What the Lord is Saying Today – June 2012
June 29, 2012. Our fireplace is such a blessing in the winters. Today I removed huge amounts of ashes from that fireplace, making ready for Bev to decorate inside the fireplace for summer. On the news, I saw where TSA authorities at an airport stopped a young passenger and confiscated a small container of his grandfather’s ashes, plundering through them and spilling them on the floor. The boy was appalled. There is the metaphoric saying, ashes to ashes and dust to dust from early Anglican funerals denoting the simple finality of death. That boy’s grandfather was memorialized by those ashes. I thought of my family, friends and people of our ministry who have gone before. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust. Glory to God for a life well lived and remembered.
1 Corinthians 15:55 (KJV) “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” Ras Robinson
June 29, 2012. I have kept a journal much of my life, writing in it almost daily. When I look back over what I have written it is amazing that the things which were once such looming problems are problems no more. “The challenge before you now is great, but remember how I have led you in the past. Trust Me fully. Keep your mind in the realm of knowing that I will answer. When it drifts draw it back to Me. I will show you what to do when you keep trusting in Me and following My lead. Some things require action and others all the action you need to take is prayer. Follow Me.
Proverbs 3:5-8 (MSG) “Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!” Bev Robinson
June 29, 2012. Never forget where your help comes from! When you feel you are all alone, never forget where your help comes from! When you have come to the point of utter despair and feel your whole world has caved in, never forget where your help comes from! When you are down to your last cent and see no provision in sight, never forget where your help comes from! When sickness and infirmity keep knocking at your door and on the door of your loved ones, never forget where your help comes from! When the smallest of everyday affairs continue to overwhelm your understanding, never forget where your help comes from!
Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV) “I lift up my eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Kevin Robinson
June 28, 2012. One thing I like about you is that you are proud to be My child. Not once have I noticed you trying to be Me. My favor flows freely toward you and your family. Your ministry has a front row seat in My Kingdom. You have introduced so many to My Kingdom and that makes Me very happy with you. Is it any wonder then that I open doors of ministry for you? You are My ambassador in this world and beyond to the heavenlies. Your heritage is very great indeed. You and yours will be carried about with great care and honor. I have appointed Myself to be your Good Shepherd for the rest of your life.
Psalm 28:8-9 (MSG) “GOD is all strength for his people, ample refuge for his chosen leader; save your people and bless your heritage. Care for them; carry them like a good shepherd. “ Ras Robinson
June 28, 2012. In Caroline Leaf’s book Who Switched Off My Brain, she writes, “…hostility, rage and anger are at the top of the lists of toxic emotions that can produce serious mental and physical illness. Other related emotions such as frustration, anxiety and a lack of self- worth are not much lower on the list.” The Lord says, “Unload your cares to Me, those toxic thoughts and emotions you have about what is going on. Your body is not made to continually bear these. Sing Me praise songs and fill your mind with thoughts of thanks. I am here to give you wisdom in handling challenges. Trust all will work for good.”
Romans 8:27-28 (NASB) “and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Bev Robinson
June 28, 2012. How much do we withhold from loved ones? Only you and God know the real answer. How can we stay more attentive? We seem to get wrapped-up or consumed with our so called busy affairs. Even Jesus said to Simon Peter in the garden, “Could you not keep watch for one hour?” I once heard someone use the word “BUSY” as an acronym. Burdened Under Satan’s Yoke. The Lord says, “Don’t withhold good from those you care about. Take time. Be more assertive. Provide better devotion to the spiritual needs of those you serve under or have care over. Be about doing My love. Stay focused and seek Me for wisdom.”
Matthew 7:9-12 (NIV) “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Kevin Robinson
June 27, 2012. A new day has dawned! The light of day refreshes and renews from the dark of night. You know what it means to be in darkness spiritually before Christ changed you forever. You have become a new creation, someone priceless and pleasing to Me. So it is with you My love, you precious one. You are playing and running in the light of a new day now. Isn’t it fun! This is a course set for you to travel for the rest of your life. You have believed that this kind of light of day is only intended for brief interludes. Not so. Welcome to My Kingdom life. I bid you come and walk with Me.
Ecclesiastes 11:7 (MSG) “Oh, how sweet the light of day, and how wonderful to live in the sunshine!” Ras Robinson
June 27, 2012. Prepare for a good day which is on its way. Many things you have prayed for are coming together. I always act in the fullness of time. Many of My children don’t realize this and cause themselves unnecessary anxiety. Be at peace and don’t let your emotions run your life. Let Me run your life. If you will keep your thoughts on Me and My goodness, life will be so much more pleasant for you. Anxiety is not good for your body or your soul. You have an opportunity with each thought to rein it in and get it focused on My grace and goodness. Don’t waste time on anything else.
Ephesians 1:9-10 (NASB) “He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him.” Bev Robinson
June 27, 2012. Do you ever have words scroll across the screen of your brain that you have no earthly idea what they mean? The word: burgeon, just rolled across my brain. I’ve heard the word before but didn’t know its meaning. By definition it means to produce new growth and flourish or develop rapidly. This word also comes at a time of year when in the natural, Texas has begun to hit triple-digit temperatures over 100 degrees. The Lord says, “Regardless of what obstacles come against you in the natural. I want to prosper you and see you swell and develop when all else becomes parched and barren. Receive with open arms My abundant proliferation.
2 Corinthians 5:18 (MSG) “Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other.” Kevin Robinson
June 26, 2012. You can be sure that tumultuous times are coming. Clouds are gathering for the forecasted storms. The climatic disturbances are signs to take cover in the Lord. This cover is the prayer commitment you are making. Your nation will be humbled to its knees because of unrighteousness. One person can turn the tide for their nation in prayer. There will be many attempts at salvation through the wit and wonder of man, but none of that will work. I say unto you, gather those who are willing and cry out to Me from your heart of hearts. Pray in the Spirit, making daily opportunity for it. In this way, you can intercede night and day worldwide. All your hope is in Me.
Isaiah 26:2-4 (NASB) “Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, the one that remains faithful. The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.” Ras Robinson
June 26, 2012. Don’t keep focusing on the bad things others have done. If you continue making judgements the same thing will turn and come back on you. You can’t change another person . You can only make changes in yourself. What you can do is forgive, bless and not curse, and turn this all over to Me. Sure it is okay to express yourself. If you will do it without being controlled by your hurt emotions you will be heard. Give all your hurt emotions to Me and then express yourself calmly at the right time. I will show you when. You will eventually see changes in everyone, if you will follow My ways.
