What the Lord is Saying Today – August 2012
August 31, 2012. Can a nation be changed through prayer and fasting? Isaiah 58:1-12 reveals how prayer and fasting can change a nation. Join with us and thousands of readers and subscribers to this daily word and begin to focus on prayer and fasting? The Lord promises: “And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell.” Let us commit to 40 days of fasting and prayer, beginning September 14. (REGISTER below to begin September 14)
Isaiah 58:8 (NASB) “Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your recovery will speedily spring forth; And your righteousness will go before you; The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.” Ras Robinson

August 31, 2012. Controlling what you say is wisdom. I know it is not your intention to hurt or put another down, but it seems before you know it that’s what happens. When you realize it you feel terrible and commit not to do it again. The problem is you have to start before the words come from your mouth. Start thinking good thoughts about your friends and the ones you love. Camp there . Practice when you are alone. When condemning thoughts come, dismiss them immediately. Get back to thinking blessings instead of cursings. Fill your mind with blessing. You can do this. This is My way, precious one. Watch and see what happens.
James 3:17-18 (NLT) “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.” Bev Robinson
August 31, 2012. Change is not always easy. We get set in a routine of doing certain things in our lives that can be detrimental or beneficial. Paul wrote in Galatian 5:25, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit“. If we could only see how our actions are evident to everyone we encounter. A man in our church exemplifies walking by Holy Spirit in practically everything he does. Though he’s not perfect, he exhibits godliness in all I see and hear. My Lord says, “Let Me change the atmosphere around you. Stop striving. Observe and imitate godly individuals among you. Walk in Love!”
Galatians 5:16-17 (NASB) “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.” Kevin Robinson
August 30, 2012. Being full of hope is what you want. The requirements are high. Pronounced and manifested hope often appears after troubled waters. The Lord taught me these truths through placing me in two different cities to experience the late summer rains. In Baton Rouge, LA and Taos NM in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the late summer weather patterns are nearly the same. Hot days with beautiful skies and then at about 4:00 p.m. the daily rain comes. There is a definite parallel in life to the beautiful, peaceful and exhilarating good time, offset by the certainty of rain that comes on your parade. The requirement for hope? Scrub your hands of sin and evil in your life and home. God will then give you hope in the morning and teach you to simply appreciate the afternoon rain, knowing that the sun will soon rise on a new and blessed day. In this way, you can keep yourself full of hope.
Job 11:14-18 (MSG) “If you scrub your hands of sin and refuse to entertain evil in your home, You’ll be able to face the world unashamed and keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and fearless. You’ll forget your troubles; they’ll be like old, faded photographs. Your world will be washed in sunshine, every shadow dispersed by dayspring. Full of hope, you’ll relax, confident again; you’ll look around, sit back, and take it easy.” Ras Robinson
August 30, 2012. The question was asked and I answered. Then you began to doubt what I said because when you started doing it, it was hard. Then you began to doubt and eventually cave. If you had stayed with what I said, that part would be over. Now you have to begin all over because circumstances have changed and the right answer to the questions no longer applies like it did. It is close to My answer before, but not exactly. I am not mad with you. I know it is hard. Wait until you are sure you will obey with pinpoint accuracy and then begin again. This time you will make it.
James 1:23-25 (NLT) “For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.” Bev Robinson
August 30, 2012. Place your hope firmly upon Me as your foundation. I am the Chief Cornerstone you are to build your house upon. Ask for and listen intently to My wise counsel. Many people have neglected Me and My wisdom with their plans and they have failed miserably. Whether you’re single or married, listen closely to Me and others. Others or your mate may disagree with your ideas. But My ultimate goal and intent is success for you all. Seek Me first and foremost. Walk with humility and stand firm with what you believe to be the truth. Live a life righteously according to Me and My word.
Luke 6:46-49 (NLT) “So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. I t is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.” Kevin Robinson
August 29, 2012. Neil Armstrong was five years my senior and my hero in many ways. He died at age 82. In The Christian Diarist on August 25, 2012, the article entitled “Neil Armstrong: A Great American, A Devout Christian,” revealed a priceless and heart stirring quote: “The American astronaut was taken on a tour of the old city of Jerusalem by Israeli archeologist Meir Ben-Dov. When they got to the Hulda Gate, which is at the top of the stairs leading to the Temple Mount, Armstrong asked Ben-Dov whether Jesus had stepped anywhere around there… Ben-Dov answered ‘yes.’ Armstrong then asked Ben-Dov if those were the original stairs and Ben-Dov confirmed that they were indeed. ‘So Jesus stepped right here?’ Armstrong asked. ‘That’s right,’ answered Ben-Dov…. To which Armstrong, the devout Christian, replied, ‘I have to tell you, I am more excited stepping on these stones than when I was stepping on the moon.'” Lord, raise up more heroes of his caliber, even like Gideon.
Judges 6:12 (NLT) “The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, “Mighty hero, the LORD is with you!” Ras Robinson
August 29, 2012. It’s time for a break. All have been operating at a steady clip. Everyone was trying to say the right thing but planning got off track. Words became confusing and there were misunderstandings. Everyone was trying to do the right thing, but words were heard that were not actually said. A plan was formulated that was not actually intended. There were assumptions of what was said because there were preconceived ideas of the motives. You think you know what the problem was, but you don’t know completely all that happened. Stop now and rest. Call a truce. Don’t try to sort it all out. From a distance later you will understand.
Psalms 37:3-4 (NLT) “Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” Bev Robinson
August 29, 2012. Some of you are feeling you have very little or no value at this current stage of your life. You’ve entered into a deeper level of depression which you’ve not experienced before. I heard a spiritual father speak to me some very simple words of wisdom, “Don’t sweat the small stuff, because it’s all small stuff!” Refuse to acknowledge the lies Satan has cast your way. The Lord says, “You are so exquisite to Me! Let Me wrap My loving arms around you. When a young child wants to be picked up, they extend their arms up to be comforted. Lift up your arms to Me, My dear one.”
Psalm 36:7 (NLT) “How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.” Kevin Robinson
August 28, 2012. Have you ever compared your work to someone else’s and then boast of how good you are and how wonderful is your own work or possession? Sometimes a competitive spirit can attach itself to even a Christian. The result is that your boasting is not good for you or for the ones who observe you boasting. In the state where I live, boasting and extolling ourselves is to be expected. Sometimes it is over our work, our children, homes or schools. Most of the time, we mean no harm or malice. But our boasting can get out of hand. Rather, we should examine our own work and worth carefully, and seek to make it better without boasting.
Galatians 6:4 (NASB) “But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.” Ras Robinson
August 28, 2012. In parts of the world and with other religions, some people set a table before their gods and some even place food out for their gods. It is not that way with My believers and followers. I set My table before them. I provide food and the power and energy to live and have their being to do My will. I provide the grace which bring blessings and power not of words only but of powerful salvations healings and deliverances. You and yours are never too far gone to eat at my table. My table is in the presence of your enemies. Eating at My table can change your life forever.
