What the Lord is Saying Today – September 2012
September 30, 2012. Has God ever bailed you out of a bad situation? Has He saved you from death or danger? Let praise flow from your heart and life like a mighty river. Lift high His glorious name as you give Him thanks for all He has done for you. Someone has been healed of a major heart problem. Another person has been set free from an addictive habit. Your finances have been turned around from impending disaster to overflowing blessings. It is time to fill your heart with heavenly thoughts. Raise the level of your life by thinking on good things, especially those things God has already done for you. Confess and declare the greatness of your Lord and King.
Psalm 30:1-3 (NLT) “I will exalt you, LORD, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me. O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health. You brought me up from the grave, O LORD. You kept me from falling into the pit of death.” Ras Robinson
September 30, 2012. Some things are over that have been taking a lot of time. You’re saying now what do I do? Take a little time for yourself. You have been giving of your time and energy by being a channel of blessings to others. You have given out of what I supplied and it was all you had to give. Now it’s time to rest. Now it’s time to recoup. Do something for yourself. Give your mind another focus. When you do this it will recharge your mind, emotions and body. If you immediately get involved in something else it won’t be good. Rest and recharge and you’ll be ready to go again.
Hebrews 4:10-11 (NLT) “For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.” Bev Robinson
September 30, 2012. These are days of increased uncertainty where warfare seems constant. Battle readiness is important because you’re being bombarded from every possible angle in the natural. Just when you think you’re free and clear of the warfare, someone you know comes under attack too and is struggling big time. Satan and sin go together very well. Disassociate yourself from both Satan and sin. Watch out for those around you and cover each other’s back. Speak up and act accordingly when warning indicators scroll by. Make safety a serious priority. Do to others what you would want done to you. Be proactive with one another.
Hebrews 3:12-13 (NLT) “Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.” Kevin Robinson
September 29, 2012. Have you allowed lack of discipline to turn you into a rebel? Do you find more and more clever ways to avoid order and productivity? Have you become your own king, master and god? Surely you desire to serve and please your God. Right? His word clearly says that if you pursue being your own god and doing everything you desire whether it is from God or not, your end will not be good. Take this warning from One who loves you. He has chosen you to be the vessel of His glory and success in life. His desires for you are good and merciful. With that comes a love for you that is matchless.
Proverbs 29:1 (MSG) “For people who hate discipline and only get more stubborn, There’ll come a day when life tumbles in and they break, but by then it’ll be too late to help them.” Ras Robinson
September 29, 2012. Don’t quit. I know it is hard to keep on going when there seems to be no end in sight, but stay with what I have given you. There are some things you should quit that are not beneficial, but this is not one of them. Ask Me what to hold onto and what to let go. I know all things from beginning to end. I will give you wisdom and staying power to hold on. And I will give you release and a good sense of timing about the things you are to let go. You don’t want to be known as a quitter. Precious, you are not a quitter.
Acts 15:38 (AMP) “But Paul did not think it best to have along with them the one who had quit and deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone on with them to the work.” Bev Robinson
September 29, 2012. You confess and profess that you know Me. You pray to Me. You spend time quietly reading My word. Some of you keep a journal about what I AM speaking to you specifically. Most of you meet together . Perhaps you meet in a home or a location set apart for worship and teaching. Yet, you pick and choose which Scriptures are valid for today and which ones are not. My word is inspired by Me, period. Factions, divisions and falsehood have crept in among you. Some have established theology based on traditions of man and what they believe to be correct. Know Me completely. I AM LORD OF ALL!
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Kevin Robinson
September 28, 2012. God has healed you. There are no sick people in Heaven. When you die as a believer in Christ, you do not die but God has called you home. No sickness ever kills a believer. Instead, should sickness come to your door, refuse it until you have a word from God about His will and purpose for you. When you have His word and will, believe it in your heart. Confess it with your mouth as being so (e.g. yesterday’s daily word). Believing it puts you in agreement with God. Confessing it to be so releases healing. Bev and I continually state and confess that we are healthy, being healed and will live a long and good life. God first promised me that about 40 years ago. Though we have been through bouts with sickness, here we are, 77 years old and in good health, doing most of the things we have always done. God has healed you.
Romans 10:8-10 (NLT) “In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart. And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” Ras Robinson
September 28, 2012. Now is the time to push through. You have considered stopping or at least slowing down, thinking it would be much better than the way it is going now. The plan of action you are thinking about is not a good one. It will affect everything adversely. There needs to be consistency established for yourself and for someone else who is learning from you. Stay with what you are doing. Both of you will learn a big lesson from this, and won’t have to repeat it again. Think about not having to do it again and that alone will help you get through. You haven’t done anything wrong; just push through.
Romans 5:3-5 “And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Bev Robinson
September 28, 2012. Seek My face and humble yourself before Me. You have sought your ways and not Mine. You have become frustrated because the things you have prayed for did not happen as you desired. Stop striving and know that I AM God. Bow down before Me and confess your transgression not only for yourself, but for your nation as well. You’ve sat by and waited for someone else to shoulder the load. You weren’t willing to make sacrifices to see transformation emerge. Will you do anything no matter what the cost? You have been made holy as I AM holy. Approach Me with holy fear and awe. Humble yourself before Me.
Job 25:2 (NKJV) “Dominion and fear belong to Him; He makes peace in His high places.” Kevin Robinson
September 27, 2012. Some of us seem to find that being “jarred into turning things around” is what works best. It has been said for some people you can tell their breakthroughs in life by the knots you see on their head. Very few are easy learners and quick repenters. The rest of us need some jarring before we will surrender. The Apostle Paul was my kind of church leader. He said it straight and clear most of the time. You never need to wonder what he means. He allowed the Holy Spirit to lead him when correction was needed. Holy Spirit also had freedom to work wonders in Paul’s teaching of the Gospel. He even opened the door of salvation to the Gentiles, a very bold step.
2 Corinthians 7:9 (MSG) “Now I’m glad-not that you were upset, but that you were jarred into turning things around. You let the distress bring you to God, not drive you from him. The result was all gain, no loss.” Ras Robinson
September 27, 2012. Get your thoughts back in the thankful realm. You do not realize how destructive it is for you to continue thinking negatively. I am here to tell you this right now. If you keep thinking negative thoughts, they will eventually cause you many problems. No one knows fully your thoughts and your heart except Me. I know all. And I am giving you a warning. I made every atom to be positive with protons in the centre. There are the same number of neutrons as protons to keep the protons stable. Precious, I have given you the Holy Spirit to help keep you positive, stable and full of faith.
