psalms 18:30 (AMP) “As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him.” Bev Robinson
October 30, 2012. There is so much filth filling the air waves round about you. Falsehood, gossip, backstabbing, all seem to be commonplace throughout the media and even in the church. Let no sign of warring be found among you. The onslaught from Satan is relentless. You don’t need to add to his barrage in any form or fashion. Be a game changer. Speak peace, warmth and kindness to one another. God calls you His friend, just like He called Abraham His friend. Show yourself friendly at all times whether you are at home or abroad. Search for and find My pleasantness and harmony surrounding you. Walk in My warmth toward one another.
3 John 1:13-15 (NLT) “I have much more to say to you, but I don’t want to write it with pen and ink. For I hope to see you soon, and then we will talk face to face. Peace be with you. Your friends here send you their greetings. Please give my personal greetings to each of our friends there.” Kevin Robinson
October 28, 2012. Heartbreaks come in all sizes and shapes. Mine broke yesterday after an FCM staff meeting. I was forwarded an email from one of our pastors who ministers to children and parents, living in dire conditions at a massive garbage dump. This pastor has the compassion of Jesus in all she does. She has started churches and worked with us for several years to care for FCM sponsored children. In the e-mail, she wrote concerning the families at the garbage dump, “It breaks my heart when one time a mother said to me ‘Can we also eat?’ I replied ‘If there is extra after (feeding) our kids.’ Then there was extra !!! the mothers and few fathers ran to the “BIG POT” of rice pudding.” God has impressed us to believe for support for this pastor and for sponsoring many of the children she feeds. Pray and believe with me.
1 John 3:17 (NASB) “But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?” Ras Robinson
October 28, 2012. You’ve been thinking you don’t know how to hear Me. I’ve heard that question in your mind. You DO know how to hear Me. Who do you think led you to read what you are now reading? I talk to you all the time but you think it is your voice. Most of what you hear appears mundane. It isn’t but you are accustomed to hearing just for the small things. Satan also speaks things to get you out of faith. Start consciously listening to Me. I am there all the time. Start being aware of Me. I love our intimacy. Listen and obey. I will direct you into greater things.
John 10:27-28 (AMP) “The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand.” Bev Robinson
October 28, 2012. You’re a producer. The words you choose are either producing life or death. Be decisive, using only words which build up and encourage those around you. The easy road is to think on negative things around you. People’s shortcomings are easy to spot because you have similar deficiencies yourself. Instead of focusing on the faults of other like you yourself have, make the pivotal move to speak life, light, and liberty about yourself and those around you. Challenge yourself to be creative with words you use which bring into being good fruit. Your words can be like Mine. Intermingle My word with your words creatively. Always choose to let your words be productive.
Isaiah 55:10-11 (NLT) “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Kevin Robinson
October 27, 2012. You make Me happy with your faith. I am pleased that you are not fearful. Long ago, you discovered that I serve you as your Father who is always on duty to protect you. I remember that there was a time, earlier in your life, when you were fearful of the dark. You also had a fear of ghosts. But when you found the truth, you left your fears behind. I am the source of your protection from all danger. You tremble and are troubled no more. This is good. Now, My child, come and dine with Me at My table. Allow Me to wrap you in My arms of love as a mother does her child and a father does his children.
Psalm 27:1 (NLT) “The LORD is my light and my salvation- so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?” Ras Robinson
October 27, 2012. What you had planned did not work. Don’t let it get you down. Gather yourself together and put the loss behind you. I know it took time but your planning will not go to waste. You will learn from the time you spent and the plans you made. Now turn to something else. I’ll show you what to do. This will turn out better than what you first planned. You will not be sorry that the first plans failed. You will be greatly surprised and will be glad you didn’t spend time being depressed over what didn’t work. I have better things ahead for you than what you thought would happen.
Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Bev Robinson
October 27, 2012. Can you see My sovereignty in all things or just some things? You have been struggling to see that I cause all things to work together for good to those who are called by Me. Step back from the sensitive situation you’re in and see what I AM trying to accomplish. Sometimes life just isn’t fair. Nevertheless, find something good you can focus your attention on. I AM not out to “get” you in a negative way. I have had your best interests in mind from the very beginning. Yield to My way of doing things. When in doubt, return to the place where you last heard Me clearly and succinctly.
Matthew 11:28 (AMP) “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]” Kevin Robinson
October 26, 2012. You are bringing me great pleasure. There is no one on the earth more special to Me than you. You are unique among My children. I want you to know and fully realize just how priceless you are to Me. I created and fashioned you to suit Myself. This would explain why I so enjoy your presence with Me. You seek My presence but at the same time I am seeking yours. You are in fact my good friend just like Abraham and David. We walk together and fellowship with each other in secret places we both have selected. I so look forward to the times when we pray together. I want you reproduced in many others. That is the heart of My Gospel. Preach it with your life with demonstrated righteousness.
Genesis 5:1-2 (NLT) “This is the written account of the descendants of Adam. When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself. He created them male and female, and he blessed them and called them “human.” Ras Robinson
October 26, 2012. No one else knows about what you are presently thinking and enjoying. You know it is not negative, shameful or disgraceful in any way. It’s all simple and good. There is nothing wrong with no one knowing; in fact it is right that no one knows but us. It’s something just between the two of us. You talk things over with Me in your mind and I bring things up and also respond to you in your mind. There needs to be more things just between the two of us. Living this way causes intimacy and that is the way it is with close friends. Let us keep it this way.
John 15:15 (AMP) “I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing (working out). But I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.]” Bev Robinson
October 26, 2012. You have heard specifically what you are supposed to do. Without hesitation get up and get moving toward what I have said. In the past, you have given excuse after excuse why you couldn’t, wouldn’t or even have the slightest inclination to see something come about. Much like Abraham, you need to put your complete trust in Me. Make the most of the time you have been given. I have all of the necessary preparations ready for the upcoming passage. Move with conviction toward what I’ve already instructed. Once you have taken the initial step, you’ll find future steps easier to take. Make the climb.
James 2:23-26 (NKJV) “And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” Kevin Robinson
October 25, 2012. Your world seems to be falling apart. Serious attacks have come from the world, flesh and the devil. You have left open some doors I use to protect you from the attacks, schemes and ploys of the devil. Now you are perplexed and seem weakened and hopeless at the strength of the stronghold developed to hold you away from Me . I say unto you, repent methodically one area at a time. Ask Holy Spirit to fill the voids in your soul left by the demonic activity in which you have become entangled. You knew this was coming, didn’t you? You are well grounded in My word from your youth and know better. Still you have played with fire and now you are burned. Seek wise counsel and humble yourself under the mighty hand of God.