Psalms 23:4-6 (NKJV) “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Bev Robinson
August 28, 2012. As Christians we are to live a life of humility, just as Jesus our Lord lived and continues to live in humility before His Father. Throughout Scripture we see again and again how Jesus received humanity. He accepted His role and showed us the way to love and receive one another. In the name of love receive one another. The Lord says, “I lived in Egypt, the place of My forefather’s bondage. I loved them and I also loved the Samaritans, even though My brothers and sisters rejected them. I received and loved the prophets before Me. I loved the Pharisees and Sadducees as well. I love you. Receive one another.”
Matthew 10:40-42 (NASB) “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.” Kevin Robinson
August 27, 2012. Come ride with Me on the clouds of glory. Run with Me through the wheat fields of white harvest. Draw water from My wellspring of life like an ever-flowing artesian well. Sit with Me at My table of plenty and enjoy the fruits of my love and bounty. Lift up your heart in thanksgiving from the fullness of God in your human body. You lack in no thing because you are under My banner of love, my rule and authority. This is your reward – you shall live this life to the fullest while having much left over for the less fortunate. Let us commune together in a mighty feast of love everlasting.
Colossians 2:9-10 (NLT) “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.” Ras Robinson
August 27, 2012. I want you to be who I have made you to be. You are comparing yourself with other people and that will never do you good. You will never be like someone else. Be who you are. I have made you just like I want you. You are one of a kind. There is not another person just like you. Soak up how much I love you. You have a specific call to love other people and, if you don’t love yourself, you will spend so much time trying to get love you won’t have the time or take the time to be loving to others. Love Me yourself and others.
Mark 12:29-31 (NKJV) “Jesus answered him, ‘The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.'” Bev Robinson
August 27, 2012. As a man, sometimes it’s difficult to wrap my mind around being the bride of Christ even though I can easily see Jesus as the bridegroom. I’ve been the groom and have watched other men in that role. The Lord says, “Can you receive who I have made you to be? Begin to prepare yourself as the bride of Christ. Can you see how beautiful you are to me and how much I love you? Humble yourselves and allow My revelation to enter deep within your heart. As the bridegroom, I have laid down my life for you. I am the bridegroom and I am coming again for My bride.”
Revelation 19:7-9 (NASB) “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” Kevin Robinson
August 26, 2012. You are blessed indeed if you are surrounded by family and friends who tell you straight up and straight out the truth in love. Many of us have had it both ways. We perhaps grew up with those who did not do so and there were emotional hurts, wounds and disappointments. But now you are with those truth tellers who love you with all their heart. Neither do they flatter you with words. Count your many blessings; name them one by one. Be sure now to pass along this great blessing through being a straight shooter in love. See if I do not bless you and them as time goes by. Generously show forth your gratitude.
Proverbs 26:28 (NASB) “A lying tongue hates those it crushes, and a flattering mouth works ruin.” Ras Robinson
August 26, 2012. Circumstances have changed. You are now in a new position. It is a chance to make some changes. These changes are needed for you to do what I have called you to do. I am always calling you upward. The question is, will you respond to My call? Don’t settle back into the old static ways of how it has always been. Move upward. Move out of the doldrums. Follow My leadings. Make the necessary changes. Follow the upward call. How do you do this? Die to the old ways. Consider yourself dead. Now allow Me to raise you to newness in life. I have so many blessings ahead for you.
Romans 6:11 (AMP) “Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
August 26, 2012. Are you willing to embrace your own Jerusalem? Before I ascended, I told My disciples of the things which had to be fulfilled before I went to be with My Father. My Father gave instructions for Me to tell them of the promise of power He would place upon them if they waited in Jerusalem. His desire for them was that they be clothed with His power. Once they received His power, I led them about two miles east to Bethany. I blessed them, then was carried up into the clouds. Are you willing to wait, receive, and be blessed? If so, receive all of Me and embrace your own Jerusalem with praise and thanksgiving. Enjoy Me where I’ve placed you.
Luke 24:52 (NKJV) “And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising andblessing God. Amen”. Kevin Robinson
August 25, 2012. These are the days in which you can trust the Lord. The enemies that seek your life will turn on their heels and run for cover. God has set a guard about you that cannot be penetrated. He has stationed guardian angels at every window and door of your life and dwelling. Nothing gets by these angels that does not first pass by the Lord of Hosts. At any moment He manifests myriads of warring angels to defend you. You are, after all, His most prized possession. You are safe and sound, not to worry anymore because you are strong and mighty in your trust of Me. Now seize the day!
Psalm 25:20-21 (NASB) “Guard my soul and deliver me; do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You.” Ras Robinson
August 25, 2012. Lately many things have gone very good. You wonder will this continue or will you begin fearing it is time for something bad to happen. That kind of thinking started when you were very young. All would be going good and seemingly out of nowhere something bad would happen. This is the root of thinking that bad has to follow good. Stop thinking that way. Get your mind back on the good. You don’t have to have a lot of ups and downs. I make the rough places smooth. I have made a way for your emotions to level out. My way is for you to go from glory to glory.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Bev Robinson
August 25, 2012. Receive My righteousness deep within your heart. My eyes and ears are always looking and listening for those who are in pursuit of Me with humility and sincerity. Repent from your ways of unrighteousness, and let Holy Spirit cover you with love, joy, and peace. Satan knows of you. The truth is he knows fully I AM the way and he knows you’ll never quit calling out to Me for my help. As I am your Father, know that I hear your cries. I love to see your godly sorrow which leads to repentance . Continue calling out to Me.
Psalm 34:17-18 (AMP) “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles. The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.”
Jeremiah 33:3 (AMP) “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).” Kevin Robinson
August 24, 2012. An elderly widow wrote and said she just had to ask: “Are your words really from God or are they merely thoughts you yourself think?” She was sorry she could not make a contribution to the ministry. I wrote to her: “You may not be able to contribute money to our ministry, but your prayers would be priceless if God should lead you to pray for us. Bev, Kevin and I have discussed your question about the source of our daily words. All three of us follow the same routine of seeking in prayer to hear God. We then declare what we heard to our readers. Most times, we seek the Lord early in the morning and pray for the nations and people all over the world. We ask God to speak to our hearts what He wants us to say on His behalf to the nations. We include the Scripture verse or verses He impresses upon us. My first word for “What the Lord Is Saying Today” was January 6, 2001. God called me to add Bev as a writer in November, 2007. Kevin’s first published word was in January 2012.” If this word is a blessing to you and YOU would like to contribute, here is a link for giving online: Donate to FCM.
Mark 1:35 (NASB) “In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.” Ras Robinson
August 24, 2012. Thoughts of your ancestors have flooded your mind. Some family members you knew well and others you hardly knew at all. You aren’t sure why this happened at this time. There are some in your family who do not know what you know. Now is one of the times to tell what you know. Your family needs to celebrate the good of what I did in those who have gone on before them. They also need to embrace the bad as well as the good. And then reject, repent and break off the bad that you know and even that which you don’t know. This is a day I give to begin again.