John 14:26-27 (NKJV) “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Bev Robinson
September 27, 2012. I am truth and I am life. I spoke and the world was formed . I spoke life into plants, animals, and mankind. My word is real and My word is from the beginning and knows no end. My word will not return void. Keep yourself from temporary things which can and will steal My joy and peace in your life. Invest your time in My word, and devote yourselves to Scripture memory. Know and speak My word with confidence. My word brings clarity and peace. Handling issues with your own words can lead to uncertainty and misinterpretation. My word carries all of Me and encompasses all things. Rely on My word.
Isaiah 40:8 (KJV) “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” Kevin Robinson
September 26, 2012. I am seeing someone being stubborn and unmovable in your ways and opinions? People might see you as hard, headstrong or unbending. Quite often, as time goes by and you learn more, you change your mind. But there is a tendency to believe that you are always right. Only Jesus was always right and perfect in all He said and did. He always said and did as His Father said and did. Do you have that status? I say to you, acquire knowledge and embrace wisdom as priceless as gold and silver. When more light is shined upon a subject, often you see that your first impressions were wrong. Isn’t it interesting how in wanting to be so perfect that your imperfections are spotlighted?
Hebrews 4:6-7 (NASB) “Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience, He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, “TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.” Ras Robinson
September 26, 2012. This is a time for patience. You are not sure what the immediate future holds, so wait on Me. This is not the time to act. It is a time to pray. Stay still. I know blessings are coming but this is a time when you don’t know how or what, so be still. Let your prayers accomplish what you cannot. I can do for you what you cannot do alone. Precious, I am sending out angels on your behalf. This will let you know there is never a time that I am not with you to bring about My purposes. My purposes are always better than what you do alone.
Hebrews 1:14 (MSG) “Isn’t it obvious that all angels are sent to help out with those lined up to receive salvation?” Bev Robinson
September 26, 2012. Embrace who you are. I formed you in your mother’s womb. I AM the one who orders your steps. I know the number of hairs on your head, and your fingerprints are unique to you and only you. Although you may feel insignificant at times, you were fearfully and wonderfully made by Me. In your strengths and weaknesses put your whole reliance, confidence and belief in and on Me. Do not shortchange yourself. Your sufficiency is found in Me and only Me. I am love and I love you. I believe in you. Will you believe in you? Embrace the fact that you’re in Me and I am in you.
Psalm 46:10(AMP) “Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! Kevin Robinson
September 25, 2012. A good friend shared this statement in his teaching on faith: “Say it is so, when it is not so, and it will be so, because it is so.” He believed this was how God created the earth and how Jesus called things into being in healing, salvation and deliverance. My son Kevin keeps asking me to repeat that quote to him because it fascinates and helps him so much. Quite often a reader will write and ask the question, “What do I do or what can I say to make my situation better.” My typical answer is something like, “Find out what God says about the matter and what He calls in about the situation in question. Then say what God says.” It works!
Genesis 1:3-4 (NLT) “Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.” Ras Robinson
September 25, 2012. Better days are coming. Don’t overreact to what is going on right now. Now is not the time to move forward. You will not slide backward. You will hold your ground. You are doing well and doing what you need to do to stay afloat. I am with you. Keep nuzzled in right next to Me and you will make it again. Haven’t you done so before? This is not your first time to go through something like this. Remember the times you have overcome and remember when you felt My presence so near. Do that this time. Keep Me as your main focus and you will make it again.
Psalms 103:17 (AMP) “But the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, and His righteousness is to children’s children.” Bev Robinson
September 25, 2012. Sing! Sing songs of praise! Worship Me in song! Sing old songs, sing new songs. Sing a new song which bubbles up out of your spirit that neither you nor I have ever heard before. Spontaneous worship in intimacy honors Me. Sing joyfully. Worship Me in spirit and in truth. Your songs are music to My ears. When you worship, worship Me and only Me. Worship Me with each other and worship Me when you are alone. Let your mind remember the times when I rescued you, when I healed you, when I didn’t give what you thought you deserved. Give thanks for who I AM.
Ephesians 5:18-21 (KJV) “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” Kevin Robinson
September 24, 2012. You tire of going from one crisis to another. It makes no sense to you why these things keep happening to you. You want to say, but fear it, “Lord, you know I’m into another mess from which I seem unable to escape.” Your baby is sick with more than one seemingly terminal disease. A husband is in the last stages of a fatal disease and immediate family and loved ones are calmly falling apart, keeping a stiff upper lift for the sake of others. A home has been re-possessed. Another lost job situation which is making things almost unbearable. It is as if you are under a blight or a curse. Only God can help. He alone has the needed power. Nothing, no nothing, keeps God from His children and especially His babies.
Psalm 54:1-2 (MSG) “…God, for your sake, help me! Use your influence to clear me. Listen, God-I’m desperate. Don’t be too busy to hear me.” Ras Robinson
September 24, 2012. Give your heart completely to Me. You don’t know why it is so difficult to do, but you’re holding back. I don’t condemn you in any way, but I know this is happening. The reason goes back to years when you felt you were abandoned. You were not abandoned even though in the natural it felt that way. In the spiritual you were not abandoned either and the spiritual is more important than the natural. I will never let you down, forsake or abandon you in any way. You can trust Me. Try Me and watch. In the long run I always do what is best.. Now look back. Didn’t I?
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Bev Robinson
September 24, 2012. Be willing to open up and be transparent. Quite often you wonder and speculate about what others are thinking. Be attentive to the struggles and needs of others. Be bold and take the first step with a trusted friend or confidant with whom you can share your struggles and pains. Take the initiative and share with others your shortcomings. Ask someone if you can pray for them. Most likely they will welcome your kindness and thoughtfulness. People long to be loved and cared for. A spiritual dynamic takes place in prayer . You and the other individual are both healed in ways far beyond your intellect . You have been made upright, therefore act righteously.
James 5:16 (NLT) “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” Kevin Robinson
September 23, 2012. I have noticed how you love your moments and even hours with Me in prayer. You are spending more and more time pouring over My Scriptures. Your actions cause My grace toward you to come gushing forth. I take My cup of joy and fill yours to overflowing. You are enamored with the beauty of My love. It causes you to break out in spontaneous laughter. You love My house! I feed you with the most choice morsels from the table of the Lord. I have noticed your head that has been drooping in discouragement. But now it is raised high. Your eyes are looking into to Mine now. I love you.
