What the Lord is Saying Today – July 2012
July 31, 2012. Women, this is your day and your season. I have a friend who has been discriminated against in ministry because of her gender. God is bringing about light and revelation so that this is about to change. The Holy Spirit has been preparing a female generation for this hour and for the hours to come . I had the pleasure of advocating for my wife in ministry. She is as godly as anyone I know. Her command of Scripture and her prolific wisdom in matters concerning others is phenomenal. She has raised up our two children as oaks of righteousness and blossoming vines in God’s vineyard. In like manner she has helped shape and mold her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is a legend in her own time. As a wife, she lacks nothing! Look around you and see the great number of female spiritual leaders of today. Women, seize this hour! We are in a new season of grace.
Proverbs 31:27-31 (NASB) “She looks well to the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and bless her; her husband also, and he praises her, saying: many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all . Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her the product of her hands, And let her works praise her in the gates.” Ras Robinson
July 31, 2012. Just keep praying. Just keep hoping. Just keep believing. I know sometimes you have a dip in faith, but you don’t entertain doubt very long. You visit doubt briefly. Then you quickly get back into faith. It’s good that you exhibit that the righteous live by faith. Occasional doubt will not keep the promise from happening. Some doubt is normal, but you don’t stay there and this is good. I am pleased with your progress and journey in faith. You know I am there and you turn to Me when you need to. This is good. Keep growing and believing and your promise will suddenly materialize.
Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Bev Robinson
July 31, 2012. The status quo will not suffice any longer. It is not acceptable in society. Neither is the current state within My church acceptable. Prepare yourself for another type of revolution, much like the industrial revolution of the past. Only this time it will be a spiritual one . I’m about to pour unfamiliar signs and wonders among you, like none of you have ever heard or seen before. Do not close your mind to the upcoming phenomena. Be willing to have your horizon expanded. Embrace My power surge surrounding you. Look intently for My supernatural presence in the natural.
Isaiah 43:2 (NASB) “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.” Kevin Robinson
July 30, 2012. Sometimes you feel like crying out “Why can’t the poor, needy, hungry, and thirsty not take care of themselves? Why do I have to worry with that just because I am not needy?” How do you respond to the downtrodden looking people who stand on the streets at intersections with signs that read “Homeless. Need food and a job? Do you restrain your instincts to give? Have you thought judgmental thoughts or spoken such words to them rather than give to their needs? If it were Jesus Himself standing there instead, how would it change your mind? Have you ever thought of that poor beggar person after you drive away and ask yourself, “Why didn’t I give? What difference does it make if he is a liar or fake? Does the instruction of Jesus’ words put conditions on helping the poor, needy, hungry or thirsty?” Jesus says, “I love you and I love them. Give!”
Matthew 25:43-45 (NASB) “I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me. Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.” Ras Robinson
July 30, 2012. There are two streams of thought running through your mind. They are bedrock thoughts and you don’t know which one to believe. One thought is you have done it again and this time you can’t recover. The other is My grace does not run out and I will forgive you and you can begin again. You aren’t sure which stream of thinking is the right one. You don’t trust anyone completely and know if you ask you will doubt what is said. Now you are being honest. That is where we need to start. Stay in this position of honesty. You have trusted just Me in the past. Do it again.
Romans 8:38-39 (AMP) “For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Bev Robinson
July 30, 2012. With the world focusing its attention on London and the 2012 Summer Olympics, I’ve been thinking a lot about England’s former prime minister and popular statesman Winston Churchill. He said, “History will be kind to me because I intend to write it.” Indeed the history books tell a favorable tale of Mr. Churchill and his accomplishments. The Lord says, “Believe the very best about yourself. Treat everyone with dignity and respect. Validate yourself within your mind, will, and emotions, and give others validation in like manner which I have also done for you. You are responsible for your own actions. Each day, tell a wonderful story of how you live and move.”
2 Corinthians 13:11(NIV) “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.” Kevin Robinson
July 29, 2012. You feel like you are only passing through this life until it is over and you go to Heaven. Right? You would have felt at home with King David when he wrote and sang the words in Psalm 39. He was in a hard place. Hard places are not usually comfortable. In your heritage is the condition of being a temporary dweller or “sojourner” as David called it. Perhaps your father and his father before him were sojourners on land that was not theirs. That leaves a mark on your life for present situations you are facing. The truth is that you are indeed a temporary dweller. God says, “But I have given you a destiny, a purpose and the promise that you will count for something. I have chosen you for this hour to display My glory in all you are and do. You are blessed to fulfill the mission.”
Psalm 39:12 (NASB) “Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; do not be silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You, a sojourner like all my fathers.” Ras Robinson
July 29, 2012. Get yourself off to a fast start. Get going early and see how much more time you have. Each has the same amount of time, but some use it better than others. Wise use of time is one of the marks of success. There is a saying “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” This is not in Scripture but nevertheless is a truthful saying and close to Scripture. Apply your time and activity to things that are productive. Even when you are resting, the mind applied to good peaceful positive thoughts will produce a good outcome. One of the byproducts is a healthy body. Use time wisely.
Proverbs 19:15 (AMP) “Slothfulness casts one into a deep sleep, and the idle person shall suffer hunger.” Bev Robinson
July 29, 2012. So, what is it within you that is a real pain in the neck for you personally? It is something very specific that only you and I know about. In all actuality it is a control valve to keep you in check and to keep you humble. Though the bur underneath the saddle may seem insignificant, it is a source of constant discomfort for you. I have allowed it to remain with you, in order to keep you from elevating yourself needlessly and inappropriately. Though you’ve asked Me many times for the issue to be resolved. Consider it a blessing, that you have not entered into what Lucifer encountered with Me.
2 Corinthians 12:6-8 (NKJV) “For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.” Kevin Robinson
July 28, 2012. An amazing thing began happening to me in June, 2011. God asked me to begin sharing with our subscribers and the nations some of the deeper revelations He has poured into me over the years, particularly about building the Kingdom of God in our hearts and lives. He said He was going to give me “witty inventions” that multiply with little cost these revelations I bring. We began webcasting last September and found ourselves reaching each state in the USA and over 25 other nations. The webcasts were blessed by God. After the broadcast in May, I started a “summer break” from the monthly webcasts. On September 21 we will re-start those Internet broadcasts at 7:00 p.m. (Central Daylight Time). The first revelation teaching will be “Six Keys to Unlocking the Kingdom of God.” Watch for more information to come in the weeks ahead. Please pray. I am very excited that God has commissioned this.
Psalm 121:8 (NASB) “The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever.” Ras Robinson
July 28, 2012. There is something you think you want to do . The question: Is it of the flesh or of the Spirit? If it is of the flesh you can spend a lot of time and the end result will not be productive and may even be destructive. If it is of the Spirit the results will last into eternity. Deep down in your heart you know this. Don’t let what other people want you to do overrule what you believe is the right thing. But keep an open mind and listen. The deciding voice needs to be Mine. Ask Me. Seek with no preconceived idea of what My answer will be.