Exodus 3:15 (AMP) “God said also to Moses, This shall you say to the Israelites: The Lord, the God of your fathers, of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has sent me to you! This is My name forever, and by this name I am to be remembered to all generations.” Bev Robinson
August 24, 2012. Take steps of faith like Abraham did when he went forth with Isaac to the mountain. Be obedient to the specific instructions I have spoken to you within your heart. Listen attentively to what I say. Above all, give me your undivided attention. Are you willing to make the necessary sacrifices to trust me with whatever you cherish the most? Let Me establish My ways with you. I am your heavenly Father and know I have only the best in store for you. Put all the burdens you have been struggling with upon Me. Be quick to obey specifically what I have said for you to do. Trust Me and believe.
Hebrews 11:8 (NASB) “By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.” Kevin Robinson
August 23, 2012. Always be ready with the answer of the Lord. Recently, I saw a loving father of a young lady give his best spiritual answer to a problem. He freely quoted “just the right scripture” in his counsel to her. He could do that with accuracy because he is a righteous and informed man of God. Families today should not yield to the ways of the world that so tempt our young ones. Let our parents be loving and full of compassion for their children. At the same time, it is important to use godly discipline both to teach and guide. These are perilous days for families worldwide who want to establish their children and the whole atmosphere in the Christian way.
Proverbs 23:12 (NASB) “Apply your heart to discipline and your ears to words of knowledge.” Ras Robinson
August 23, 2012. There are things you no longer do. You could do them if you pushed through, but you know deep in your soul it would not be good if you did. That is not where you are in life now. Be at peace. Don’t try to do the things you once did. Don’t live in the past. Do what is set before you now. This is a new day. Yes there are things you are to push through and do. Do those. I give you wisdom to know what to do and what not to do. Don’t live in the past and don’t wait for the future. Enjoy the present.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-3 (NLT) “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal.” Bev Robinson
August 23, 2012. Recently while visiting an Indian reservation, I heard of the positive impact of tribal elders among their people. I have also seen elders in my life seeking You for wisdom and direction for the benefit of people they oversee. God says, “I am the one who establishes My authority through individuals in your life. Whether the results made by decisions they made did or did not have a good outcome, their intentions were for the good of the people they care for. I exhort you to fall in line with Me as your Father. Let me establish your plans and ways by submitting to those I have appointed as leaders among you.”
Jeremiah 29:11(NASB) “For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” Kevin Robinson
August 22, 2012. You are so amazing. You were created to be My treasure chest of My goodness and righteousness in the earth. This is the time to open My treasure chest and impart to those you and I love. It would be good to start with your immediate family members and increase the circle and circles of love. Look inside yourself and see the gleaming and sparkling treasures you are to give to others in My family. Did you know I depend on you for the blessings from My treasure chest to be given out? As you do, challenge each one to do as you have done with My treasure chest. Amaze Me with your own amazement for others to see and experience.
Exodus 35:31 (NASB) “And He has filled him (Bezelel) with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge and in all craftsmanship.” Ras Robinson
August 22, 2012. There are ideas circling your mind. Which one is the best? Which one is the right one? Which is the one that will portray what I want said? What I say will help people. What I say will change lives. I am teaching you now as you go. Don’t hesitate because you don’t know the end results. Just start and revelation will come as you go. You will see at the end the whole picture. Sometimes I show you the end before the beginning, but don’t let any way become a ritual. That will tend to keep the way you do things in a box. I don’t stay in a box.
Deuteronomy 29:29 (NLT) “The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.” Bev Robinson
August 22, 2012. First and foremost, I have spoken to you very clearly about coming to Me with a pure heart. Having done so, I want you to seek Me first in everything you do. Offer to Me a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. Offer up your first fruit which I have given to you freely. Humbly and boldly, seek me in the quiet place. Seek Me and My righteousness. Pursue Me on the mountain tops and in the valleys. Look for Me in whatever circumstance you’re encountering. Yield to Me and let Me guide you in every step you take. Search diligently for Me, and let Me shine My light on your ways.
Jeremiah 29:12 (NIV) “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Matthew 6:33 (NIV) “ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Kevin Robinson
August 21, 2012. Understanding My kingdom is the master key to everything good that I have for My children. When you discover and begin really living in My kingdom, then righteousness is the next step on your spiritual journey. Wear it as a perpetual covering provided by the blood of Jesus. It does not go and come with any moods or conditions you may encounter. The Kingdom of God is within you. Believe and seek it daily. Allow it to manifest right before your eyes the things you seek as you put My Kingdom above all else. You will understand more and more as you become committed to and focused on living this new life I have given.
Matthew 6:33 (NASB) “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Ras Robinson
August 21, 2012. It is not as hard to hear Me as you think. You have read and heard about the way others have heard Me and you don’t think you can do it as well as they do. When you gave your heart to Me I took up residence within you and at this present time I am leading you. You are hearing and following Me almost without being aware of it. It feels like your own thoughts and they are. We are one when your thoughts line up with My ways in My word. So you don’t have to try so hard to hear. Just be and do what is in your heart.
Colossians 1:27 (NLT) “For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.” Bev Robinson
August 21, 2012. Will you receive what I am saying to you? I am the way, the truth and the life. It may be difficult for you to receive fully what I have spoken to you about greater works. Can you and will you believe what I have spoken to you about the greater works you can and will do in MY NAME. Ask, in my name. Wherever and whatever your circumstances may be, call on Me, so I can bring glory to GOD in the highest. Peace in the storm? Ask! That the blind to see? Ask! Deliverance for those held captive? Ask! Why? Because the SPIRIT of the LORD is upon you.
John 14:12-13 (NLT) “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.” Kevin Robinson
August 20, 2012. You need a fresh start. Take a deep breath, turn your eyes upward and see all that I have stored up for you. Think of heavenly things and your ultimate destiny. My storehouse is full for you. Yes, there have been setbacks and there will be more. But I have the better for you, says your Lord God, “Pay close attention to your attitude of getting along with fellow believers. Check your sympathy and compassion for others. Never engage in retaliation for being wronged. Instead show humility and bless those who hurt you Keep your tongue soft and loving, always giving blessings. Then you will get a steady stream of blessings.”
1 Peter 3:8-9 (MSG) “Summing up: Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. That goes for all of you, no exceptions. No retaliation. No sharp-tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless-that’s your job, to bless. You’ll be a blessing and also get a blessing. Ras Robinson
August 20, 2012. Your hope has slowly drifted away. Hope was once high and your heart was filled with faith. Now both are just a glimmer. Hope has drained from your heart and you are wondering whether or not you heard Me at all. Most all of life’s ways must die before they can bring forth fullness. Lay your promise before Me to see what will resurrect. You will look back one day and see what I said was true. It may look somewhat different than you imagined but it will be the pure word. Your father Abraham raised the knife to kill Isaac. Imagine how hard that was. Continue trusting in Me.
Romans 4:18 (NLT) “Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping-believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” Bev Robinson
August 20, 2012. Humility and righteousness go hand in hand. When you took a step of faith and received Me you confessed your sin and acknowledged your need for a Savior. You asked Me to cleanse you of all your unrighteousness and you turned your life over to Me and My righteousness. Your belief in Me and confession of sins enabled you to be saved, healed and delivered. Everything you need is found in Me. Don’t confuse your wants with your needs. I supply all of your needs. Allow confession of sins and prayer for one another to be an integral part of your walk with Me. Confession and humility is found by yielding to Me.
