What the Lord is Saying Today – December 2011
December 31, 2011. Watching a movie tonight starring Tom Selleck as a cop in the fictional town of Paradise, we saw some homicides take place. The suspected killer was portrayed as a young gay man with bitter jealousy. Being interested in discernment, I paid particular attention to the suspect. He lied over and over again. Somehow I noticed his pronounced long nose. He kept lying to the police. In the end, he committed suicide. I noticed his nose seeming longer than before. I thought of Pinocchio. The Lord says, “Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Your fellowship with the Lord must produce in you truth speaking. Let your reputation be that of an honest person who at times even swears to your own hurt.
(Some have asked for the name of the guitarist I mentioned yesterday. His name is Dave Beegle )
1 John 1:6 (NLT) “So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.” Ras Robinson
December 31, 2011. You were moving toward a goal and when you got there it was not what you thought it was. It really caused disappointment because you had counted on what was to come. You have a choice now. You can give up and not try again or you can give yourself a rest. You know it’s best to do the latter. You can make a more reasoned and prayed through decision then. Wait awhile because right now you are too emotional to make a good decision. Let Me fully bear your disappointment. Don’t rehearse it too often. Don’t linger in disappointment or you will miss the good which is on its way.
Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV) “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” Bev Robinson
December 30, 2011. Yesterday, I discovered perhaps the greatest guitarist of our time. On YouTube I’ve enjoyed many of his performances and am mightily impressed and enlightened in my music understanding. Joy has flooded the music regions of my soul. I heard the Lord speak, “Do you recall when you did not know there was a real Holy Spirit? You were told about Me and sometimes people mentioned the name of Jesus. But when you were born again, Holy Spirit was not mentioned. Therefore, as you read the Scriptures as a young man, you never paid much attention to Holy Spirit. Neither did your church.” Later, after college, marriage and two children, I was introduced to what Scripture clearly teaches about the important role of Holy Spirit. Joy everlasting and grace overflowing are now my companions. Do you know Holy Spirit? On January 1, 2012, I start teaching Ephesians and about Holy Spirit. (See below)
Acts 19:1-3 (NASB) “It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples. He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into John’s baptism.” Ras Robinson
December 30, 2011. If you had known all the plans I had for you, you would say, “No way!” Yes they are that good. I had these plans before you were born. I know it is up to you to make good choices, and most have been good. You got off track at times but you also got back on track when you came to your senses. My plans for you have not changed. They are still very good. Continue making good choices day by day…like today. Make that good choice, and keep your mind on the good. Gratitude is very important. It causes your body to stay healthy and you to move upward.
Philippians 3:13-14 (AMP) “I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.” Bev Robinson
December 29, 2011. Someone close to you has suddenly become harsh and verbally combative. The puzzling thing is that all things were going so very well. There was something they wanted and needed badly and you gave it to them. What quickly happened was like a quick, dark and heavy storm manifested. The Lord says, “Actually, you have handled this well so far in going out of your way to find a solution and make adjustments. Now I will promise you that this season will pass and things will take a turn for the better. Be patient. Be kind and loving. Love covers a multitude of sins on both your parts. Be wise and learn from this. See how much stronger you both become.
Genesis 18:14 (AMP) “Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son.” Ras Robinson
December 29, 2011. You have an uphill challenge before you. You have let it ride for awhile and in reality you have slipped downhill. Now is time to stop the slide. If you don’t get hold of self-control, you are headed for a real problem. I know to others it doesn’t look so bad but you have been here before and you know without a doubt you will keep going down. I am with you, but you need to ask Me to help. You need to acknowledge Me and acknowledge that without Me you can do nothing. We can do this together very effectively. You will get and stay on the right track upward.
John 15:4-5 (NKJV) “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” Bev Robinson
December 28, 2011. I am blessed by your thankful heart. Like parents giving gifts to their loved ones, friends and others, I receive great benefits by giving. But there is something special that happens when those receiving are generous in their thanks. Show your thankful heart to Me today. Be lifted up by placing your mind on things above. Those things would include, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Before these things can manifest and remain, there must be consistency over time, which means you must put to death thoughts and deeds of the flesh. The Lord says, “Give Me your mind and spirit and I will do wonders in your body. I will cause you to shine like Jesus.”
Galatians 5:22-24 (NASB) “But the fruit of the Spirit; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Ras Robinson
December 28, 2011. I love this time of year as I begin thinking about the harvest the Lord wants for me next year? We lived on a farm in Tennessee when our children were young teenagers. Every year at this time we would begin thinking of what we wanted in our garden next year? What would be good to plant, watch grow and then harvest? “What do you want next year? Tell Me. I have good seeds and good soil in which to plant. I have a good harvest ahead for you. Believe, listen and do what you hear. You will look back and remember when you started thinking this way. It will come about.