Psalm 23:5-6 (MSG) “You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life . I’m back home in the house of GOD for the rest of my life.” Ras Robinson
September 23, 2012. A test is happening. Passing this will propel you into greater realms. You have had other tests in the past even when they didn’t feel like tests. Through them you are getting to know Me better There is no need to worry. I know you will pass this one also. Anytime you receive My Word, there is a test. This is a big one and in the midst of this test is another test. This will cause you to have a stronger faith. Each test thrusts you higher. I show you I am fully with you and there is no need for any fear. You are an example of My grace
Proverbs 30:5 (NASB) “Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Bev Robinson
September 23, 2012. Build each other up instead of tearing one another down. You have been establishing negative patterns with your speech and your actions. Let Me be the one who does the judging, and not you. What you have called discernment is really judgment in disguise. You have become comfortable with your criticism of others who are part of My body. You act with one-sidedness, and favoritism towards those who think like you. Yet you counterfeit when you are in the presence of those you have spoken about negatively or have gossiped about to others. Search for and find positive attributes about those groups, individuals or denominations that are different from you.
Romans 2:1-2 (NLT) “You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things.” Kevin Robinson
September 22, 2012. I am showing you prophetic scenes of the future. In these scenes are people on the very hot desert floor. The people have heard from God that they are to travel the rest of the desert and then go up and over a tall mountain to the other side. They are all in unison beginning to shed some of their clothes and remove excess baggage and equipment. I am telling them to “travel light” in this season. Take only the very essential things, those things clearly necessary. Let not your focus be upon having with you this or that. Rather, prepare your hearts for the serious strain and difficulties you will surely face. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Strong and active faith will see you through.
Matthew 10:9-10 (MSG) “Don’t think you have to put on a fund-raising campaign before you start. You don’t need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment, and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day. Travel light. Luke 22:35 (MSG) Then Jesus said, “When I sent you out and told you to travel light, to take only the bare necessities, did you get along all right?” “Certainly,” they said, “we got along just fine.” Ras Robinson
September 22, 2012. Peace is all around you now. It feels so good. You feel so comfortable. Soak it in. Enjoy it. You wish it would stay like this, that there will never be another hard time. Think for a moment back to past experiences. Remember, it won’t remain this way forever. There will be other hard times, but don’t stop enjoying your present peace. You can know there will be other times of turmoil without dreading them. As you grow older you will understand this is just a way of life. I am training you to keep your emotions under control when circumstances are out of control. Self-controlled emotions are good for your health.
1 Peter 5:10 (AMP) “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.” Bev Robinson
September 22, 2012. I bring earth’s days and nights to approximately equal amounts of time during the spring and fall; and the earth is ever changing just like you. You can easily see the changes in trees, animals and people around you. Take time to glance back at your life and notice the transformation I have made within you. You are not the person you once were. Take note of the answered prayers to issues you thought were impossible. I AM Lord and I bring all things together for My glory. Offer thanksgiving and praise to Me for those things which didn’t come to pass and for those things that did.
Psalm 104:19 (NASB) “He made the moon for the seasons; the sun knows the place of its setting.” Kevin Robinson
September 21, 2012. This is a day to open your eyes and ears to what is going on around you. As I prayed this morning, I asked God to show me what is going on with His children that they are so under attack . He opened the veil of vision and showed me a house of someone in my own spiritual family. Outside the house, in the partial darkness of predawn, I saw a huge mane covering most of the head of this stalking lion. He was looking in the windows and doors to seek out and kill his selected prey. The adults and children inside the house were oblivious to this stalking lion who was seeking someone to devour . An angel spoke into the ears of the parents, “Praying is your only and your most powerful weapon. Use it now.”
1 Peter 5:8 (AMP)” Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.” Ras Robinson
September 21, 2012. Circumstances are in a mess. Things are not getting better; they’re getting worse. It is time to call everything to a halt. There are too many variables floating around, and confusion is abounding. You need to regroup and think back, starting from the beginning. But also work backward from where you are now. When your thoughts meet in the middle you will find the source of the problem. Someone is trying to take control and most are listening to what is being said . Calling a halt will not stop the control but will slow it down. You need to stay close to Me . I will show you how to overcome this.
Galatians 5:22-24 (NASB) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Bev Robinson
September 21, 2012. You are in the balance right now concerning some critical situations for yourself and possibly your family . A Scripture many people quote often is Proverbs 3:5-6. It reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” People have always been looking for answers to the big decisions in life. The Lord says, “Let Me guide every move you make. Pursue My peace and let Me settle your heart and mind. Take steps of faith like Abraham and Moses. Let Me be the final answer to your questions.”
Isaiah 9:6 (NLT) “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Kevin Robinson
September 20, 2012. You are having a difficult time believing God is as generous and forgiving as He is. Because of this, your faith has not been strong enough to break through your doubt and unbelief at the goodness of your God. To think that God can and will fulfill your heart’s desire seems absurd because of your many, many unanswered prayers. The truth is that when your desires convert to the Lord’s desires for you, it is His promise to fulfill His will and word. Joshua’s desires became aligned with God’s desires. How? Joshua meditated day and night on the word of God. That same principle still holds true today. The Lord wants you to seek Him in His word and in prayer day and night. Believe Him and He will deliver.
Psalm 20:4-5 (NASB) “May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your counsel! We will sing for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.” Ras Robinson
September 20, 2012. There is a problem which is slowly evolving. It has been going on for some time but it has not seemed to be affecting much on the surface. Deep down there is a slow moving current. It will have to be eventually dealt with. This will slowly surface and a pronounced problem will arise. I am bringing this to your attention now, but you will later suddenly see. Don’t panic when you see it. This will be the time you need to tell Me specifically what you see and understand. The Holy Spirit, as well as someone in the natural, will be your teacher. The problem will be solved and blessings will come.
John 14:26-27 (NLT) “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative-that is, the Holy Spirit-he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. “I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” Bev Robinson
September 20, 2012. Release all your burdens to Me. Do not be selective on which ones you should hang onto. Some of you are wearing yourselves out by speculating about what the outcomes might have been or will be. The stresses of past, current, and future situations are giving you migraine headaches, neck and back pain, sleepless nights and an inordinate amount of fatigue throughout the day. Choose today to get out from under the yokes of heaviness. Don’t sweat the small stuff, because it’s all small stuff. Trust Me with all of your cares. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Each and every day, turn loose of it all.
Galatians 5:1 (NASB) “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Kevin Robinson
September 19, 2012. I am the God of difficulties and impossibilities. Nothing is too difficult for Me. I am aware of the elderly person and others who are devoid of all savings and with no job. The orphan and widow still depend upon Me . I am the Good Shepherd for the wayward and the estranged mate . Only I can change a person’s heart to repent of being rebellious and irresponsible. My mercy never runs dry. Neither does My grace expire. I am the God of love and compassion. No one is more patient with the wayward than I. My covenant with My children can never be reversed or revoked . I am the forever lover of the souls of men. I say unto you, fast and pray unceasingly.