James 5:16 (NASB) “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” Kevin Robinson
August 19, 2012. These are days in which you need to take a full accounting of your life and how you are living it. Many believers in and followers of Christ in this hour have so blended with the world and the affairs of man that they cannot be distinguished from lost people whose destiny is oblivion and the pit. If ever a time of revival is to come to the church, this is that time. God is not angry nor is He revengeful towards those who repent. Those who take an honest assessment of their lives and repent will find mercy in abundance from the Father’s throne of grace. Take an account. Be honest and repent now.
1 Peter 3:10-12 (NASB) “For, “THE ONE WHO DESIRES LIFE, TO LOVE AND SEE GOOD DAYS, MUST KEEP HIS TONGUE FROM EVIL AND HIS LIPS FROM SPEAKING DECEIT. HE MUST TURN AWAY FROM EVIL AND DO GOOD; HE MUST SEEK PEACE AND PURSUE IT. FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE TOWARD THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ATTEND TO THEIR PRAYER, BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THOSE WHO DO EVIL.” Ras Robinson
August 19, 2012. Anxiety does absolutely no good for anyone. In fact if it resides with a person too long it does great harm. Anxiety affects your body in ways you don’t want. I know there are hard times right now, but if you handle stress and anxiety the way I instruct in My word, there will be no adverse effect. I have given you a mode of operating that will be for your benefit and eventually for the benefit of someone who is watching you. If you won’t cave in at their bickering and keep a calm caring attitude they will eventually learn from your actions. Precious, you are an example so remain consistent.
Philippians 4:4-7 (NASB) “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
August 19, 2012. I’ve noticed a particular thing about being filled with Holy Spirit. He makes you bold. I’ve also seen individuals who have been overtaken with various forms of alcohol. It seems most of them get really transparent and lose all inhibition. Holy Spirit allows you to receive new wine with which you cannot contain all the blessings you have received. Being full of gratitude, let Holy Spirit guide what you say. The Lord says, “Be My mouthpiece. Be filled with Holy Spirit. Speak revelations to those around you of what you’ve seen and heard. Holy Spirit’s infilling makes it hard to keep quiet. Speak what Holy Spirit says. Let’s make a melody together.”
Ephesians 5:18-20 (NIV) “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Kevin Robinson
August 18, 2012. Has the Lord ever rescued you from peril? Has the bottom ever seemed to fall out of your life in some particular area? Your home is repossessed. You lose your job . Your spouse or child falls into crisis. Perhaps you were once in a tight place with little or no hope of escape. You were not sure the Lord would hear your cry. Then you found Him to be sure and steady in your rescue and defense. Since then you have extolled His virtues. He has built and stored within you testimonies of His profound grace and mercy to save in time of need. Now when people come to you for help, you can reach out to them with knowledge and assurance of redemption and restoration. God, you are alive and my only hope!
Psalm 18:1-3 (MSG) “A David song, which he sang to God after being saved from all his enemies and from Saul. I love you, GOD- you make me strong. GOD is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight. My God-the high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the boulders, safe in the granite hideout. I sing to GOD, the Praise-Lofty, and find myself safe and saved.” Ras Robinson
August 18, 2012. I love my husband dearly. He is the kindest, most encouraging, most loving, best looking man I have ever known. I love him now much more than the first day we were married. I have learned so much from his words of love and encouragement, but he is also a straight talker who has sanded down some of my rough edges. Scripture compares marriage to the Church which is designed to do some of the same. ” Some of you are missing a blessing by not being a part of My local Church which will love, accept and encourage you and also help you grow to maturity by sanding down some of your rough edges.”
Ephesians 5:31-33 (NASB) “FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.” Bev Robinson
August 18, 2012. Now is not the time to duck and cover, as the saying goes. Instead rise up and embrace your calling. Too often, people are unwilling or perhaps afraid of what the outcome could possibly be. Abraham, Moses, Rahab, Joseph, David, Ruth, Naomi, Peter, Paul, et al. All of them could have run from the calling I bestowed upon them. Instead each one took steps of faith and they are forever immortalized in the greatest book ever read. Each of them believed I was greater than their circumstances. Put all your faith in Me and in Me alone. Move forward. Press in close to Me. Trust Me.
Matthew 17:20 (NIV) “He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Kevin Robinson
August 17, 2012. Yesterday we happened upon some treasured friends from our past. With them we have so many things in common, personal and spiritually. He and I both are United States Air Force veterans and were stationed in Misawa, Japan for a brief time. They related how they have become friends with a group studying the Torah teachings together with other Old Testament passages and the gospels of Jesus as guidance for their lives. They wanted us to come and share with this group about our faith in the freedom Christ brings to our lives through the Gospel . It could be an interesting encounter and dialogue. Have you decided what you believe about Christ’s freedom?
Galatians 5:1-4 (NLT) “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. Listen! I, Paul, tell you this: If you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God, then Christ will be of no benefit to you. I’ll say it again. If you are trying to find favor with God by being circumcised, you must obey every regulation in the whole law of Moses. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.” Ras Robinson
August 17, 2012. You will soon cross paths with someone you have not seen for a long time. It will be a refreshing time for you both. Many things have happened to each of you since you last were together. It will be a time of remembrance, but there are some things you will find that both of you are now involved in that you have not known. Pursue this new found revelation. It is going to produce benefits for both of you. It will make your relationship stronger. You both love Me and want to do what I want. There now will be great blessing for you both.
1 Samuel 18:3 (NLT) “And Jonathan made a solemn pact with David, because he loved him as he loved himself.” Bev Robinson
August 17, 2012. I commend you for standing firm in what you believe I will accomplish for you. Your patience is admirable and has not gone unnoticed. Here in Heaven I have been watching to see if your resolute stance would be sustained. My brother James, wrote that you should count it ALL joy when you encounter difficult situations. James 1:2-3 says to let patience have it’s perfect work in you so that you will be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Being steadfast is lacking in society today. An example is the increasing rate of divorces. There’s no condemnation on My part if you’ve experienced this, but a vow is a vow, period. Stand firm, unwavering.
James 1:5-8 (NASB) “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Kevin Robinson
August 16, 2012. Someone is starved to be blessed by you. I blessed you in the beginning with power to infect others with My goodness like a virus spreads in an epidemic. You can only bless by the God of your father. Only He can lay out the inheritance that spreads like the sky over all His children. He blesses from the womb and through the breasts, teaching praise and thanksgiving. At your very best, you will never be able to bless like God who sends blessings down through the ages like current on an electrical power line. Abraham, your father, was the first to receive these blessings. Abraham believed and it was counted unto him as righteousness. Only believe like Abraham and pass along his blessings. Find that someone and bless them.
Genesis 49:25 (AMP) “By the God of your father, Who will help you, and by the Almighty, Who will bless you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings lying in the deep beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.” Ras Robinson
August 16, 2012. A problem has been averted. Provision was made before the problem manifested. All will be well and there is no reason for you to be worried or even concerned. Remember it is recorded in My word… “From Me and through Me and to Me are all things.” This is the reason there is no need ever to worry. I have been where you are and know what you are going through . I am now there to aid you in learning to rest. Resting is one of the most important things you will ever learn. Resting in Me and following Me is the main key to understanding many things in the kingdom.