1 Corinthians 3:11-13 (KJV) “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble: Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” Bev Robinson
July 28, 2012. Down deep within your soul I want you to know that I am with you. When you’ve seemingly reached the end of your rope, know that I am there. While hopelessness and gloom appear to be looming around every corner, fear not. Focus your attention on the mighty things I have done for you in the past. Don’t let your mind dwell on any negative circumstances that are pounding at your door. Let the water of My word wash over you. My lovingkindness reaches from the valleys to the seemingly insurmountable peaks. Listen for Me in the night watches. I sing over you with joy. Can you hear Me?
Psalm 42:6-8 (NASB)” O my God, my soul is in despair within me; Therefore I remember You from the land of the Jordan, And the peaks of Hermon, from Mount Mizar. Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life.” Kevin Robinson
July 27, 2012. Your heart is stirred towards evangelism again. My Father has compassionate love for all peoples everywhere. He desires redemption of all who will believe. The fields are white unto harvest all over the earth and He is looking for the expression of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, of the Father and of the Son Jesus. You are not left alone in preaching and teaching salvation. The stirring you feel in your heart is caused by the gifts God has given. All you have to do is surrender to that gifting within you and begin seeking ways to evangelize. The Lord says, “Follow up the conversions with discipleship training and change the world. The message you heard just a few moments ago from a tested and proven prophet to learn ‘inner-net-working’ with His body was a message from Me. Connect with others and get the job done.”
John 21:11 (AMP) “So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, 153 of them; and [though] there were so many of them, the net was not torn.” Ras Robinson
July 27, 2012. Waves of disappointments washed over you. At times you felt you would make it and at other times you felt for sure you would go under. Right now you have hit a brick wall in understanding ways to advance. Change scenes. Move. Go to another place. It doesn’t have to be far just another place. Things will be different there. You will be able to get a different perspective. You can’t see or hear Me clearly now. There is too much clutter. But in this other place you will discover the wisdom you have been seeking. You will be able to hear and understand Me clearly and make beneficial decisions.
James 1:5-7 (NLT) “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” Bev Robinson
July 27, 2012. Do everything you do as if you are doing it all unto Me. Return back to the old school mindset which meant your handshake was your word. Position yourself to be known as one operates with skill and care in everything you do. Whether it is word or deed, take pride in how you move. You have been given particular skills which are unique unto you. Use these skills to bring glory to Me. Follow through is an area where people are lacking excellence. Change that mindset and be about being a person skilled with distinction. The same approach should be taken when you are handling My word. Move with precision.
Proverbs 22:1, 29 (NASB) “A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, favor is better than silver and gold.” “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.” Kevin Robinson
July 26, 2012. Someone very close has disrespected and dishonored you on two occasions recently. The hurt was raw and unredemptive. But you have survived the hurt as a stronger person in grace and forgiveness. You have seen that the hurt was not intentional but came within the principle of hurt people hurt people. Somehow that cycle of hurting out of hurt must cease. A battle has been raging in the pits of Hell over these incidents. Your destinies in God are known in Hell. Satan has enjoyed sifting and is standing ready to do it again. But the Lord says, “Jesus has prayed that the hurting stop and that you use these occasions of hurt to point the way to help heal others.”
Luke 22:31-32 (AMP) “Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has asked excessively that [all of] you be given up to him [out of the power and keeping of God], that he might sift [all of] you like grain, but I have prayed especially for you [Peter], that your [own] faith may not fail; and when you yourself have turned again, strengthen and establish your brethren.” Ras Robinson
July 26, 2012. Part of the reason for your success in many things you do is that you expect so much of yourself. Most times this is a good thing. But along with high expectation, extend grace to yourself. You are a person among people and people act like people. You are not God. You are a human being. Many times you are harder on yourself than I am. I know you are to be perfect as I am perfect. I have set a high goal. But it’s a goal. You and I know sometimes you miss the mark. When you do miss it, don’t spend time picking yourself apart. Confess and start again.
Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV) “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
July 26, 2012. Embrace yourself as being someone like Barnabas. His name means “son of consolation”. He was the one who befriended Paul when Paul was young and vouched for the sincere change which took place within Paul. He was the one who sold all he had and put all of it at the feet of the apostles. He was sent with confidence by the church in Jerusalem to Antioch because he was highly esteemed and respected. You are a person admired by others because of your inner character traits of excellence. Don’t discount yourself. You have My charisma within you just like Barnabas did. Continue to stand up and be one who comes alongside.
Acts 11:22-24 (NKJV) “Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord. For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.” Kevin Robinson
July 25, 2012. You have some challenges beginning to appear on the horizon. This that is coming will be for a season only. Brace and prepare yourself for hard times beyond what you have known. Do not panic or be afraid. Into each life some difficulties come. Never let this surprise you any more than does a sudden and very hot summer season or an unusually cold winter. Life is neither perfect nor fair. Take it as it comes. Prepare for the worst and expect the best. What comes is what comes. Make the most of it and never lose hope in the face of certain and impending change. I am your guide and protector.
Psalm 1:3 (NASB) “He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.” Ras Robinson
July 25, 2012. A desire is deep within your heart. You want it so much but are afraid to express it for fear it won’t happen, but tell Me anyway. In the quiet recesses of your heart and mind express to Me your deep desires. When you do this express all the reasons why and all the reasons why not. Then leave it alone. You won’t find happiness in seeking your own way. Trust Me to form your heart to My desire. In the long run this is what makes you happy. I see the end from the beginning. I always know what is best for you. I always want what is best for you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Bev Robinson
July 25, 2012. Don’t give up. Step up your praying to a higher level. Tenacity is an admirable trait which I have placed within you. I hear your cries directed toward Me. Although you may have feelings of defeat, don’t quit. In regard to salvation for your friends and loved ones, continue seeking Me. Ask Me for strength when you get weary. My word says to pray without ceasing. I tell you to assert yourself. Don’t be ashamed of Me and My gospel. I love to hear your voice. Whether it’s in the quiet or out in the open, continue to pray without end. Though you may get exhausted, I never sleep or slumber.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV) “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Kevin Robinson
July 24, 2012. Are you struggling with your feelings of inadequacy to please Me? Some people spend a lifetime seeking and searching for ways to be with Me. They seek Me without knowledge of My word. This means they do not know the instructions and clues I have given on how to find Me. They do not feel worthy of finding Me. Quit looking for Me in the dry and dusty places. Those are the dwelling places and habitat of the devil. Find My hill and learn to ascend it under the conditions I prescribe. Wash your hands and purify your heart. Cease from lying and deceitfulness. Be real and proud of who I have made you to be. On My hill there are blessings forever and righteousness as the cherry on top. Come up here.
Psalm 24:3-5 (NASB) “Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” Ras Robinson
July 24, 2012. Why you feel so separated is a mystery. But nevertheless is the way you feel quite often. You aren’t sure exactly when you started feeling this way, but this is how you feel now. Don’t spend time a lot of time thinking about it or you will begin feeling even more separated. If you start getting too negatively introspective, the devil hops on you and then the problem seems to get out of hand. Go on about your business and get your mind on what is before you to do. This isn’t about you. You haven’t caused it but you are perpetuating it. Call to Me. I will show you what to do.
