What the Lord is Saying Today – January 2012
January 31, 2012. To hope is to desire with expectation of fulfillment. Misplaced hope can bring a crushing to your heart. But when you hope in Me, you can take courage in knowing that I will never let you down. You are desirous of something now but you are hesitant to declare your hope for fear of disappointment. In your past, it seems that your declared hope was delayed or denied. As time went by you saw that I blessed your hope in a way that was unexpected. It is time to regain your courage to believe and have hope again for what I have put in your heart. As you do this, you will gain strength to increase your hope. Be strong.
Psalm 31:24 (NASB) ” Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the LORD.” Ras Robinson
January 31, 2012. Right now you are aware of many problems going on in the lives of people. Some you listened to and some you just know about. You did the right thing by listening but you are hearing from just one point of view. It is hard for you not to take on these burdens. The best thing is to unload all of this onto Me. You can help share the burden, but you can’t fix the problem. I am the only One who is able to bear and fix these things. Don’t allow your emotions to take them on. Roll them off of you and over onto Me. Be at peace.
1 Peter 5:7-8 (NASB) “casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Bev Robinson
January 31, 2012. Now is the time to step up. You have been waiting for the precise moment to enter into a particular situation. There is not a moment to lose. Seize the day. Get up and enter into the assignment I have given you. Others close to you to have recognized your position and are excited to assist you in whatever means necessary. You have a vital role in some upcoming matters and you will excel far beyond your wildest imaginations. Embrace your part. Without your participation, the events ahead will be difficult to accomplish. Believe in yourself, I do. You are a very capable person, born for such a time as this.
Philippians 4:13 (NASB) “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Kevin Robinson
January 30, 2012. You have a mix of circumstances all wanting your attention. Wisdom tells you that getting involved will demand much time, effort and ultimately substantial costs. Should you get involved, it will be much like bringing together the ingredients of a new soup. It is important that you choose well each ingredient and measure each with precision. Your reward will be as great as you prove to be faithful to the task. Towards the end of this process you will begin to see that this mix was designed by Me to help you grow and mature beyond your years. Lean on Me. Your confidence in Me will see you through this time.
Proverbs 3:5 (AMP ) “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.” Ras Robinson
January 30, 2012. I just finished reading a book about heaven and also just had a friend die and go to heaven. This has caused me to think more about heaven. The Lord says, “You have trusted me for salvation and will also trust Me for the journey into heaven. Don’t worry, My precious one. I have it covered. Dying is just a part of living. There will not be a big transition for you. It will just be a short step over. To be absent from the body is to be immediately present with Me. You have had times of glory on earth that will continue and increase. But there is much in store in heaven.”
Psalms 116:15 (AMP) “Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones).” Bev Robinson
January 30, 2012. Now would be a good time to slow down in some of your pursuits. You’ve been pushing for answers to questions you have had for a long time. Your persistence is admirable. You need to accept the fact that some things take longer than usual. The difficulty you are experiencing is most likely due to your impatience. My ways are not your ways. I see the big picture. J ust like a human baby is not born immediately after conception. So too, some of the issues you have need to develop before complete fruition can take place. Patience is a fruit of Holy Spirit. Submit to Me during this trial.
Ephesians 4:1-3 (NASB ) “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Kevin Robinson
January 29, 2012. Clear skies and bright sunshine are My blessings following the storms of life. Have you ever noticed, following such weather, that even the air about you seems cleansed? As foolish as it seems, the trucks and cars passing by in such a time appear to be dancing joyfully along with the fowls of the air. It requires faith and trust with a child-like heart to see and hear such things. The faithless and secular word has been taught logic, reasoning and requiring proof of what cannot be seen or heard. All the while, they believe their own theories and hypotheses that also cannot been seen or heard. Pray for eyes and ears to open with spiritual revelation.
John 3:3 (NLT) “Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14-16 (NASB) “But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, “Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all. And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.” Ras Robinson
January 29, 2012. There is a whole new period of time you are about to enter. You have been so caught up in what has been happening, you haven’t given this much thought. But this time is now before you. There will be a time of adjustment as with any new experience and it won’t be easy, but afterwards you will have a choice. You can face the time with trepidation or you can embrace it as My mission assignment. Keep tight contact with Me during this time with integrity. Your destiny will be unfolded before you. There will be challenges. But if you face these as opportunities, you and others will stand amazed.
Psalms 28:7 (NASB) “The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him” Bev Robinson
January 29, 2012. You have heard it said, better late than never. I want you to search your heart and perhaps even your address book to rekindle positive thoughts you have had before. Now is an excellent time to make a personal visit, write a note, or pick up the phone to stir up thoughts of gratitude and kindness. You have had individuals in your life that have made significant impact on you personally in various arenas. Take the opportunity to encourage someone who has influenced you in the past. Don’t allow the enemy to steal away blessings that someone else desperately needs. Freely you have received, freely give. You too are a blessing.
Acts 20:35 (NASB) “In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, the He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’.” Kevin Robinson
January 28, 2012. A special and dear pastor friend for many years died Thursday. He was a hero, not only to me but, to virtually all who knew him. He loved the poor and disadvantaged. Doing missions work was his favorite ministry . More than a few ethnic groups thought of him their champion because he so identified himself with them. One of our favorite things to do when together was to laugh, laugh and laugh. A dear friend is a treasure from God. The Lord says, “Show yourself friendly to all I bring into your path. Open your heart to them and show that you genuinely care. New and old friends will gather themselves to you because they see Jesus (the friend that sticks closer than a brother) in you. You are a friend of God. Be a friend to My children.”
Proverbs 18:24 (KJV) “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” Ras Robinson
January 28, 2012. Untethered is a word and feeling that keeps floating to the top of your mind and emotions. You don’t like it. It feels really weird. You don’t feel grounded. Yes, it is an uncomfortable feeling… a disconcerted feeling like you don’t belong. This is not about you. It is about someone else. Your spirit is picking up on something someone else is going through. Pray for that one. Then quieten yourself down and wait. You will see in due time what this is about. This isn’t the first time it has happened is it? It won’t be the last time. You are much more connected to each other than you know.