Hebrews 4:7 (AMP) “Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.” Bev Robinson
August 16, 2012. I see everything, and I can see right through you. Check your motives. Examine your heart to see what is at the root of your actions. You have a saying among yourselves that says, “actions speak louder than words”. The truth is, everything you do speaks volumes to those around you. Beware of performing before men. Let your giving, your praying, the majority of what you do, be done in secret. I’ve seen it all and there is nothing new under the sun or My Son. Rewards? Who needs rewards? You were created to praise and worship Me! The world around you is not about you. It is all about Me.
Matthew 6:1-4 (MSG) “Be especially careful when you are trying to be good so that you don’t make a performance out of it. It might be good theater, but the God who made you won’t be applauding. “When you do something for someone else, don’t call attention to yourself. You’ve seen them in action, I’m sure-‘playactors’ I call them- treating prayer meeting and street corner alike as a stage, acting compassionate as long as someone is watching, playing to the crowds. They get applause, true, but that’s all they get. When you help someone out, don’t think about how it looks. Just do it-quietly and unobtrusively. That is the way your God, who conceived you in love, working behind the scenes, helps you out.” Kevin Robinson
August 15, 2012. These are days in our nation when we are looking for leaders who exhibit excellence and good moral values. A person’s values make a huge difference. God is the source of all goodness and righteousness. His standards are readily available through the Scriptures and example in the life of Jesus. His life expressed through us satisfies all our needs for purity and good character. Never be deceived, if an apple has a worm in it, the apple is to be discarded before that bad apple affects all apples in the barrel. It is good policy to inspect well the apple before you eat it. The Lord says, “I will purify all hearts that are surrendered to Me.
Psalm 15:1-2 (NASB) “O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart.” Ras Robinson
August 15, 2012. There is something happening soon. You are looking forward to it, but you know you must keep your emotions in check. This is hard because it is something you want so badly. Start now by putting all your expectations in Me. Tell Me specifically your fears and then leave it. If you do this you will not be overcome. This is not going to happen like you have been envisioning but in the long run it will be better than you think. Right now this is elevated in your mind. Bring your thoughts captive to Me. I always want what is best for you and for you to walk in peace.
Romans 8:28-29 (MOFF) “We know also that those who love God, those who have been called in terms of his purpose, have his aid and interest in everything. For he decreed of old that those whom he predestined should share the likeness of his Son-that he might be the firstborn of a great brotherhood.” Bev Robinson
August 15, 2012. This past Sunday we sang, “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord.” Much like John the Baptist, I want to fully embrace the significance of His Lordship. The fact is He is the Son of God and no one gets to the Father except through Him. My Lord gave us the commission to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,…” The Lord says, “Will you go? I’ve not given you the spirit of fear! All of My power and authority has been given to you! Make My way straight. For I am with you! Walk with what Holy Spirit says within your heart. Go! Declare Me wherever you are!”
Matthew 28:18-20 (MSG) “Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” Kevin Robinson
August 14, 2012. At one of Jesus’ darkest hours, following John’s beheading, He went by boat and found a secluded place to be alone. As He came ashore, a large crowd was observed needing healing. Even in His deep sorrow over John’s death, He felt compassion towards the sick among them. Can you imagine He might well have excused Himself from their great need to find comfort for Himself? I am ashamed to say I have done that on occasion. The Father is saying, “A great wave of divine healing of the sick is about to break on the banks of our unbelief and reticence.” Will we boldly yield to the great challenge of demonstrating the power of God for divine healing? Let faith arise!
Matthew 14:13-14 (NASB) “Now when Jesus heard about John, He withdrew from there in a boat to a secluded place by Himself; and when the people heard of this, they followed Him on foot from the cities. When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick.” Ras Robinson
August 14, 2012. I’ve heard it said if you read or study anything for at least 15 minutes a day, before you know it you’ll become an expert. “Are you reading and studying My word. This is something you have thought about but it seems like other things take your time. Make a commitment for 15 minutes of reading My word and afterwards ask Me what I want you to do. Read and follow through with actions religiously for a month and see what happens.” I started this years ago and continue until this day. I am not yet an expert but it has changed my life. Commit and I’ll be praying for you.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Bev Robinson
August 14, 2012. A few nights ago, we had some friends in our home for a meal and a time of joy and laughter. In the prayer before we ate our meal, I prayed for the fruit of the Spirit to be manifest in our home. An unexpected thunderstorm came with winds exceeding eighty miles an hour, toppling trees and causing a lot of damage to other neighboring homes. As I had prayed we experienced His fruit all night long, though the power was off for hours. We carried on by candlelight . The Lord says, “Ask in faith believing for My fruit to be manifest in you, even though problems may challenge.”
John 14:13 (NASB) “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
August 13, 2012. Today is a great day in the Lord. Meditate and contemplate on His majesty and goodness. Has He ever saved you from peril or protected you in a storm of life? What do you have that did not come from the Lord as part of the “all things” that work together, good and bad for your gain? Can you think of a great loss that did not end up showing you the goodness of God? Choose again today to make Him Lord and Master of everything pertaining to you. Fill your lungs and mouth with thanksgiving for the many times He has answered your prayers and fulfilled your desires and needs.
Psalm 13:5-6 (MSG) “I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms – I’m celebrating your rescue. I’m singing at the top of my lungs, I’m so full of answered prayers.” Ras Robinson
August 13, 2012. I have planned more blessings than anything imaginable. These blessings supersede any circumstance you walk through. They occur on a higher plane than the natural. How can you exist in two positions at the same time? This is a big mystery, but physics now proves it. It is hard for the natural mind to understand, but being in two places at one time is an explainable truth. My word states it like this: walking through deep water and not drowning and walking through fire and not being burned. In the natural this is impossible, but keeping your mind on that higher plane by following Me brings joy unspeakable. Come up here.
Isaiah 43:2 (NASB) “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.” Bev Robinson
August 13, 2012. A health analysis is in progress. You have tremendous potential and have been recognized for your gifts, talents and anointing. Do not squander your birthright for temporary and momentary gratification. My desire for you is that you not only pass the analysis, but exceed the tests which are in progress. You have tried to overcome certain obstacles in your life by your own power and have failed miserably. Keep your mind, will, and emotions under My control. Confess your faults to a trusted brother or sister who can help keep you accountable. ut all of your reliance on Me. Trust Me to remove those stumbling blocks you’ve tried to overcome.
John 16:33 (MSG) “Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it-saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” Kevin Robinson
August 12, 2012. On a recent road trip, our granddaughter was disappointed in my denial for her to pick an apple off a tree belonging to someone else. After trying to explain it to her, she was still disappointed . Upon arriving at our destination, we discovered hundreds of red apples on the ground under trees on the property we rented. They were ours for the taking. Remember, God is good all the time. My wife chose that evening to make apple pie and ice cream from the carefully selected apples our granddaughter gathered. The Lord worked with us so that He could teach a lesson to us all concerning legalities of rules and how grace can still abound. Grace is a many splendored thing as is illustrated in the following verses.