Matthew 13:23 (AMP) “As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.” Bev Robinson
December 28, 2011. You have begun to worry again about how certain provisions are going to be attained. Though it seems there will be a significant delay in the way I answer your prayer requests, I have the bigger picture in mind. I am in the process of making matters work to your benefit. Don’t focus on the demand, but rather put your emphasis on the supplier. Keep your eyes focused on Me and not on the situation. Though the answers to problems you were dealing with did not get resolved on your time schedule, I am in control of those issues. I am giving you provision much like I did for Abraham.
James 1:2-4 (NASB) “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” Kevin Robinson
December 27, 2011. Be encouraged today. Christmas is over and the New Year is upon us. The Lord says, “Celebrate the good and spit out the bad. The grain is always better than the husk. Think on the good, believe the good, speak the good and do good things. You gave to people in need. That blessed Me to see. You are generous to the poor, the widow and the orphan. That which you give will never be wasteful because it fulfills My will and I always bless that. Never give for the purpose of being seen. There is in it no reward. But oh my, what multiplied favor comes in seasons like this when your heart is tender to give.
Acts 20:1-2 (GW) “When the uproar was over, Paul sent for the disciples, encouraged them, said goodbye, and left for Macedonia. He went through that region and spoke many words of encouragement to the people.” Ras Robinson
December 27, 2011. There are 18 of us in our immediate family. Ras and I are the oldest and Heidi our youngest is not even crawling yet. We celebrated Christmas Day in church and in our home. We had a joyful time loving, giving, receiving, being loud and interactive around the table. Each of us has experienced problems…some huge problems, but we see each other through. “I have made provision for your family to be more than conquerors. Healthy families don’t just happen. Seek Me for wisdom. Speak well of one another. Encourage one another. Believe the best in each other. Always speak the truth in love. Forgive when wronged. Pray for each other.”
Romans 8:35-37 (AMP) “Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.” Bev Robinson
December 26, 2011. Developing character is what My truth will produce in you. There is no truth in the earth or heaven like My truth. It will set you free and place your feet solidly on the path that leads to fullness of life eternal. It is like the new synthetic oil in a new car engine. It decreases friction, increases gas mileage, engine performance and a longer productive life of your car. Pray to be led in the ways, path and truth of the Lord. Great will be your blessings with many rewards in this life. The practical outcome is a life filled with the character God gives. It will not be easy. But I will be with you.
Romans 5:4 (NLT) “And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.” Ras Robinson
December 26, 2011. Something completely unexpected was revealed. When you were told at first you thought this is a rare occurance. Then as you heard more you saw it was not rare at all. In fact it had happened quite a few times. That brought a sickening response in the pit of your stomach. What needs to be done? Others are involved and futures are on the line. If you get caught up in fear or anger you will not be able to hear Me. I know exactly how to handle this. I love all involved and I know and I am the answer. I will give you wisdom as you go. Follow closely.
James 3:17 (AMP) “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity)” Bev Robinson
December 25, 2011. You have placed importance on traditions and celebrations that honor Me and are consistent with your faith. You have been faithful to reference Christian values when you have opportunity. This is good because you have avoided opportunities to engage in worldly pursuits during these seasons. My blessings have been poured out upon you in this season as you celebrate the birth of Jesus. Keep the excitement and commitment uppermost to Christ and the center of all the celebrations. Teach your offspring the deep riches I have placed in your heart. Leave a spiritual inheritance to transform the world. The Lord says, “Come let us adore Him, Jesus the King of all Kings.”
Psalm 25:14 (MSG) ” God-friendship is for God-worshipers; They are the ones he confides in.” Ras Robinson
December 25, 2011. Through many years and in many ways you have had a blanket thrown over you that often, wherever you are and whatever you do, causes you to feel small and insignificant. This has evolved until now you are not sure you even want to try to reach your dreams. Do not let this attitude remain. Your enemy the devil has been defeated. I made an open public show of his failures. He whispers lies over and over to keep you beaten down. I had plans for you before you were born. They were formed even from the beginnings of eternity and need to grow and bear fruit. You will be amazed.
Micah 5:2 (NASB) “But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.” Bev Robinson
December 22, 2011. During the buzz that encapsulates the busy Christmas holidays, have you taken the time to reflect upon the seasons true meaning? Have you become enamored with who gets what gift? How much money should you spend on a particular gift? Have you become somewhat frustrated with all the commotion and clamor leading up to the special holiday? The Lord says, “Relax, unwind, and find your rest in Me. Take time to enjoy peace that I bring. Slow down to enjoy children with their laughter, and their excited expectancy of Christmas. I came to bring peace, love and joy. Relish Me in all My glory. I came as a gift. Receive Me.”
Psalm 62:8 (NASB) “Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” Kevin Robinson
December 24, 2011. As a young man I made some bad mistakes and sinned against my God. The result of those sins was devastating . In desperation, I called out to God even in anger and remorse. My heart was broken. Suddenly, I saw the grace of God in an open vision resulting in something like liquid love being poured over me, body, soul and spirit. That same day, I was called by God to tell people around the world that no matter what happens to you, God’s love will see you through in love and restoration. Last night I had opportunity to offer that same grace and love to a young man who also had sinned in his youth. He was wondering how God could redeem his situation. He said he believed I was the one to seek about his situation. Love never fails.