Job 22:30 (AMP) “He will even deliver the one [for whom you intercede] who is not innocent; yes, he will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.” Bev Robinson
January 28, 2012. You have been equipped with the most comprehensive version of Me. Inside of you rests all the features I have. You are more than able to accomplish all that your heart desires. Open your mind to the realization that you have all the necessary tools to overcome any obstacle which is before you. There is no need to acquire more than what you already have. Now is the time to put to use the equipment you have received. You no longer have an excuse for not implementing the tools which you have been given. Put your complete reliance on Me. Trust Me to guide your every move.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NASB) “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” Kevin Robinson
January 27, 2012. Put away your fears. They have no place in the life of My new creation in you. Instead of fear, enhance and grow your love, let it abound. With love you have a powerful tool. My agapao love is perfect. It is My heart for all My children. Perfect love casts out all fear. You believe in Me, you have confidence and peace of mind. As a new creation, you think differently, you fix your mind on things above. You have a certainty about life. The devil has been defeated, the war is over. Never again fall for the wicked schemes of the devil to defeat you. His tool of fear against you is a failure.
Psalm 27:1 (MSG) “Light, space, zest- that’s GOD! So, with him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing.” Ras Robinson
January 27, 2012. The thought has come to mind lately, is this ever going to be over? You know for a fact that it will. But it has been so much longer than before and it feels like it will never end. This is where the discouragement comes from, by all you know it should have ended long before now. Don’t let this drag you down. Keep your thoughts on things above. Concentrate on the positive. Get in The Word and let your spirit be revived. From your spirit it will seep into your soul and body. My Word has within itself the ability to heal and encourage like nothing else. It’s alive and active.
Hebrews 4:12 (MSG) “God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.” Bev Robinson
January 27, 2012. You know well that Satan is prowling about like a lion seeking whom he can devour, right. He is looking for someone who has become perplexed, confused, and uncertain about what they are doing. I encourage you to become planted and to get firmly set in position of knowing who and whose you are. Satan is constantly throwing conniving schemes at you to dissuade you from My truth. Ground yourself daily in My word. Establish My truth in your mind. Truth is already in your heart. Steer clear of malcontent individuals who can lead you into Satan’s traps. Set your mind like flint against the falsehood and lies that Satan brings.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NASB) “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” Kevin Robinson
January 26, 2012. It started snowing where I am in the mountains. It is the first snow fall I have seen this season. Back at home, we got over four inches of rain with the nighttime filled with deep, loud and continuous thundering. The Lord speaks loudly during storms and season changes. The Lord says, “Let nothing be wasted. Rather, tune your ears and make sensitive and alert your body, soul and spirit. Most will miss the significance of My heavenly signs, messages and displays of wonder. Count yourself blessed if you have reached that place of often being before Me at My throne of grace. For it is there that all who have ears can hear and all who have eyes can see and understand. You hunger for more and more of Me.”
Revelation 19:6-7 (MSG) “Then I heard the sound of massed choirs, the sound of a mighty cataract, the sound of strong thunder: Hallelujah! The Master reigns, our God, the Sovereign-Strong! Let us celebrate, let us rejoice, let us give him the glory! The Marriage of the Lamb has come; his Wife has made herself ready.” Ras Robinson
January 26, 2012. Rain started with lightning and thunder as I went to bed and continued all night long. Just before daybreak the loudest longest sustained roll of thunder I have believe I have ever heard woke me up. I looked at the clock, and it immediately rolled onto 6:00 AM. This all startled me. It was surreal. I asked the Lord what was this about . I heard in my spirit, “This is for you, My Church, locally and at large. It is time to wake up. It’s time for all to be and do what I have called them to. It’s time to shed any darkness. Come into the full light of day”.
1 Peter 2:9 (NASB) “But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” Bev Robinson
January 26, 2012. Now would be an excellent time to put forth a positive attitude. When was the last time you gave a favorable, uplifting, appreciative comment to your pastor or to those who have charge over you? Positive reinforcement goes a long way in the betterment of the atmosphere around you. Make the effort to change your attitude, posture, and approach in the way you conduct your life. With so many negatives bombarding our lives, become a world changer and change the climate where you are. Those around you could surely benefit from the life giving words I have to offer. I came to give good news. Will you join Me?
Ephesians 4:29 (NASB) “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Kevin Robinson
January 25, 2012. You need to receive specific and clear instruction from the Lord for a major decision that you must make soon. As far as you can know yourself, you desire only to do the will of the Lord. And yet, circumstances that occurred have clouded a previously clear direction. T he truth is that you complicated what I gave you as a simple directive. Now you wonder if you should just terminate the project and move on to something else. But your heart is broken and you feel you have failed and disappointed Me. I say unto you, “Consider Jesus who did nothing of His own initiative. He stopped everything, got with Me and received new direction. You do the same and all will be well with you and Me.”
John 5:30 (NASB) “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgement is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” Ras Robinson
January 25, 2012. You have wondered if you came across with the group like you wanted too. Did you appear to be completely off base or did you sound too anxious? I know what you have been praying for, but those you were with did not know your requests or the depths of your needs. You asked Me ahead of time to guard your mind and your mouth. That is exactly what happened. You said and behaved exactly as you needed to. Be at peace, I have set in motion all that will need to be done to accomplish what I have said for you to do. Your mission will be a success.
Joshua 1:9 (MSG) “Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.” Bev Robinson/strong
January 25, 2012. You’re being inflexible. You’ve now begun to make a conscious effort towards stubbornness. Just because you don’t get your way does not mean you have to revert to childish behavior. You’re teetering on the edge of rebellion or witchcraft. I’m sure you remember how the Israelites wandered throughout the desert for forty years primarily because of stubborn behavior and rebellion. Do not repeat their obstinate attitudes. Choose now to accept the plans I have for you. Allow me to make changes in your agenda. Lay down the ridged, stiff-necked attitude which is hindering My mighty move in your life. Pattern yourself after Jesus, who yielded to My will, not His.
Job 22:21 (NASB) “Yield now and be at peace with Him; thereby good will come to you.” Kevin Robinson
January 24, 2012. Here it comes again. You call it chronic. Could it also be demonic? You have something going on like this. It comes around again and again. You need to seek the Lord as to whether it is earthly, unspiritual or demonic. If you determine it to be demonic, you must cast it out and away. There are available to you many in the body of Christ who can take you through deliverance. Humble yourself and ask for help. I have given you all the power and resources you need to be free. Only stand, resist and command it to go away. Your freedom comes from Me. I freely give it to you.
James 3:15 (NLT) “For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.” Ras Robinson
January 24, 2012. There is an onslaught of bad happenings. This has broadsided you. You suspected something but not this. It’s time to take a break. Not a big break that would leave you more to do than you are already doing but a short break. Take a deep breath… a deep breath of My Spirit, and breathe out confusion. Be aware that you are breathing out confusion. Stand still. Don’t go forward right now. When you move, do it slowly and keep your mind fixed on Me. Meditate on My Word. Build up your faith. I am working out some problems that you don’t even know are there. All will be peaceful soon.