Matthew 12:1-2, 6-8 (MSG) “One Sabbath, Jesus was strolling with his disciples through a field of ripe grain. Hungry, the disciples were pulling off the heads of grain and munching on them . Some Pharisees reported them to Jesus: “Your disciples are breaking the Sabbath rules! “There is far more at stake here than religion. If you had any idea what this Scripture meant – ‘I prefer a flexible heart to an inflexible ritual’ – you wouldn’t be nitpicking like this. The Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath; he’s in charge.” Ras Robinson
August 12, 2012. One of the most amazing things to me is how God orchestrated the continuum tapestry of time and space in His children’s lives. In the soon to be released DVD “Father of Lights” this is demonstrated by a man in India leading a high holy Hindu priest to Christ, and a man in Israel praying for the person who will later get him inside the inside the Muslim Dome Of The Rock. All of this was accomplished by following the leadings of Christ. “Are you tuning your eyes, ears, dreams and visions toward Me? I have places for you to go and things for you to do that will amaze everyone.”
John 10:27-30 (NLT) “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.” Bev Robinson
August 12, 2012. I am all about relationships. First and foremost I have intimacy with My Father. Holy Spirit moves as Father God directs as well. We operate as one, though We have distinct identities each and of ourselves. I listened attentively, so as to not have My own agenda with Him. He talks, I listen. He leads and I follow. Holy Spirit moves within you according to the will of the Father too. It is all about His will being accomplished. Can you see the perfect pattern We have modeled before you? Don’t underestimate the power of operating in unity and oneness. Secure, develop and maintain a cherished relationship with My Father.
Psalm 84:10 (NIV) “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Kevin Robinson
August 11, 2012. Mountains offer an implied and comparative strength when viewed. Many find comfort in visiting their massiveness and elevations. Others find refuge and quiet solitude there. Jesus made many trips alone to the mountains to pray. At other times, He took His disciples with Him. He ascended to Heaven from the Mountain of Olives. Personally, I have found the Lord speaking to me more freely when I visit the higher elevations of mountains. Actually, it is not the mountain that gives strength and revelation. The Lord, by His grace meets with those who seek Him whether on mountains or in valleys. Seek Him in the quietness and solitude. He may be found often simply in a private place with you, no matter where.
Psalm 121:1-2 (MSG) “A pilgrim song I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from GOD, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.” Ras Robinson
August 11, 2012. There is a lesson soon for you to learn. Don’t let this cause you fear or even consternation. I am telling you this ahead of time so you will know I love you and care about you. When the realization appears that this is what I wanted you to learn it will be an “aha moment” and will bring a smile to your face. Others will not know because this is something between just the two of us. It will create precious intimacy. Think on this. You are always on My mind. I have had good plans for you since before you were born. These lessons are for your good.
Psalms 139:15-16 (NLT) ” You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Bev Robinson
August 11, 2012. Flabbergasted comes to mind. I ts definition means to amaze or astonish someone completely. My daughter Kaytlin flabbergasts me all the time with her creative and artistic talents. She delights me more than I could have ever imagined. Her desire to please me overwhelms me so much that I’m tearing up now as I write. The Lord says, “My desire is for you to totally understand how you amaze Me. My mind is filled with wonder and I marvel with who you are. Though I don’t worship you as you do Me, I adore you just as you are. You’re like a butterfly that has been completely transformed. Fly. Fly. Fly.”
Psalm 139:14 (KJV) “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Kevin Robinson
August 10, 2012. Imagine thinking like Jesus during your hard times . Imagine having such a change of mind that you enter into a hot pursuit of God and His will for the rest of your days instead of what you want. In so doing, you would become part of the new breed God is spawning for the move of God in revival and restoration as promised in Acts 3:19-21 “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.” Lean into your imagination and believe.
1 Peter 4:1-2 (MSG) ” Since Jesus went through everything you’re going through and more, learn to think like him. Think of your sufferings as a weaning from that old sinful habit of always expecting to get your own way. Then you’ll be able to live out your days free to pursue what God wants instead of being tyrannized by what you want.” Ras Robinson
August 10, 2012. There have been some obstacles to your faith that have come lately. I know this has been a hard time. More than one thing has happened that has caused you stress. It feels like the bottom of the stress bucket has been unloaded on your head. Shake this stuff off. You can shake it all off on Me. Most of it you can’t do anything about except to pray. You’ve wondered recently if prayer works. Yes it does . Prayer is powerful. Pray, then trust Me and My will. Remain thankful that I will do what is best. Ask Me for wisdom about what to do. Do it…then leave it alone.
Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Bev Robinson
August 10, 2012. Within you have I have put a strong desire to be loved and accepted for who you are, not for what you do. Know this My child, My love for you is unconditional. My tenderness, care and affection are yours to receive. Accept who I have made you to be. Know that you are perfect and complete, lacking in nothing through the blood of My Son. Your search for significance is found in Me. You’ve heard Me call your name in a quiet place, wondering who said your name? You are not hearing voices, you’re hearing Me! Come to Me. You are worthy to receive My love. Let Me love you.
1 Corinthians 8:3 (AMP) “But if one loves God truly [ with affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing], he is known by God [ recognized as worthy of His intimacy and love, and he is owned by Him].” Kevin Robinson
August 9, 2012. Oh, this season you are about to witness is going to change everything. Many have experienced meeting Jesus, but there is blindness and deafness everywhere. You cannot see. You cannot hear and feel what I am feeling. Your senses have been dulled by the noise of the world and the fleshly ways of your nation. Few can see with My eyes, feel with My heart or hear the cry of My heart for you. I tell you today, I am sending renewed teams to your scene, filled and running over with My fresh anointing and power. A great move of God has begun and nothing can stop it.
Acts 9:17 (MSG) ” So Ananias went and found the house, placed his hands on blind Saul, and said, “Brother Saul, the Master sent me, the same Jesus you saw on your way here. He sent me so you could see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Ras Robinson
August 9, 2012. An opportunity for change is soon coming. You won’t recognize it at first but there will be a time when you realize what is happening. At the time you will have opportunity to choose. The choices will be diametrically opposite, maybe more than you want to consider at first but don’t turn away too quickly. Lay the options out before Me very carefully and wait. You need wisdom before you make these choices or there is something you will miss and regret later. Rely totally on Me and I will show you a clear way to go. You won’t have to wonder with hind sight if it was right.
Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) “But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.” Bev Robinson
August 9, 2012. Today is my precious wife Jeanette’s birthday. What a blessing she is to me and the body of Christ. Her motivational spiritual gift is mercy. She has the ability to empathize with people like no one I’ve ever known. She has a unique way of comforting individuals by her gentle touch, sweet smile, and warm heart. The Lord says, “You have a distinctive way of affecting those around you with the gifts I have given you. Be about being a blessing to people by demonstrating the love I have to give. In whatever gift I have bestowed upon you, make use of those giftings to bring glory to Me.”