Jeremiah 33:3 (NASB) “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Bev Robinson
July 24, 2012. Each day of your life, make the determination within yourself not to, “run with the devil!” Crucify your flesh continually so you will not be swayed by carnal thinking. The word in 1 Corinthians 15:33 reads, “Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals.” Be careful who you associate with . Concentrate your efforts toward people who build up. Don’t associate yourself with those who are constantly tearing down. Words are very powerful and people’s actions often speak louder than their words do. Make the choice to choose life, not death. Refuse to be misled down paths of destruction. I have created a clean heart within you. Renew yourself daily with Me.
Romans 2:1-2 (NASB) “Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgement, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. And we know that the judgement of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.” Kevin Robinson
July 23, 2012. These are the times for praise in all the earth. Let the rafters ring and the bells toll. Lift your voice and your instruments to the One and only High God in Heaven. Only He is worthy. Storm the gates of hell with loud shouts and uproarious praise. Fill the air with your tunes to honor the King of Kings. This is no time to give slack and rest to the enemy of your soul. Find nicks and crannies to fill with high praise. The enemy would love you being saddened and depressed. He enjoys your discouragement and heaviness of spirit. But it is not to be so with you my child. Praise the Lord!
Psalm 92:1-3 (NASB) “It is good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, with the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, with resounding music upon the lyre.” Ras Robinson
July 23, 2012. I know things have not gone as well as you had hoped, but don’t get irritated. This negative attitude will not help matters; in fact it will make it worse if you remain in the vein you are in. You don’t have to act out what you feel. It is not good now and will not be good for the future. Rein your negative thoughts in bind them all together and cast them from you. Then get your mind on any good thing you can think of. Even bring to mind things you can laugh about. This is not faking it. It is looking on the bright side and it works.
Psalms 25:2 (AMP) “O my God, I trust, lean on, rely on, and am confident in You. Let me not be put to shame or [my hope in You] be disappointed; let not my enemies triumph over me.” Bev Robinson
July 23, 2012. Go above and beyond what is expected of you. Move past yourself by going beyond what is required. The key to peace is knowing who you are. Hide yourself within Me. My love is what the world needs. People want to know if you love and accept them for who they are. Instead of passing judgement with your attitude and actions, or trying to change others through retaliation, let My forgiveness reign. Contrary to popular belief, warfare is not against flesh and blood. Walk in harmony with each other. Don’t allow your flesh or Satan into any situation. Let My peace be the governing factor in all you do.
Matthew 5:38-42 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. ‘But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. A nd whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.” Kevin Robinson
July 22, 2012. Can you say, “Nevertheless, Thy will be done?” Someone is facing what you believe will be the fiery trial of your lifetime. You would like to walk away from the entire situation. But you cannot. Therefore you have the same opportunity as did Jesus in facing the fiery trial of being nailed to the cross publicly being innocent of all charges. You feel the same way and yet your lot has been drawn and the choice is made. Only you can stop it. But you suspect and even believe it is the Father’s will that you face this. At least you have to be totally and truthfully willing to surrender your choice to the Father, just as Jesus did.
Mark 14:36 (NKJV) “And He said, ‘Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.'” Ras Robinson
July 22, 2012. Hope has been dashed on the rocks of reality. It had been high, very high, much higher than it had been in a long time. But suddenly it came tumbling down. You aren’t sure what to do now. Do you dare hope again? It would be a stretch for you now. You are rolling this over in your mind much as you have done in the past. One thing not to do is to obsess about it. Forget it right now … lay it down … wait. Now is not the time to take action. Action right now with dogged determination would be in the flesh. You don’t want that. Wait on Me.
1 Corinthians 4:5 (NASB) “Therefore do not go on passing judgement before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God.” Bev Robinson
July 22, 2012. As a young boy, I remember singing a rhyme with my sister Robin almost every night we were outdoors. The lyrics were “Star light, star bright, the first star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.” I can see all my grandparents looking to the heavens with awe at God’s creation of lights day and night for their enjoyment. The three wise men looked to the sky, seeking direction of where to find Jesus. To this day, I look up, seeking wisdom and direction. The Lord says, “Be watchful and attentive. Look and speak to the heavens. My return is imminent”
Genesis 1:14-15 (MSG) “God spoke: ‘Lights! Come out! Shine in Heaven’s sky! Separate Day from Night. Mark seasons and days and years, lights in Heaven’s sky to give light to Earth.’ And there it was.” Kevin Robinson
July 21, 2012. “At what are you looking,” says the Lord. “You have eyes to see and I have much to show you. You are changed by what you see and the fact that you see something brings life to it. Therefore, look with the eyes of your Lord God at the things of His choosing. When you see as I see, discernment comes with both knowledge and wisdom. By this wisdom, situations are redeemed, families are strengthened and saved, while the nations of the earth are touched with My love. By your looking at a matter, you bring life to it. Some things do not exist until you look. Suddenly they come forth because you have made them visible. Think how you can change everything around you by speaking and seeing as I do.” Abraham called what was not reality into reality by calling it as though it were reality. You can do the same thing.
Romans 4:18 (MSG) “When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, “You’re going to have a big family, Abraham!” Ras Robinson
July 21, 2012. What it comes down to is how will you use today? Will you use it complaining about things you can’t change … about things you can change…thinking of how you are appreciated or not appreciated? Will you be overcome by your surroundings or where you are in life? Or will you give this day to Me and allow Me to permeate you afresh and anew with My Spirit? Don’t wait for the day to mold you. You mold the day. You have authority over your thoughts and attitudes. Will there be troubles? Haven’t there always been? Walk through them with grace toward yourself and others. What you give out will come back.
Matthew 6:33-34 (NLT) “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Bev Robinson
July 21, 2012. You have heard it said before that you only get one first impression. Unfortunately you have become quick to pass judgement either by what is heard, said, seen or felt. Instead, why not try to be slower in your response to the matters which you encounter. Instill patience within you instead of rushing to conclusions before knowing all the details of a situation. Make an honest effort to be more open-minded and inclusive instead of cold and exclusive. You can’t judge a book by its cover. Neither can you perceive fully all situations before you. Pursue peace in all arenas of your life and allow Christ Jesus and His love to prevail.
Psalm 34:14 (NASB) “Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.” Kevin Robinson
July 20, 2012. How long, how long will you feel rejected? Maybe you were born into rejection because you were not wanted as a child. Perhaps your mother became pregnant at the very end of her abilities to conceive a child. You were a surprise child seemingly out of season. Certainly your mother adored you but maybe your father never wanted you, yet loved you. You became a carrier of rejection, straight from your earthly father. But there came a time when you found your Heavenly Father’s love and acceptance to be enough. You began to realize who you are in His Son Jesus and you burst forth, breaking the chains of rejection. How long then will you feel rejected? Not one minute longer. Celebrate your acceptance.
Romans 11:15 (NASB) “For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” Ras Robinson
July 20, 2012. Something has happened that has caused you to feel uncomfortable around someone. Something was said in a group that you said in private. The more you think about it the more upset you become. It is growing in your mind, and something needs to be done. First talk to Me thoroughly with all you know. I know you don’t want to but you need to talk to the person who has hurt you. I know it is easier to talk to others about it, but that will spread strife. Instead talk to a mature, trusted person to get some relief and who will give you godly counsel. Then Trust me.