Psalms 1:1-2 (NASB) “How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.” Bev Robinson
January 24, 2012. Are you prepared to enter into the fray? Some of you are walking around as if warfare does not exist. And even if it does exist, it will never affect you. You need to be in a state of readiness for battle. Satan does not nor will he ever fight fairly. He fights very cunningly and deceitfully. Have the mind of Christ to offset his vicious ploys. Be prepared and know that he will come after you through your family, co-workers, fellow believers or any means necessary to defeat you. Stay in My word. Keep fervent in prayer. Memorize Scripture to help remind you of truth in difficult moments. Be ready!
1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” Kevin Robinson
January 23, 2012. Being off course one degree can cause a disaster. The cruise ship Costa Concordia hit a reef near the island of Giglio off the Tuscan coast of Italy last Friday night. The ship veered off the approved course, according to the ship’s navigation charts, and hit a reef cutting a160 foot gash in the ship’s hull. It partially sank, resulting in the loss of many lives. Likewise, veering off course from the commandments of Jesus is sin. To deny the sin is folly. But to admit the sin and regret it, asking forgiveness, leads to eternal life and clear sailing again. At this moment, the ship’s captain has not admitted his error. I have admitted mine, have you?
John 14:15 (GW) “If you love me, you will obey my commandments.” Ras Robinson
January 23, 2012. I know you don’t feel like it but do it anyway. Get out beyond yourself and follow Me. You will look back on this and be glad you didn’t stay where you are. Getting caught up in someone else’s challenge will help you get through your challenge. When you get your mind off yourself and onto helping someone else it is a blessing in disguise. You are helping them and somehow you receive help to overcome what you are going through. This is according to My law of faith. My law is reciprocal. When you give, more than you give will be given back to the point of running over.
Luke 6:38 (AMP) “Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.” Bev Robinson
January 23, 2012. You are on the verge of a tremendous breakthrough in your life. Your persistence has begun to pay off . You have rattled Satan’s cage and he has decided to move on to someone else that has less stamina than you. That’s not to say the trials and testing will completely cease. However, your perseverance is about to yield its reward. You have continuously pounded upward towards the heavens for a reprieve and now a new day is dawning. You have embraced joy through all the tribulation you have encountered and now you will reap great rewards. Do not loosen your hold on the things for which you believe Me.
Daniel 10:12 (NASB) “Then he said to me, ‘Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words’.” Kevin Robinson
January 22, 2012. Your mind seems to be spinning around on so many things at one time. It is becoming confusing. Even at night when you lay your head on your pillow, the spinning continues. Are you ready for Me to help you? I say unto you, “Pray unto Me that I will order your mind and emotions according to My will. If you do this, neither your will or the will of the world and the devil will prevail. The devil is the author of lies and confusion. His scheming is aimed at destroying both you and your peace of mind. I have given you the mind of Christ . His is a mind of peace. He is neither stressed nor anxious about anything. Therefore calmly submit yourself, your mind, will and emotions to the mind of Christ. Take a deep breath and allow Jesus to be Jesus in you as I intend and as you desire. You are precious to Me.
Philippians 4:8 (NASB) “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” Ras Robinson
January 22, 2012. A promise came a long time ago. You have waited and waited. When will it come about? Is this it? Is this the time? You have wondered if this promise is really from Me. Go back to the start. Remember the circumstances . Ask again, “Is this really for me?” Don’t be afraid. You don’t want it if it did not come from Me. My promises are yes and amen. I always want the best for you. I always have good stored up for you and yours. I am always here to give you blessings. My promise is thorough and right on time. It comes at the time when it will be best for all.
2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NASB) For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.” Bev Robinson
January 22, 2012. You have begun to allow Satan to get the better of you. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, terror has entered into your realm of thinking. You have become suspicious of most people and have adopted intense fear with most situations you encounter. Though Satan is prowling about like a roaring lion, you don’t have to give in to his schemes. He longs for you to live in an atmosphere of apprehension and anxiety. I have not given you the spirit which you have laid hold of. Get in my realm of thinking. Rise above the natural things of this world. Have awe of Me. I am greater than any care or concern.
Proverbs 14:26 (NASB) “In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have refuge.” Kevin Robinson
January 21, 2012. You are an honorable person. People trust you. That is why they are attracted to you and come for counsel. Those same people also like being around you. Your deposit of grace overflows. Grace is like a cloud over you and the wind around you. Being positive, up building and kind has become your mode of operation. It has not always been so. You have humbled yourself and taken your hands of control off your life and the lives of others. The Lord says, “I am the Prince of Peace. And since I live inside your heart, you have constant access to Me to grant that peace to others. Speak peace and insist on living peaceably with those I bring into your sphere of influence. My honor goes before you.
Proverbs 21:21 (NASB) “He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life, righteousness and honor.” Ras Robinson
January 21, 2012. You are seeing things which are only on the surface. Things are not as they appear. There is a whole undercurrent of activity that many know about. It isn’t illegal but it runs the whole show. Do not rush in and make a quick decision. Wait until you know more about what is going on. If you rush in too quickly the wrong decision will be made. If you wait on Me, what is hidden will be revealed. You need more facts before you come to the truth. I know the truth. Waiting is not procrastinating. Waiting until the right time is what you must do. The time is not now.
Lamentations 3:24 (AMP) “The Lord is my portion or share, says my living being (my inner self); therefore will I hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” Bev Robinson
January 21, 2012. Are you taking time out of your busy schedule to disciple someone? Simplify your schedule to accommodate change. Now is the time to take a young believer under your wing. I have planted My fruit deep within the good soil of your spirit. You have so much to offer in the ways of righteousness and godliness. Don’t hide the love you have to offer, but rather seek out those who need My gentle care and concern. Search deep within your soul to find someone who needs the uplift I have to offer. Believe in yourself and get beyond the initial fear. I will instruct you how to proceed from here forward.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Kevin Robinson
January 20, 2012. You are seeing your offspring pick up the mantle of the Lord. You have My blessings in your family. A granddaughter recently taught for the first time some other young mothers. Her subject was about what she had learned about mothering and being a young wife. It thrilled everyone that she stepped forward to do that. She got much positive affirmation! Yet another daughter is beginning to prophesy. A son is now writing prophetically. Other offspring are serving and ministering. You have sown in the good soil of your inheritance from Me and the harvest is now coming. But you have also seen some very difficult trials and tribulations. One great grandson almost died. I am still healing him even as I have brought you and your offspring into more and more of My light.