1 John 4:7 (AMP) “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].” Kevin Robinson
August 8, 2012. Take time to think and ponder. I have created you as a wonder and placed you among the angels as those I love. Many are the stars, planets and constellations in the heavenly universe. Even Jesus shines brighter than the natural sun with the moon reflecting its glory. These are pictures for your meditation on My glory. I am the greatest of lights as the Father of lights. I sent Jesus into the world to initiate among you the light that drives away darkness. Now that He resides in you, this means you have the same glory and light as Jesus. Do not let life and circumstances put a basket or anything else over you to darken your light. Shine bright, full of the light from the Father of lights.
Psalm 8:3-5 (MSG) “I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous, your handmade sky-jewelry, Moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do you bother with us? Why take a second look our way? Yet we’ve so narrowly missed being gods, bright with Eden’s dawn light.” Ras Robinson
August 8, 2012. Satan is bombarding your mind now with thoughts of failure. You don’t know it’s Satan because it feels like your own thoughts. He always wants you thinking this way. If he can keep you thinking this way, he has you stymied in many areas of your life and especially in one specific area that you deal with a lot. You are comparing yourself with others at this time and that is never good. You are My child. I have made you a joint heir with My only begotten Son. I don’t want you to get in that syndrome of feeling like a failure. Why? Because you are a winner!!!
Ephesians 6:16-18 (NKJV) “Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints –“ Bev Robinson
August 8, 2012. When you have a check in your gut, don’t just blow it off. When you have doubts or gentle nudges within your spirit, pay close attention to what is happening. I have given Holy Spirit authority to keep you in line. Those inner feelings you have are for your protection. Much like ignoring a yield sign on the side of the road, ignoring the sign could have serious repercussions. Holy Spirit gives you checks within your spirit to help you stay on the straight and narrow path. Use your spiritual sideview and rear mirrors constantly and pan the horizon in front of you to see what is around you at all times.
2 Peter 1:19 (NASB) “So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.” Kevin Robinson
August 7, 2012. Brick by brick and stone by stone most homes and buildings are constructed. Put your structure on a firm and unmovable foundation and it will withstand winds and even some fire. I say unto you, “Rock upon rock. That is the way I want you to build your spiritual and temporal life.” Once you have found the Rock, start your construction piece by piece. The words from My Scripture are the essence of whom and what Jesus is and shall ever be. Be ready to give a quick and ready answer to those who question what you believe and how your house is built. Let them see that your whole life and being are built and secured upon the Rock of Ages.
Matthew 7:24-25 (MSG) “These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock. Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit-but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.” Ras Robinson
August 7, 2012. Everything is converging. It is very important that you not let your mind wander off the variety of events happening with all the paths coming together. You don’t want to drop the ball which has been passed directly to you. This started way before you became conscious of what is happening. It was established before the beginning of time. You wonder how that can be? You will discover the many blessings of walking according to My ways. Keep your mind and emotions focused on what is now happening. Don’t get ahead or lag behind. You will learn a great lesson of the advantages of following Me according to My timing.
Psalms 119:10-12 (NASB) ” With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; Teach me Your statutes.” Bev Robinson
August 7, 2012. Embrace each day as fresh and new. Though you may be experiencing heartache that will not end, receive My joy! When it seems like you are taking two steps forward and three steps back in whatever direction you choose, receive My joy! Acknowledge Me at every junction in your life. No matter what your circumstances may be right now or have been, receive My joy! Live in the present, in the here and now. Your spiritual forefathers chose not to live in the past, neither should you. Let the water of My word wash over you every day. Greet each day I’ve provided with newness of heart and mind.
Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”
Lamentations 3:22-24 (NKJV) “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” Kevin Robinson
August 6, 2012. In our church service today, a prophetic word came that God was healing a problem with being vain. Another word was that God was healing veins and vanity with power-like energy from a lightning strike. I realized God was speaking to me about vanity. Have you heard of deveining a shrimp? The Lord said to me, “You are feeling humiliated with the weight of your vanity. Because of vanity you are attempting to do things beyond your present ability and resources. You are overly determined to redeem the years and accomplish the impossible. Humble yourself and receive the deveining of your vanity. Confess your sin.” I did. Do you have an issue with vanity?
Psalm 6:8-10 (MSG) ” Get out of here, you Devil’s crew: at last GOD has heard my sobs. My requests have all been granted, my prayers are answered. Cowards, my enemies disappear. Disgraced, they turn tail and run.” Ras Robinson
August 6, 2012. I wanted to have a Bible Study in my home with lost and unchurched people. I planned to invite people after a neighborhood tennis tournament. My partner and I beat the best players in the club. After the match while being congratulated I bent over to tie my shoe and one who lost poured the rest of her can of beer on my head. I was later told the reason the Bible Study was such a success was the way I reacted as the can of beer was being poured. “Your present testing is for the good reward which will come. I know it is hard but you will pass.”
Hebrews 11:17-19 (NLT) “It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, even though God had told him, “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.” “Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead.” Bev Robinson
August 6, 2012. Even though you get knocked down sometimes, you have not been nor ever will be defeated. Holy Spirit dwells deep within your heart enabling you to be more than a conqueror. You have been equipped to be resilient when hard times surround you. Remember tough times don’t last, but tough people do. Over two thousand years ago the enemy of your soul thought he had Me knocked out. He still believes he can defeat you. Choose decisively to live above the fray. Embrace exclusively who I say you are! Discipline yourself to know Me intimately. Meditate and practice scripture. Submit to what God says and see His glory revealed!
Ephesians 6:10 (NASB) “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.” Kevin Robinson
August 5, 2012. My family is blessed to have so many who have pursued careers in medicine . All of them are full of mercy toward others. My son married a highly acclaimed oncology (specializing in cancer treatment and research) nurse, with several letters following her name. Most times when we are together, I ask her about something going on in my physical body . She reeks of medical wisdom and insight. But even above that she takes whatever time I need for help. Her touch is like that of an angel. I call her my doctor . On several occasions, she has needed mercy. Without fail, I have seen God pour mercy on her. God says, “Someone in your life needs mercy. Go give it.”
Matthew 5:7 (NASB) “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” Ras Robinson
August 5, 2012. It is so good right now, but you have some fear this is not going to last. Rest your thoughts and don’t let them control you. It is time you control your thoughts. The last of the fruit of the spirit is self-control. You can do this, because you will ask and trust My Spirit to be in control through you, doing what you cannot do alone. It is going to remain good. You know there will be some instances where it will not seem that way but in the whole scheme of things it is very good. This is what to keep your mind on because of this all will remain good.
1 Timothy 4:3-5 (NASB) “For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.” Bev Robinson
August 5, 2012. Forgiveness is essential for living a healthy Christian life. I said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Individuals don’t fully comprehend what they’re doing. Otherwise they could see clearly the domino effect of their actions. Satan operates with lie after lie toward all of us. Will you set yourself and others free from crippling bondage you hold over people? Unforgiveness is like a ball and chain; it hinders progress in your life. Allow Me to break the shackles which are entangling your efforts. Let forgiveness be a way of life for you. Let My freedom move freely through love when mercy, and grace have been granted.