Matthew 7:1-3 (MSG) “Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults-unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor’s face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own.” Bev Robinson
June 26, 2012. Stop giving excuses. Everybody and their dog can make defenses for inappropriate behavior. It’s time to own up and be an adult. The foolish actions need to come to a complete stop immediately. At first, you may have thought they were a bit funny or humorous. You have gone much too far with your inappropriate activities and have even begun to justify the conduct you have been doing. It’s somewhat like the child who says the dog ate the homework. People are losing their trust in you. And you are at greater risk of losing much more than that, if you do not stop your deeds.
Titus 2:11-14 (NIV) “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” Kevin Robinson
June 25, 2012. The nations are calling. Some are crying desperately for help. Others see fields and more fields of white harvest ripe for harvesting. Strong calls came first from Peru (some gave $5,000 at a time and thousands were saved), then the Philippines (many are being saved annually). Kenya and India are repeatedly calling. Honestly, I do not handle this well because my faith is in a steep learning and surrendering curve. So I pray and then weep a lot. Most of the time, I prefer not to even talk about it. You see, God gave me a magnificent gift of evangelism many years ago. Since then, I have seen thousands saved and have started many discipleship programs. Pray with me about a “Harvest Chest” (Someone has already given $700) as a storehouse base with faithful partners. Ask God about throwing your weight behind this with me. All I know is, God gave me the following calling He gave first to Jesus. He has given it to me now many times. Pray.
Psalm 2:7-9 (NASB) “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'” Ras Robinson
June 25, 2012. In the early 1970’s I prayed to be filled with God’s Spirit. Later I began having chest pains and went for a complete physical. I was diagnosed with severe heart disease. One way I was preparing for my hospital stay was with a thorough house cleaning and I blacked out. I awoke a changed person. Then the doctor could find no evidence of heart disease. My new lease on life caused me to fall in love with God’s word. I began applying his word daily. I dreamed about this vividly last night, and asked God why . He answered, “I am starting a spiritual wave impacting other’s lives the way I changed your life.”
Ephesians 5:15-18 (NLT) “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Bev Robinson
June 25, 2012. I want you to move with confidence. Know that it’s My power within you, that enables you to have the self-assurance you earnestly desire. You have what it takes to be successful in whatever you apply yourself toward. Believe in yourself. Just like you put your belief structure in Me when you accepted Me as Savior. Do not discount who I have made you to be. Embrace the poise I placed within your mind, will and emotions. Be a world changer. When fear raises its ugly head, laugh and move forward with the composure I put within your heart. I am yours and you are mine. Believe what I am saying.
2 Corinthians 3:4(NASB) “Such confidence we have through Christ toward God.” Kevin Robinson
June 24, 2012. Grace upon grace. The Apostle John introduces Jesus with a treatise on the grace which Jesus freely gives to all who believe. What does “grace upon grace” mean? It means that you are to be consumed by grace and filled with it. It is like a beautiful rainbow trout swimming in a little mountain stream. The trout is made possible by the rushing water and it is sustained and constantly buoyed by it. It comes in an endless supply. No dread of drying up. Such is the grace according to John. He is all inclusive. If you are a believer, you are being filled and carried about by the grace Jesus supplies, endlessly.
John 1:16 (NASB) “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.” Ras Robinson
June 24, 2012. Things are not as bad as you thought. There’s relief in knowing this, but the problem is not completely resolved, so don’t dismiss it . Prayer needs to remain top priority. Deep in your spirit you know this is the reason things are not as bad as they could be. Your initial request of Me about this was for wisdom and favor, and I gave it. You know deep down that I can handle this because other things I have handled and led you in have worked out for the best. After some fearful thoughts you gave this all to Me, and I am working it out. Watch and see.
Romans 8:27-29 (NLT) “And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.” Bev Robinson
June 24, 2012. Testify, testify, testify! I love to hear your testimonies of thanksgiving and praise of Me. Stay current with the mighty wonders I have done for you. My Word is filled with story after story of My splendor, majesty, deliverance, fury, judgement, grace, salvation, and mercy upon mankind. The writers of My Word spoke through their written words, the stories which have given millions of people guidance for millenniums. Take the time to write down the tales of My goodness to you. Share with others the grace I have shown you. Remember the answers to prayers that I have accomplished. Listen to Me and do what I say. You will be encouraged.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” Kevin Robinson
June 23, 2012. The Lord says, “Examine yourself inside and out. This is a good time to get some things right. Only Jesus is perfect but you can get so close to Him. Let Me be your guide in this examination. Any debris you have left from sin is going to pollute your soul. You do not want that . We want your soul to be as clean and stay as clean as the fresh driven snow. Think of yourself as being on a quest to become and stay as clean as a falling snowflake. Hard to imagine, isn’t it! Now let us begin. Examine your present and past as with an electron microscope. Stop, look and listen at each particle of debris. Confess each as sin. Ask My forgiveness and then forgive others as you have been forgiven. All is well with your spirit and now it is also well with your soul. I have said it.”
Matthew 23:25-26 (NASB) “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also. “ Ras Robinson
June 23, 2012. God promised Abram he was going to bless him with descendants more than the stars in the sky. It was a long time coming and Abram and Sari took the matter into their own hands. This has caused problems that last on into this present time. But that didn’t stop God’s promise; He continued telling Abram He would bless him. “Do not give up on My promise to you. Of course you can question Me about it. Lay the promise before Me and see if you added anything to it. I love the dialogue and I will tell you again if you heard Me. I do not lie. It will happen.
Numbers 23:19 (NASB) “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Bev Robinson
June 23, 2012. In many western movies you’ll see a poster which states “Wanted: Dead or Alive.” This is usually in reference to an alleged gun-slinging cowboy, bank robber or cattle thief. Often a sheriff’s posse is rounded up to hunt down the outlaw. If the character is already dead before the posse arrives, the posse moves on. The Lord says, “In the big show, consider yourself dead to sin in your mortal body. In the spirit realm, Satan is in charge of the posse and he is in hot and heavy pursuit to hunt you down. When he finds you already dead, he will move on to someone who is still on the run.”
Romans 6:1-3, 11 (NKJV) “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?”, “Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Kevin Robinson
June 22, 2012. When beginning a new office job involving computers and the internet, you find yourself compiling a master list of “logins” and “passwords” necessary to do the job. About the time you think you have all of them, you find yourself needing yet another set. There are two foundational truths in place here. You could wait to start working on anything until you are sure you have all the codes you would ever need. Or, you could begin working on projects with the codes you have been given and then accumulate the remainder of the codes as you continued working. T he operating idea is to be productive while you are yet learning. The Lord says, “You will never know all My secrets. However, employ well the secrets I give you and be faithful until I reveal more.”