James 3:14-17 (MSG) “Mean-spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom. It’s the furthest thing from wisdom-it’s animal cunning, devilish conniving. Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats. Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced.” Ras Robinson
October 25, 2012. While on earth I kept My eyes, ears and all My senses turned toward My Father to see and hear what He was doing and I did that. But I was also always aware of what Satan was up to. Satan would like for you to believe he is the main character in the Scriptures, and he is one but he has always wanted to be equal with God. I publicly defeated him at the cross. He is a defeated foe. I have nailed your sin to the cross. Don’t keep your mind on him with what is wrong. Keep your mind on Me with what is right. Focus on Me.
Colossians 2:14-15 (NLT) He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.” Bev Robinson
October 25, 2012. No matter what, keep your face turned toward Me. Quite often individuals go astray from Me because something they were believing Me for did not come to pass. I AM the one who knows the best outcome for you. Nevertheless, continue placing your faith, hope and trust in Me. Many have been standing in faith believing for people to come to know Me as Savior, or for provision, healing, deliverance, etc. Don’t ever give up praying to Me for what you are standing for unless I’ve given a firm answer otherwise. Apply all diligence toward Me and My Lordship. Continue to stand in faith believing.
Matthew 6:33 (AMP) “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” Kevin Robinson
October 24, 2012. When the house of God, the church, and the earthly house, the family, are built upon good foundations, there is peace and joy. Wisdom is the solid rock upon which life is safe and secure. Understanding comes from being baptized in wisdom and knowledge in everyday living. Knowledge fills the soul with the essence from the heart of the Father of Lights. Righteousness manifests in such an atmosphere in unmeasured joy. The Spirit of God has found a heart easily inhabited. Now He can lead you into the fullness of the Spirit and manifest the Christ for all to see and be blessed. These two houses simply must be the most important work of God in life today.
Proverbs 24:3-4 (NASB) “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Ras Robinson
October 24, 2012. Plan A hasn’t worked like you thought. Now it is time to go to plan B. You weren’t sure if you were hearing Me and now you know. I am training you to hear Me and sometimes you have to go with what you think you hear to get your spiritual senses sharpened. I know you wish you could hear and follow Me with perfect high fidelity, but this is like anything else you do in following Me. It is simple but not always easy. Get your mind and emotions completely clear then wait for Me. Your plan B is My plan A and was from the beginning.
1 Kings 19:11-12 (MSG) “Then he was told, “Go, stand on the mountain at attention before God. God will pass by.” A hurricane wind ripped through the mountains and shattered the rocks before God, but God wasn’t to be found in the wind; after the wind an earthquake, but God wasn’t in the earthquake; and after the earthquake fire, but God wasn’t in the fire; and after the fire a gentle and quiet whisper.” Bev Robinson
October 24, 2012. The common excuse you’ve given is that you’re just speaking the truth. On the flip side, how have you responded when someone has said to you that they were just speaking the truth? It left a resounding thud in your innermost being. Just because you know the truth, doesn’t give you the liberty to force your thoughts or beliefs down someone’s throat in a patronizing way. It takes more inner strength, will power and courage to pray for the individual to fully receive My Spirit’s revelation of truth than any of your harsh words could ever do. Approach one another with goodness, gentleness and kindness as I have done for you.
Micah 6:8 (NKJV) “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Kevin Robinson
October 23, 2012. Many secrets and messages are hidden within the fragrances that ignite our nostrils. Even God indicates how certain fragrances bring Him pleasure. You have found that you can bless those nearest you with pleasant perfumes, colognes and various other expressions that show you care about them. My wife delights me from time to time on special occasions by wearing what she knows is my favorite perfume. That means a lot to me. In return, I work at having as many varied and pleasant fragrances around our house as possible. God himself leaves His fragrances for us to enjoy because He loves us.
Philippians 4:18 (MSG) “And now I have it all-and keep getting more! The gifts you sent with Epaphroditus were more than enough, like a sweet-smelling sacrifice roasting on the altar, filling the air with fragrance, pleasing God no end.” Ras Robinson
October 23, 2012. It seemed like nothing went right yesterday . Plans went awry; appointments were changed and canceled; you could not find what you needed. It seemed like for a while the day was a waste. It wasn’t about you, your tasks or the people you relate to. It was about a war in the heavens. There was and continues to be a great deal at stake. Yesterday heaven and hell were at odds with each other more than usual. Now you know. Your praying is needed. Don’t slack off. Don’t forget to do what you promised. Next time this happens you will know better at the time what is going on. Keep praying.
Gen 18:32 (NLT) “Finally, Abraham said, “Lord, please don’t be angry with me if I speak one more time. Suppose only ten are found there?” And the Lord replied, “Then I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.” Bev Robinson
October 23, 2012. I know you. You’re the apple of My eye. You’re the sparkle which continues to remain on the forefront of My eyes. Look into the depths of your soul and see how much you thrill My heart. I know your innermost being. I formed you in your mother’s womb. I knew you from the foundation of the earth. You are such a delight to me. Receive who I’ve made you to be. There has never been, nor will there ever be a creation as wonderful as you. Relax and be yourself at My feet. I love you just as you are. Rejoice in knowing you are Mine and I AM yours.
John 15:12 (NLT) “This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.” Kevin Robinson
October 22, 2012. Both are operative in the church today. Both Gad, the seer, and Nathan, the prophet, served in King David’s court. Samuel, deemed a prophet by God, referred to himself as a seer. He was both. Today, I met a couple at church, long-time subscribers. The wife is five months pregnant. While driving to meet them for lunch, the Lord spoke to me that the husband is a gifted and growing seer who will bless many. Then God showed me the unborn male baby will be a spiritual powerhouse, operating in many spiritual gifts to bless nations. It is an honor and privilege to be a believer who functions in the spiritual gift of a seer or prophet. Operate in your spiritual gifting humbly with confidence and boldness.
1 Samuel 9:18-19 (NLT) “Just then Saul approached Samuel at the gateway and asked, “Can you please tell me where the seer’s house is?” “I am the seer!” Samuel replied. “Go up to the place of worship ahead of me. We will eat there together, and in the morning I’ll tell you what you want to know and send you on your way.” Ras Robinson
October 22, 2012. You have really disappointed yourself in some decisions and actions you made. Now you’re mulling this over and over in your mind. It’s not good to rehearse again and again what you did. You are harder on yourself than I am. I don’t beat you up about it and then wait until you become distraught. My desire is that you recognize the steps you took in reaching these disappointing actions so you will be on guard the next time of temptation. Just repent, return to Me and begin again. You will eventually reach your destination but it is going to take some patience. Don’t justify your actions; change your heart.