Romans 8:28 (KJV) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Ras Robinson
December 24, 2011. Rejoice in the truth that I made you free. It was for freedom that I made you free. But be careful that you do not overestimate your freedom to act completely on your own. If freedom to you means doing your own thing any time and any way and any place you want, it is headed in the wrong direction. Rejoice in the truth of freedom. But rejoice in the truth that you can use your freedom serving one another. In the long run this is what will bring you happiness and pleasure in fulfilling your purpose. I never made you to be an island. I made you to share.
Galatians 5:13-14 (AMP) “For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.” Bev Robinson
December 23, 2011. “Does my grace surprise you?”, the Lord asks us. Last night, I had a flat tire on an Interstate highway frontage road. Being alone, I stopped and prayed, asking for wisdom. Somehow I had not recorded the telephone number of our roadside service people. I called home for help to no avail. Within minutes after raising my car hood, a young man stopped and offered his help to install my spare tire. In moments, another man stopped who was a RV repair service with all tools that could possibly be needed. The first young man finished and I coerced him to take some money for his efforts. I thanked and blessed the second gentleman and he drove away. I sat alone again in my car thanking God for his angels in disguise whom I believe He sent because of His grace towards me.
Hebrews 1:14 (AMP) “Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” Ras Robinson
December 23, 2011. Soon you will see others who have needed to hear from you. The devil has been putting thoughts in their minds which are not good for any of you. Your thoughts about them haven’t changed but they need to know that, because their thoughts about you have changed. Relationships to be good and healthy need to be maintained or they will soon falter. These relationships are good, meaningful and important to all of you. Now reach out and cultivate the ground around each one of you. This is good soil, and also this is the season of giving. You are the one to give. Now is the time to restore relationships.
Luke 8:7-8 (AMP) “And other [seed] fell in the midst of the thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it [off]. And some seed fell into good soil, and grew up and yielded a crop a hundred times [as great]. As He said these things, He called out, He who has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him consider and understand by hearing!” Bev Robinson
December 22, 2011. You are a brave warrior. I have seldom seen you shrink back from a legitimate fight where righteousness is at stake. Those times you appeared to have shrunk back were actually times when you had sought My wisdom and I said for you to give the fight to Me. You did just that, at the risk of those closest to you as well as those from afar would tend to see you as weak and cowering away. Now you look back and see that you grew stronger by relinquishing the fight to Me. I have promised to fight your fights for you because your enemy is My enemy. To the extent that you have learned this lesson and will yield to Me, I can have confidence of placing you in positions of greater responsibilities in My Kingdom. You are a brave and trusted warrior.
2 Chronicles 14:7-8 (MSG) “Asa said to his people, “While we have the chance and the land is quiet, let’s build a solid defense system, fortifying our cities with walls, towers, gates, and bars. We have this peaceful land because we sought GOD; he has given us rest from all troubles.” So they built and enjoyed prosperity. Asa had an army of 300,000 Judeans, equipped with shields and spears, and another 280,000 Benjaminites who were shield bearers and archers. They were all courageous warriors.” Ras Robinson
December 22, 2011. I saw you at the time you received the promise from My Word and knew the pain in your heart. You were feeling the deep pain of disappointing circumstances. There have been times since then when you feared if the promise was true or was it just a strong desire in your heart for coming blessings. You have sometimes seen events go completely in the opposite direction of the promise. But deep in your heart you haven’t given up. There are at this exact time people obeying and circumstances being worked out to bring about My promise. There is a fullness of time when the promise brings about My purpose.
Galatians 4:4-7 “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.” Bev Robinson
December 21, 2011. Your eyes are being opened wider. More of My light of revelation is coming to you. I have noticed your increasing freedom in acknowledging what I am supernaturally doing. Miracles are manifesting daily all around you. But in the past, you have not been able to see them. You have noticed an increase in knowledge and understanding of life itself. I say to you, “I have opened the door wide for your eyes to see. Beyond this, I have activated angels to reveal themselves to you more and more. Look and you will see. Do not be afraid. Instead, rejoice that you have been chosen to come up higher. Sit right here beside Me.”
Luke 14:10 (KJV) ” But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.” Ras Robinson
December 21, 2011. Around the world Christmas time is usually a time of feasting, as many celebrate the birth of the Savior for the whole world. But there are many who do not have the means to feast. Remember your brothers and sisters all over the world. Lift them in prayer to Me for a special blessing. Feasting is good. I have put within you a desire to celebrate, but do not let your joyful celebrating get out of control. Everything is lawful for you but not everything is profitable. Keep your mind on Me, precious one, and why I came to earth. I came to bring you a blessed life and abundant peace.