Deuteronomy 29:29 (NLT) “The LORD our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.” Ras Robinson
June 22, 2012. Being convicted of sin and convicted that you have judged another is not hard for you. This is good because sin and judging people can trip you up, keeping you from being all I have called you to be. But if you only walk in these convictions you will end up with a poor self- image. What I also want you to do is be convicted that the ruler of this world, the devil, has been judged and be convicted that you are standing righteous before Me. Your belief and acceptance of Jesus death, burial, resurrection and victory assures this. My child be as convicted of your righteousness as you are of your sinning.
John 16:7-11 (NASB) “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgement; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgement, because the ruler of this world has been judged.” Bev Robinson
June 22, 2012. In our church, we often speak of hearing angel’s joining our praises as we worship the Lord. I personally have heard supernatural shofars, flutes, piccolos, and various stringed instruments. We hear supernaturally and are in awe of God’s presence. We have tuned our natural ears to hear the supernatural and we have tuned our supernatural ears to hear the natural. The Lord says, “Don’t be fearful of the supernatural. Just because you cannot ascertain exactly how, when, where, or why you experience this at times. Embrace My sovereignty. Sharpen the senses I have given you so you can experience more of Me. I love to hear you acknowledge Me.
Luke 8:10 (AMP) ” He said to them, To you it has been given to [come progressively to] know (to recognize and understand more strongly and clearly) the mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that, [though] looking, they may not see; and hearing, they may not comprehend.” Kevin Robinson
June 21 2012. You are strong in the Lord whether you always feel like it or not. He is always with you because He is within you constantly being Himself. Every morning of your life He gives you joy of life to receive or not to receive. Make the choice now to greatly rejoice before Him. It will daily change your life for the better. You remember all the good things of the Lord. Who could be sad? Think of the times He has answered your prayers and requests of Him. Has He not healed? Has He not saved you? Has He not given you your heart’s desire? Meditate on these things and be glad. Spin and twirl before Him in worship from your heart.
Psalm 21:1-2 (NASB) “O LORD, in Your strength the king will be glad, and in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice! You have given him his heart’s desire, and You have not withheld the request of his lips.” Ras Robinson
June 21, 2012. It’s hurting you to watch someone who is hurting. They don’t know you are watching and you don’t want to make it any worse by them worrying about you hurting for them. All you can do is sit back, watch and pray. You wish you could do more. Don’t minimize what you are doing. Prayer is what they need, and they also need to know that you think they are handling what they are going through with strength and dignity. Prayer will help usher in good overcoming thoughts and maintain a hedge that will ward off the enemy from attacking with bad defeating thoughts. I know you are standing in the gap.
Ezekiel 22:30 (NLT) “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” Bev Robinson
June 21, 2012. A change of heart can be challenging. I can talk of repentance, but acquiring godly sorrow can be a whole different matter. My words of “I’m sorry,” roll so easily off my tongue. In reality, talk is cheap. I’ve tried again and again to change the wickedness within myself, but I keep returning to the same old patterns. Without condemnation the Lord says, “Turn and be at peace with the change which only I can sustain. Let your sorrow be accomplished without naivety. Find My rest in the stillness of My presence. Salvation comes in many forms. Familiarize yourself with the type of sorrow only I can deliver. Trust Me.
Isaiah 30:15 (NASB) “For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, “In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.”…
2 Corinthians 7:10 (NLT) ” For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.” Kevin Robinson
June 20, 2012. Is it possible to be confident with a feeling of adequacy as a Christian? It seems that a significant percentage of believing followers of Christ feel neither confident nor adequate. The blood of Jesus on the cross purchased many things for Christians, including a new and eternal covenant. This new covenant is not of the letter, as was the old covenant, but rather of the Spirit. It acknowledges that this new covenant brings life, not death. It ushers in the wonder of grace where mercy triumphs over judgement. Grace in gives to those who live by the new covenant. Those who live by the law die by the law. Be confident and know your adequacy in Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (NASB) “Such confidence we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”
James 2:13 (NASB) “For judgement will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgement.” Ras Robinson
June 20, 2012. Here it is again that down feeling. You tried to shake it off and it left for a while, but here it is again. You are in a fight, but don’t let the devil win. He is a defeated foe so he cannot ultimately win but he does put up a fight. He wants you down, discouraged and defeated. Don’t let that happen. You aren’t sure of the root of the feeling, but don’t stop to find out. Keep going. Do slow your pace down and I will reveal the root as you go. Think and plan ahead of where you are so you won’t be overwhelmed in what is coming up.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NASB) “Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.” Bev Robinson
June 20,2012. All of us have obligations which demand our undivided attention. I for one, can get overwhelmed at times because I have difficulty sorting through things which can pile up on me rather quickly. Though I try again and again, establishing order can be quite challenging. The Lord says, “Keep Me as the primary focus in your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Me at all times. Allow me to guide you through murky waters. Everyone encounters trials of differing degree’s at different times. Don’t lose heart with earthly obstacles and setbacks. Let Me bring peace to your troubling situations. Look intently into My face. Seek Me and let Me sustain you.”
Deuteronomy 26:17-19 (NASB) “You have today declared the Lord to be your God, and that you would walk in His ways and keep His statutes, His commandments and His ordinances, and listen to His voice. The Lord has today declared you to be His people, a treasured possession, as He promised you, and that you should keep all His commandments;and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, for praise, fame, and honor; and that you shall be a consecrated people to the Lord your God, as He has spoken.” Kevin Robinson
June 19, 2012. You have learned and are practising something very good and revolutionary. I have seen you over and over again pass up the opportunity to become angry. You know there is no reward in anger, only anxiety and anguish in the end of it. Those hurts that once fuelled your anger have become dissipated and without fuel for you anger. You found forgiveness heals wounds and hurts like nothing else. This is good. Another thing I have noticed is that more and more you are overlooking transgressions affecting you. I am so proud of you that you are growing in righteousness to the point not judging the wrongdoers but rather you are praying for and loving them.
Proverbs 19:11 (NASB) “A man’s discretion makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression.” Ras Robinson
June 19, 2012. A better attitude is going to make everything go better. Your moodiness makes even you feel bad. You can change your moodiness if you really want to… and you do really want to. The end result, if you don’t change is not going to be good because you’re down attitude is affecting many of those around you. Get your mind on the good of this situation. You have overlooked the good. There is plenty which is good. Yes you will have to look for it and then keep your mind focused there. Don’t let your mind drift back to the “what if’s.” Keep your mind focused. You are a reflection of Me.