Romans 12:17-19 (NASB) “Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord.” Bev Robinson
July 20, 2012. Forty three years ago today, United States Astronaut Commander Neil Armstrong made one of the biggest achievements in the history of mankind. Before the lunar module landed on the moon, he said, “We came in peace for all mankind.” He later said, “Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed.” While stepping on the moon he said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” The Lord says, “Like Joshua before you, be strong and very courageous! For I am with you always. Fear has no part in your walk with Me. Have faith in Me to accomplish greater things than Neil Armstrong did. You can move mountains!”
Joshua 1:3-5 (NASB) “Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory. No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life . Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.” Kevin Robinson
July 19, 2012. Being able to remember is My gift to you. When young, you dwell on dreams of the future. As you age, you have more visions of what I am revealing while recalling much of your past. Wise is the one who recalls the good in thankfulness and celebration, while learning from the bad as well. Practice the good lessons and principles gained that lead to life and success. Nothing, time nor circumstance, is wasted in the Lord’s continuum of His plan for you. All things are working together for your good and His pleasure. Today, I am asking you to spend time remembering while harvesting My dreams and visions for you in this season of your life and the next very rich season.
Revelation 3:3 (MSG) “Think of the gift you once had in your hands, the Message you heard with your ears-grasp it again and turn back to God…” Ras Robinson
July 19, 2012. An encounter will happen with someone which will seem like chance, but you will know it isn’t chance. It is a direct answer to something you have been wondering about. This encounter will be a reminder and even a seal on something that you need to continue. You were walking a path that I wanted you on. I was directing your walking on that path more than you know. You walked the path. In fact you and others danced on the path. The results the first time were amazing. A lot of time has passed since you first began. You haven’t done anything wrong. Just get back on the path.
Psalms 16:11 (NASB) “You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Bev Robinson
July 19, 2012. You are not alone with your expressions of frustration. Step back and take note of how everyone around you experiences different levels of defeat . I’ve taken note of how we all give verbal expression through sighs and grunts because we feel we’ve been unjustly wronged. Though I see it as a bit comical, it might give you some relief in knowing that others experience similar forms of setbacks. The Lord says, “Listen carefully to the complaints of those around you, though you may feel you are the only one facing difficulty. Trouble can unjustly appear at the most inappropriate times more often than not. Life just isn’t fair at times.”
Isaiah 59:10-12 (NLT) “We grope like the blind along a wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark. Among the living, we are like the dead. We growl like hungry bears; we moan like mournful doves. We look for justice, but it never comes. We look for rescue, but it is far away from us. For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us. Yes, we know what sinners we are.” Kevin Robinson
July 18, 2012. I see your heart and it is good. You have heard My call to feed and educate children living under bridges, on city streets and garbage dumps. This was strange to you to be asked by Me to rescue, love and propagate to and through them the Gospel of freedom and prosperity. You reached in and touched their faces while holding them tight. How did you feel while sloshing through city dumpsites with Me? I have seen you not turn away from the needy. Now look around you. Just like I said would happen, hundreds of others like you have joined the cause. And it is now time to release the strategies necessary to change a nation. I am holding your hand and heart as you go forward. I love everything about you.
2 Timothy 2:23-26 (MSG) “Refuse to get involved in inane discussions; they always end up in fights. God’s servant must not be argumentative, but a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working firmly but patiently with those who refuse to obey. You never know how or when God might sober them up with a change of heart and a turning to the truth, enabling them to escape the Devil’s trap, where they are caught and held captive, forced to run his errands.” Ras Robinson
July 18, 2012. The lowest measurement in time and space is 10-33 seconds and 10-43 centimeters. At that level, which of course cannot be seen, is substance much like tiny minute bubbles. Within each bubble is a possibility or potentiality. Physicists call these individual bubbles “quiffs.” Scripture calls these possibilities “faith.” What is the possibility or desire I have put within you? What are you believing Me for? Remember Abraham! What I told him he could have … he thought was too good to be true. But after a flash of flesh he decided to believe Me. Trust Me to pare away all flesh until there remains the pure nugget of faith.
Romans 4:19-20 (NLT) “And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead-and so was Sarah’s womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.” Bev Robinson
July 18, 2012. I took a college algebra class where the professor overworked the solution to a certain equation. I spoke up and said there was a much easier way to solve the problem. He allowed me to give an alternate solution. The class as a whole was greatly relieved and the professor didn’t feel threatened by my input. The Lord says, “Recognize that we are all in this together. You are trying to over complicate matters which are very simple at their core. Simplify the ways you handle situations which affect people at large. Be willing to receive input from those you know, realizing that people are not out to get you.”
Proverbs 21:11 (MSG) “Simpletons only learn the hard way, but the wise learn by listening.” Kevin Robinson
July 17, 2012. You are being expected to do something that is totally impossible in the natural. I t has caused strain upon your nerves and as a result anxiety in your soul. As a witness and testimony to others, it is important that you do the expected. When once you yield, provision will suddenly appear. The source will surprise you because you have never heard of it being done before. Now great faith must be exercised. God says, “Step out in faith. Do precisely what you hear the Lord telling you. In so doing, you will have both found and used the very key you need.” In your obedience, you will bless many and be an example to more than a generation of those who look to you to find their way.
Matthew 17:27 (MSG) “But so we don’t upset them needlessly, go down to the lake, cast a hook, and pull in the first fish that bites. Open its mouth and you’ll find a coin. Take it and give it to the tax men. It will be enough for both of us.” Ras Robinson
July 17, 2012. When you are following Me you are on the right track. Of course there are other tracks. There are many other tracks you could be on, but My track is the only one that will bring you to the right destination. You don’t think of the final destination as much as you should. Allow your mind and spirit to ascend to heights above you. Then you can see events that happen from My point of view. This enables you to get through difficult circumstances better and enjoy the enjoyable even more. My desire is to lift you to that higher plane. Let it also be your desire. Follow My track.
Job 35:5 (AMP) “Look to the heavens and see; and behold the skies which are higher than you.” Bev Robinson
July 17, 2012. At all times, seek to present yourself as a follower of Me. People are always watching and waiting to see how a Christian responds to adversity. Though you are not perfect, you as a believer are held to higher standards by those in your community. The way you act should be different. The way you speak should be different. The motives within your heart should be operating on a higher plane. See to it that no one be led astray by any attitude coming from your heart and mouth. You have been made holy . Listen to Me. Let Me keep you and protect you from those who would criticize your testimony.
Leviticus 20:26 (NIV) “You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.” Kevin Robinson
July 16, 2012. Nothing moves you away from God once you have decided to stick with Him. You made a decision to invite Him to take over your life. He has struck an eternal covenant to forever protect and defend you from all enemies. You would be a fool to even try to walk away. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can take you away. His grace is sufficient to see you through your current and future problems. He is the one who will never let you down nor forsake you. Take a moment to thank Him for the rains that are falling outside. You have prayed so long and hard. Now, He answers by opening the clouds over you.
Psalm 16:8 (MSG) “Day and night I’ll stick with GOD; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go.” Ras Robinson
July 16, 2012. Draw on the Holy Spirit’s power within to change negative thinking, behavior and habits. These are things you have wanted to change for a long time. The old way is entrenched within your brain. Allow Me to form a new mental picture of the desired change. Over and over repeatedly think and act on this new picture and your brain will actually rewire. If the old way reoccurs, shout NO! And return quickly to your new thoughts and actions. This way leads to freedom, joy and peace like nothing you have ever experienced. Walk out this path and what you have always wanted will seem to suddenly occur.