1 Corinthians 6:12-13 (NASB) “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.” Bev Robinson
December 20, 2011. God has given to me many sons, including one natural born son Kevin. He delights my soul as he moves through life. Certain ones have said of Kevin that he is the most righteous man they know. He has stayed the course and is running the race well. Starting next year, Kevin will begin writing prophetically with his mother and me. God has been preparing him for 50 years. It is his jubilee year! The Lord says, “Be faithful, kind and true in dealing with your children and with your extended family and friends. It will pay generous dividends in blessings, prosperity and their impact on society. You can count on this.”
Proverbs 20:7 (AMP) “The righteous man walks in his integrity; blessed (happy, fortunate, enviable) are his children after him.” Ras Robinson
December 20, 2011. Lately you have been waiting until the last minute to get done what you know must be done, and now you have done it again. Take care because this is about to become a habit. You don’t want this, because it will not be beneficial to you in any way. Remember your desire in simplifying your life and clarifying your goals? This kind of activity doesn’t help do that in the least bit. You know you should start earlier in making your plans. But you actually have to do it for this to work. Procrastination is not your friend. If you don’t stop it will soon cause a major tie up.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (HCSB) “There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven:” Bev Robinson
December 19, 2011. You have done well indeed in this life. It is good that you have allowed My laws to teach you and bring you to salvation. This was your beginning with God your maker. You have since received the grace of My new covenant and all the grace that goes with it. I am pleased with the way in which you embrace My instructions for your life. Your heart stays full of thanksgiving and joy. I can see My grace and truth shining from your eyes. Your face is a witness of My anointing upon you. Light shines forth from your inner being. People around you are drawn to Me. Rejoice with Me as I rejoice over you.
Psalm 19:8 (KJV) “The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Ras Robinson
December 19, 2011. My grandchildren have teased me about the way I fish when I take them fishing in the boat. When a fish bites my lure, I set the hook so hard they think I am about to topple out of the boat. On one fishing trip Rebekah got behind me. I set the hook so hard and with such force I knocked her out of the boat and the reel out of her hand. I told her to grab the reel and not let it sink. She can swim like a fish. “No matter what is going on around you. Keep your mind from sinking by setting it hard on things above.”
Colossians 3:1-3 (NKJV) “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Bev Robinson
December 16, 2011. Transformation can be simple or complex. You can yield to Me immediately and taste the rewards of obedience, or you can choose to delay the blessings I have for you. It’s your choice. I will not impose My will upon you. However, I love you enough to allow you to repeat the same mistakes again and again until you yield to Me. Have you stopped and taken the time to realize you are circling the mountain for the umpteenth time? The times, settings and situations have been altered a bit. These are My attempts to remind you once again of a better way. Allow Me to transform you.
Romans 12:2 (NASB) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Kevin Robinson
December 18, 2011. Our gracious host pastor and his wife took us through probably the most spectacularly Christmas decorated parts of their city we have ever seen. At one intersection of streets, there were three police patrol cars with emergency lights flashing. Many police officers were directing traffic much like an emergency of some kind. On the busiest streets, people were out of their cars delighting in the lighted decorations. During all this, the radio in the truck we were in was playing the most incredible Christian music I have ever heard. In high spirits we rejoiced and praised Jesus that this is the time of year we choose to celebrate His birth. The Lord says, “Be in high spirits and glory before Him!”
Psalm 68:4 (AMP) “Sing to God, sing praises to His name, cast up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts-His name is the Lord-be in high spirits and glory before Him!” Ras Robinson
December 18, 2011. There is no need to fear. You will see. If you walk in fear you will waste much energy that you can be using. If you give into the temptation to walk in excessive fear you will look back and see that there was no need. If you have to fear…fear Me. Fearing Me causes you to stand in awe of Who I AM and What I do. Work with Me to turn your temptation to fear into resolve to stand strong. I do not nor will I ever punish you for My pleasure. I only discipline you for your good and to make you stronger in future times of adversity.
Isaiah 41:10 (AMP) “Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.” Bev Robinson
December 17, 2011. Guarding and keeping unity with a fellow Christian is ultimately important. While doing so, there is at times a necessity to speak the truth in love at the risk of stirring up angst. It could be like walking a very tight rope stretched across a river full of alligators. Two important essentials must be present. The first is keeping connection with Christ as the head of the body and following His lead. Let Him lead and direct. The second is a willful dying to one’s self in utmost humility. As you do this, pray for and receive resurrection power for keeping this precious unity. Call upon the Holy Spirit for wisdom and strength.
Ephesians 4:3 (AMP) “Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace.” Ephesians 4:15-16 (KJV) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Ras Robinson
December 17, 2011. Relationship and events are going well, and will increasingly go even better. And then minute thoughts will enter your mind that soon all of this goodness will start going downhill and come to a screeching halt. This is not the first time this has happened. Look back… remember it has happened more than once. The reason is because it happened many times when you were young. It wasn’t your fault. It was because other relationships deteriorated around you. You can stop this from happening. Bind each thought and cast it away as it comes to mind. Then listen to Me, following My instruction closely in how you’re to walk into victory.