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (NASB) “Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy” Bev Robinson
June 19, 2012. Today marks a significant day in the state of Texas . In 1865, in Galveston, an executive order was issued by Union General Gordon Granger from U.S. President Abraham Lincoln granting freedom to slaves. June tenth became a holiday commemorating the day on which African American slaves in Texas learned of the Emancipation Proclamation, which granted them freedom. The Lord says, “I have given you freedom from captivity. Celebrate each and every day the autonomy you have acquired. Shout it from the rooftops. Dance in the streets. This is a time for rejoicing. Join in the revelry and festivities. By Executive Order I have granted you freedom. Celebrate! I have set you free!”
John 8:36 (AMP) “So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.” Kevin Robinson
June 18, 2012. You are a marvelous creation of Mine. I made you just the way you are. There were no mistakes in your conception or birth. You came forth with a destiny and purpose already planned. I have always been proud of you. You were made in My image through and through. The things you sometimes strive to be, you already are inside yourself. Just let Me out to be Myself in and through you. Such will make you happier than anything the world could possibly offer you. I am your kindness, your blamelessness, your purity and good judgement. I am what you need and you already have Me. Let us begin again?
Psalm 18:25-26 (NASB) “With the kind You show Yourself kind; with the blameless You show Yourself blameless; with the pure You show Yourself pure, and with the crooked You show Yourself astute.” Ras Robinson
June 18, 2012. In the course of a year I have seen three people I know, demonstrate humility. I know two of them were determined they were right, I don’t know exactly all the processes they each went through in coming to the point of allowing others to observe their humility, but they have. Each grew enormously in the sight of those who knew. “Is there hurt in your life that has caused you to want to demand your own way or even hurt another? Has your mind begun to conceive what you will do? Have the fiery darts of the enemy pounded you. Turn and humble yourself and watch admiration for you grow.”
James 4:10 (NASB) “Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.” Bev Robinson
June 18, 2012. Allow Holy Spirit with His conviction of sin; guide you to being restored from a negative pattern you’ve been struggling with. Don’t allow selfish pride to prevent you from receiving victory over the apprehensions you have been facing. Acknowledge and admit your short-comings to Me. Through humility, you can receive liberty you desperately desire. Though your flesh is weak, I am willing and waiting to release you from your self-imposed captivity. Recognize the need for confessing your sin to a trusted friend. Let open communication be your friend. Harboring sin can keep you bound up and prevent you from breaking free from the entangling net Satan has laid out to entrap you.
James 5:16 (KJV) “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Kevin Robinson
June 17, 2012. Unity and love go hand in hand. If you know I love you and that you therefore can trust Me, you probably will have no problem being in unity with Me. If in unity as a result of love, you have the added power of Me in you as the source of the love. Such love and unity is designed to make the world go around as I intended it from the beginning. Invest in those you love through walking in more and more unity with them. Something supernatural takes place in such an atmosphere of unity, laced with love. The presence of the Lord is seen and manifested to the glory of God.
John 17:22-23 (NASB) “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” Ras Robinson
June 17, 2012. Keep pressing on. I know there have been obstacles to overcome. But I have seen you press through them. I know there has been some discouragement rise in your soul. But so far you have not let it stop you. This is good. This is very good because the breakthrough is very near. You will see and enter into one of the best times you have ever experienced. Perseverance is one of your best character qualities. This isn’t the first time I have seen this happen, and it will not be the last. Many watch and learn from your instructions. Keep on keeping on and goal after goal will be reached.
1 Timothy 4:16 (AMP) “Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you.” Bev Robinson
June 17, 2016. It seems the older I get the wiser I become. All my life I have looked to successful people with more experience than me on how to get things accomplished. I’ve found there is the easy way and the hard way to get something done. I don’t know about you, but I like the easy way. The Lord says, “Pay close attention to godly individuals which have more fruitful and effective know-how than you. This applies to every aspect of your life, whether spiritual, emotional, financial, or whatever the case may be. Heed their words of wisdom. Imitate their behavior. Though you are very unique, replicate their manner of accomplishing success.”
1 Corinthians 4:15-16 (NKLV) “For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Therefore I urge you, imitate me.” Kevin Robinson
June 16, 2012. Yesterday, I celebrated with my wife the double grace of 55 years of marriage to the most beautiful, loving and smartest woman in the world! The Lord salutes today, “You have earned your stripes. Not one of the strips came without pain or joy and sometimes both. You have experienced victories and defeats. But there you stand, strong, mighty and victorious. The significant leader who yesterday called you a shepherd of the anointing was really speaking for Me. Serving on the forefront, hacking your way through briers and brambles you cleared the way for others to follow. You are not fading away like an old general; you are basking in the joys of being somewhat exemplary. Five is the number of grace. Speak, demonstrate and radiate My double grace. Selah!
Song of Songs 2:14 (NASB) “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret place of the steep pathway, let me see your form, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your form is lovely.”
Isaiah 45:3 (NASB) “I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. Ras Robinson
June 16, 2012. Someone said something which hurt your feelings. You aren’t sure what to do about it. It wasn’t said to you directly but in an offhanded manner. You felt a bit of anger arise in your soul because you pride yourself in trying so hard in not doing what was said. Now think back over what you are thinking. Pride pops up doesn’t it? The first thing is to repent of pride. When you do that we will go from there. Continue asking Me to clear out every little bit of sin. When your heart is clear you can hear Me in what to do. Precious I know how to handle this.
1 John 1:8-10 (NASB) “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.” Bev Robinson
June 16, 2012. This spring in Texas has been like none I’ve experienced since we moved here thirty seven years ago. We’ve experienced the warmest spring temperatures on record, with rain, rain, and more rain. I’ve been awakened numerous times in the night to heavy rain, flashes of lightning and peals of thunder. I am a weather fanatic and love every moment. The Lord says, “In the midst of storms, hear My voice. Accredit all glory and honor to Me. I AM the Lord! I AM boundless . I AM magnificent. Know that I AM that I AM. I sit as Lord, distributing strength and peace. Fear not. I have come to reign!”