Luke 8:15 (NASB) “But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.” Bev Robinson
October 22, 2012. Jump on in. The water’s fine. All too often, you’ve reluctantly sat on the side of the riverbank watching others have fun and frolic in My river. Until now you have been content to just stick your toes in My river. That’s perfectly fine if that’s all you want. But you know there is more, lots more, to the Spirit filled life and you want it. Glance back at your own timeline and see how you could have experienced My joy earlier if you could have only believed more readily. If you’re not the type who leads, follow the leader I have placed before you who is experiencing the joy you want.
John 16:23-24 (NASB) “In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” Kevin Robinson
October 21, 2012. I have made you to be a priest/priestess and king/queen in My Kingdom. You have received anointing and spiritual strength for all the things I have called you to do. Never should you doubt that you are My chosen. These are the days for which I have planned your rise in My power. You are well prepared because I have been ever present in your training and equipping. My anointing has been your teacher and the lenses of your seeing. You have not turned back nor have you rebelled against My assignments and opportunities. You are a good soldier in My army. This is your time and this is your hour to shine. Don’t miss any of it. Your great rewards await you.
Psalm 21:1-4 (MSG) “Your strength, GOD, is the king’s strength. Helped, he’s hollering Hosannas. You gave him exactly what he wanted; you didn’t hold back. You filled his arms with gifts; you gave him a right royal welcome. He wanted a good life; you gave it to him, and then made it a long life as a bonus.” Ras Robinson
October 21, 2012. Everything you do of lasting value will begin on the inside. If you are living from the outside in, what you do will eventually burn up. Receiving Me as your Savior and Lord started on the inside and needs to continue that way for the rest of your life. Being My follower is an inside job. Does inside living affect what happens on the outside? Absolutely! But don’t let outside guidance direct your life. I didn’t and neither should you. Be guided by My Spirit. Allow My Spirit to lead your spirit where you go and what you do. I have many great, yes great, things ahead for you to do.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NLT) “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. ” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” Bev Robinson
October 21, 2012. You have watched others get blessed beyond measure in the natural. Those same people getting blessed in the natural are probably looking at others the same way you are. My rain falls on the unjust and just. Make every effort on your part to keep yourself sanctified from jealousy, envy and comparing yourself with what others possess or have attained. Keep your eyes focused on Me. Invest your time, money, and all your waking days on Me. My ways are not your ways. Though you may live in the lowlands or on the flat places figuratively speaking, lift up your head to My hill. I AM where your help comes from.
Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV) “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Kevin Robinson
October 19, 2012. Sometimes you feel overwhelmed that not only did Jesus die for you but He also kept and fulfilled all the Law for you. When you accepted Him, you accepted also that keeping His commandments brings blessings in your life. Obedience to the commandments of Jesus brings life and multiplied blessings. On top of all this, when you receive Him for salvation, you receive eternal life without end. You capture the goodness of Jesus Himself and He commissions you to share that goodness with others, especially those who are widows and orphans. Receive His anointing and do His ministry of going about doing good for others.
Matthew 19:16-17 (NASB) “And someone came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?” And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.” Ras Robinson
October 19, 2012. You have been wondering about something. You don’t know when or even if you are to share. You’ve been reading and studying the subject. Yes at some time you will share and I will show you with whom to share. But the time and the subject is not for now. I have said this before but I say it again. Timing is one of the most important things I have for you to learn. If what you are thinking is shared at the wrong time, the one hearing it will either recoil or simply will not hear. I will show you when and what to do. Many will then believe.
John 11:14-15 (MSG) “Then Jesus became explicit: “Lazarus died. And I am glad for your sakes that I wasn’t there. You’re about to be given new grounds for believing. Now let’s go to him.” Bev Robinson
October 19, 2012. My word testifies of how I humbled Myself, making residence among My chosen people. I came with one purpose in mind and that was to do the will of My Father. Likewise, God has placed your dwelling among the people where He has chosen. I have not given you a spirit of fear. I have placed My light deep within your innermost parts. Shine My brightness and presence in all phases of your life. Be bold in your declaration of Me. If you are ashamed of Me, will I not recognize you? Represent Me wherever you live. Grant mercy and My confidence to worldly ones about you. Can I be seen?
John 1:14(KJV) “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Kevin Robinson
October 18, 2012. Does change come easily for you? It often comes at a price. Where we live, summer is being replaced with what we call the fall of the year. Winds begin to shift from the east, to south, to west and then finally to north. With the north winds usually come clouds, thunder, lightning and storms. Temperatures drop quickly. Winter is not far away. It is inevitable that these changes, like the links in a chain, begin to follow each other. There is nothing we can do to stop it. We can only prepare and be thankful for the season and all it brings. Peace in the heavens begins to occur. Peace in our hearts prevails. Great is our God.
Job 37:2-4, 9 (NLT) “Listen carefully to the thunder of God’s voice as it rolls from his mouth. It rolls across the heavens, and his lightning flashes in every direction. Then comes the roaring of the thunder- the tremendous voice of his majesty. He does not restrain it when he speaks… The stormy wind comes from its chamber, and the driving winds bring the cold.” Ras Robinson
October 18, 2012. There is a lack of understanding on your part about something you are going through. Don’t quit what you know to do because you don’t understand. Keep on track and do the next right thing that comes available. If you stop now it will not be good. You will have to start over and go around the mountain again. I know your heart and you’re tired of the all the activity. I know you don’t want to keep going. But in the long run this is the thing to do. Light will be revealed to your darkness and light will come. A blessing is in store. Don’t give up.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (KJV) “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” Bev Robinson
October 18, 2012. It’s not having what you want; it’s wanting what you already have. Am I not enough for you? Let Me fulfill your inner longing with revelation knowledge which is I AM your abundant, sufficient provider. I AM the one who satisfies your deepest desires. Your closets are filled with things which brought temporary satisfaction. Be grateful for what you have already been given. What you truthfully want is Me. I AM the one who fulfills your all in all. In My presence is fullness of joy. Let My mindset be your mindset. Things won’t satisfy the hollowness inside which I can fill. Let the pursuit of Me be your top priority.