Matthew 16:19 (NASB) “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Bev Robinson
December 16, 2011. Your children are a profound blessing to you and Me. I share in your pride and joy over them. When your grandchildren were born, nothing could have seemed more wonderful. Again, I rejoiced with you as each was born. Now you have three great grandsons and one great granddaughter! Heaven has smiled on you and has shared in your joyous laughter. Your whole family belongs to Me as part of My family of believers whom I call saints. I delight in these godly ones whom I see as excellent, noble and glorious. You cannot imagine my delight except that you feel the same way about your own offspring. Let us both rejoice evermore!
Psalm 16:3 (AMP) “As for the godly (the saints) who are in the land, they are the excellent, the noble, and the glorious, in whom is all my delight.” Ras Robinson
December 16, 2011. There are some things going on in your life that you do not understand. Some understanding of this will be revealed later. I am always doing what is best for you, even while you are thinking it is not good. I know it is hard to trust that good is coming. I walked on earth and saw and understood life and trials from your point of view. I know the depth of every fear and doubt you have, because I have been where you are. I have known desertion, but My Father… our Father… knew what was best. He did not forsake Me and He will not forsake you. Receive My peace.
John 14:27 (NASB) “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” Bev Robinson
December 16 2011. Keep your mind focused. Remain persistent. You are firmly established and grounded in Me. Let nothing and no one dissuade you from My truth. Keep your eyes fixed on Me. There are many things clamoring for your attention and time. Glitzy lights and loud captivating noises are all around you attempting to lure you away from Me. Remain steadfast in your pursuit of Me. Many will demand much of you. Others have and will continue to offer fame and fortune attempting to lure you away from Me. I know the road before you can be an uphill climb. My rewards far outweigh any possible payout this world has to offer you.
2 Thessalonians 3:5 (NASB) “And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.” Kevin Robinson
December 15, 2011. Someone apologized for being overly confident and too forthright in ministry. When the Holy Spirit is leading, there is never need for apology. He exalts Jesus and seeks to glorify Him. He does that quietly and seldom with fanfare. This is a season to come forth. Step into the light of My glory and claim your rightful place in My Kingdom. I have made you and prepared you for these last days. Claim your inheritance of reigning with Me now and later. All My promises to you are yes and amen. I am for you so who could be against you. Stretch out and stretch forth to embrace your royal possessions.
Galatians 5:16,18,25 (NASB) “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.” “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. ” “If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.” Ras Robinson
December 15, 2011. Do not be afraid to risk or venture out. Once you start you will be able to see more clearly what to do. You don’t have to know all the facts before you start. I will show you as you go. If you wait until you know everything to start, that will not be exercising any faith at all. I know your fears and your hopes. You just need to make the commitment. Trusting Me is part of the venture. I am not like some of the ones who have left you high and dry in the past. I will never leave you or forsake you. I am here for you.
Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” Bev Robinson
December 14, 2011. I am seeing in the Spirit a spiritual daughter being loved and accepted in a tangible way by her spiritual father. When pure love is allowed to flow with acceptance and affirmation, there is nothing better. Lives are changed forever much like re-setting or re-starting a computer. Many times this needs to be repeated often, always in a meaningful and holy way. This is available to each of God’s children, those who believe in and follow after Him. Today, He says, “Sit close to Me and allow me to re-set and re-start where needed. Allow Me to commune with you on a very personal, one-to-one connection. All is well in the Father’s house.”
Song of Songs 2:10 (NLT ) “My lover said to me, “Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my fair one!” Ras Robinson
December 14, 2011. I want you considering this. Are you using your time wisely? I see you doing things out of order. The things on which you are spending time are not the most important things. You have something coming up soon that requires your best effort and will cause much joy if you do it with excellence. Time you are spending on less important things is far more disproportional to the time you are spending on the more important things. I will never force you, but I will help you be a success. I am warning you ahead of time to keep you from a time crunch which will result in unnecessary anxiety.
Psalms 37:3-5 (NASB) “Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.” Bev Robinson
December 13, 2011. Be prepared for a joy uprising. Life has not been a bed of roses lately. Disappointments and challenges have popped up everywhere it seems. This is not what you have desired. But I tell you to release the joy that is within you. Recall to yourself how the Lord lives within your heart. Quote to yourself and out loud, “The joy of the Lord is my strength!” This a statement of fact, whether you feel like it or not. The joy that will give you daily strength is not your own joy but rather, it is the joy of the Lord. Therefore, release the brakes. Slip into an expression of His joy. Rejoice!
Acts 13:52 (NASB) ” And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” Ras Robinson
December 13, 2011. Not having enough money can cause big problems, but also having or spending too much can cause even greater problems. Buying or being involved in things that are not for your best interest will cause much anxiety. Guard against greed. I supply what you need and some of what you want. You ask Me for more when you don’t have enough, but you don’t come to Me for wisdom as readily when you have more than meets your needs. Moderation is the key. You understand My principle that when you give you will be given to, but also spend wisely what you have. Greed, abundance and prosperity are not the same.