Psalm 29:1-11 (NASB) “Ascribe to the Lord, O sons of the mighty, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in holy array. The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; The God of glory thunders, the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic….. And in His temple everything says, “Glory!” The Lord sat as King at the flood; Yes, the Lord sits as King forever. T he Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.” Kevin Robinson
June 15, 2012. The power of agreement among wise and righteous people is a good thing, worthy of pursuit. n our marriage, our ministry and our church, we celebrate diversity but insist on unity. It has served us well these years. It is a good thing to consult with others who are also wise in the matter of your decisions. God has a plan and a purpose for everything. You can believe that His timing and rhythm are worth finding. The Lord says, “To have many counselors is a sign of strength not weakness. Stop courting failure, humble yourself and be willing to submit to what I may have to say though those counselors.”
Proverbs 15:22 (NASB) “Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed.” Ras Robinson
June 15, 2012. Get back on track. Get back in your groove. Clear away the clutter that has accumulated. You have allowed the changes that came to alter your course. You almost became someone you didn’t know. It felt really strange. This change is good. Adapt to the change. You have to make room for the change, but not to the point of forgetting who you basically are. Now get back to being who you really are, who I have made you to be. Your devotion and love for Me must always come first. That is who you are. Because I love you without reserve you love Me. Then everything else falls into place.
James 1:23-25 (NLT) “For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.” Bev Robinson
June 15, 2012. God has given us the power to see the unseen. Stated emphatically, GOD HAS GIVEN US THE POWER TO SEE THE UNSEEN. Ask God to reveal the hidden truths of this world. Our step of faith to receive Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior was the biggest step in seeing the unseen. Holy Spirit brought conviction upon our hearts. We had revelation knowledge and we were able to see like we had never seen before. The Lord says, “Ask Me to reveal the deeper things hidden as though they are. Though you cannot observe with natural eyes, I will give you insight, discernment, and understanding to out of sight matters.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-11 (NLT) “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.” Kevin Robinson
June 14, 2012. Cry out to Me and rejoice greatly before Me for My goodness to you. Join with Jesus in a holy dance before the Me . All things are of Me, through Me and to Me! Nothing exists of any consequence in this world. Raise today the white flag of surrender of everything you are, will ever be now or in the future. Accept My holy mark upon you as one I have chosen and approved for royal service to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Let the mark be visible in great humility, the mark of a servant to the King, even a cup bearer. Throw your pride to the curb, put it in the furrow and plow it under with the coming glorious days of harvest.
Job 34:28 (NLT) “They cause the poor to cry out, catching God’s attention. He hears the cries of the needy.” Ras Robinson
June 14, 2012. There is something you desire and you believe I gave the desire. You know it will benefit you and probably inspire others. Write down the reasons why you want this, because you forget why. You fill your mind with other things which you deem important and reaching this goal has constantly eluded you. This desire is important and so is the victory. If you can remember the “why,” victory is right around the corner. You forget that you have an enemy. The devil doesn’t want you to succeed. Of course he will bring temptations. But if you obey Me with pinpoint accuracy you will have the victory and the accompanying reasons.
Habakkuk 2:2 (NASB) “Then the Lord answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run.” Bev Robinson
June 14, 2012. Recently I saw a bumper sticker on a car which stated “just be nice” all written in lower case letters. What a concept. Here in the United States anger has escalated astronomically on the streets we travel. Unfortunately, people are quick to justify their behavior saying their anger was spawned because someone invaded their private space. The Lord says, “Live a lifestyle of kindness. Show forth compassion in the same fashion which I have shown you. Exhibit a respectable, pleasant, and enjoyable way of life before all. Be a standard bearer of acceptable social and moral character . Be about being nice to each person you encounter. Let everyone see Me in you.”
Colossians 3:12 (NLT) “Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” Kevin Robinson
June 13, 2012. Impossible dreams have been used by God to change the world throughout the history of mankind. Today, He wants to speak to you of things impossible. Perhaps He will speak to you of dreams and visions already received but stored away out of fear or dread of the cost to follow them. He may have given or will yet give you such dreams again. God wants to impact not only you but all the people of your present and future and He has chosen you as His instrument. Your life is important, every hour and minute you have left on this earth. The Lord says, “I have plans for you to bless you and make of you a fountain of blessings for others. Seek Me with all your heart with an attitude of total faith.”
Luke 18:27 (NASB) “But He said, ‘The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.'” Ras Robinson
June 13, 2012. The first time I heard of using God’s Word incorrectly was when someone used the illustration in teaching that we are to eat, drink and be merry. That word, if taken for one’s lifestyle, could be disastrous. “Someone has taken My Words out of context and has built a strong case in going the wrong direction with the wrong motive. This will bring a problem later down the road if you keep believing and acting in this way. Yes! My Word is to jump off the page for you, but it is to be in agreement with the rest of My Word. Surrender your word to Me with complete trust. I will lead.”
Psalms 119:159-160 (NASB) “Revive me, O Lord, according to Your lovingkindness. The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.” Bev Robinson
June 13, 2012. Will you relinquish your attempts to control the situations you’re in? Are you satisfied with the results thus far? Though it seems that you can handle the matters by yourself, have the efforts you’ve made produced favorable outcomes? Trust Me with how I handle things. My perspective is seen absolutely from the beginning to the end. Let go. Seriously, let go. Allow Me to govern your affairs. I really do know what I’m doing. Your best interests are what I have in My mind. You can continue down the path you are on alone or hand over the reins to Me. Let Me guide you exactly where you need to go.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Kevin Robinson
June 12, 2012. It is beginning to look like truth has become a scarce commodity. Some of the best people you know are often lying when they appear to be telling the truth. This happens when the heart of a man/woman has lost integrity. With integrity, the heart sounds true every time. Without integrity, it becomes anybody’s guess where the truth may manifest, if at all. Many if not most have lost their fear of God when doing wrong. The home has abandoned keeping watch on the hearts of kids and their parents. No more spankings or having your mouth washed out with soap when you lie. Think of it. How many times do you hear it said of someone, “If he/she tells you something, you can take it to the bank?” Repent as needed. Set a goal for impeccable integrity.
Psalm 12:1-4 (NASB) “Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases to be, for the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. They speak falsehood to one another; with flattering lips and with a double heart they speak. May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaks great things; who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?” Ras Robinson
June 12, 2012. Last night I dreamed about expansion. I walked into an older house where someone was moving out. Others were moving in and learning from the ones who were leaving. The house was in tip top condition and had been used very efficiently. The transition was smooth and people were helping each other move out and move in. Outside, behind the building, was a huge ocean liner. The Lord says, “This will not be as you first think. Don’t jump to conclusions quickly . I will show you where, how and when to expand. You are going to ride on My Spirit in a big way. Keep your thoughts contained under My direction.