1 Timothy 6:6-7 (NLT) “Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it.” Kevin Robinson
October 17, 2012. May the Lord turn again your way and show His glory. It is as if He has walked away and removed his hand of favor. But be reminded that though Moses was allowed to see and experience the presence of God, he was not granted permission to see God’s face. There were times when Moses felt slighted or abandoned by God, but in the end, Moses was well rewarded for his faithfulness. He did experience God’s glory in the transfiguration. Be encouraged that there are many more good things and successes. Others who have followed you, like Joshua followed and then succeeded Moses, will see far more than you have seen. You and they will be doubly
Psalm 80:12-14 (MSG) “So why do you no longer protect your vine? Trespassers pick its grapes at will; wild pigs crash through and crush it, and the mice nibble away at what’s left. God of the angel armies, turn our way! Take a good look at what’s happened and attend to this vine.” Ras Robinson
October 17, 2012. Just because you have heard Me doesn’t mean the timing to do it is now. Do not rush into action. Most people misjudge the timing. Moses rushed into action when he first heard he was to lead My people from bondage. It was not the right time and he operated in the flesh. He then went to the desert for forty years to learn patience about leading sheep. My timing is of utmost importance. Don’t try to manipulate anyone into what they hear. I will tell them also what will soon take place. Then when the convergence of what you hear and what they hear occurs that is the right time.
Exodus 2:14 (NASB77). “But he said, “Who made you a prince or a judge over us? Are you intending to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, and said, “Surely the matter has become known.”. Bev Robinson
October 17, 2012. Just what are you trying to hang onto? It’s time to take some serious proactive moves toward letting things go. If you can change, do you believe others can as well? Are you able to forgive and also forget? Quite often an object is a reminder of something not finished and could leave a bad taste in your mouth. The same is true with forgiving and bitterness. When is enough, enough? Are you trying to prove a point? Seriously, who is going to be the adult in the matter? Look at others through My eyes. You have been forgiven from all your sin, period. Do the same for others, period.
2 Corinthians (NLT). “So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.” Kevin Robinson
October 16, 2012. Last weekend our church celebrated the 20th anniversary of our founding. Joy filled the full house! Before leaving our previous church, our then pastor visited South Korea. While there, he received instruction from Dr. Cho on successful cell groups to reach the masses . As a young elder in that church, I was so excited that I ask our pastor if I could lead our church to establish home cell groups. I got permission to invite all interested adults and youth to join a class to learn and then lead cells (Write fcm@fullnessnetwork.net to learn more). We grew quickly to 33 groups, reaching 625 total people. I received the blessing of our leadership to begin a new church in line with what we had learned. Authentic apostolic leadership is essential. It works.
Acts 16:4-5 (MSG) “As they traveled from town to town, they presented the simple guidelines the Jerusalem apostles and leaders had come up with. That turned out to be most helpful. Day after day the congregations became stronger in faith and larger in size.” Ras Robinson
October 16, 2012. I know you are wondering why what was done was not so big when others thought it was momentous. Don’t say anything about what is going through your mind. It will not be seen as I see it. It will be measured by what is in other’s minds. I know you are grateful because I see your heart. What I have shown you is so much larger than what others have seen. You were broken, even though at the time you did not know it was breaking, and now you know how to abase and abound. Abundance is ahead so keep believing Me for all that is coming into being.
Philippians 4:12-13 (NASB) “I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Bev Robinson
October 16, 2012. You have become somewhat frustrated with some of your connections. They have begun to cause considerable irritation in your life. Things which once worked smoothly have been very cumbersome. You have been unable to locate the source of the disconnect and have made numerous attempts to resolve the issue. You have followed the proper channels to get the problems resolved, yet there are lingering difficulties that won’t go away. Don’t give up or give in. Don’t let these concerns steal your joy and peace. Seek wise counsel and, to the best of your ability, follow the instructions given. This pertains to individuals, assemblies and other random issues in your life.
Daniel 5:12 (NLT) “This man Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, has exceptional ability and is filled with divine knowledge and understanding. He can interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.” Kevin Robinson
October 15, 2012. Why is it you keep forgetting who you are? You see, I am God and you are not. Should you not take that into account when you speak against and otherwise judge one of My children? When you speak against or judge, you put yourself between Me and My child. That is like jumping between a polar bear and her cub. Parents are fiercely protective of their offspring. You would be wise never to even think, much less actually come between us. So why don’t you start blessing instead of judging and speaking against one of Mine? Let your thoughts be on things above and the beauty of all My creation and My children. Blessed will be your life!
James 4:11-12 (NASB) “Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it. “There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?” Ras Robinson
October 15, 2012. It is good to have expectations, but you have placed them in the wrong place. You are placing them in a person and that will eventually bring disappointment. Placing them in Me is where they need to be. Having expectations is a part of faith and all productive expectations need to be in Me. I will show which expectations originated in Me or someone else. If you have some which are not based on My precepts and ways, they will produce bad fruit because they are fleshly expectations. Those will end in disappointment. Precious, place your expectations and desires in Me and blessings upon blessing will follow My precepts and ways.
Psalms 119:66 (AMP) “Teach me good judgment, wise and right discernment, and knowledge, for I have believed (trusted, relied on, and clung to) Your commandments.” Bev Robinson
October 15, 2012. Refuse to allow anyone’s gossip to spread like wildfire. When someone’s word of mouth or hearsay comes in your midst, don’t give Satan any ground by rekindling any embers of pain and hurt you may have encountered. Diffuse volatile situations with My compassion and understanding. Bring the refreshing water of My word into every setting you encounter. Draw from the wellspring I have placed within you. Let Me quench dry and thirsty souls around you with the words you speak. I have given you abundant refreshment with My word. In like manner, do the same for those you meet. Speak gently and kindly to one another with every step you take.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV) “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” Kevin Robinson
October 14, 2012. You have been noticing pride and arrogance in others. You see it so clearly in them. But now I want to hold you to account for your own pride and arrogance. I have decided to grant you a greater grace than you have known in many years. You have been overwhelmed by My goodness. And you know in your own eyes and heart that you do not deserve the good I am doing for and through you right now . I have, as a result, seen your tears and broken heart over how lowly you feel in light of My greater grace which you have experienced. Turn now and wash your hands, even change your garments. Be single minded to purify your heart. Be humble.
James 4:6-8 (NASB) “But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” Ras Robinson
October 14, 2012. I am showing you a new direction. It’s not a major shift but nevertheless it is new and helpful. It will cause much excitement because you have been waiting a long time to hear. One of the first things you will want to do is go tell others about what I have shown. I know you want everyone in on what you have seen because it will help them and that’s the way you are. Eventually there will be the time for that, but don’t do it now. You need to wait on My timing to speak what I am showing. If you share it too quickly they will not hear.