Psalm 144:12-14 (NASB) “Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, And our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace; let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce, and our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; let our cattle bear Without mishap and without loss, Let there be no outcry in our streets!” Ras Robinson
January 20, 2012. It could be better, but it could also be worse. You aren’t feeling well now, but this will pass. This is the time to get some rest. Yes, you are to always rest…rest in Me, but now is a particular time you need to do so. Allow your body, soul and spirit to rest. All you need is some time. I know time is a precious commodity now, but leave off the things that are absolutely unnecessary. There will be a time to get those done before the zero hour. You will be able to get them done in record time. Draw in your thoughts. Love on Me because I love on you.
Hebrews 4:7 (AMP) “Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.” Bev Robinson
January 20, 2012. Would you sit a while with Me? Could you just stay a while with Me? Will you slow down for more than just a moment to soak in My presence? When was the last time you devoted more than a few minutes to some quality time with me? I am not sending a condemning word, but rather an encouraging word. It would do you a lot of good right now to set aside the cares of this world. Be refreshed by the invigorating glory of My love and compassion. I yearn to spend quality time with you. Come away with Me today. Get soaked in My affection and revel in Me.
Psalm 144:15 (NASB) “How blessed are the people who are so situated; how blessed are the people whose God is the Lord.” Kevin Robinson
January 19, 2012. You are a blessed and a chosen vessel in the house of the Lord. Among all, I chose you because of how precious you are to Me. I saw you before you were born and knew your days. Your days will be special and set apart from the crowds. When I call you, you freely come. I count you as one of My faithful and true ones on whom I can count and depend. You are My light and My voice in a world of ever increasing darkness. Look around you. The darkness is getting darker and spreading like a plague. No more hiding under a bushel. Stand tall and let your voice be heard. My voice is as the voice of a roaring lion. Will you be My roaring lion? Roar!
1 Peter 2:9 (NASB) “But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” Ras Robinson
January 19, 2012. In the past you made some decisions. You did what was according to your best thinking, but you were not seeking Me. Now that there is a conglomerate of problems, you have turned to Me. You feel badly because you have waited so long. You kept putting it off because you felt guilty for not seeking Me earlier. Yes there are more problems now than there were earlier but now you have humbled yourself. You’ve have done the right thing. Receive My peace and protection. There will be consequences but not as bad as you think. I will get you through. Do as I say and in time victory will come.
Psalms 18:27-29 (NLT) “You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud. You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.” Bev Robinson
January 19, 2012. Loosen your grip on those destructive memories. For too long you’ve been unable to release the hurt and pain associated with certain matters . Let it go. Find a way to focus on the positives of things that transpired. The failed delivery of great expectations you had have become a major issue. You have given too much attention to something not meant to be. Now, those people who surround you suffer because you are giving them short change. Release the parties from the chains of bondage you’ve applied. Without this, you will linger in the state of denial for years to come. I am the God who proclaims release to the captives.
Luke 4:18-19 (NASB) “THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE DOWNTRODDEN, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.” Kevin Robinson
January 18, 2012. Learn to snuff out and control your anger. Anger is to be avoided, but if it happens, repent and clear it all up at the end of each day. Do not sleep with your anger. Declare to your conscience that you are NOT an angry person. Remember your witness to those around you. Eyes and ears of little ones and adults as well, are observing you, learning how to act when they get upset. Let them see you be slow to anger. And if you get angry, put on an exhibit of how to express it redemptively without hurting others with words and actions . Your anger, when not guided and managed, will produce evil and bad effects. Instead, manifest righteousness to those around you. I love you and know that you will take to heart what I have said in love to you today.
James 1:19-20 (NLT) “Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.” Ras Robinson
January 18, 2012. You made a change and you are beginning to wonder if you have done the right thing. Some things have happened lately that are not going well. You feel the change may have produced these problems. Don’t look back and linger there, it will cause worry and worry is not good. Rest your mind. You made the change that you thought was right at the time. Lingering back is not going to help. Stay now with the change you have made, but drop the things that you believe hold you back. Ask Me for wisdom and move slowly forward. Now follow Me step by step. Victory and goodness will come soon.
Psalms 16:5-6 (AMP) “The Lord is my chosen and assigned portion, my cup; You hold and maintain my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage.” Bev Robinson
January 18, 2012. Now is the time to prune. Now is the time to be proactive in trimming dead or living parts which produce and those that don’t produce good fruit in your life. Take inventory of your life. Perform a thorough inspection to see what is giving life and what is not. Be honest during this process. Do not merely hang on to something just because it once was pretty or has sentimental value. It would be wise to do this pruning yourself. Otherwise, I will come and do the cutbacks. Though pruning may seem drastic at times, the growth that follows is for your benefit. You will be amazed at the results.
John 15:2 (NASB) “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit.” Kevin Robinson
January 17, 2012. You saw mercy flow like a river and grace gushing forth as a geyser in your meeting and fellowship recently. There has been a long dry spell of the Holy Spirit working powerfully among the saints. Revival and awakening seems but a good memory from long ago. But, amazing as it was, the people responded to truth and the Spirit like children. Some of it was a little frightening at the level of grace and freedom because so much of it was new. You were amazed how quickly the people responded when given the opportunity with a bit of guidance. This has now begun to happen as it should be happening all the time. In fact, it should have been the way all along. Rejoice in the Holy Spirit and be glad.
Galatians 5:1 (NASB) “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Ras Robinson
January 17, 2012. There are consequences to be faced. I don’t say this to hurt you, to shame you or make you feel lower than you are. I say this to help you and to show you favor. This is communication just between you and Me. You are causing some of what is going on. Stop now and remember what you have heard — that “what goes around comes around.” That is not just a saying. It comes straight from Scripture. Scripture says you reap what you sow. If you sow to the flesh it returns. If you sow to the spirit it also returns. Do not blame others. You take the high road.
Colossians 3:1-3 (NASB) “Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Bev Robinson
January 17, 2012. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no. You have begun to waver in your decision making. Your stance on certain issues has become wishy washy. Do an about face and turn away from double-mindedness. Your whole life has been defined by the way you handle situations. For some reason you have begun to doubt and have unbelief. These are very uncharacteristic traits for you. Stand firm in what you know to be the truth. Even if you are wrong, you will have stood strong in battle. Ask of Me full of faith. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone concerning matters in your heart.