Ecclesiastes 8:5 (AMP) “Whoever observes the [king’s] command will experience no harm, and a wise man’s mind will know both when and what to do.” Bev Robinson
June 12, 2012. I am a blessed man . Through the years, my dad has spoken somewhat unbelievable words to me. He has often said how proud he is of me. With a sparkle in his eye, he has often said that someday I might understand just how he feels about me. I’m speechless every time, yet my heart leaps inside of me. The Lord says, “You delight Me in more ways than you could ever imagine. In My word is a glimpse of how I truly feel about you. I am very, very proud of you! I pray that you can truly see and know how I feel about you. May you be enlightened today.”
Ephesians 1:18 (NLT) “I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called-his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.” Kevin Robinson
June 11, 2012. God has plans to bless and prosper you. Special revelation of it will likely come through a dream, a trance, or some vivid picture created in your imagination. Visions involve foreseeing what is going to happen. He gives His vision loaded with promises and directives. A Gentile Roman soldier named Cornelius had a vision directing him to send a representative to Joppa to fetch a man named Peter. Simultaneously, the Apostle Peter fell into a trance (also referred to as a vision). He saw a sheet from Heaven with unclean food. He was directed to eat thereof, against the dietary laws of God. He was spared any judgement. As he related this story to Cornelius, he indicated he had come to extend grace and forgiveness to Cornelius. Cornelius was saved. On that day, the Gospel became available to all believing Gentiles and Jews alike. God has a vision for you also to bless and prosper you. Ask Him about it.
Proverbs 11:14 (NASB) “Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory.” Ras Robinson
June 11, 2012. Your lack of joy is stemming from those who are not being and doing all they need to do and be. This also includes you. Your mind gravitates there, especially when you start to fall asleep. I know it is breaking your heart, but worry is not the answer. You can’t change them or change yourself on your own. The only way changes can happen is through Me. I can change your worrying about another by your surrender of the whole problem through prayer and leaving it with Me. When you need to do something I will show you. I can change each one when each one obeys, doing what I say.
Romans 11:33-36 (NASB) “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgements and unfathomable His ways! For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE Lord, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” Bev Robinson
June 11, 2012. As we approach Father’s Day this weekend. I cannot stop thinking about my daughter Kaytlin. Yesterday, my wife and daughter went to get new clothes for summer. Kaytlin was so excited to show off the new outfits to me one by one. With excitement each and every time, I was so delighted to see her sparkle. God says, “I have given you new garments to wear before Me. Will you display an excited show of your new clothes? I delight with every move you make toward Me! Your relationship with Me is exquisite! I have given you My very best. Receive with gladness all that is rightfully yours.”
1 Timothy 6:6 (NASB) “But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment.” Kevin Robinson
June 10, 2012. How will your account read at the end of your days? Perhaps you do not think about that or even want to do so. The Scriptures are clear that we are to keep watch over our present and our future. In this life we fight many enemies and most of the time we win those battles. We lose a few. The losses speak to us of what could have been but perhaps never can be. After a while the regrets fade into history. The Apostle Paul was bold enough to admonish us to do as he did, to copy him. As he did, we are to fight the good fight of faith to the end. We have eternity to look forward to and we gain our crown of righteousness. As Prime Minister Winston Churchill said in October 1941, at the beginning of WWII, “Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, give up. Never give up. Never give up. Never give up.” How will your account read?
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NASB) “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.” Ras Robinson
June 10, 2012. You agreed to do something and asked for prayer in knowing what and how to do it. The one whom you asked said it was something in which you excelled. Your immediate thought was that you know I am the One who can tell you what and how. That is a good thing, but your next thought was thinking of someone who can do it better. The first thought is good; the second not so good. If I thought another would do it better I would have told the one who asked you to talk to that one. Remember even John asked in his time of need if Jesus was the one or should he look for another.”
Matthew 11:2-4 (ESV) “Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?” And Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see:” Bev Robinson
June 10, 2012. Serve Me with gladness in your heart. Remove from yourself the mindset of “what’s in it for me?” Give attention to the needs of others around you. Ask Me to enhance and refine your focus to My way of thinking. Train your senses to be keenly aware of who and what surrounds you. It’s all about My kingdom. Let others see Me through the actions you take. This is not a complicated ordeal. Be attentive to simple needs. Freely offer help and assistance to others, doing so without grumbling or complaining. I came to serve the will of My Father. Let My joy be your strength along the way.
Matthew 25:35-40 (NKJV) “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” Kevin Robinson
June 9, 2012. Next February I am trusting God for a trip to visit Filipino pastors to conduct a seminar just for them. I have longed to do this for many years. Pastors are one of the greatest delights of my lifetime. I love and respect them. Most sense my love and trust me. My mission purpose to these Filipino pastors is to impart what God has instilled in me over a lifetime. Many never had good fathers. Others’ fathers left them while they were young. Mine began leaving when I was twelve. It is easy for me to identify with them. I want to teach them what God has put on my heart about spiritual fathering. They are so teachable. This burns within my heart like a hot fire. Please join with me in prayer. God is able.
Proverbs 9:8-9 (MSG) “So don’t waste your time on a scoffer; all you’ll get for your pains is abuse. But if you correct those who care about life, that’s different-they’ll love you for it! Save your breath for the wise-they’ll be wiser for it; tell good people what you know-they’ll profit from it.” Ras Robinson
June 9, 2012. It is easier and more exciting to go on to something new. You need to finish some things you are leaving unfinished. There are some loose ends that need to be tied up. Going on to something else instead of finishing what is before you can become a habit and you don’t want that. It is not as enjoyable to do the mundane as to start the new. But to be a success both need to be done. You can pace yourself and do both. You can go to the new and finish the other concurrently. You will enjoy your accomplishment and have things in order both old and new.
James 1:12 (MSG) “Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life.” Bev Robinson
June 9, 2012. We all desire for God’s presence to come down in every circumstance which we encounter. We earnestly seek His face looking for guidance, deliverance, and salvation in its many forms to come in our lives. The Lord says, “Be a vessel of honour. Be an instrument of My glory with every move you make. Take special effort to keep your hands cleansed as with lye. What have your hands been up to? Pounding with a wicked fist to get your way? Playing the blame game by pointing your finger? Maintain a pure heart. Let nothing defile your heart which I have made holy. Give your undivided attention to cleanness and purity.”
Psalm 18:24 (NASB) “Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.”