Philippians 4:8-9 (MSG) “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious-the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Bev Robinson
July 16, 2012. Stay open minded. Just because you have not seen or heard of something before does not mean it is not legitimate. Be willing to receive Me in any form that I desire to show up. Be careful not to quench Holy Spirit in the way in which He moves. No one knows which way the wind blows from one moment to the next and no one can harness its power. Likewise, do not limit the power with which We as One operate. Receive, embrace and cling to those things that are true. Have childlike faith to believe the unbelievable. Many have missed a blessing because of their unwillingness to receive.
Matthew 11:4-6 (NASB) “Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: the blind receive sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have thegospel preached to them. And blessed is he who does nottake offense at Me.” K evin Robinson
July 15, 2012. “Jesus loves the Church,” my wife told me this morning. She went on to say, “He loves you and me, but He loves the Church. That is what He died for.” She has a way of occasionally speaking to me right from the throne room of God’s heart. This was one of those times. The Church is the called and assembled out ones who belong to God. Jesus is the head of the Church as the Chief Physician and is able to heal. He loves each believer enough that He died for each one and all those called and assembled. Jesus loves the church! Therefore, love the church as Jesus loves the church. She deserves your love.
James 5:13-15 (MSG) Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven-healed inside and out.” Ras Robinson
July 15, 2012. For a while you’ve thought you wouldn’t make it. Don’t give up. You will make it. Keep your mind focused on that absolute truth. You will because I know you and you will make it. Keep your mind focused on that. Circumstances still appear not to have changed, but nevertheless they have. So now listen, watch, immerse yourself in Me rather than in what is happening in and around you. This is all fitted into My plan. The circumstances were not of My making, but I have allowed them to come. Nothing comes to you except through Me. Now adjust to My pace and you will conquer this.
1 John 5:4-5 (MOFF) “for whatever is born of God conquers the world. Our faith, that is the conquest which conquers the world. Who is the world’s conqueror but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” Bev Robinson
July 15, 2012. When someone gets something new, they sometimes become overly fascinated with whatever the idea, contraption, or possibilities might be. They have deep thoughts of what it might be or develop into. The Lord says, “Exhibit self-control when you are presented with situations like these. Pace yourself. Apply true diligence and move about with care. Don’t lose sight of those things which are most precious to you. Maintain a healthy, balanced and respectful frame of mind during those times. Move deliberately, bit by bit, and carefully during phases like this. Be careful not to rush to judgement. Move slowly. Many people have been wounded unnecessarily because of someone else’s impromptu decisions.”
Proverbs 25:28 (NASB) “Like a city that is broken into and without walls is a man who has no control over his spirit.” Kevin Robinson
July 14, 2012. Living positively is a key to peace with God and others. Your mind may be accustomed to seeing the problems and pitfalls in life. Perhaps you are a gifted or talented problem solver and thus you see and identify the negative and broken. You have read of Jesus becoming angry at the moneychangers in the temple. He also confronted religious leaders of His day. He saw things as they really were. But He ate the bread of His Father as His nourishment. Doing the Father’s will was His utmost priority. His Father was redemptive, even as He saw things that were wrong. Let Him transform your mind. Dwell on the positive and peace will flood your soul and radiate from you to others.
Philippians 4:8-9 (NASB) “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Ras Robinson
July 14, 2012. I recently saw the movie “The Help.” It is sad to say in some cases what is seen in that movie is the way it was. I grew up in that era. During that time I lived in Mobile, Alabama and rode a public transportation bus to and from school. I don’t remember the bad incident, but one day I moved to the back of the bus where black people sat. An elderly lady said to me, “Baby you don’t need to be back here” I replied “Yes ma’am I do” and there I rode for many days. “There is something on which you need to take a stand. Do it without fanfare, but nevertheless do it.”
Deuteronomy 12:28 (AMP) “Be watchful and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.” Bev Robinson
July 14, 2012. Make the most of the time you’ve been given. I am the only one who knows the amount of breaths you have remaining. Therefore, be wise with how you use your time. Will it be spent pursuing vanity for yourself? Perhaps your time is spent toward missions, or some form of discipleship or mentoring? While there is time remaining, I encourage you to yield your will towards Mine. Bow before me and see My glory revealed. Give your time to things of My kingdom. Store up for yourself treasures in heaven. Invest your time in Me. The rewards I have in store are out of this world.
Ecclesiastes 3:15,17 (NIV) “Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account”…”God will bring into judgement both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.” Kevin Robinson
July 13, 2012. The prophets among you who speak only for and from Me are worthy of honor. But some prophets of today are speaking from their own flesh and for their own gain. I am sending a harbinger to correct the present day prophets who do not speak for Me. I am sending a judgement against them by withholding my supernatural power. They will speak boldly but My power will not be manifested through them. This will begin a sign that the end of days are upon the earth today. A correction must come for the sake of My people. Therefore, let the cleansing of the house of the Lord begin and move with speed and force.
Matthew 13:57-58 (NASB) “And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.” And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.” Ras Robinson
July 13, 2012. I have designed and constructed your body to heal itself. If you knew what is going on inside you right now, you would be amazed. Listen to Me. I am giving you signals of what and what not to do. You have gone the other way of what I have said. Many of the instructions of what to do are in My word. You have read them before but they didn’t sink in. Now is the time to read again about worry, anger, fear, cursing, jealousy, judgement, forgiveness. It is all there. You have had enough sermons to change you, but you have to apply what you read and hear.
Psalms 109:17-18 (NASB) “He also loved cursing, so it came to him; And he did not delight in blessing, so it was far from him. But he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, And it entered into his body like water And like oil into his bones.” Bev Robinson
July 13, 2012. Depression has become a celebrated catchphrase in our world. Media and society have dictated the causes and effects of this awful disease. Drug companies are making millions of dollars off of this much publicized disorder. Things like this should not be received within our realm. Yet, this is another ploy of Satan to cast people into despair and bring chaos. The Lord says, “Receive who I say you are and walk out the Spirit filled life! You are healed and you are whole! Embrace My hope! I came to bring good news. Receive it! You are not defeated; you are victorious! You are not depressed; you are exalted above with Me!”
Luke 4:18-19 (NIV) “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Kevin Robinson
July 12, 2012. Adoption is becoming more and more common across the world. Church families are taking advantage of the opportunities to adopt children for a host of reasons. Sometimes those who are adopted must be introduced to a new way of living. It becomes a gateway to speak good, wholesome and instructive words of life. Bev and I have been on an imperfect quest to create our world at home through God’s word being spoken in creative ways. We have seen our family change in significant ways through good words combined with intentional good deeds. We have an adopted granddaughter and she has changed our whole family by the gifts and talents she has brought. We refuse to think of her in any way except as totally connected by the blood of Jesus to our hearts forever.
Proverbs 12:14 (NASB) “A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, and the deeds of a man’s hands will return to him.” Ras Robinson
July 12, 2012. I put you where you are…the family…the job…the church…the position. You are there because of Me. Some of the circumstances are of your own making and some because of what others have done. I chose you before the foundation of the world to be in My family. There are things you face each day which are challenges. At times they are big and at times they are small. But are there because of My plan for your life, to teach you, to give you an opportunity to show you that I AM all wisdom and all power and you have it all. You are light and salt, and also an overcomer.