James 1:6-8 (NASB) “But let him ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Kevin Robinson
January 16, 2012. You received no material inheritance from your family. It has been difficult for you not to feel short changed in life because of this. You fight feelings of jealousy when you see others receive material inheritances. But I tell you that I am your inheritance. I have been and am now your support in this life. What I have done for you to insure your inheritance is a beautiful thing. The more you are blessed the greater will be My glory . I tell you that it gives Me great pleasure for you to rise and shine as a testimony to Me. You are quick to offer thanksgiving and praise to Me, your Lord and God.
Psalm 16:5-6 (NASB) “The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You support my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.” Ras Robinson
January 16, 2012. What you feel like doing is either caving in and forgetting about what you need or spending time in strong prayer while fasting. There is a time for that but not now. A breakthrough has been moving up toward your horizon for quite awhile now. It is soon ready to appear in full form. One of the things that will hasten its coming is you gathering up concern for someone else whom you know also needs a breakthrough. They need it just as badly as you do. Pray for their breakthrough and before you know it light will be breaking through the darkness and what you have been needing will appear.
Matthew 7:12 (MSG) “Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get.” Bev Robinson
January 16, 2012. Right now many things are jockeying for position in your life . You are being bombarded by numerous variables which are attempting to distract you away from Me. Keep your focus on Me. Though these are busy and somewhat difficult times you are in, do not look to the left or right. Now is not the time to change plans. Align yourself with My word and steer clear of the various noises that are trying to gain an advantage. You’re precious to Me. Draw near to Me while the storm passes by. This is a momentary trial you are going through. Stay the course and do not be swift in your decisions.
Proverbs 3:26 (NASB) “For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.” Kevin Robinson
January 15, 2012. Be careful about using strong voice and harsh words in your communications with people. This is more especially true concerning people you love and those who love you. You have leadership abilities that are being blunted because of your anger. Anger is often based in fear. Do you not know that love trumps and overcomes all fear? Instead, think about love when you feel a rise of anger. Consider at that time My own love for you and how I speak to you in Scripture and by my Spirit. Follow My example. Keep a cool head and a gentle spirit about you. As you do this, rage, anger and harsh words will dissipate like a thin autumn cloud.
Proverbs 15:1 (GW) “A gentle answer turns away rage, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Ras Robinson
January 15, 2012. It is so hard for you to see those you love going through hard times. They have been here before and you see the damage it is causing. Lack of self control is running rampant, and discipline has all but disappeared. Blame is the name of the game. The first and best thing is to lift all of what is on going up to Me. Pray for repentance. Don’t get ahead of Me and say things you will be sorry for later. Don’t make judgements on your own. Don’t worry. I know it is hard, but you must for your health. Thank Me in advance for the good that will come.
Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
January 15, 2012. No need to worry. I have all things under My control. You have allowed anxiety to creep in and it has become like a wound that won’t heal. Put your full reliance upon Me. Trust Me. In the past it seems like I have let you down. Just because you have had some prayers go unanswered does not mean I have left you out in the cold. I am working matters out for your benefit. Surround yourself with people who are uplifting and who believe and who are full of faith. Undoubtedly, I am with you and I am forever interceding on your behalf. Cast aside thoughts which are burdensome.
Matthew 6:34 (NASB) “Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Kevin Robinson
January 14, 2012. You have trusted Me and I am pleased. I have watched you believe when your faith was not very strong. The times you have agreed to what I have asked without having to know the particulars is impressive. You have chosen the good path of the Lord your God. Truth has become your steady companion. The freedom you are experiencing flows directly from that truth. There is more truth coming your way. You will understand heavenly spheres and eternal realities like never before. Dare to trust Me for the impossible. Immediately beyond where you are is a realm where the impossible is always possible. You have just begun your supernatural journey. Great things are ahead.
Luke 18:27 (NASB) “But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.” Ras Robinson
January 14, 2012. Things are not going well at all right now and you are angry and fearful, lashing out. You’re at the bottom of a blaming cycle and have been here many times before. This time let it be different. Things have happened and you are looking for another to make changes because of their position. You’ve heard that everything starts at the top and trickles down. While that is true, you handle your relationship with them differently than you handle your relationship to yourself. What you do with them is to pray. What you do for yourself is to change. You can do neither on your own. Nevertheless do them both.
James 1:20 (AMP) “For man’s anger does not promote the righteousness God [wishes and requires]. Luke 6:42 (AMP) “Or how can you say to your brother, Brother, allow me to take out the speck that is in your eye, when you yourself do not see the beam that is in your own eye? You actor (pretender, hypocrite)! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.” Bev Robinson
January 14, 2012. Raise the bar. It is time for you to step forward and set a higher standard for yourself and for those which surround you. You were called to a more excellent way of life. Set your sights to a higher level. Look beyond the current setting you’re in and soar to new heights with Me. Set attainable goals with the mindset of having others accompany you on a higher plain. Quite often, believers are content to blend in to their surroundings. Become spiritually aggressive for the sake of My kingdom. The early church was not stagnant or lethargic in their approach to a lost and dying world . Become a standard bearer.
1 Timothy 4:16 (NASB) “Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things; for as you do this you will insure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.” Kevin Robinson
January 13, 2012. Dare to believe for healings and miracles. Around our city and yours are people who desperately need Jesus to move in their behalf. Will it happen? Yes, it happens where people truly believe. Faith alone is not enough. You must also believe. To merely want miracles is short of believing Jesus will do them. You can ask and want them with all your heart, but it is with a simple, child-like heart, that you believe. Jesus welcomes children to come to Him. He delights in the faith and believing of a child-like heart in you. We have pastors, elders and a congregation full of child-like faith to believe for your miracle. You need to see your miracle begin or be totally done tonight.
Matthew 13:57-58 (NLT ) “…Then Jesus told them, ” A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family. And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.” Ras Robinson
January 13, 2012. There are many streets in the USA named Broadway, especially in large cities. In My kingdom there is only one and it is the Narrow way. It is very good to open your mind to My ways but do not open it to all ways. Broad is the path which leads to destruction and you certainly don’t want that way. It is a fine line or you could say a narrow way between greed and prosperity. It is recorded for you to be in good health and prosperous, but it is also recorded to avoid greed at all costs. How do you know which is which. Ask. I will show you.
Luke 12:30-31 (NASB) “For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things “But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.” Bev Robinson
January 13, 2012. Don’t give up. Now is not the time to throw in the towel or resign. Make every effort to make amends in your relationships. Satan is determined to bring you and others down to his level. He grovels in the lowest of places. Don’t join with him in mocking those you love. Everyone has deficiencies and each person needs support and understanding when times get tough. Choose now to remove the fuses that can ignite firestorms. Fires can be difficult to extinguish. Decide at this very hour that you will not abandon those you love. Tough times will not last forever. Have the mindset to strengthen your resolve against Satan’s ploys.