2 Timothy 2:21-22 (NASB) “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.” Kevin Robinson
June 8, 2012. You are one I can count on to hear Me and follow My teaching. Because you seek Me, there is light all around you. The light of revelation is shining bright right now on the Scriptures. Go there and dig as if exploring a mine of gold. You will find far more value in My word than you could ever find in gold. My instructions and teachings are priceless and irreplaceable. Some will call you a freak and a nerd for spending so much time with Me. But the wise ones will seek you out in the dark shadows so that their friends will not know that you are a source of My light. You are appointed and approved. My favor is yours.
Isaiah 8:20 (NLT) “Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark.” Ras Robinson
June 8, 2012. What to do with upcoming events are the thoughts filling your mind. You have heard the saying that “God comes through at two seconds until too late.” It often seems that way, but the truth is: I give you what you need at the time you need it. Sometimes My answer is “no.” But at times you need this. It doesn’t seem good at the time but nevertheless it is. You have often seen later in looking back that what I did was the best. Precious one, I would never do anything to bring you harm. Be at peace now. Think thoughts of thanksgiving. I will never leave you alone.
Romans 8:28-29 (NASB) “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;” Bev Robinson
June 8, 2012. Make the necessary steps to establish and maintain the discipline of keeping your spiritual health and heart in exceptional condition. Your growth and well-being depend on it. You notice others having pinpoint accuracy with their understanding of My word. You recognize that they have embraced the value of tithing. You see strong evidence of the fruit of the Spirit manifested in their lives. They have learned the power of prayer and have evidence to back it up. All this is yours for the taking. Steps of obedience is all it takes. Don’t postpone the blessings that await you. I will show you great and mighty things that you know not of.
1 Timothy 4:7-9 (NKJV) “But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.” Kevin Robinson
June 7, 2012. If you are biting and devouring one another, you are running the risk of destroying one another. Every time you criticize and judge a person, you are taking a bite at or even out of them . More than once lately, I have found it compelling to tell the perpetrators to “just stop it. You don’t know what you are doing. You are destroying your witness, harming yourself and laying up for you curses that will have cause to come back upon you.” The amazing thing is that those doing this have almost always gradually gotten into the biting and devouring without knowing it has progressed so far. So, when confronted, they stop. Praise God. I have to daily examine myself to see if I am guilty of the same thing since I see it so clearly in others. God forgive me.
Galatians 5:15 (NLT) “But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.” Ras Robinson
June 7, 2012. My power is available to you. When you gave your life and heart to Me you experienced the great exchange. At the time you made the decision you did not know all that you received, but in reality you have exchanged your life for mine. My power is within you and available to you and others around you. Be aware of My Presence and power wherever you are. Sometimes there will be opportunity to express yourself through it dynamically and sometimes it will be more passive, but be aware it is always attracting others. Whatever the need, be aware and responsive. My power attracts and gives opportunity to share Me.
Matthew 4:19 (AMP) “And He said to them, Come after Me [as disciples-letting Me be your Guide], follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men!” B ev Robinson
June 7, 2012. I overheard someone say, that when they were in a particular person’s presence, they felt the school principal just walked in the room. They sensed they had to exhibit excellent behavior and have their A game on. Some have this mindset when they are around their pastor. The Lord says, “You are all My sheep. I receive your exceptional traits which make you unique. I believe only the best for you. Your pastor does also. Accept with open arms those who have My charge over you. Refuse to let any intimidation or fear hinder you . I desire fellowship with you. Those who have spiritual responsibility over you desire rapport as well.”
1 Peter 4:9-11 (NASB) “Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Kevin Robinson
June 6, 2012. There is wisdom in extending kindness. Mature and seasoned counselors commend it. A leader can choose to ignore this wisdom of kindness and put heavier burdens on followers than they need. There is a kingdom principle of extending kindness to others. A leader who does this will have favor with his workers and associates. If you are insensitive and harsh, fear is instilled that can become disruptive. The kingdoms of this world use fear to motivate and punish. The Lord says, “My Kingdom is different than those of this world. Choose today which kingdom you will serve. If it is the right choice you will prosper. My plan is one of peace, righteousness and joy. Join Me.”
2 Chronicles 10:7 (AMP) ” And they answered him, If you are kind to [these] people and please them and speak good words to them, they will be your servants forever.” Ras Robinson
June 6, 2012. Activities are moving so fast around you that your head is spinning. Tension is coming up the back of your neck and your brain is so overloaded it’s affecting your speech. An old song is playing in the back of your mind, “Stop The World – I Want To Get Off.” You know for a fact that too much is going on. All of this is not your doing. So what do you do? Find a quiet place as soon as you can. Unload your mind of what all is happening. If you don’t, things are going to continue to rattle around. Then fill your mind with godly ways that bring you peace.
John 14:27 (NASB) “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. “ Bev Robinson
June 6, 2012. Show My love and affection to others . If it weren’t for love, none of us would be where we are. My Father sent Me in love. He received Me unto His right hand in love as well. The people of the world all-around you want to know if you love them. Though you may not agree with how they believe or function, they want to see if you accept them. Be an example of My love. To the lonely, be a friend. To individuals that are cold, give My warmth. To persons who are hurting, administer My care. To those that are lost, show them the Way. My love never fails.
Luke 6:31 (NIV) “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Kevin Robinson
June 5, 2012. Surrendering your life to God brings His kingdom into your life. Wise are those who know they are not the masters of their lives. Your goals in life are not your own, but rather your goals are to say what He says and do what He does. Take then this opportunity to yield and be at peace with your Maker. In His kingdom Jesus is always Lord and Master. Like the rich young ruler of Scripture was advised, you do well to sell all and seek first His kingdom. Peace, joy and righteousness reign there. Burdens are lifted from your shoulders. You fall to your knees and surrender all over again without thinking or resistance. In that position, your life is refreshed and transformed. Surrender.
Matthew 5:3 (GW) “Blessed are those who recognize they are spiritually helpless. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.” Ras Robinson
June 5, 2012. You were in the middle of something before you realized there was a problem. You knew you needed to do something else before it was too late, but thought there was not enough time left to handle it. This will not be as big of a problem as you think, but you will have to have more information. You feel rushed, but no one is rushing you. Others don’t really mind waiting even though you think they do. Slow things down and take the time you need to make the right decision. I know the right decision. You need to ask Me, but don’t act until you hear what I say.