Luke 12:15 (NLT) “Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” Bev Robinson
December 12, 2011. I grew up of humble means. Our family farm never sustained us. But I noticed that our neighbors and most of our family and extended family had a couple of traits and practices I wanted to acquire. They used good and positive words about life. They worked smart and hard. All seemed to be prospering and have good families. When I converted to Christianity at age 12, I saw these same traits and practices touted in the Scriptures. Furthermore, I saw them demonstrated in the person of Christ. My pastor, who led me to Christ, told me God would give me a destiny and purpose in life. He said to me Jesus would cause me to become somebody special. I believed that meant prospering and having a good family. The Lord says, “Let Me give you words of life and prosperous hands. Have I not done these things for you? I will do it for others who ask of Me.”
Proverbs 12:14 (NASB) “A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, and the deeds of a man’s hands will return to him.” Ras Robinson
December 12, 2011. I didn’t think the Bible was true when I was a teenager, but later it became the guide Book of my life. It has been the one book that literally changed my life. I began reading it for personal instruction when I was in my thirties. I would read a portion daily and ask, “Father, what does this mean to me personally in my circumstances?” Then, “What am I to do now?” When I heard Him and obeyed, I saw enormous changes. “Make a commitment to read My Word. Ask Me what you are to do with what you read. Watch your life come up to a higher place.”
Psalms 119:105 (KJV) “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Bev Robinson
December 11, 2011. You can trust Me in relationships. You have never had nor will you ever have a friend like Me. Being friendly is a sure way to gain friends but sometimes I see you holding back. It is as if you must be in the lead position with a new acquaintance or you cannot befriend. Consider your heart about this and ask why. There is no need for a competitive spirit. The truth is that you are a loving and trusting person. You freely reach out to people with humility. It is wise to screen new people and to ask if I am giving them to be friends. If you will make some adjustments in your humility, I will draw more and more quality people to you. I will do this because you have so much to offer. You treat Me like a friend. Do likewise with others.
Proverbs 18:24 (NKJV) “A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Ras Robinson
December 11, 2011. You have committed to try again, but you have just a little bit of doubt in your mind that this new beginning will work. Almost immediately when you made the decision to try again the doubt came. You haven’t said anything to anyone about it. This is good. Don’t entertain the doubt and don’t say anything about it. Your enemy brought it up quickly and if you entertain it, he will pounce on you with more doubts and more circumstances that will head your mind toward failure. This new beginning is good. I have sent it. Keep trusting… obeying Me at each step, success will come, and you will be overjoyed.
1 Peter 5:8-10 (MSG) “Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ-eternal and glorious plans they are!-will have you put together and on your feet for good.” Bev Robinson
December 10, 2011. I notice that you are greatly stirred when you remember that Jesus spoke these words from His hometown of Nazareth: “And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, a prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household. And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:56-58 (NASB) The things Jesus did that was disturbing these people was teaching with unusual wisdom and sharing about the miracles He had been doing. You are wise in the Scriptures and living the life of Jesus on the earth. You have seen and want to see many miraculous things happening. This takes much faith. It is surging within you.
Matthew 13:54 (NASB) “He came to His hometown and began teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” Ras Robinson
December 10, 2011. I love Christmas time. There is beautiful music… bright glistening colors… treats to cook and eat… gifts to give and receive. Let’s not forget our main purpose is to celebrate the birth of Jesus our Savior and Lord. Family birthdays are a very big event with us. The one whose birthday we are celebrating sits at the head of the table and each of us takes turns telling what we like about the birthday boy or girl. December 25 Jesus will be at the head of our table, hearing what we like about Him. “Precious one you enjoy hearing good things said about you so do I. Tell Me some. ”
Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Bev Robinson
December 9, 2011. One thing I like about you is that you freely and frequently praise My name. Over the years, you have become so aware of My wonders and creation. You see that truly the earth is still void except for what I have created and given. Nothing is but that which comes from Me. Your eyes and ears long for more and more opportunities to find My great treasures in everything great and small. The sky today was incredibly clear and the sun shone bright to mediate the sustained cold weather. Birds that fly, winds that blow and whisper, all the earth is daily speaking of how I show My splendor. I love it that you are so sensitive and aware. You bring Me such joy! I love you.
Psalm 9:1-2 (NASB) “I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders. I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.” Ras Robinson
December 9, 2011. Fears of what may be ahead have slowly crept into your mind. You have been thinking, “God, if you don’t come through I and others are going down big time!” Dismiss those thoughts immediately. It is okay to think things through so you will not be caught unprepared, but when that is accomplished, take the remaining thoughts captive or they will multiply your fears. That will then raise doubts and fears of trusting Me enough for you not to obey when I give the wisdom of what to do. Give yourself completely over to Me. Yes I will come through. You will see solutions in ways you have not thought of.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Bev Robinson
December 9, 2011. You have built up a fortress around yourself. In an attempt to shield your delicate heart and emotions, you have constructed an elaborate wall of defense for the things you hold dear. In doing so, you have created a false sense of security and you’ve become vulnerable to Satan’s attacks upon your life. These emotional walls you have built have shielded you from the support and safety which I have to offer you. Though I have never left you, I have been unable to protect you in all of My full capacity. Put your faith, trust, and reliance in Me. Allow Me to surround and shield you by My mighty hand.