Matthew 5:14-16 (MSG) “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand-shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.” Bev Robinson
July 12, 2012. There isn’t one who didn’t or doesn’t want to be successful in life. Achievement is what we sought in school, extracurricular activities, career, family, or even church. The ladder toward success is what most people have pursued. Recognition, awards, money, etc., is what we desired . What price did we pay for the accomplishments though? Who did we hurt along the way? Was victory worth all the cost? The Lord says, “I have paid the ultimate price for your ultimate success in life. All of your wants and desires can be found right here within Me. Let Me fulfill the emptiness within you that always keeps you wanting more and more.”
Matthew 6:30-33 (MSG) “If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers-most of which are never even seen-don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.” Kevin Robinson
July 11, 2012. How are your foundations? To your utter amazement, you are discovering that when you were not looking, the little foxes were gnawing at your vines, spoiling your grapes. They come in after dark to avoid detection. These little foxes were conferring among themselves, gaining strategy. You were convinced that your vineyard was healthy and safe from predators. Now you find that the foxes, the little foxes have been working out of sight, destroying the foundations (vines). You say, “Lord, what can I do?” And the Lord says, “Shine the light of Jesus on your vineyard. Shout and sing. Testify of My goodness. For in so doing, you will be setting traps and building impenetrable fences. Turn this on the head of the enemy! For a season, be diligent nightly. Trust steadfastly in Me.”
Psalm 11:3 (NLT) “The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?”Song of Songs 2:15 (NASB) “Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our vineyards are in blossom.” Ras Robinson
July 11, 2012. An error was made in judgement. Not a big error but nevertheless enough that put you back. Do not fret over this this, but begin again. Go from where you are and before you know it you will be ahead of where you were before the error was made. No one knows the error so don’t speak about it. Speaking about it will slow down your progress . Speak only to Me, and tell Me thoroughly what happened. Then get your mind and thoughts off the error. If you just go straight ahead from where you are now you will be back on track quickly. You will get back by going straight ahead.
Proverbs 4:26 (AMP) “Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright.” Bev Robinson
July 11, 2012. To have the heart of a child again would make life so much easier. When we were children, the majority of life was fun. We didn’t worry about where to sleep. We weren’t concerned so much with what we were going to eat. Our minds didn’t ponder the thought of not having shelter from the sun, wind, rain or cold. We had no anxiety of what we would wear inside our home, or even outside. Most of us knew deep down inside that we would be taken care of. The Lord says, “Don’t worry, be happy. Give all of your cares to Me. Trust Me and this Father’s heart of Mine.”
Matthew 18:3-5 (MSG) “For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, “I’m telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you’re not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God’s kingdom. What’s more, when you receive the childlike on my account, it’s the same as receiving me.” Kevin Robinson
July 10, 2012. You once considered yourself to be ordinary. You, without really knowing it, were poor and disadvantaged. And then, for His own reasons, God chose and called you to Himself. You did not realize the transaction that brought you to God was ordained and orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. You were like “nothing” compared to others of your peers in the world at that time. But you were destined to experience the presence of God in Jesus Christ. You did not deserve the poured out grace. You still do not. And yet God has poured out breakthrough wisdom upon you. Wisdom from God though the gift of Christ in you became part of you the same as righteousness, holiness and redemption. Your status of ordinary has now become supernaturally extraordinary.
1 Corinthians 1:28-31 (GW) “God chose what the world considers ordinary and what it despises-what it considers to be nothing-in order to destroy what it considers to be something. As a result, no one can brag in God’s presence. You are partners with Christ Jesus because of God. Jesus has become our wisdom sent from God, our righteousness, our holiness, and our ransom from sin. As Scripture says, “Whoever brags must brag about what the Lord has done.” Ras Robinson
July 10, 2012. Seldom does an encounter with someone other than Jesus change your life but I had such an encounter years ago with Norman Grubb. He was head of a British worldwide mission, a prolific author and father in the faith to many. It was a divine encounter. I was waiting for Ras when Norman sat down on a bench with me. I asked him further questions about the lecture he had just given. He explained how to let the supernatural Christ within come forth naturally. What he said went deep in my spirit. The result was immediate and life changing. Need a faith boost? “Begin reading Norman Grubb’s out of print books.”
Hebrews 11:2 (AMP) “For by [faith- trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.” Bev Robinson
July 10, 2012. There are reoccurring road signs here in Texas. One sign reads, “SHARE THE ROAD”. It usually has the symbol of either a motorcycle or bicycle underneath. Truth be told, it needs to apply to everyone everywhere, not just on the roads. The Lord says, “Pay attention to your surroundings. Have a keen eye and be willing to yield to people around you. Whether it is some sort of cycle or a bystander, share the road. Defer to one another. Give others plenty of room to move about without fear of being run over by your words, actions or motor vehicle.”
Hebrews 13:16 (MSG) “Make sure you don’t take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship-a different kind of “sacrifice”-that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets.” Kevin Robinson
July 9, 2012. Have you become restless and distracted? You were flying so high with the wind at your back. Then you began to hear from within yourself voices reminding you about the sins of your youth. After a while, your soul began to be sorrowful. Confession of those sins and asking forgiveness brought relief for a moment. I say unto you, “My faith is sufficient for you to overcome and win this battle. Breathe deeply and fully drink of my grace. It will bring peace, forgiveness and confidence again. Restlessness and distractedness will fade away. Come up and out of the trough and mount the wave. Let us surf together with laughter and joy unspeakable.”
Psalm 55:1-3 (NASB) “Give ear to my prayer, O God; and do not hide Yourself from my supplication. Give heed to me and answer me; I am restless in my complaint and am surely distracted, because of the voice of the enemy, because of the pressure of the wicked; for they bring down trouble upon me and in anger they bear a grudge against me. Ras Robinson
July 9, 2012. Frustration has captured you. The problem makes your head ache and causes much anxiety. The problem is there but also the reaction to the problem is there. You want the problem to go away but thus far it hasn’t . You have expressed yourself in what you know as truth. You have talked with Me about it. There is nothing further you can do about the situation except continue praying, and you are doing that. Now leave it with Me. Show compassion and help bear the burden, but bring the burden to Me. Don’t carry it yourself. Your enemy would like to make everyone involved miserable. Blame is his game. Don’t play.
Ephesians 6:16-18 (NLT) “In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers.” Bev Robinson
July 9, 2012. Pride is keeping you from receiving some help for yourself. You are quick to offer assistance to others in their time of need. Yet, you are unwilling to humble yourself and ask for help in regard to things piling up where you are. Speak to others about the pressing needs you have. In doing so, be willing to receive the help they offer you. You are not the only one who does things with care and concern. In fact, others may have much more knowledge than you about your need and thus lighten your load considerably. Do not let selfish pride keep you overwhelmed, discouraged and entangled any longer. Repent.