Matthew 10:27 (AMP) “What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim upon the housetops.” Bev Robinson
October 14, 2012. Difficult circumstances will come at an inopportune time. Will this situation which confronts you be just another problem to struggle with, or a tremendous opportunity you can benefit from? Begin to thank Me for the joy I’ve set before you. Don’t jump to conclusions based on how others have responded negatively to similar scenarios. Ask what is it that I want to reveal and show you. It’s completely natural to respond with intellect and emotion. Learn to ask for My wisdom in EVERYTHING. Let Me reveal My wisdom to you in abbreviated form, which can take some people years to know. Find My way of benefitting through all things.
James 1:2-5 (NKJV) “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” Kevin Robinson
October 13, 2012. Yesterday, Kathy Bohlin, our Director of Philippine Missions, told Bev and me that she had huge surprise for us. She asked us to come and sit while she presented the surprise. She handed us a Federal Express envelope that contained a large donation for our ministry to poor children in the Philippines (625 children in school with 22 overseeing and approved pastors). The day before, Kathy wrote a letter to all our FCM pastors in the Philippines explaining the need to cut the amount we send them on a monthly basis. The reason was that our income has been down for several months. She asked the pastors to pray and send their ideas. We’ve already heard from three of them with pledges to stand firm with us in prayer as they try and figure out what they can do to help. With this donation just received, we will NOT find it necessary to cut the funds for the children’s food and supplies. What a Mighty God we have! I remember in 2001 when God called me to this ministry of sending very poor children to school, I almost laughed as I wondered how I could afford such a ministry. God said, “Believe and tell the story of this call. I will send help!” He has! Please pray about being one He calls to be a channel to send “what you can.” It will be enough.
Psalm 13:5-6 (MSG) “I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms- I’m celebrating your rescue. I’m singing at the top of my lungs, I’m so full of answered prayers.” Ras Robinson
October 13, 2012. An unexpected blessing is coming. Not one you had to beg for. Not one you had to scratch for. Not even one you had to plan for. There have been others who have joined you in praying and believing and they too will receive a blessing. I saw and continue seeing your obedience. I see how well you have been stewarding the things you have been given right up until now. That is what I look for. I have a precious bride and I look for the ones who love her and treat her like the special one she is. You’ve been taking good care of her. Now comes your reward.
Luke 12:42-44 (NLT) “And the Lord replied, “A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward. I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns.” Bev Robinson
October 13, 2012. Many times throughout your life you have witnessed a child who was resisting the discipline and correction of their parent or parents. Through a heart of love and compassion the parent longs to see the child raised up in the way they should go. They want their child to make right choices, to lead a life made of just and upright decisions . The Lord says, “Make right choices today and every day. I AM the one who is giving you step by step instruction and guidance. Let Me plan your day. Allow Me to lead as I say. Permit Me to organize your way. Give your consent to Me in everything.”
Proverbs 3:11-13 (NLT) ” My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.” Kevin Robinson
October 12, 2012. You feel like those you once counted upon as the righteous ones have walked away. They have each dropped by the wayside over time. Where is the place of faithfulness and loyalty today? The Lord says, “Never place your trust for your future with man. The very best of them with their good intentions fall short. It is only I upon whom you can fully depend. Others have other priorities and other differences with you. In fact, you have found yourself outside the camp even without realizing it. It has been so with My servants down through the ages that they have been ultimately separated unto Me. Your greater seasons are before you now, not behind you.”
Psalm 12:1 (NLT) “Help, O LORD, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth!” Ras Robinson
October 12, 2012. I have something I want you keeping at the front of your mind. It will help you live life the way I have designed you. It will help keep you from depression, judgments of others, and taking harmful routes. What is it you say? What do you want me to do? It’s not so much about doing but more about being. I want you to keep in mind that I AM and I am a rewarder. Yes, A rewarder. I am a benevolent loving God who wants better for you than you want yourself. How about that? Believe that I AM and that I am a rewarder. I love you.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Bev Robinson
October 12, 2012. Place your complete trust in Me during grieving times. Let the assurance of your salvation make you stronger until the day of My return . In the natural it’s common to grieve after the loss of a loved one. Allow Holy Spirit to sweep you up into His loving arms. Let My joy fill your heart until it overflows. Those believers sing of hope which has been fulfilled. They are completely assured that I AM theirs. Join in song with the throngs who have found My rest. Let My melody sustain you. Experience My joy in your midst. Know that I AM your redeemer and you and I live forever and ever.
Psalm 30:10-12 (NLT) “Hear me, Lord, and have mercy on me. Help me, O Lord. You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!”
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (NLT) “And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.” Kevin Robinson
October 11, 2012. Don’t you just love getting right and staying right with God? He is a just and loving Father beyond any earthly father who ever lived. When you make a mistake, His grace and understanding come rolling out to help you make it right. Should you sin, His love covers it and all the other sins you ever committed. His memory is dim concerning your wrong doings, He remembers them no more. What could be more rewarding than to know that you are living such a life that you can look God in the eye, standing tall before Him. His love for you is a many splendored thing. It is beyond both explanation and defying of definition.
Psalm 11:7 (MSG) “GOD’s business is putting things right; he loves getting the lines straight, setting us straight. Once we’re standing tall, we can look him straight in the eye.” Ras Robinson
October 11, 2012. You feel you aren’t hearing Me for your own personal interests and you are right. There is a block. Why you say? The reason is you did not do the last thing I said. Why would I say to you something else if you’re in the mode of not doing what I say? Obedience opens up My revelation. When you obey it brings you peace of mind and you can hear more revelation that you have not heretofore known. I am not mad at you. I am not punishing you. I am not rejecting you. Go back and do what I said. Obey Me and you will see marvelous wonders.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 (NLT) “This is what the Lord says-the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” Bev Robinson
October 11, 2012. When times of difficulty come, people reach out to you because of the kind and merciful demeanor you exhibit to them and others. You’ve learned the value of hiding yourself in Me. Continue to be a safe haven for people, one in whom they can confide. People want a safe and sound place to share their issues. Don’t ever discount the position in which I have placed you. Keep strict guidelines within yourself to never divulge things shared privately . People seek you out because they know you will have compassion and understanding. When needs arise within individuals, realize that I have equipped you as one who can help restore order. Embrace as I embrace.