Psalm 91:4 (NASB) “He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.” Kevin Robinson
December 8, 2011. Could this be your time? You ask, “How could this grace possibly be happening to me and us?” My wife and I were discussing over lunch today how God’s hand of favour has always been with us even in hard times. Yet it is a great mystery as to God’s timing. The Greek word for it in the verse below is kairos. It means the time or season of God’s own choosing. We do not know why God made the choice to so bless us, but we just know our hearts are still and forever overflowing with thanksgiving. We offer no explanation except this — we love God with all our hearts, minds and strength. May our words of praise forever resound in Heaven and earth!
Romans 11:5 (NASB) “In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.” Ras Robinson
December 8, 2011. There is a principle in physics which if followed will benefit us greatly… “The deeper you go the more power you have.” For example TNT (trinitrotoluene) which is a combination of chemical atoms has much much power. But the atom bomb and the neutron bomb which has exponentially much greater power because it is deep within the atom, splitting the atom and releasing massive power. “Give much consideration to how deep is the experience you spend with Me. I have the most power of any and everything in the universe. Precious one I will show you with wisdom how to use My power in defeating the enemy or with any problem you face.
Luke 10:19-20 (NASB) “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” Bev Robinson
December 7, 2011. The secret for overcoming attacks from the enemy is to call upon the Overcomer Himself who abides with you. The Spirit of God lives within you to exalt Jesus and to do so many other things. He will teach, lead and guide into the ways and path of the Lord. There are times when you know not which way to turn. At other times you cannot accurately assess the attack or the attacker. This is when you humble yourself and consider yourself of no account compared to Who is abiding within you. This Abider is not passive, timid or weak. He is altogether sufficient to win every battle and He gives you perfect strategy and tools for the battle. He will never leave you.
2 Chronicles 20:17 (AMP) “You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord [Who is] with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” Ras Robinson
December 7, 2011. An opportunity is coming very soon. You will have a choice. I have been preparing you and drawing you. But you are the one who will make the decision to participate. I am purifying a stream. This stream has been here for a long time, but now elements are coming together that will glorify Me in a way you have not yet seen. You will ask, “can this be true?” It is going to stretch way beyond your mind. You won’t understand it all. But don’t worry. Don’t touch it with any thought or hand of flesh. Stay in the Spirit and you will see things you have longed to see.
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 (NASB) “but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;” Bev Robinson
December 6, 2011. I have noticed lately that you are worrying more. This is unusual behavior for you. You are not one to worry, but that seems to be changing. Are you unsure of My faithfulness to you? Do you doubt that I care? Come close and let us commune together. We can just talk about the things on your heart no matter how large or small. All that you do or think about is important to Me. Sharing about such things is a larger part of what loving fellowship is about. I enjoy being with you more than you enjoy being with Me. Let us return to those days and nights when we shared together about everything. I have missed those times.
Matthew 6:34 (NASB) “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Ras Robinson
December 6, 2011. Someone said something that was somewhat critical, not in a big way but definitely was intended for correction. It was very direct and with love, but it also hurt you. You had wondered if your actions were causing a problem, but someone bringing it up was a surprise. This is not the first time something like this has been said. What makes it important is who said it…an authority. Now what do you do? Run away? You need to work on correcting your behavior. What was said was for your good. You will need to make this correction somewhere. This place is where you are loved, accepted and appreciated. Correct it here.
Proverbs 10:17-19 (NASB) “He is on the path of life who heeds instruction, But he who ignores reproof goes astray. He who conceals hatred has lying lips, And he who spreads slander is a fool. When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise.” Bev Robinson
December 5, 2011. You can expect future persecution for your faith. There is an attack coming to humble you. Be of good courage and do not become disillusioned. Satan hates what you represent for Christ. To be sure, you have taken a stand from which you cannot be moved. This gives Me pleasure to see you develop as an overcoming warrior. You will find other attacks coming that will test your mettle. All this is making you stronger and wiser. Rejoice in the Lord now and forevermore. You are daily finding the high ground from which to battle your enemies. The high ground always gives you the advantage. You never fight alone. Be joyful.
Acts 5:42 (NASB) ” And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.” Ras Robinson
December 5, 2011. The thoughts which have come to your mind lately are many and varied. Two in particular have set up camp. “God where are you?” And “Have you forgotten me?” Even though you don’t see Me at work in your life, I am. Way down in your heart there’s a spark and you know I care. My Spirit will soon blow His breath on that spark. Get beyond your own needs and begin speaking blessings to others. You will be amazed at what happens in their lives and also in yours. I have not forgotten you. I have said so in My Word and My Spirit has sealed it in your heart.