James 4:11-12 (NASB) “Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother, or judges his brother, speaks against the law, and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge of it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?” Kevin Robinson
January 12, 2012. Trusting in the Lord your God is not always easy. Hearing My voice and heart are so important that at times you must resort to unusual methods of hearing. When Midian was oppressing Israel, I sent Gideon to conquer Midian. In Gideon’s desire to hear My heart and voice, he devised a hearing by fleece idea. The result was that if I wet the fleece overnight His answer from Me was that he would have success in delivering Israel. You have heard a specific direction from Me. You have laid out a fleece, asking if I will give the breakthrough you have requested. At a certain time very soon, you will clearly see the fleece wet (I will give you success in this). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Judges 6:37-38 (KJV) “Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.” Ras Robinson
January 12, 2012. I just realized I am sitting here patting my foot waiting for my laptop to load. It is running really slow this morning. Someone told a group at our house this week that Ras and Bev like for things to happen fast. I admit that is the truth. I definitely like fast. But some things don’t happen so fast. I am now seeing something happen, for which I have waited decades. When something about the matter seemed to go the other way than victory, I tried not to become perturbed. I would just repeat my Scripture promise. “Don’t give up!!! Your promise will happen at the right time. My timing is right.”
Luke 11:9-10 (NLT) “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Bev Robinson
January 12, 2012. I encourage you to move beyond yourself for the benefit and betterment of others. People around you are starving for positive reinforcement in their lives. Recognize their accomplishments. Build them up with the positive and kind words they yearn for. Everyone needs cheerful words these days. Proverbs 16:24 says, “Pleasant works are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” The honeycomb is one of the strongest structures I have designed. Strengthen those around you with uplifting speech. Within you I have placed a renewed heart able to minister truth and life. Search for and deliver words of My love to a world deprived of life giving affirmation.
Hebrews 3:13 (NASB) “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called ‘today’, lest anyone of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Kevin Robinson
January 11, 2012. You came closer to Me when you began to offer thanksgiving privately to Me. Then still closer when you became bold enough to offer thanksgiving publicly in church . Remember? That was when you clapped your hands out loud in exuberance as you gave thanksgiving to Me, your Lord God. You walked through My gates which led to My throne room. Pretty soon you went from thanksgiving in the gates to praise while entering My courts. It is in the courts that you want to one day walk through the door of My most holy place, the throne room and most holy altar of God. I have seen you and your pastor both kneel under the altar in high worship. You began this many years ago but now there is one more. I want there to be conclave and assembly at and under My altar. Pray about it. Let’s go for the gold!
Psalm 100:4 (AMP) “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! B e thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name!”
Ephesians 1:19-21 (NASB) “And what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”
Colossians 3:1 (AMP) “IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” Ras Robinson
January 11, 2012. I want you to know something deep down in your soul. I want you to know and never forget how much I love you. Dwell on this unchangeable truth often and without any reservation whatsoever. There was a time in your life that you were not sure of My love or where you stood with Me. Knowing that you are in good standing and that I will never turn you away will absolutely establish and ground your being. I am staying on your case to cause you to remember this truth. There is nothing you can ever do to change My love and care for you. I will love you forever.
Romans 8:38-39 (GW) “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces 39 or powers in the world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation.” Bev Robinson
January 11, 2012. There is good reason to be glad. For a while you have begun to wonder if and when the testing and trials would lessen. The answer is soon. I am truly working things out for your benefit. Though it seems that you have endured enough hardship over what appears to be a long time, it is a relatively short period in the grand scheme. I am building you up, not tearing you down. Though the trouble seems to be endless, it is only temporary. Others have endured and have overcome the evil one just as I did. Put all of your cares in My hands and I will see you through.
1 Peter 5:10 (NASB) “And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” Kevin Robinson
January 10, 2012. You have learned an important lesson about the use of words. Sometimes the best words are those left unspoken at the moment. You have been wise and have won over many opponents through choosing to either never speak some words or to wait for a more perfect time for expression. The Lord says, “I would have you spend more time in prayer before you speak. Additionally, I prefer that you resist speaking quickly and before thinking through a matter and conferring with Me. It is a good thing to not have to be the first one to speak. It would be good for you to embrace maturity and put a governor and restraint on your quick tongue.”
Proverbs 10:19 (NASB) “When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise.” Ras Robinson
January 10. 2012. Right now you are indecisive. You’re not sure what to do. Most times you are decisive and know exactly what to do, but right now that’s not the case. You are indecisive because there is a change coming, and I am teaching you to follow Me closely. Not many are aware that the change is coming, but you sense it in your spirit . I am teaching you to have discernment for now and especially for the times ahead. It is good not to be real decisive now because your direction won’t be set in concrete and you will be ready to act quickly. Stay in tight, following My Spirit.
James 4:13-15 (NASB) “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” Bev Robinson
January 10, 2012. Do you realize you are a dead man walking. Sit back and wrap your mind around that thought. Though you have and are continually dying to sin, you have never been nor will you ever be more alive than you are right now. Your old nature is a thing of the past and has been buried with Me. Will you rise up to be the new person I have made you to be? For some reason you feel obliged to carry the old sinful nature upon your back. T hrough death you have new existence. You are alive and well in and through me. Walk in the freedom you have been given.
Romans 6:10-11 (NASB) “For the death that He died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Kevin Robinson
January 9, 2012. Where I live, the foundations of our houses have to be watered as faithfully as you water your lawn but not as often. Our air is dry and the summer heat can be scorching. We know the value of having and maintaining a good foundation. When we founded our church and ministry, we sought to make sure all things necessary were in place legally, financially and spiritually. During the more than 20 years since we founded it all, we regularly have to check our foundations. The Lord told me to pay close and complete attention to laying a strong and viable biblical and otherwise spiritual foundation for the church and ministry. He said if I would do that, He would bless and increase. Thanks to God He has done both. Check your foundations in all that you do. Are they sure and safe?
Psalm 11:3 (NASB) “If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” Ras Robinson
January 9, 2012. This is a strange place to be. You’ve never been here before. You aren’t sure how you got here, but you are here. You don’t know exactly what to do. Hang tight with Me, because it is now time to show what you are made of. Now is the time to lean absolutely without reservation on Me. I will show you what to do in this strange place. The tighter you come in close to Me, the more familiar you will become with where you are. Soon you’ll know how to navigate and move freely. You will not let the strangeness of this place overcome you. You will get you through this.