1 Corinthians 16:18 (NASB) “Let all that you do be done in love.” Kevin Robinson
October 10, 2012. A divided house will fall or else be taken over by a more powerful head of that house. A lady who cut my hair today was a young 40 year old. She has four children ages five to seventeen. I asked if she were a Christian. Politely, she told me she is Buddhist, her husband Catholic. I witnessed to her and gave an especially generous tip for which she was delighted. I am praying for her that Holy Spirit will fall upon her, that she and her household will be saved and baptized. Do those who serve you know about your Christ and what He can do for them?
Acts 10:44-48 (MSG) “No sooner were these words out of Peter’s mouth than the Holy Spirit came on the listeners. The believing Jews who had come with Peter couldn’t believe it, couldn’t believe that the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out on “outsider” Gentiles, but there it was-they heard them speaking in tongues, heard them praising God. Then Peter said, “Do I hear any objections to baptizing these friends with water? They’ve received the Holy Spirit exactly as we did. ” Hearing no objections, he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay on for a few days.” Ras Robinson
October 10, 2012. A problem is in the making. You have suspected it, because of past experiences. It is causing uneasiness in your spirit. The reason for the uneasiness is this is a warning. This is a time for concerted prayer. Remember all the times you have prayed with others and victory came. Satan was defeated and peace returned in your midst. Dwell on all these victorious times . Don’t allow your mind dwelling mostly on the coming problems. Get your mind on the coming victories. I have called you to a higher plain. You can hear Me better when your mind is at peace. You can see better how to pray from on high.
Psalms 18:16-19 (NLT) “He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me. He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.” Bev Robinson
October 10, 2012. Why is your time and enthusiasm given to other things except Me? Am I not more important than man made objects? How can you say you love me, yet you’re unwilling to devote even a fleeting thought about Me or pray to Me? You find it easy to dedicate time and energy toward secular activities. Some of you stay home from church so you can stay abreast of your favorite activity or find rest in temporal matters abroad. I urge you to make Me your first priority. Invest time in My ways which remain. Eat from My tree and be filled till you overflow . I say this through My heart of love.
Matthew 6:33 (NASB) “But seek ye first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.” Kevin Robinson
October 9, 2012. You have a fully incredible future in God. Look at the example of Jesus, anointed, helping and healing people, and delivering them from the devil. You could not come up with a better definition of the Kingdom of God preachd by Jesus. He was not anointed just to have the zing of power from on high. You might notice that He was ready for action. But He did not stop there. Jesus became animated with the Holy Spirit and God. Truth is that all those things Jesus came to possess He has given to you. All that power and potential for good is yours today. Will you accept it like Jesus?
Acts 10:38 (MSG) “Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him.” Ras Robinson
October 9, 2012. The time table and plan you have been working under is about to change. Be prepared. Don’t be caught unaware. It will not alter anything of importance but it will mean some readjustments in your activities. Stay close to Me and all will be well. These happenings will cause problems. But the problems, if handled carefully and with skill, will bring blessing. If you stay in close communication with Me and follow My directions, these problems will bring you blessings that were begun long ago. Their beginnings will soon be evident. You will be amazed at how activities started so long ago could produce blessings that will soon come into being.
Isaiah 48:6 (NASB) “I proclaim to you new things from this time, Even hidden things which you have not known.” Bev Robinson
October 9, 2012. Beware of believing everything you see and hear. Pay close attention to the spirit in which people are prophesying. Do they have proper alignment with My word when they are speaking? Is the one prophesying under My authority? Listen with refined hearing skills. Weigh very carefully the weight of the words being spoken. In the past you have received words. Are you testing what is being delivered to you and to those around you? Discern whether the words being spoken have evidence that I AM LORD. Satan is deceptive and his words are very slick and smooth. Test very carefully the spirits.
1 John 4:1-2 (NLT) “Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God.” Kevin Robinson
October 8, 2012. Storms come and storms go. As a child, I lived in a tornado zone of my home state. My parents dug into the ground and made a storm shelter that we ran to if a tornado was coming. Somehow I learned in those days to have no fear of such weather. With no fear, I could wisely asses any manoeuvres needed to avoid injuries. Somehow in all that learning about storms, I realized God had given me faith that He was my covering and protection. This was not the case with the disciples whose boat was about to sink in a sea storm. However, they learned quickly the power of Jesus to save. Be at peace and be wise in the storms of your life.
Matthew 8:23-27 (MSG) “Then he got in the boat, his disciples with him. The next thing they knew, they were in a severe storm. Waves were crashing into the boat-and he was sound asleep! They roused him, pleading, “Master, save us! We’re going down!” … Then he stood up and told the wind to be silent, the sea to quiet down: “Silence!” The sea became smooth as glass. The men rubbed their eyes, astonished. “What’s going on here? Wind and sea come to heel at his command!” Ras Robinson
October 8, 2012. There was no idea what was ahead, but at the time you were being led by My Spirit. There was no fanfare. You just did what was in your heart. Even now without being particularly aware of it you again are being led by My Spirit. This is a way you know your heart is good. Someone told you that your heart was deceitfully wicked, and it was then, but that is before I gave you the new heart. The one you now have is made of flesh and is pliable in My hands. It is not resistant to My will and you can trust it when it is completely given over to Me.
Ezekiel 11:19 (AMP) “And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God],” Bev Robinson
October 8, 2012. Can you see how foolish you appear to others? It is as if you are having schoolyard fights over silly dogmas. Step back from situations clogging your mind. You have spent so much time arguing about what Scriptures say that you have wasted time you can never regain. Ask yourself if My love is prevailing. Or are you warring among yourselves about senseless matters. Extend grace to one another. Remember, at one point before you received revelation, you could not see clearly. Surround yourself with peacemakers not dividers. Can and will you receive one another, or must you insist on having your way? Choose My way! My way is life everlasting.
Titus 3:8-11 (MSG) “I want you to put your foot down. Take a firm stand on these matters so that those who have put their trust in God will concentrate on the essentials that are good for everyone. Stay away from mindless, pointless quarreling over genealogies and fine print in the law code. That gets you nowhere. Warn a quarrelsome person once or twice, but then be done with him. It’s obvious that such a person is out of line, rebellious against God. By persisting in divisiveness he cuts himself off.” Kevin Robinson
October 7, 2012. This is a season wherein you feel lonely as if you have been abandoned by your God, friends and family. You feel destitute in some areas of your life because your loss is so severe. You thank God for the grace He has granted you to pray, knowing He will not leave you. He will carry you in His arms as you come to Him for help and then obey His instructions. He protects you like a mother bear protects her cubs. Trust Him. God is a family God. Your children are His priority to bless and protect. He hears your cries for your family These days are particularly trying and tempting times for your offspring.