Galatians 5:1 (NASB) “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Kevin Robinson
August 4, 2012. Blessed are you if you had or have an earthly father who taught and instructed concerning God and life. From my father, I learned mostly by watching and following him. My son and daughter knew their mother and I were committed to God, His church and our neighbors. When they were teenagers, they were taught to read their Bibles in the mornings and come to breakfast with something they would like to share. Both of them, their mates and their children follow the Lord in like manner. My heart overflows with joyful praise. Fathers today have every opportunity to raise godly children who walk in faith and love. May you be blessed as you do so. The time is now.
Proverbs 4:1-2 (NASB) “Hear, O sons, the instruction of a father, and give attention that you may gain understanding, for I give you sound teaching; Do not abandon my instruction.” Ras Robinson
August 4, 2012. I see and know your heart . Nothing is hidden from Me. You know that and it gives you great comfort. You are not trying to hide. You want everything laid bare before Me. You want to do My will and have no desire to go your own way. This brings Me great pleasure. We are on the same frequency. The concern is you think you heard Me, but the way it is now doesn’t seem to be working. Remember you have an enemy the devil who is fighting you at every turn, because your heart and mind is set to do My will. Don’t give up. My plan will soon emerge.
Galatians 6:8-9 (NASB) “Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Bev Robinson
August 4, 2012. On Thursday, August 2nd, we experienced a full moon. On August 31st, we’ll have another full moon. The second full moon in one month is known as a “blue moon” This is where the saying “once in a blue moon” comes from, which is a way of saying it does not occur very often. The Lord says, “Though this event does not happen very often, it is sign for you to accomplish My purposes and plans. Get yourself in line with My calendar. Institute My order within your heart. I am serious about finishing what I started. A lign your ways with My ways. Can you wrap your mind around what I am accomplishing?”
Isaiah 55:7-9 (NKJV) “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Kevin Robinson
August 3, 2012. Staggering is the thought that God made man in His own image. So why would anyone want to change any part of himself? Sometimes it is medically necessary to do repair work such as we see in wounded warriors, accidents, burns, etc. And because He loves mankind so much, He is seemingly blinded to what seems to us as imperfections. God likes and love you exactly as He made you. There is a beauty He sees and delights you. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you should be in awe and wonder over how God made you. None of your appearance is distasteful to God. Rather, He is glorified by you. You make God happy simply by being yourself, just as you are, before Him. Let it stagger you daily so that you rejoice before Him with praise and dance.
Genesis 1:27-28 (NASB) “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Ras Robinson
August 3, 2012. See? There was no need to worry. Let this past experience be summed up as a lesson. In the future remember what I did this time as a result of your prayers and trust in Me . I would never do anything that would bring you harm . If it seems harmful, you will see in the end that it wasn’t harmful. At the time something is happening, if you remain walking in the Spirit you will be able to believe that what is happening is not harmful. At the time you may not see the blessing but know in your spirit a blessing will follow and no harm will come in any way.
1 Peter 5:9-11 (MSG) ” Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ-eternal and glorious plans they are! – will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.” Bev Robinson
August 3, 2012. This is not meant to be a flattering word about my sister’s husband Jonas, but it’s rather an observation of a Christ given attribute he exhibits. Jonas makes space for everyone he encounters. For over thirty five years I have quietly watched him be tolerant of people and their behavior toward himself and others. He’s a friend who has been closer than a brother to me! The Lord says, “Imitate those around you who lead by example. Let My love and acceptance abound to everyone you encounter. Tolerance is not a bad word. People around you want to know if you see them as being precious regardless of their shortcomings.”
Romans 2:4 (NLT) “Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?” Kevin Robinson
August 2, 2012. Your home port is always to be a place of peace and blessing. Last night my wife prepared a feast of catfish and hushpuppies, something I seldom get to eat anymore. She caught the fish in our nearby lake, waiting on catching just the right size fish. The meal was like a short trip to Heaven might be. In profusely thanking her, she replied “I did it as an act of showing my love for you!” By the look in her eyes, I realized a little of how God’s love is a generous and profound gift from God’s heart . Joking she said, “Now what are you going to do for me?” Immediately I offered a double dip of ice cream on another night. She was pleased. Let love abound!
1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (NASB) “But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.” Ras Robinson
August 2, 2012. A new day has arrived. The old is passing away. You will be amazed at what will happen. Yes, you have done your part, and I am pleased with you. Now the apex of the experience is something which My Spirit will accomplish. It takes both your godly action and My power. When both work in unison, My plan is established. From the beginning My plan has been good and produces peace and joy . It may not be evident at first. Just keep on saying and doing what you hear Me say and see Me do. Jesus did that and changed the world. You do that and your world will change.
John 12:49 (NASB) “For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.”
John 5:19 (NASB) ” Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” Bev Robinson
August 2, 2012. When My word says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “pray without ceasing;”. What does it mean? It means exactly what I meant it to say! Whether in the quiet place, in the pew, while driving, while bathing, in everything you do, pray! Through the process of prayer is where My will gets accomplished. Approach My throne with gladness of heart, offering up gratitude, knowing My will is perfect for you. I am causing, not most things, nor some things, but all things to work together for good to those who love Me, and are called according to My purpose. My purpose is for you to pray! Saying, “thank you Lord” every time.
James 5:16 (NASB) “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NASB) “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” K evin Robinson
August 1, 2012. Rejoice that God is so pleased with your love for His word because His word is really Jesus. Jesus was sent to earth by the Father to be the Word of God among us. His word is life and light forever in us, driving away darkness all around us. When we are full of His word and meditate on it day and night it becomes part of us. Then the Holy Spirit is sent to us to activate this word in our lives. As this happens, the Kingdom of God has come to us. We are now empowered in all things, especially fruit bearing. We do not wither but rather, we flourish and prosper as a testimony of God in the earth. Rejoice.
Psalm 1:2-3 (KJV) “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Ras Robinson
August 1, 2012. Someone hurt you and their words and actions embarrassed you because it was done with other people hearing what was said . Now you spend a lot of time thinking about what happened. Stop and think about this. Negative revengeful thinking is not good for you . It releases biochemicals in your body that are destructive. There are so many good things to think about which instead release good biochemicals that heal. Don’t choose to dwell at the place of hurt and embarrassment. Forgive. Forgive. Forgive. Bless and do not curse. Return good for evil. This turns the table on the devil. Do not give Satan and his demons a foothold in your life.
Psalms 109:17-18 (AMP) “Yes, he loved cursing, and it came [back] upon him; he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him. He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment, and it seeped into his inward [life] like water, and like oil into his bones.” Bev Robinson
August 1, 2012. Merriam Webster’s dictionary definition of CRÈME DE LA CRÈME is, “the very best”. The origin is French and literally means cream of the cream. The Lord says, “Crème de la crème, that’s what you are to Me. You have My DNA running throughout your whole body. I only have the very best to offer you and all that I have is yours. With that in mind, embrace totally your lineage and move about as royalty. You are the best, the elite. Take pride in who you are through Me. Yet stay meek and humble all the while. You are a royal priesthood and My choice. Rise to the top with excellence.”
1 Peter 2:9 (NASB) “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, aholy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” Kevin Robinson