Hebrews 4:16 (NLT) “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Ras Robinson
September 19, 2012. Relationships are important to you, and you are very good at them. But you feel you have lagged. You wonder what to do. You are involved in a lot more than you once were and can’t keep up with as many people as you would like to. You pray for them when they come to mind. Feeling guilt is not good. It is false guilt and will cause you sadness if you let it remain. Cast it off you and get back into My peace. I know you will pick up right where you left off when you get together. Precious, they know that too and are sure of your love.
1 John 4:7 (AMP) “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].” Bev Robinson
September 19, 2012. There is abundantly more I want to reveal to you. There are dimensions far beyond the scope of what your natural senses can realize. I cannot be put in a box, nor can I be contained in any form or fashion. Occasionally I give you glimpses of other realms and dimensions which you know not. Ask Me to broaden your mind of conventional thinking so you can know Me from outside the box of common thinking. Because of repetitive patterns in your life, you have been somewhat lulled to sleep. Would you venture from your same old routine or are you content with the status quo? There is so much more.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NASB) “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” Kevin Robinson
September 18, 2012. It is common for some of the youth and young adults of today to make most any comment with one of the following prefixes: “Me and George;” “Me and my children;” Me and …” The emphasis is on “Me.” Those youth are raising their children in this same atmosphere of “Me.” It is a stretch to see any humility in this orientation. Some wives and mothers with a caring and generous husband and father speak in the first person about their children, possessions and so on. Husbands and fathers of the same generation do the same. But the Scriptures teach humility for believers. Ask yourself if you portray a genuine heart and life of humility.
Psalm 18:27 (NLT) “You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud.” Ras Robinson
September 18, 2012. You are concerned about finances. No, you are more than concerned; you are very worried. There has been a change in income and you are not sure how to adjust. You know you have to change some spending but you don’t know how because all the money is already called for. Instead of worrying tell Me all of your concerns in detail. This will help get you out of the worrying column and into a place where you can begin to hear Me. Ask Me for wisdom. Don’t move too quickly. Don’t jump to conclusions. Listen to what I say. I have an answer for one step at a time.
James 1:5-7 (MSG) “If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way.” Bev Robinson
September 18, 2012. Through My flesh and shed blood sacrifice, you have been brought up close. If not for My grace and mercy you would not be co-heirs. Therefore, since you have been granted grace through the new covenant, walk in unity with one another . Make peace with those who see Me from a different perspective than you do. I have broken down the barriers which have separated you in the past. Walk with those around you in a peaceful manner. Embrace one another and walk together as one. Don’t look down upon each other with enmity. Recognize who I’ve made all of you to be. I AM one God and you are one body.
Ephesians 2:16-18 (MSG) “Christ brought us together through his death on the cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.” Kevin Robinson
September 17, 2012. Today, while seeking the Lord, I heard from Him these words, “You will soon encounter new trials never before faced. New things will manifest causing you great challenge to overcome. I tell you nothing will be impossible for you. At first you may become bewildered, but in time you will gain understanding and wisdom to gain victory over all that comes against you. As I told Joshua to meditate night and day on My scriptures, I tell you the same. There are giants in the land, both plenteous and powerful. Each can be fierce but they can also be defeated and destroyed. Remember, this is not your battle but Mine. Look to Me as your mighty warrior. Victory comes to the diligent and faithful who purify and sanctify themselves. Now you have been warned. This kind will come out only by prayers and fasting.”
Psalm 18:1-2 (MSG) “A David song, which he sang to God after being saved from all his enemies and from Saul. I love you, GOD- you make me strong. GOD is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight. My God-the high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the boulders, safe in the granite hideout.” Ras Robinson
September 17, 2012. You are facing a disappointment and are trying to cover it because you don’t want anyone to know how disappointed you really are. You had so hoped it would not be this way but it is. Right now you do not see at all how this is good or even how it can turn out good later. There is nothing you can do about it now. It is going to take some time before you will see what has happened is the best. There is nothing you can do about it now. I see your heart and I know the pain you are in. Let Me minister to you. Precious, I love you.
Romans 8:28 (AMP) “We are assured and know that [ God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” Bev Robinson
September 17, 2012. A paradigm shift for me when I was young was realizing Christ’s blood could cleanse me from all my unrighteousness . I wondered how the blood of Jesus could wash me and make me whiter than snow. Seriously, how could it turn red into white? It was easy for me to see how white could turn to red because I could see stains on white clothes. It was yet another step of faith on my part toward kingdom living . The Lord says, “Let the realization of what I say transform your whole world . Everything I say is the truth. Ask Me to reveal the supernatural like you are able to see the natural.”
John 8:32 (NIV) “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Kevin Robinson
September 16, 2012. After some concerted prayer about this word today, this is what I believe the Lord said to me. “I did a miracle in birthing the assembling of My family of believers. I knew the world and all it has to offer would be hostile to My family. I knew persecution would abound. I also knew if the assembled ones would let Jesus be Lord in everything, there would be glorious victories that would change the world forever . My intentions were that My disciples would heal the sick, cast out demons and make disciples of all nations. I even sent the Holy Spirit to teach, train, lead and keep the focus on My Son, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in the world.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 (AMP) “And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.” Ras Robinson
September 16, 2012. A change is coming and it is coming soon. There is no need to prepare because there is nothing you can do about it now except be ready with your mind and emotions. It will affect you in ways you haven’t thought about, but don’t speculate about it because you won’t be able to figure it out and it will only lead to worry. It will come suddenly, but if you take it one day at a time there will not be a great disruption. Deep down you have known it is coming and have done some preparation. Continue trusting Me and I will get you through this time.
Jeremiah 18:7-10 (NLT) “If I announce that a certain nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down, and destroyed, but then that nation renounces its evil ways, I will not destroy it as I had planned. And if I announce that I will plant and build up a certain nation or kingdom, but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey me, I will not bless it as I said I would.” Bev Robinson
September 16, 2012. My sister Robin has amazing tenacity. When times get tough, she gets tougher. She pushes past obstacles such as fatigue, sickness, and very stressful situations in order to lead our church in praise and worship every Sunday. Many people find it easy to stay at home when times get irregular or hard. However, Robin knows the value of pushing through in the harshest situations. Her actions cause her to be stronger and frustrates Satan immensely. For me personally some of my greatest breakthroughs have come at my weakest moments. The Lord says, “Don’t let temporary setbacks rob you of a blessing. Never quit. Persevere in the midst of storms.”