Psalm 102:7; 17; 28 (NLT) “I lie awake, lonely as a solitary bird on the roof; He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas; The children of your people will live in security. Their children’s children will thrive in your presence.” Ras Robinson
October 7, 2012. Don’t let your guard down . Your enemy Satan is always looking to see what havoc he can perform in your midst… especially when there are some big events coming up. Be on the alert. Don’t cave in to his ways; he delights in that. He tries to use you to make Me look weak. In the way he does it, he makes you look weak. You are not weak. On your own you can be weak, but you are not on your own. You are strong in Me. Don’t cave in. Don’t throw up your hands. Don’t let go of the reins. Stay steady and walk in tandem with Me.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NLT) “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.” Bev Robinson
October 7, 2012. Are you willing to examine yourself before you focus on the issues of someone else? Analyze your own heart and mind before you begin scrutinizing the behavior of others? Instead of looking for others to change, make adjustments within your own life in the same way you want others to change. As much as you have tried, you have not been able to change the ways of someone else. You can change your mindset and trust Me for yourself. You are the only one who can establish and maintain a lifestyle of pursuing Me. Regardless of what others do or say, turn your heart toward Me. Let nothing dissuade your quest of Me and My righteousness.
Lamentations 3:40 (AMP) “Let us test and examine our ways, and let us return to the Lord!” Kevin Robinson
October 6, 2012. Learning patience requires the exercise of patience. Today there is a microwave mentality about most things. You want to get something done now and often without first seeking the Lord. Lack of patience has caused too many spiritual mishaps. God’s timetable is not the same as yours or mine. He is the personification of perfect patience in all things. He has been waiting on our repentance for a very long time. Prophets and prophetesses often must wait on the timing of the Lord as to when a word is to be delivered. Many of them never lived to see the certain fulfillment of their messages from the Lord. Practice patience over and over again to perfection. That should be your goal.
James 5:10 (KJV) “Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.”
James 1:3-4 (KJV) “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” Ras Robinson
October 6, 2012. If negative thoughts, whether true or not, are allowed to reside in your mind, they can eventually do great damage to you mentally and physically. It is okay to consider the thoughts, but pray about them all, and then let them pass on through your mind. Your mind was designed so that it and your body works best when you cause your mind to dwell and be at home on the good, peaceful, blessed things of this world. I cannot impress on you how important this needs to be your way of life. I have made it possible to roll all of your cares and concerns over on Me.
John 14:27 (AMP) “Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]” Bev Robinson
October 6, 2012. Do not neglect the spiritual gifts I have given you. Why would you shelve something so important to you and the body of Christ? Apprehension can be one of the biggest hindrances for you in using your gift. My word proclaims that a father will not give a snake or scorpion to a son who asks for a gift. Your Heavenly Father knows exactly what fits you best and He wants you to embrace the gifts He has placed within you. Many people struggle with trying to find their significance in life. God’s gifts are tailor made for you. By operating freely with these gifts, you’ll experience His joy in the fullest sense.
Romans 1:11-12 (AMP) “For I am yearning to see you, that I may impart and share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen and establish you; That is, that we may be mutually strengthened and encouraged and comforted by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.” Kevin Robinson
October 5, 2012. Jesus has been my Chief Physician for many years. In my forties, my doctor discovered hypertension and in effect said I might not live long. Thirty years later, another doctor told me he could do nothing else for me. Today, I got the results of an extensive blood test. All measurements were amazingly normal with a few marginal concerns. I will talk to my Chief Physician about these as I watch and take care of myself with good personal care in nutrition and exercise. By the way, I have been fasting and praying since September 28 on my way to November 6. Praying keeps me connected with my Chief Physician. It also allows me to pray for others with power. Lord, protect my saltiness!
Matthew 5:13-14 (MSG) “Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness?” Ras Robinson
October 5, 2012. There are fears you have. They have been simmering within you but you have told no one. They have been reinforced by some recent news. You don’t have to tell anyone but Me. But you do need to tell Me every fearful thought that has come across your mind no matter how small it is. Don’t allow those thoughts to rumble around in your head. Get them all out in the open to Me. Most have no power at all unless you let them. Even then the fear itself is not destructive, but the thought of it is. The ones that are destructive I will take care of. Trust Me.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Bev Robinson
October 5, 2012. In the natural my nose is very limited in smelling odors. I can primarily smell foul odors and briefly smell pleasant aromas. Supernaturally I can strongly smell the sweet floral, fruity presence of my Lord at various times which delights my spirit. The Lord says, “You carry within your innermost being the wonderful fragrance of Me. In the Old Testament people offered burnt offerings to honor and bless Me. Being part of the old covenant it was pleasing to Me, but not completely sufficient. My Son came to minister the new covenant to you and you’ve become a sweeter aroma to Me filling the earth and the heavens.”
2 Corinthians 2:14-17 (NIV) “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.” Kevin Robinson
October 4, 2012. The Kingdom of God (Heaven) is at hand! Do you know this central message of Jesus’ entire ministry? What did He mean when He said “the kingdom of heaven (God) is at hand?” Jesus stated His purpose in preaching and ministry with this often repeated phrase, reflecting the essence of Jesus’ message – “turn from your sins; the long-promised King is in your midst.” It is not an organization or a political entity. Rather, it is King Jesus being in and doing through believers what He has always done, healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. He is still doing it today! And He will do it through you, if you surrender to His Kingship and let Him express His power through your life . Join in this quest of Jesus.
Matthew 4:17 (NASB) “From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Matthew 4:23-25 (NASB) “Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.” Ras Robinson
October 4, 2012. I know you have been through a hard time. Many of those around you were in a hard time too. For a season you now have a break. Make the most of it. Don’t get involved now in something else. This is a time for rest. Get it whenever you can get it . Take the time when others are resting for your rest. Don’t try to keep up with anyone who has not been through a time like you have been through. This is not a race. This is not competition. This is finding the pace that makes you comfortable and staying with it. Whatever it takes, keep your thoughts positive.
2 Samuel 7:25 (NLT) “And now, O Lord God, I am your servant; do as you have promised concerning me and my family. Confirm it as a promise that will last forever.” Bev Robinson
October 4, 2012. Remember Me . Remember your first love. Remember the passion you had for Me at first. Remember where you once were before you came to Me. Joggle your memory and look how far we have come together. Re-kindle the fire that once burned bright toward Me, but has become somewhat of a dimly lit smoking ember. Holy Spirit came like a rushing wind to My disciples in the upper room. Let the rushing wind of Holy Spirit blow on you and stoke the embers in every aspect of your life. Make the choice for My love to reign again. I pursued you. Now you pursue Me.