Isaiah 43:11-12 (NASB) “I, even I, am the Lord, And there is no savior besides Me. “It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses,” declares the Lord, “And I am God.” Bev Robinson
January 9, 2012. Revelation has come directly to you. Many have tried in vain to see the mystery of heaven. You have not only seen what others have yearned for, but you have heard the mystery of heaven as well. You humbled yourself, acknowledged that I am Lord, repented of wrongs committed, and now revelation knowledge has been given to you. I yearn for you to see greater things that I have in store you. I pray that you can wrap your mind around the fact that greater works shall you do. Allow Me to remove the blinders farther from you. You can and will do all things through Jesus Christ which strengthens you.
Luke 10:21 (NASB) “At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, ‘I praise thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and intelligent and didst reveal them to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well-pleasing in Thy sight’.” Kevin Robinson
January 8, 2012. It’s all supernatural! Would you like to walk as Jesus walked? How about having His same power to do supernatural things like healing, casting out demons, raising the dead, prophesying, etc.? Most Christians do not realize they already have these supernatural powers, given by the Holy Spirit at spiritual birth freely according to God’s grace. Jesus enables you to live a supernatural life and has seated you jointly with Himself in the heavenly sphere because you are in Christ who is the Messiah and the Anointed One. He encourages us to seek the rich and eternal treasures that are above, where Christ is seated with us . You have all this in Christ!
Ephesians 2:6 (AMP) “AND, He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” Colossians 3:1 (AMP) “IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” Ras Robinson
January 8, 2012. You are in a very hard place, going through a very hard time. You are not sure what you should do. You feel unimportant and not cared for. Several things have crossed your mind and you have done a couple things that you felt were right to do, but those have not seemed to work. Now is not the time for activity. Now is the time for prayer. Bind evil and loose goodness. Spend time praying for others who are also in hard places and going through hard times. I care for you and will work this out. Pass up temptations to take this into your own hands. Do not control.
Peter 5:6-9 (NLT) “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.” Bev Robinson
January 8, 2012. There is no pressure. However, it’s what you need to do! When Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” He was not just referring to the pastor, preacher, or evangelist. He was and is referring to you. You are to respond to an active verb. You are to be active in ushering others into My kingdom. Not just leading individuals to Me, but having them follow after you in making disciples of Jesus Christ by your actions and speech. Get beyond yourself and your comforts. It takes action for you to be fruitful and multiply. You are not alone in this endeavor. I am with you.
Acts 1:8 (NASB) “but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Kevin Robinson
January 7, 2012. You will discover no greater truth than this, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” In this statement is your pedigree and destiny. You never need to wonder who you are and why you are here on this earth. Being in Christ, you are not and will never again be at home in the world. You will be uncomfortable when you give in to fleshly behavior because it is no longer who you are. You are a new being, one that has never before been created. You are My creature, My child and heir. I have erased and eradicated your sins, your weaknesses and your temptations and they are no longer part of your new life in Me. All things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Ras Robinson
January 7, 2012. I was told years ago by a prophet that through a true gift of enthusiasm I would forestall many from humanist counsel and keep them from going into depression. The Greek root words of enthusiasm are (enthous – inspired) and (theos – God). So…”Why are you relying on others to tell the things which have so burdened you down? You feel better immediately but later return to where you were. If you tell Me and believe I am the One who can do something about your load, you will get wonderful results. I am the One who knows all the intricacies of what is happening and I can fix it all. Precious, trust in Me!
1 Corinthians 2:11-12 (NLT) “No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” Bev Robinson
January 7, 2011. You are a refreshing individual to be around. When times get tough, people seek you out because they know you will have compassion and understanding. So many people are quick to rush to judgement when others have difficulty or shortcomings. That’s not so with you. I have placed Holy Spirit inside of you and He is the one who allows you to be the comforter. You are as He is. Continue to be obedient to the gentle nudges He gives. You have so much to offer to a hurting world. When needs arise I have equipped you to be the one to restore, renew and revive. You are light and life.
1 Corinthians 16:18 (NASB) “Let all that you do be done in love.” Kevin Robinson
January 6, 2012. Christmas celebration of Christ’s birth was the best ever in our family and church here in Fort Worth, TX. Personally, I worked hard at loving and encouraging these precious ones with whom I am so close. It is saddening to know of families and churches where those closest in relationships refused to show up. Across our nation at Christmas time, there here homicides, suicides and estrangements. We see the good and the bad, the spiritual and the demonic at this special time of year. The Lord says, “Determine to live by the Spirit and not the flesh. Life will be so much better. Watch the joy increase and love abound. I love you.”
Galatians 5:15; 22-23 (NASB) “But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another;”But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” Ras Robinson
January 6, 2012. I see something that is a little hard to describe, I mostly sense it in my spirit. It is a high power electric line. It is sizzling at the end and moving about, not thrashing about but moving about deliberately. Something is getting ready to happen. It is bold and right now in the dark. I do not sense it will remain dark, but darkness will have to be reckoned with. Stand still and do not overreact I will enlighten you more. You do live in two kingdoms at the same time. You live in the kingdom of light, but are surrounded by the kingdom of darkness. Follow the power line.
Psalms 139:10-12 (NASB) “Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me. If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,” Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.” Bev Robinson
January 6, 2012. You have begun to dabble somewhat in mixing the old with the new. In fact you are even trying to play the role of an apothecary. It is foolish behavior to try and combine opposing lifestyles in an attempt to “fit in.” In fact, you are treading in dangerous waters filled with ferocious beings which will devour you. You have been set apart for greater things. Turn your back on the deceitful lures this world had to offer. Set your mind to abstain from youthful lusts. You have a new heart. Don’t defile your heart with things which have shallow and temporary satisfaction. Refrain from mixing concoctions from two diverse worlds.
Colossians 3:2 (NASB) “Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.” Kevin Robinson
January 5, 2012. My servant David was a man of prayer. So much so, that he tells of rising early in the morning to speak with Me so that He could order His day accordingly. For eleven years this Friday, January 6, we have written daily “What the Lord Is Saying Today.” My joy was to rise daily at 4:00 a.m. and seek God for His word. That word was delivered worldwide to almost 24,000 subscribers in over 50 nations by 6:00 a.m. daily whether in America, Canada, Peru, Mexico, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines or any number of other nations. For a brief time, we published a Spanish translation as well. Rejoice in the Lord with us on our 11th anniversary. I will pray for YOU daily before 6:00 a.m. Please pray for us.