1 Peter 5:10 (NLT) “In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. Kevin Robinson
September 15, 2012. Look! It is right in front of you. The Lord is calling His children to be alert and searching today. These are perilous and treacherous times. We are having attack after attack on our embassies in the Middle East. A diplomat and other Americans have been murdered or injured. The attacks continue. Here is the word of the Lord for today, “What you are to be looking for is right in front of you.” The Scriptures teach and command us to “watch and pray” continuously. We are to open our eyes much like the prophets of old were taught to be “seers” first before they prophesied. Some today are more seer than prophet or prophetess. That is a good thing. The Lord promises to “pull back the curtain and veil” so that we may see and be warned . Look!
Proverbs 8:34-35 “Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates. waiting at my doorposts. For he who finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord.” Ras Robinson
September 15, 2012. Don’t spend any time in worry. Worry is not good for you. I know you have heard this before but I am telling you again. It isn’t good for the systems of your body and if you disregard this and continue worrying you will begin noticing it physically. Yes, you can reverse this action, but if you take too long it is hard to reverse. I have made atoms and everything else positive in the middle. When you get off the positive thoughts, you get out of balance. It is all right to assess things and people and be honest about it, but then get back to the positive thoughts quickly.
Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
September 15, 2012. Former U.S. President John F. Kennedy uttered these words in his Inaugural Address, on January 20, 1961 . “And so, my fellow American’s: ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.” An observation I’ve made in regard to our society is people want to be served and get frustrated when they aren’t waited on immediately. The Lord says, “What steps are you willing to take in order to see My kingdom revealed? Be the first to serve.”
1 Samuel 12:23-24 (NKJV) “Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.” Kevin Robinson
September 14, 2012. Under the trees in our front yard is an accumulation of small limbs and related debris. The Lord said this morning to me, “I have called you to prepare the way for the Lord to come. And come He will. The time of His coming is closer than ever. Your job is to get the road ready and to hoist high a flag. Go to all places where there is or might be debris and clean it out for the Lord to come. Accumulated debris is an abomination to Me when you have the power and energy to clear and clean it up. Consider this to be a holy place where the Lord will soon walk. So get going and clean up the debris.”
Isaiah 62:10 (MSG) “Walk out of the gates. Get going! Get the road ready for the people. Build the highway . Get at it! Clear the debris, hoist high a flag, a signal to all peoples!”
2 Chronicles 29:16 (MSG) “The priests started from the inside and worked out; they emptied the place of the accumulation of defiling junk-pagan rubbish that had no business in that holy place-and the Levites hauled it off to the Kidron Valley.” Ras Robinson
September 14, 2012. You have not forgotten the forgotten ones. This pleases Me, precious one. I have not forgotten them. I see all they do and all they go through. They need someone to champion them and this you do. When they know that someone in another land loves and cares, it raises their hope and faith. They fear that one day they will be dismissed and forgotten. You have seen that and pray it will never happen. That too pleases Me. You remember when it was important to you that you were thought about, loved and cared for by those who knew so little about you. It changed your life. It will change theirs too.
Psalms 12:5-6 (NLT) “The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” The Lord’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over.” Bev Robinson
September 14, 2012. Exciting, sensational, thrilling, stimulating, motivating, extraordinary and the list could on and on. Those are just a few adjectives which should describe the life of a Christian. Even in the midst of turmoil which we all encounter, our lives should exude an atmosphere of all the fruit of Holy Spirit. Years ago, I was with a group of friends eating out at a restaurant. We were having an awesome time of fellowship and fun. There was so much laughter that another patron came to our table asking what we were drinking. Water in this case. What are you portraying to those around you? The Lord says, “Live life to the fullest.”
Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) “And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” Kevin Robinson
September 13, 2012. Out west in America, people are applauded for “shooting straight.” Another term often said about people who “tell it like it is” is that you can count on them to do business and communicate in a “straight up” manner. Some of these saying were strange and trite to us when our family first moved to Texas many years ago. Now we come to expect our relationship to be characterized by truth with no mixture. Some get a little too abrupt in their straight forward talking, even to be corrective and abrasive. A good person usually knows God and delights in being His child and thus treats other believers like brothers and sisters. That goes down well. We have come to a place where we do not tolerate devious schemers and slick willies. God shoots straight with us. Why don’t we just shoot straight with others?
Proverbs 12:2 (MSG) “A good person basks in the delight of GOD, and he wants nothing to do with devious schemers.” Ras Robinson
September 13, 2012. Now it’s time to stake stock. If you don’t do it now it will hinder what happens later. Actions are happening so fast and steps will be left out if you don’t find out exactly where you are and what yet needs to be done. Record what you have and then what you think you need. It’s important to do a good job now but it’s also in preparation for what is ahead. If you knew what is coming it would be difficult to believe how good it will be. But don’t concentrate on the future. Do what is just before you and the future as glorious as it is will happen.
Philippians 4:19 (AMP) “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
September 13, 2012. Be about being obedient. My Son had pinpoint obedience in everything He did while He was on the Earth and He continues to operate that way with Me as He sits at My right hand. He is literally positioned in the proper place of authority. He was and is a man who completely understands the value of submission. He respects Me as the authority in His life, so that We have a win/win scenario in all We do. I gave and continue to give guidance and direction for Jesus to accomplish My desires, and He assures Me that My plans will be completely fulfilled and accomplished. Position yourself underneath My authority.
Deuteronomy 4:1 (NASB) “Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you may live and go in and take possession of the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you.” Kevin Robinson
September 12, 2012. Notice how cleverly the poor of our day are oppressed by the treacherous ones who don’t really care. It has always been so as it is today. But it hurts our Lord to see the poor, the down and out and the homeless suffer. His heart especially goes out to the children with growling bellies who try to sit in a class room and learn. The heart of the true Shepherd identifies totally with the hovels or open shelters of the poor. After a while the Great Shepherd says, “I’ve had enough. I’m on my way to heal the ache in the heart of the wretched.” In just one week our readers have poured out funds and prayers to “Feed Hungry Children.” God is pleased when we hurt and join in with the heart of the Great Shepherd. Would you join in His pure words and deeds?
Psalm 12:5-6 (MSG) “Into the hovels of the poor, into the dark streets where the homeless groan, God speaks: “I’ve had enough; I’m on my way to heal the ache in the heart of the wretched.” God’s words are pure words, pure silver words refined seven times In the fires of his word-kiln, pure on earth as well as in heaven.” Ras Robinson
September 12, 20I2 I see you enjoying getting back to normal. What a good feeling. Normal activities will bring you peace and security. Your life has been on another track. That is over now. What you need is some of what some would think is dull and routine, but it is exactly what you need. Normal is the crux of life. How you act now is what sets the table on which you eat every day. The sounds, smell and sights are what refresh you and make you feel at home. If you are at peace it will wash over the rest of your life and give you impetus for things to come.