1 John 2:16 (NASB) “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.”
James 4:6 (NASB) “But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Kevin Robinson
July 8, 2012. Be on the alert to share and teach those I bring before you. Listen for the voice of My Spirit and watch as He leads you to those in need of the Gospel. Never make the mistake of assuming that those you meet already know the good news of Jesus. You can depend on Me to bring along your path those who are openly or quietly hungry for Me. Ask simple questions to open the door of their hearts to you. I will be walking with you every step of the way. Together we will spread the net for casting. Trusting in Me and being obedient will assure you of a large catch. There are more “Ethiopians” out there waiting for you, just as one was waiting for Philip.
Acts 8:29-31 (NASB) “Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.” Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.” Ras Robinson
July 8, 2012. You are weighing something in the balance. Should you or should you not? This is something good and not something bad, but you don’t know if it is the right thing or the right time. Don’t stop to listen for the…why, when, or where? Keep on going with the ideas which you first thought . I will reveal the when and where as you go, before it is time to actually do this. Don’t think too much about the details or you will begin thinking these ideas are not good, and talk yourself out of it. Thinking too much can cause procrastination eventually resulting in paralysis. Begin and I will speak specific instructions.
Luke 9:61-62 (MSG) “Then another said, “I’m ready to follow you, Master, but first excuse me while I get things straightened out at home.” Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” Bev Robinson
July 8, 2012. As you know, Satan is determined to derail you and get you off track. I say unto you, push through. Sound the alarm. Quickly let your brothers and sisters in Christ know of the demonic attack upon your life. They will pray. Satan relentlessly attempts to thwart and bring disruption of your walk with Me. Keep yourself solidly on My track when times are good and when they are not. I have given to you now a heightened awareness of Satan’s plan for calamity. Don’t panic. You are more than an overcomer through Me. Satan is relentless with lies because he is already defeated. Be bold when facing attacks.
Joshua 10:25 (NKJV) “Then Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”
2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV) “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Kevin Robinson
July 7, 2012. A season of repentance is upon us. There is a stirring in the spirit of man right now to get right and clear with God. Humble yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to bring to your memory sins of the past and present. Do not give the devil any opportunity to load you up with guilt. Jesus has granted freedom and not guilt. Never carry around a burden of guilt for wrongs you have done. Confess them and claim your forgiveness so as to walk in the freedom Christ has brought to you. That freedom comes because of His grace and mercy. It is a denial of His death on the cross to carry the guilt one more day. Embrace full repentance and practice your freedom in Christ.
Acts 11:17-18 (NASB) “Therefore if God gave to them the same gift as He gave to us also after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?” When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.” Ras Robinson
July 7, 2012. The most important thing to keep in your mind is how much I love you. When you really know that truth, everything else begins to fall into place. You love Me. You love yourself and you love others. You respond to circumstances completely different. I am God and can do anything I want, and what I want is for you to know My love. My love forgives, guides, protects, corrects, heals, blesses and so much more. It provides all you need to live. Call to Me. I will never turn you away. I know all about you and care for you more than your mind can conceive. I love you.
Romans 8:38-39 (NASB) “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Bev Robinson
July 7, 2012. You have been sanctified. You have been given My authorized grace to live on a higher plane. You have not been given freedom to do as you please. I have made you holy! The grace you have been given has liberated you from the heavy yokes of slavery. My grace provides autonomy from those things which clouded your mind and corrupted your thought patterns. The independence given by Me, freed you from oppressive and entangling bondage. I have established within you the capacity to walk uprightly with social and moral character. You have been made holy as I AM holy! Uphold within yourself the standards of sanctification which I have established.
John 17:18-19 (NKJV) “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.” Kevin Robinson
July 6, 2012. During an evening picnic with our family, our pastors shared how, earlier that same afternoon, they discovered a family being evicted from their house. The bank had arranged for all their house contents to be dumped on the front lawn. Our pastors were excited to tell us of their good deed in helping the family in their crisis. They gave all the credit to the Lord and then encouraged all of us to be alert for opportunities to help others in need. The Lord says, “Be ready to serve and help in the ways and means available to you. In so doing, you create blessings back upon yourself. Serve, but without judging others who do not help in the same way as you. Beloved, love one another and your neighbor also.”
Matthew 6:1-3 (MSG) “Be especially careful when you are trying to be good so that you don’t make a performance out of it. It might be good theater, but the God who made you won’t be applauding. When you do something for someone else, don’t call attention to yourself. When you help someone out, don’t think about how it looks.” Ras Robinson
July 6, 2012. A new adventure is headed your way. I say adventure because it is best for you to keep this in the adventure realm rather than the task, (a job to be done) realm. If you keep it adventuresome and pleasant this will go so much easier. Time will seem to fly by and you will have done what you have desired and what I have spoken before you know it. You will need to keep on track, My track. Make a commitment right now to walk in pinpoint obedience. You don’t have to know everything about this adventure up front. Just trust Me as you go and I will unfold it.
Psalms 37:3-5 (NASB) “Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.” Bev Robinson
July 6, 2012. Earnestly seek My face to ascertain whether the contemplations in your heart have been established from your flesh, or if they have built upon Me and My word. What have I birthed within you? Have you received a form of revelation that has given you a greater level of excited expectancy? Take time to write down those thoughts. I know you have had considerable consideration of these matters. Nothing is too small, neither is anything too big for Me to orchestrate. Release unto Me these ideas and allow Me and My will to be accomplished. I want nothing but the best for you ! Your supernatural creativity never ceases to amaze Me.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (MSG) “And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming-it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.” Kevin Robinson
July 5, 2012. Hearing God is the center point of your freedom in Christ. Do you remember when sin was dictating your thoughts and activities? All of that is in the past now for you. Now you have come to Christ and He has set you free, never to be enslaved again. Isn’t that wonderful beyond words?! Your ticket to a new life has been purchased. Begin again each moment as the new being you have become. Tune your ears heavenward. I am always speaking to you. My ways are not fully your ways yet . Nor are my words fully flowing through you yet. But the greatness of Me in you is waiting excitedly to burst forth moment by moment. Come ride with Me on the winds of glory.
Romans 6:22 (MSG) “But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way!” Ras Robinson
July 5, 2012. There is a property in chemistry called sublimation, whereby a substance goes from a gas to a solid or a solid to a gas without going through the intermediate stage of a liquid. Sublimate . Pass from the ridiculous to the sublime. Be joyful in the face of your circumstances. My Spirit has made provision for you to walk above your circumstances…even in joy by His gifts and through His power. He gives peace, joy and self-control in the midst of your difficulties. You have the choice of fear or faith. Think about it. The circumstances don’t have to change, but your thoughts and attitudes can change. Take thoughts captive through obedience.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (AMP) “[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” Bev Robinson
July 5, 2012. Humble yourselves and pray. Join in one accord with one another and pray to Me in regard to the current weather patterns plaguing the United States. Pray in faith believing for instant relief from the high pressure system which has settled across this land. Make an earnest appeal to Me for freedom and relief in the heavens. I caused the earth to stand still through the prayers of a mighty man. Have confidence in Me and see My glory reign down upon your land. Watch and see. Behold, I am God of all creation. Pray without ceasing. Relief is on the way. Have a spirit of expectancy within yourselves.
Joshua 10:12-13 (NASB) “Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “O sun, stand still at Gibeon, and O moon in the valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.”