John 10:27 (AMP) “The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.” Bev Robinson
June 5, 2012. Peter would not be denied. Peter thought he would be the last person who would say he didn’t know Me three times before the rooster crowed. Surely not me, he thought. Yet he did exactly as I said he would do. He could have wallowed in self-pity. He could have hidden in the darkest corner of Jerusalem for the remainder of his days. Instead he had revelation knowledge of who I said he was. Believe in who I say you are. Don’t live a lifestyle of condemnation. Keep your mind renewed. Stay determined. Live out the present. Peter knew I believed in him. I believe in you as well. Move forward.
Matthew 16:17-18 (NKJV) “Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Kevin Robinson
June 3, 2012. When dark clouds gather, remember the sunshine and blue skies. God moved us to Texas from beautiful middle Tennessee where we had spent fourteen wonderful years. Nashville was a haven of friends, new family, spiritual breakthroughs and of course country music. The weather was noted for gray skies and bountiful greenery. Leaving friends behind was difficult (we recently visited and want to re-visit again). Where we live in Texas, it is dry with fewer trees with not so much green. But the skies are blue and clear. Sunshine here is like the glory of the Lord that lifts our heads. Clouds come in Fort Worth also, but we are learning to welcome Jesus to shine His glory on our city to bring revival. Often, I pray the 3rd Great Awakening will burst out in Fort Worth during my lifetime . Let Jesus shine on your days wherever you live. It’s a gift from God.
Psalm 3:3 (NASB) “But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.” Ras Robinson
June 3, 2012. There has been an error in judgement. You were considering something but were not ready to make a decision. You allowed someone to talk you into it. You had some doubt but went ahead. At the time it seemed like something that could be worked out later. Now you realize you moved too quickly. What do you do now? Do you go ahead because many people now know? Do you swallow your pride and back out before it is too late? Don’t be overwhelmed. Right now you don’t see how any good can come out of this. Listen to Me, obey Me and all will turn out good. I have the answer.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Bev Robinson
June 3, 2012. To whom are you accountable and answerable? The correct answer is Me. What measures are or have been established to keep yourself held in check? Are you a ship without a rudder? Are you being responsible? Are you under authority? I stayed within the boundaries established by My Father. I made time to be alone with My Father in the wilderness. Those times were for strengthening of My soul and for encouragement. Submit and yield to My way. Establish a partnership with someone of intense godly character so you can have resolve in your behaviour. Always live irreproachably, blamelessly and holy. Keep the open lines of communication open.
1 Peter 3:14-16 (NLT) “But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. T hen if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.” Kevin Robinson
June 2, 2012. In Bible times trances were common. Peter fell into a trance and saw a vision. This event introduced believing non-Jewish Gentiles into the spiritual family of God. God showed Peter a sheet from Heaven filled with a load of unclean animals and told Peter to kill and eat. Until that moment in history, unclean things (non-kosher) were defined and prohibited by God’s dietary laws from being consumed. But God chose a fisherman (Peter) to deliver a forever shift in theology of grace. This became part of the new covenant. God may want to give you a trance and/or vision that will change your life and the lives of others. Are you open?
Acts 11:5-9 (MSG) “Recently I was in the town of Joppa praying. I fell into a trance and saw a vision: Something like a huge blanket, lowered by ropes at its four corners, came down out of heaven and settled on the ground in front of me. Milling around on the blanket were farm animals, wild animals, reptiles, birds-you name it, it was there. Fascinated, I took it all in. “Then I heard a voice: ‘Go to it, Peter-kill and eat.’ I said, ‘Oh, no, Master. I’ve never so much as tasted food that wasn’t kosher.’ The voice spoke again: ‘If God says it’s okay, it’s okay.’ “ Ras Robinson
June 2, 2012. Here you are again on the cusp of a hole. You know what is ahead because you remember the warnings of destructive behavior. You don’t want to do this, but you feel a pull you have felt before. The devil has crept up out of the hole to grab and pull you in. If you don’t resist him and fight him off he will pull you down and down farther than before. When at the bottom you know there will be regret. Resist the temptation NOW! Fight him off. Back away from the hole . Turn around. My child I will meet you there. We will rejoice greatly and celebrate your victory together.
Luke 15:22-24 (NLT) “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.” Bev Robinson
June 2, 2012. You have read and heard about signs and wonders being performed through My mighty hand and outstretched arm. They were executed through Moses and through Jesus, as well as the Apostles. Yes, they are still being done today. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that these signs and wonders are being accomplished. We as One grant grace so that you might believe through signs, wonders and miracles. Be careful not to your put your hope or reliance in man, but rather in Me . Seek first My kingdom and for My will to be accomplished. Place all of your faith and trust in Me. I am the truth and the way.
Hebrews 2:1-4 (MSG) “It’s crucial that we keep a firm grip on what we’ve heard so that we don’t drift off. If the old message delivered by the angels was valid and nobody got away with anything, do you think we can risk neglecting this latest message, this magnificent salvation? First of all, it was delivered in person by the Master, then accurately passed on to us by those who heard it from him. All the while God was validating it with gifts through the Holy Spirit, all sorts of signs and miracles, as he saw fit.” Kevin Robinson
June 1, 2012. Living according to the prophetic word of the Lord is the most exciting life there is. The Holy Spirit wrote through Peter the shining truth about God’s word to you and me. He described it as light shining in a dark place . It waits there until it is the right time to shine into our hearts like the rising daily sun, illuminating the darkness. Paul writes to Timothy with instructions based upon the prophetic word first spoken to Timothy through a prophetic presbytery of which Paul was a part. The word of God can lie dormant but it never returns void. It illuminates the day when Jesus will speak even more clearly to you by His word. With such words you fight and win the battles of life.
2 Peter 1:19 (NASB) “So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.”
1 Timothy 1:18 (NLT) “Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles.” Ras Robinson
June 1, 2012. The devil hates you. He is a formidable foe so do not take him lightly. Don’t focus on him. Keep your focus on Me but keep him in the corner of your eyes so that his wiles will not trip you up. He will try every trick to keep you from overcoming the obstacle to your victory, and from encouraging others how they too can overcome. You are the light of the world, and he hates that light because it lights your way and shines through you to light the ways of others. They see your light and know what you have overcome. It gives hope that they too can overcome.
Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT) “You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Bev Robinson
June 1, 2012. Thirty seven years and one day mark the official day my family moved from Tennessee to Texas. My dad had become Spirit-filled about forty years ago and felt led to lay aside a very successful career. He and my mom decided to take a major step of faith. My dad was starting a new ministry by faith and our whole family has never looked back. It has been an awesome journey to see God move on our behalf. We truly had no idea the benefits that awaited us. The Lord says, “What steps are you willing to take to see My glory revealed? Take up your cross and follow Me.”
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Kevin Robinson