Psalm 5:3 (NIV) “In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” Ras Robinson
January 5, 2012. This is a time when you need to be paying special attention. In times past you didn’t want to be too directly involved. Things were talked about that didn’t hold your attention. But now is the time to listen and watch the way things are conducted. You will be called upon to step in and give leadership. You aren’t a natural leader, except when you have to be. But when you must lead you rise to the occasion. Do not worry about this now, because this is a time to learn. A time is coming in the near future when you will be called upon to lead. I am teaching you.
Proverbs 3:1-2 (NASB) “My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments; For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.” Bev Robinson
January 4, 2012. You will one day receive enlightenment with keen discernment beyond your present revelation. I have chosen you to come alongside Me. If you accept, by your own freewill, then I will move in your favor. Your spirit will be illuminated by My Spirit to see the Christ in you. Once you see and understand this, then I will show you the meaning of your being in Christ . First is that upon your belief, Christ is in you. Then you enter into being in Christ. He is the centerpiece of the gospel and essential to the understanding and operation of His church . Being in Christ can be seen as a canopy much like some believe covered all creation with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Would you dare to believe?
Ephesians 1:22-23 (MSG ) “He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.” Ras Robinson
January 4, 2011. Energy has drained for doing most anything. You wish you could drop out of sight for awhile, but some things have to be done. Do them now. Don’t rush into making big decisions. This lethargy will pass in due time. Now is the time to get some things done that require little energy and little thought. Set your mind on auto pilot and get busy doing routines that you don’t have to think about too much. It is time to give your mind and body simplified rest…not complete rest but auto pilot rest… activity without thinking, doing routine things. I will defeat your enemies don’t allow your mind to go there.
Psalms 3:5-6 (NLT) “I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side.” Bev Robinson
January 3, 2012. Have you been sensing a stirring of the Spirit as in the stirring of the mulberry bushes mentioned in the Old Testament or of the stirring of the waters in the healing pool in the days of Jesus? It is almost as if there is a song of repentance being wafted about on the winds of the Spirit. Perhaps the joy of the Lord will blow in upon you like a springtime storm. When people realize that My Spirit is about to move supernaturally to heal lame limbs, open blind eyes, quicken the dead and repair lungs, hearts and other vital organs, they get “stirred up.” Is it okay with you if people get stirred and excited even before the miracles?
John 5:3-4 (NKJV) “In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.” Ras Robinson
January 3, 2011. I promised a land to Abraham and his successors. There were enemies in the land that had to be defeated. Some battles were won and some were lost. The reasons for victories were because my instructions were followed. Likewise the reasons for defeats were because My instructions were not followed. In fact in some instances I wasn’t asked. You too have been given a land. There are also enemies in your land that must be defeated. Specific battles are now before you. Do not focus on what and how others need to win their battles. Focus on your battle. For victory ask Me. How? Listen to what I say and obey Me.
Joshua 6:20 (NASB) “So the people shouted, and priests blew the trumpets; and when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout and the wall fell down flat , so that the people went up into the city, every man straight ahead, and they took the city.” Bev Robinson
January 3, 2011. It is time to let the past go behind you. For too long you have harbored hurt, pain and unforgiveness. You have and are still allowing somewhat silly and senseless events to dictate your emotions, actions and thought patterns. Would you, could you decide to not allow the past to affect your present? The things you see as negative are hindering your progress. Allow Holy Spirit to work and have His way with you. Learn from the past. I have allowed certain things to take place to refine you and bring you to where you are at this very moment. Make peace with the past and walk in My peace from here forward.
Philippians 3:13-14 (NASB) “Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Kevin Robinson
January 2, 2012. The stage is set for perhaps a dramatic and climatic year in 2012. Wars will continue to be waged and increased. More surprise weapons of mass destruction will be revealed and deployed. I the Lord God am in all these things working My will and My pleasure over time and circumstances. Understand it is all supernatural. My ways are not your ways. I am doing a major thing before your eyes. Pay attention and pray with all your might. I am not an unresponsive graven image nor am I a created being. Rather, My nature is to respond to those who pray. Join Me in the heavenlies through prayer in waging this end time furious war for the souls of man. My purposes are not those of man. Mine are to do good and not to harm those I love. And I love you!
Psalm 2:2-6 (NASB) “The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us! He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, but as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” Ras Robinson
January 2, 2012. I had a dream last night that someone was unprepared in packing and unprepared in speaking. This lack was causing a lot of anxiety. I just got back off a trip and am not planning another any time soon. I have plenty of time to prepare for my next teaching. I believe this is about someone else. “Don’t wait until the last minute. You have done that before and found yourself in a time crunch. This causes you great anxiety and affects other things in your life. Turn all of this over to Me. Start thinking immediately what you will need to get everything done My way and in My time.”
Psalms 37:3-6 (NASB) “Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light And your judgement as the noonday.” Bev Robinson
January 1, 2012. At dawn, I was accessing a program on my computer and noticed an interruption, a revolving circle spinning. My computer was syncing or synchronizing with other programs to best achieve the intended result. The Lord says, “You have been going in circles this past year, making no progress in what I have intended. In this new year, 2012, I will lead you in new ways. When I tell you to “Go north,” I mean to find My perfect will for your life this new year and then give yourself to completely synchronizing all areas of your life in pinpoint obedience to My will. You will be glad that you did this when it comes to the end of 2012. My goal is for you and Me to be tightly synced together this year.
Deuteronomy 2:2-3 (MSG) “Then GOD said, ‘You’ve been going around in circles in these hills long enough; go north.'” Ras Robinson
January 1, 2012. You feel like you are not as well read, you don’t know as much, you don’t add as much and can’t keep up in conversation with the group. Some in the group are trying to outdo the others. Don’t try that, but allow this to motivate you into gathering more knowledge and understanding of the things that interest you. The most important thing is knowing and applying My Word. You are too focused on what you don’t know rather than what you do. You have much to add. You have a good personality. Accept yourself as you are. Don’t worry about what you don’t know, but also do something about it.
Corinthians 10:12 (NASB) 2″For we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.” Bev Robinson
January 1, 2012. It is time for a big dose of tender loving care. Have you taken note of how calloused you can be at times? Try and look at situations you are involved in from outside of the box. How would you feel if someone treated you the way you treat those around you? Would you be more attentive? Would you give the same snide remarks or look with disdain upon others? Everyone makes a mistake now and then. Be more supportive of others instead of being condescending. Stop being so self righteous in regard to the way you handle your interpersonal relationships. Wear the fruit of the Spirit called kindness.
Ephesians 4:32 (NASB) “And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” Kevin Robinson