1 Peter 3:12 (NASB) “For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer…” Kevin Robinson
July 4, 2012. People become slaves to that which dominates them. It is a great mystery of mankind. It makes no sense. Poverty is like that. A victim endures it, is restrained by it, held captive but sometimes refuses to be free from it. Spouses become enslaved to harassing and mistreating their mates. It is awful, horrible and despicable, but the perpetrating mate cannot stop. They become enslaved and will not take steps to break the bondage. But then one day you read in God’s word, “It was for freedom that Christ set us free.” Then you see that the Holy Spirit gives the key to unlock the shackles: “Stand firm and never again submit to the yoke of slavery. Decree and proclaim your freedom today.”
Galatians 5:1-2 (TLB) “So Christ has made us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get all tied up again in the chains of slavery to Jewish laws and ceremonies . Listen to me, for this is serious: if you are counting on circumcision and keeping the Jewish laws to make you right with God, then Christ cannot save you.” Ras Robinson
July 4, 2012. I have put within you a zest for life. There were circumstances before you to overcome and you did it. They were there, not of your own making, but nevertheless they were there. I have watched you and led you at times when you had no idea I was anywhere much less anywhere close. You bring Me pleasure and I delight in you. But you say, “There are some things I do which are wrong.” Yes I know that, but I know you and you will eventually do whatever it takes to remove those things from your life and surroundings. I love you. Accept My love and enjoy My presence.
Psalms 41:11 (AMP) “By this I know that You favor and delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.” Bev Robinson
July 4, 2012. You know there is more to the Christian walk, yet you are unable to perceive with your natural eyes because of religion and tradition. Unless you are willing to alter your course, you will never know if change is possible . Many people are content with the same old routine over and over again. They have lulled themselves to sleep and continue in a state of slumber and stupor to this day. The Lord says, “Wake up! Rise up! Move forward! Respond to Holy Spirit’s promptings. Quicken your heart to exchange your passive standard of living to My Spirit led lifestyle of repentance . Change begins with Me. Renew your heart and mind.”
Psalm 51:10-12 (NIV) “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Kevin Robinson
July 3, 2012. Don’t lose your grip on love and loyalty. In so doing, you will find yourself living well in My eyes and in the eyes of the people. You are earning a reputation of living above and beyond the ordinary. My hand of grace brought you into My Kingdom and it will sustain you through eternity. By grace you have been blessed and not that of yourself alone. I love to hear you tell people about how I have, not only blessed you, but have brought you from scarcity to abundance. You always praise Me as your source, taking care never to boast in what you have achieved or possess. These are good character qualities for you to pass on to others. Allow them to see the real Jesus in you.
Proverbs 3:3-4 (MSG) “Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.” Ras Robinson
July 3, 2012. You are walking in the blessings of living faith. I watch you keeping your thoughts captive and pure by trusting Me, and pushing away from doubt and unbelief. I have made you for faith and have given you examples over and over in Scripture. You also have examples of victories in your own life. I designed you for faith. That is the way you started with Me. You turned your heart and life totally believing Me and my word. You understood almost nothing of Me and My ways and yet took the plunge. Keep on walking as you mature, but never lose your childlikeness. Fully trust in Me.
Colossians 2:6-7 (NASB) “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.” Bev Robinson
July 3, 2012. Seize the day. Take advantage of every opportunity Holy Spirit provides to build up, cheer up, and stir up one another to love and good deeds. As followers of Jesus Christ, recognize and cheer on fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Open your mouth and speak encouraging words of peace, love and joy to one another. We are all on the same team. Speak positively. Boost each other’s confidence with truth of who and whose they are. Identify and pinpoint godly characteristics and qualities within each other. Don’t withhold good from whom good is due. Assure others of My God given qualities which I have placed within them. Seize the moment.
Hebrews 3:13 (NASB) “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Kevin Robinson
July 2, 2012. My children are My family. You notice that family was part of My design for mankind from the beginning. It was necessary for Adam not to be alone, so I took from him and created Eve . Since then, I have always depended upon My families to propagate the earth through multiplying with each other. Families are to have dominion over all things in the earth. The family is my primal gift to mankind for accomplishing My purposes. Do everything you can to strengthen and bless your own family and the families of others. Be sure to thank Me and speak My blessings over each family member. I have given you power to create through your family. Be fruitful and multiply families.
John 2:11-12 (NASB). “This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him. After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples; and they stayed there a few days.” Ras Robinson
July 2, 2012. I enjoy putting jigsaw puzzles together by fitting their different shapes and colors into a complete picture. I have to look intently to see what fits where. When completed and all fits and blends together it shows an overall good picture. The Lord says, “You are looking intently at something to see if it fits and this is good, because it will need to fit and blend in with the rest of what I have going on in your life. But you also need to back off and see the whole picture. What is going on right now is good, but look at it from afar… from My point of view.”
Psalms 85:11 (AMP) “Truth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.” Bev Robinson
July 2, 2012. Waiting for perfect timing isn’t the easiest of issues to grasp. Obtaining the skillset of timing is essential in determining whether a desired outcome is to be successful or not. T he Lord says, “Synchronize your timing with Mine. My timing is perfect and complete. Bring into line your whole mindset to My Lordship. Listen intently to Me. Train yourself to have pinpoint obedience to what I say. Wait for Me. I will give you exact commands on what your next steps are to be. I did only what My Father gave me instruction to do. Within you, is My heart which still has the capacity to move perfectly as I do.”
Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV) “Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Kevin Robinson
July 1, 2012. A delightful and blessed spiritual son of mine and I were talking yesterday about his church and family. I told him how proud I am to have been chosen by God to select him for the pastor of his church. He has exhibited righteousness, grace and much love for his sheep all these years. The church is growing and flourishing. He happened to ask about and sent his love to my biological son who writes daily with his mother and me. He paid Kevin some profound compliments about the way Kevin hears God and writes about what God says to all of us. Now I can easily imagine how my Heavenly Father must feel when He sees His spiritual sons and daughters excelling in His goodness. Thank you Dad.
Proverbs 1:8-10 (NASB) “Hear, my son, your father’s instruction And do not forsake your mother’s teaching; Indeed, they are a graceful wreath to your head And ornaments about your neck. My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent.” Ras Robinson
July 1, 2012. I designed your body to heal itself . When there is sickness or injury, your body suddenly comes to attention and specific healthy parts rush to aid the sick or hurt parts. I have designed you to make melody in your heart to Me. This helps keep you healthy in body, soul and spirit. Some things are off center in relationships. My design is to bring wholeness. All will not happen as you now think. Take thoughts captive to think on good things and move yourself into the arena of thanksgiving. For this reason surrender all over to Me I will lead you. Listen and believe. Move into My joyful peace.
Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT) “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me-everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Bev Robinson
July 1, 2012. Keep yourself hydrated with the water of My word. The water found in My word is essential to your spiritual, physical, and psychological well-being. My word is the critical element you cannot live without. Keep My word with you wherever you go. Pick it up and use it regularly. Establish the daily discipline of washing yourself over and over with My life-giving word . It’s health to your soul and healing to your bones. Allow the water, which I amply supply, to fill you up. So much so that you have an abundant overflow of invigorating goodness for yourself and for those you encounter. Be refreshed again, and again, and again with Me.
Matthew 5:6 (NASB) “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Kevin Robinson