2 Chronicles 8:14 (MLB) “According to the ordinance of David his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their duties of praising and ministering before the priests in the daily routine, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate, for this had been the command of David, the man of God.” Bev Robinson
September 12, 2012. I have a close friend who has four children, three of which are still at home, and two grandchildren she watches most weekends. She works part-time, and has maintained a 4.0 GPA for over two years toward a degree in nursing. And she continues to make time for church. At our church she dances before the Lord like none other and is a true worshipper. She told me this past Sunday that her classes were the hardest she has ever had and she didn’t feel she had time for church. Yet she still came. The Lord says, “In the midst of it all, offer up to Me a sacrifice of praise!”
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 13:15-16 (NIV) “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Kevin Robinson
September 11, 2012. Our pastors and leadership team have all agreed that our church will be invited to fast 40 days before our national election day November 6. Our fast begins on September 28 when all believers are invited to join in with us). Our pastors and leaders have agreed to begin preparing for the 40 day fast by fasting on Wednesdays between now and September 28. The focus will be to raise a standard of righteousness and morality at all levels in our government and population. It will be a time of needed discipline and repentance. Emphasis will focus on personal and corporate revival of soul and spirit. May God be pleased and reward our nation and its people.
Matthew 6:16-18 (NLT) “And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get . But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face. Then no one will notice that you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private . And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Ras Robinson
September 11, 2012. I went fishing yesterday and didn’t drink enough water, because I was so engrossed in my fishing. Suddenly I was ravenously thirsty. It seemed like I couldn’t drink fast enough. The cold water tasted so good. When you get that thirsty there is nothing as satisfying as cold water. Jesus said when we trust and rely on Him the Holy Spirit would flow out of us like streams and rivers of living water . “Are you letting the Holy Spirit gush forth from you to satisfy those close to you? Can they come to you for refreshment? Trust in Me so deeply that the Spirit flows from you to others you love.”
John 7:38-39 (AMP) “He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).” Bev Robinson
September 11, 2012. Wow, it does not feel like it has been eleven years since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centers, Pentagon, and aboard flight 93 which crashed in Pennsylvania. Most if not all of us can probably recall with great clarity, where we were on that fateful day in history. After the tragedy, so many people flew their United States flags showing signs of solidarity. People seldom fly those flags anymore. We have lost our sense of urgency and have begun to rest on our watch. The Lord says, “Stay on the lookout. Keep your senses on high alert at all times. Operate diligently with wisdom and discernment throughout each day.”
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NASB) “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.” Kevin Robinson
September 10, 2012. “Give us this day, our daily bread” for hundreds of hungry Filipino children on four islands in 22 locations and with 22 overseeing pastors, was not what I had faith to do. Our ministry to them began in 2001. My faith at that time was to educate the children and make Christian disciples of them. But God later said “The children are undernourished; they need food.” For this we would need “Feed Hungry Children Faith Partners” to give monthly. A few people kept asking, “When are you going to start feeding the children? With empty bellies their learning ability is limited. Feed them something! They live on garbage dumpsites, under bridges and on city streets and have little to eat. Why don’t you have faith to feed them?” Two years ago, I “bit the bullet” and prepared a budget. The amount was staggering and scary. We need $20 monthly per child to “Feed Hungry Children” two small meals each school day and one full nutritious meal on the weekend.
Matthew 6:11 (KJV) “Give us this day our daily bread.” Ras Robinson
September 10, 2012. Get back in the groove you were in. You once made great strides and you can do it again. Do what I say and watch. Keep your thoughts in My victorious realm. You are guided by your thoughts even though at times it doesn’t seem like it makes such a difference. Yes it does. It makes a great difference. Keep your thoughts in the positive directed toward what you want to accomplish deep within and watch what happens. It will be a lesson to you that you can apply to many other things. I have called you to be the head and not the tail. My child you will be victorious.
Deuteronomy 28:13 (AMP) “And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful.” Bev Robinson
September 10, 2012. May it always be said of us as followers of Jesus Christ that we be found hardworking and thorough in every task set before us. Let us be found showing honor and acting with dignity as His representatives in everything. We are sons and daughters of the Most High and One True God. We are not cowards, yet we are peaceful in all we do. We are faithful to the great commission he has given us. We may be small, but we are strong and mighty like David. Be alert, and be ready to give an apt response when the opportunity arises. Let us faithfully remain in His Word daily.
2 Timothy 2:15 (NLT) “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” Kevin Robinson
September 9, 2012. Making a disciple of Jesus is a work of the Holy Spirit and not of man. For by grace you have been saved through faith and not by works, lest any man should boast. It is a gift of God. Too often we interpret what we call “The Great Commission” to be that of evangelizing the lost in every nation. Scripture does not say that we are to evangelize the nations but rather to “make disciples” of all nations. A disciple is not just the immediate effect of accepting Christ as your personal Savior. Rather, accepting Christ is only the first step of becoming one of His disciples. Making a disciple begins before conversion and lasts a lifetime. Making nations to be disciples of Jesus is a serious challenge of enormous magnitude. If it were not achievable, Jesus would not have commanded it for believers. Pray about it and obey. Allow the Holy Spirit to call and lead you.
Matthew 28:18-20 (NASB) “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ” All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Ras Robinson
September 9, 2012. This is a new day. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is on its way. Make the most of this day right now. Don’t worry about the past. Do what I say today and be ready to do the same tomorrow. Don’t lag behind Me or get ahead of Me. If you will stay close under My wing and listen to My voice, you will see things that you have only dreamed about. You have wondered if this day would ever come. It is here, precious one. Don’t let it pass you by. Stay close in tune with Me and it won’t. The devil wants it to pass. You are doing this right.
2 Corinthians 6:2 (NLT) “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you. Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.” Bev Robinson
September 9, 2012. Passion energizes our emotions into very strong feelings about a person or thing. The word passion comes from the ancient Greek verb (paskho) meaning to suffer. Passion is often used in the setting of romance, yet it is also what gives us the enthusiasm and eager interest to do much of what we are compelled to do. The Lords says, “You are My passion. With great joy, I formed you in your mother’s womb. I would do anything for you. I died on the cross for you. It’s My passion for you which caused Me to be resurrected. Know Me as I know you. Move with My same passion.”