1 John 4:19 (NASB) “We love, because He first loved us.” Kevin Robinson
October 3, 2012. You wonder and marvel at why some people feel you simply do not fit in. They also believe that, in some ways, you are beyond changing. How could they think change is impossible for you? Almost anyone would be disturbed by being seen as they see you, but you have made the right choice to bring this issue to Me. I say to you, “You have made Me to be a shield against all those who dislike you. You have indeed found that I alone am your glory and the lifter of your head. Never think that I feel sorry for you. Instead, I delight in you and love you always.”
Psalm 3:2-3 (NASB) “Many are saying of my soul, “There is no deliverance for him in God.” Selah. But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.” Ras Robinson
October 3, 2012. There’s no way you could fully understand how much I love you, because you have never seen love that deep. Think of the most love you have ever seen or heard about. Multiply that times infinity then maybe you can understand My love for you. I knew you in your mother’s womb and have watched you grow. I have known when choices concerning you were bad and also when they were good. I have known when you made good choices and when you made bad ones. I was with you then and am with you now. You could turn to Me for help then and you can turn to Me now.
Luke 15:20-23 (MSG) “He got right up and went home to his father. “When he was still a long way off, his father saw him. His heart pounding, he ran out, embraced him, and kissed him . The son started his speech: ‘Father, I’ve sinned against God, I’ve sinned before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son ever again.’ “But the father wasn’t listening. He was calling to the servants, ‘Quick. Bring a clean set of clothes and dress him. Put the family ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Then get a grain-fed heifer and roast it. We’re going to feast! We’re going to have a wonderful time! Bev Robinson
October 3, 2012. Be the catalyst. Be the one who spurs others on to love and good deeds. Are you willing to look foolish for the sake of Me and My kingdom? You have desired to spread My good news to those you know and for some reason you get caught up in yourself. Your perception has become skewed because you feel you might embarrass yourself or be humiliated. I AM the Word. I AM the One who does the wooing. Be an example to those around you and speak about Me wherever you are. Someone did the same for you . Be My substance. Find a way to show THE WAY. Do you love Me?
Ephesians 6:19-20 (NLT) “And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for Him, as I should.” Kevin Robinson
October 2, 2012. People often ask me what I do with my time and efforts. As I did yesterday, I usually spend my “day off” thinking of and praying for these kids. God gave each sponsored child into our care. With joy in my heart I tell people that since April 2001, I have given a huge portion of my life and resources to the poorest of the poor children in the Philippines. When I finish telling them, people are usually stunned and speechless but have a smile on their faces. I ask them pray for our ministry. To have this ministry is a dream come true. Each day of my life, I pray for the 600+ children and their 20+ dedicated pastors. That is why my heart is broken (I believe like Jesus) when I see or hear of our children being so hungry they cannot learn effectively.
Luke 18:16-17 (KJV) “But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the Kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Ras Robinson
October 2, 2012. So many things have gone well lately, you’re afraid it is time for something to go wrong. Don’t think that way. Keep your thoughts positive. Don’t expect something to go badly. Sometimes what you fear comes upon you and you don’t want to be expecting the negative. Why not expect the positive and see what happens? It will be something to learn. When you think positively, you tend to act positively. When you think negatively, you act negatively. Think of going from glory to glory. If your mind drifts toward the negative, rein it in. Bring it into obedience and think of My goodness, My blessings and the fruit of My Spirit.
Ephesians 5:8-9 (AMP) “For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light]. For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Spirit [consists] in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and trueness of life.” Bev Robinson
October 2, 2012. Personally, I love to be around what I call “real” people. The Lord says, “Make My love tangible. Demonstrate to everyone the love I came with and continue to give. Represent Me wherever you are. Be the type of person people enjoy being around. Be an individual who is the same whether you are at work, church, at home or somewhere in between. Allow Me to be Jesus in you. Be a vessel of honor. Don’t draw attention to yourself; nevertheless allow Me to be noticeable. Since I have made My residence inside you, keep My light bright within you and be real.”
John 1:14 (NIV) “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Kevin Robinson
October 1, 2012. Renewed vigor is needed right now as we seek renewal in our lives and in our nation and even worldwide. Have you ever experienced spiritual renewal? Yesterday I drove through some mountains that startled me. On a previous trip through those mountains, they were freshly devastated by consuming fires, taking out trees and most vegetation. Everything looked brown or black. But yesterday, mountain after mountain was covered with fresh green growth. This being a very dry part of our state, it surely needed the continuous rains it has recently received. Do you need rain in your life? Are you in need of refreshment? If so, cry out to the heavens and beseech the Holy Spirit to send that rain into your life. Learn from the story of Jonathan below.
1 Samuel 14:25-27 (MSG) “There were honeycombs here and there in the fields. But no one so much as put his finger in the honey to taste it, for the soldiers to a man feared the curse. But Jonathan hadn’t heard his father put the army under oath. He stuck the tip of his staff into some honey and ate it. Refreshed, his eyes lit up with renewed vigor.” Ras Robinson
October 1, 2012. I know you are tired. When you are tired it is hard to see any good about much of anything. I know you are seeing many negatives now, but don’t give up. There is another way. You just can’t see the right way now. Now is not the time to go full speed ahead. Now is the time to slow your pace until a clearer way comes into view. You put too much on yourself to accomplish what you think needs to be done. If you will slow your pace and just go at the speed I say, the best way will come to you. Then you will succeed.
2 John 1:8 (AMP) “Look to yourselves (take care) that you may not lose (throw away or destroy) all that we and you have labored for, but that you may [persevere until you] win and receive back a perfect reward [in full].” Bev Robinson
October 1, 2012. Love and accept one another. Look through My eyes of love at the world around you. I came with compassion to a lost and dying world. I lived an example before you of proper conduct and behavior. Love unconditionally. Reach out to those around you who are suffering pain, shame, guilt, etc. You have been forgiven much. Act accordingly to the people you meet. To those who act, dress, walk, and talk differently than you do, demonstrate My love and acceptance. People want to know if you will receive them despite their flaws and scars. I was pierced, scarred, mocked and spat upon for you. Love again, again and again.
Matthew 7:1-2 (NIV) “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Kevin Robinson