1 Corinthians 2:10-12 (NLT) “Butit was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” Kevin Robinson
September 8, 2012. Do you like good fruit? It can be such a delight to the taste buds, can it not? As time goes by you notice that a part of being healthy is to include fruit in your diet. On the other hand, trying to enjoy a piece of bad or rotten fruit is disgusting. Right? Here is a good project for you. Next time you are at church or any other social gathering, see how many people there remind you of a good fruit you enjoy. How about telling them what you see and sense and why. It can transform relationships and help grow friends. Another thing is to look at your own life and demeanor and ask yourself the question, what kind of fruit am I bearing? God’s gifts are good and are to delight the soul. He makes good trees and good fruit.
Luke 6:44-45 (NASB) “For each tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.” Ras Robinson
September 8, 2012. Trying to figure out what needs to be done and with whom it is to be done apart from Me is fruitless. If I am not followed, what is done will not amount to something which will last. Time will be spent that amounts to nothing. It will be like looking for something and someone while going down a dead end street with no buildings and where no one lives. I want you to be successful. What I have planned is so good and will be so meaningful to so many; you and others will be amazed. I am bringing the right person to help. Blessings will come to you both.
Psalms 139:5-6 (NLT) “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” Bev Robinson
September 8, 2012. It has happened before and can happen again. In our nation, there’s been an inordinate divide in the political realm between the liberal and conservative platforms. The first amendment to our nations constitution, established that congress could not impede the establishment of religion, freedom of speech, press or right to peacefully assemble. We were formed as one nation under God. Now the principles of our founding fathers are in question. The warfare we’re experiencing isn’t against flesh and blood; it is intense warfare in the heavens. The Lord says, “Pray like you have never prayed for before. Humble yourselves before Me. Ask Me for peace and unity to come again.”
Ezekiel 37:15-17,22 (NASB) “The word of the Lord came again to me saying, and you, son of man, take for yourself one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’ …. Then join them for yourself one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand… and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations and no longer be divided into two kingdoms.” Kevin Robinson
September 6, 2012. Yesterday, I visited Christ in the Desert Monastery in Abiquiu, New Mexico. The drive off the main highway is about 15 miles on a single lane gravel road. The environment is harsh and dry desert with sparse vegetation. The monastery is a beautiful tribute to good architecture. Staying only through the day, I experienced the Lord Jesus in a unique and holy way. After a while the gnarly, natural edifices surrounding the monastery began to have a quiet beauty all their own. It was a glorious retreat from modernity and into stark, natural charm and glory. The Lord said to me, “Seek Me while I may be found. I reside in the glory of clouds, deserts, oceans, streams, rocks and in My children everywhere. All cry out to Me in praise. You saw and heard it, didn’t you? Testify of Me and these things.”
Deuteronomy 4:29 (MSG) “But even there, if you seek GOD, your God, you’ll be able to find him if you’re serious, looking for him with your whole heart and soul.” Isaiah 55:6 (NASB)” Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.” Ras Robinson
September 6, 2012. Thoughts have been building up in your mind and you are wondering if you should express them. Yes you need to get them off your mind. But not in the way you are thinking right now. There are some you should express and some you shouldn’t. If you say all you are thinking it won’t be good. Right now you have too much emotion and the person will not hear, but will instead respond negatively to your emotion. Don’t explode and don’t stuff your feeling. Tell all to Me. That will calm you and enable you to share what needs to be known at a later time. I’ll show you when.
James 1:19-20 (NLT) “Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.” Bev Robinson
September 6, 2012. You are where you are because of My grace and mercy in your life. Even though you may have seen, heard or experienced signs, wonders, and miracles, those experiences don’t make you more special than those who haven’t. Even My own disciples didn’t have full understanding of what I came to accomplish while I was on Earth. Be careful not to force your own belief structure upon others and consequently alienate them. Make room for those individuals among you who have to see in order to believe. We all encounter people like My disciple Thomas. Exhibit longsuffering with those you walk with. Represent the fruit of My patience to all people.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NASB) “Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,” Kevin Robinson
September 5, 2012. Children are some of the best teachers in our lives. They see the simplicity of life and avoid the complex like a plague. If they get hurt they heal quickly. Because they trust those they love, they can be abused in very damaging ways. With proper protection, children can be the happiest of God’s creatures. Children can easily see almost everyone nearby as a neighbor. Do you remember “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood,” a very popular children’s TV show for many years? He started off each show with the question, “Would you be my neighbor?” Most kids answered “Yes.” Who do you know near and far? They are your neighbors. God loves us all the same, including YOU!
Matthew 5:43-45 (NLT) “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.” Ras Robinson
September 5, 2012. New Age and some Eastern religions where meditation is practiced have seized the day because much of the organized church has dismissed the supernatural . Consider that Christianity is rooted in the Middle East. Hebrew words for meditation appear several times in the Old Testament, and Greek words two times in the New Testament. Once by Jesus (Luke 21:14) and another by Paul (1Timothy 4:15.) “Take time to meditate. Absorb your mind and being in Me, My ways and My Scripture. You will see insights in ways you have not yet seen. You will find wisdom and answers to questions you have not even thought of. Spend time with Me.
1 Timothy 4:15 (NKJV) “Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” Bev Robinson
September 5, 2012. Three words “I love you” have such a dynamic, life changing effect upon people that their outlook on life changes dramatically. Those three simple words affect the atmosphere like nothing else. Everyone wants to be loved and accepted for who they are. People will do almost anything to get someone to notice them and they yearn for acknowledgment. People wonder within themselves, “Do I really matter?” The words, “I love you,” can radically transform a heart of stone into a heart of compassion. God says, “Because you’ve received My Son’s eternal love within your heart, be a beacon of My love to a lost and hurting world. Be about loving one another.
1 John 4:7-8 (NKJV) “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. Kevin Robinson
September 4, 2012. We are amazed at our children. I have sought to inspire and instill in them a passionate love for God and hunger for straight up practical wisdom. Are you teaching your children to love God like David loved Him (reading Psalms daily will do it)? Would you say you are seeking to impart and instigate practical wisdom into your offspring like Solomon’s wisdom (reading proverbs daily will do it)? It is never too late to begin. When we moved to Texas Robin was 16, Kevin was 14. God told me to begin with assignments to be reported on during week-day breakfasts. Both saw our love for God’s word and devotion to it. Both are righteous believers today! To God be the glory.
Proverbs 2:1-4 (NLT) “My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.” Ras Robinson
September 4, 2012. A challenge is up coming. There is a possibility of division, and I know you don’t like working through things of that nature. You experienced a lot of division growing up and don’t want that. You thrive on inclusion rather than division and this is good. The first thing you need to do is give the whole situation to Me. Surrender to Me and trust me to work this out. Continuing trust gets it off your mind and builds faith in Me. I have a plan and it is a good plan. Ask for wisdom and then do what I put in your mind. I will work with the others. Surrendering to Me brings peace.
Proverbs 3:5-8 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” Bev Robinson
September 4, 2012. Which way will it be, peaceful or judgmental? I would have you live with a mindset of black or white. Steer clear of gray areas in your life which can lead you into temptation. Forgive others as I have forgiven you. People really don’t know what they do. Let My divine light enter into the dark areas where you have struggled within your heart. Ask Me to reveal the past judgments you have made toward brothers and sisters in Me. Satan wants you to dwell in the past. Stop making conclusions based on what you’ve partially seen or supposedly heard. Make the choice to live in the present. Live life victoriously.
Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT) “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.” Kevin Robinson
September 3, 2012. Basic disciplines anchored in biblical principles should guide your life. No olympic gold medalist ever attained to greatness without discipline and hard work. King David was a medalist in many areas of his life as a: worshipper, warrior, ruler and friend of God. His morning discipline was to cry out to God in prayer and eagerly watch. He watched and listened when he prayed, believing God heard him and would respond. The hand of God’s favor enshrouded him all the days of his life. My mother, being my daily example, I learned as a young teenager to read as she read and pray as she prayed. Like David, she influenced generations in her disciplines. I taught my two children the same. The Lord says, “Do the good things of your heritage. It is never too late.”
Psalm 5:3 (NASB) “In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.” Ras Robinson
September 3, 2012. My husband Ras loves as much as anyone I know. He first loves God and then he loves me and our family. His eyes twinkle and his smile broadens when children and young people are mentioned. He loves older people and those in between. A leader in the body of Christ once dubbed him as an apostle of love. “Can it be said of you that you are a lover of My people and those who are lost? Have you forgiven those who hurt you and do you continue to forgive? This is what I want you to work on the most. My Scripture says love is the royal Law.”
James 2:8 (AMP) “If indeed you [really] fulfill the royal Law in accordance with the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as [you love] yourself, you do well.” Bev Robinson
September 3, 2012. My parents know the value of immersing themselves in the Bible daily. When I was young, each morning I awoke to find them independently submerged in His word. Their actions spoke louder than words ever could. Yesterday, while I was out in the middle of a field in southwest Texas, He brought to mind those things I was taught. Though I’ve often read a Psalm and Proverb according to the day of the month for over 40 years, they still speak something fresh to me. The Lord says, “What are you embracing? What discipline are you establishing within yourself today? Though it is not law, search for Me and find Me wherever you are.”
Psalm 2:11-12 (NKJV) “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Kevin Robinson
September 2, 2012. In 2001, my precious son and I took a memory making trip to see my living siblings (3 sisters) and document some of our heritage. My brother and oldest sister had already passed. Two of my sisters specifically had high praises for my father and mother. The oldest of the living sisters could not remember a cross word between our parents. She said they only had good things to say about each other. What a blessing. My maternal grandfather and grandmother had inscribed on their grave markers “To God be the glory.” We even re-enacted and documented my open vision beside the grave of my first wife and son when God showed me them in Heaven. That vision, when I was only 20 years old, has guided me 45 years to minister God’s love to people everywhere. To God be the glory.
Psalm 133:1-3 (MSG) “A pilgrim song of David How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along! It’s like costly anointing oil flowing down head and beard, Flowing down Aaron’s beard, flowing down the collar of his priestly robes. It’s like the dew on Mount Hermon flowing down the slopes of Zion. Yes, that’s where GOD commands the blessing, ordains eternal life.” Ras Robinson
September 2, 2012. Now is a time for rest. You aren’t your usual chipper self and this is a key to let you know you need rest. You are okay; nothing big is going on. It is just time for rest. All go through cycles in life and you can push through, but do so at a quieter pace. Listen to your body and listen to Me. I will tell you what you need to do. Sleep is good. Sleep rests your body. I have made the body to heal itself but you have to work with your body. Be more aware that it is being healed than it is out of sync. Rest my child.
Philippians 4:8-9 (MSG) “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious-the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Bev Robinson
September 2, 2012. You have something stuck in your mind right now. You feel you can manipulate the outcome of a particular situation you are dealing with. With enough time and effort you believe you can, in your own arrogant self-righteous way, drastically cause change to occur. The truth is only I can alter the events and elements which surround you. There is a role you play and it’s found through humility. I am the one who dictates what and where the outcome will be according to My will. I encourage you to acknowledge Me and get your mindset in line with Mine. Let My ways be established in your heart. Pray with Me.
Romans 8:28 (NASB) “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Kevin Robinson
September 1, 2012. Something very positive has swept over us. Hallelujah to the King of Kings – Jesus. The pall of gloom and disturbing uncertainty has lifted, chased by a fresh wind of the Spirit. Finding and following Jesus is the certainty of direction you need. Welcome and speak with the Holy Spirit about this. He alone makes sure all glory and power goes to our Lord for situations in which we find ourselves. Jesus sent Holy Spirit as our Helper and said He would be just like Jesus, assuring us that we would never be alone. Implore the Spirit, strongly invite His presence. He changes everything and gives clear direction. Conduct your life being led by the Holy Spirit. Be a Spirit-led disciple.
Romans 8:14 (NLT) “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” Ras Robinson
September 1, 2012. Physics experiments have proven we are all connected. There has not yet been an instrument to see this. It’s like before a microscope was invented; people could not see what we now see so clearly. Many have contacted me saying, “How can you address so specifically what is going on in my life? It’s like you are sitting in my living room, bedroom or kitchen. Quantum physics calls this “entanglement.” Scripture calls it being connected. “You feel alone, but I will never leave you.” There are also others who supernaturally know what you are going through and are standing firmly with you because they are going through the same.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NIV) “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings” Bev Robinson
September 1, 2012. Step back from where you are right now. Notice how many things you’ve been trying to juggle at one time. You have started many projects, having only the best intentions in mind and you’re having difficulty completing them in a timely manner. However, you have become overwhelmed and you’re feeling defeated. You have become discouraged because you don’t know where or when to start. It’s time to prioritize the jobs at hand. Assess your situations and make a plan of attack concerning these issues. Ask Me for My wisdom on how you are to accomplish each item on your list. I will surely help you in the matters which lay ahead.
Proverbs 19:21 (NASB) “Many plans are in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the LORD will stand.” Kevin Robinson