Ephesians 4:29-30 (NASB) “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Bev Robinson
December 5, 2011. Do you realize My pursuit of you is endless? My desire is for you to come to realization of how much I love you. For some reason you feel unworthy to receive My all encompassing compassion. When you repented of your sins, and asked for Jesus to cleanse you of all unrighteousness, I did. You then asked Jesus to become your Lord and Savior. I did that, also. The fact is, My desire for you did not all of the sudden come to a halt. I am longing to have an intimate relationship with you on a daily basis. Will you trust Me with all your cares and concerns?
Psalm 145:18-19 (NASB) “The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.” Kevin Robinson
December 4, 2011. A spiritual daughter tells of an encounter with Jesus in an open meadow in a nearby national park on a sunny day. She had spent a few days at an adjoining Christian retreat center. There she had been seeking more intimacy with God. During a prayer time she had an open vision in which she was walking on a park trail. As she came to the meadow, she saw in the vision a man several yards away, dressed nicely and with a countenance and a look in His eyes that identified Him to her as being Jesus. After coming close, He lay down in the grass, spreading both arms wide. She felt He wanted her to come lay on His arm and felt very comfortable and peaceful in doing so. It changed her life. The Lord says, you can find Me. Only seek Me and I can be found.
Psalm 4:8 (NIV) “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Ras Robinson
December 4, 2011. There are so many things ahead of you to do and you are having a hard time settling down. You need to start soon or you will be in trouble later as you run out of time. Record what absolutely must be done and add to it what would be beneficial to get done. Then list the things that would be nice to get done. This now has your priorities listed and in order. Now let’s deal with those nervous butterflies in your stomach. Breathe out your anxieties and breathe in My Spirit. This will give you rest and peace in Me. Channel those butterflies into productive energy. I am sending some help.
Habakkuk 2:2 “Then the Lord answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run.” Bev Robinson
December 3, 2011. God is working miracles for His sheep. You dared asking, “Do you need a miracle.” Be bold to ask. Watch carefully what happens. The Lord says, “I have been following from behind. Now I will lead you into greater pastures of blessings for My name’s sake. You have found favor. You have allowed Me to break your heart over My children and their great and unbearable needs. I shall now lead you from the front. Follow close after Me. You have not seen nor can you imagine all that I have prepared for you. Forbid not the little children coming unto Me. Rescue and hold close the widow, the orphan, the downcast, the poor and poorest of the poor. This finds even more favor because My own heart stays broken in love as yours is now.
John 15:10 (AMP) “If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love.” Ras Robinson
December 3, 2011. It is an absolute fact you know something needs to happen. At one time you had doubts, and now that is completely settled. When and how it is to be done are your only remaining questions. I have already answered the first question. At one time you were not sure about that. You asked Me over and over. The answer came through revelation. Now you know. You are absolutely sure. Celebrate that as progress on your part. Celebrate big because that is the most important decision to make. That decision will color all the rest of your life…now we can move onto the when and how. I will reveal that also.
Luke 11:9-10 (AMP) “So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened.” Bev Robinson
December 2, 2011. My wife told me this morning one of my personality and character traits is that I am a patient man. In my younger years, I doubt she would have said that. If this be true then I need to focus more on what I consider in me a weakness which is waiting patiently. Patience and waiting should be connected to the glory of God. The Lord says, “I have seen the way you keep yourself in self-control and calm during times when others complain and express their pain. In doing this, I am aware that you are preparing yourself for the time you will reign with Me in My Kingdom. More and more you are embracing the quality of waiting while keeping yourself ready and expecting. You are willing to await your orders from Me. This gains My favor.
Jude 1:21 (AMP) “Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)-[which will bring you] unto life eternal.” Ras Robinson
December 2, 2011. It’s time for a new beginning. The new way is really ancient, but a new chance to begin again. The question remains, will you make the most of it or slip back into some of your old ways? You’ve already made a slip, but as quickly as you thought of it…you stopped. This is good. This is very good. Now let this be a reminder of how quickly you can get off the new track. While you are fresh in this new track, pay close attention to Me. Ask Me what to do next. Don’t worry about how many times you ask. Asking causes us to have a special close relationship.
1 John 2:7 (NASB) “Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard.” Bev Robinson
December 1, 2011. There is urgency in prayer today like no time I can remember. People are writing to us in great number from around the world requesting prayer. We pray over every request and will have our entire leadership team pray over these requests on December 9. Many, many reports have now been received about answers to requested prayers we prayed over on November 11. The Lord says, “Read the scriptures below. Pray for others and send your own requests to us at ineedamiracle@fullnessnetwork.net . Pray over your requests and then on December 9 bring them before our total physical gathering and before the webcast audience to over 20 nations and at least 48 states. Consider the impact of such prayer. Assemble together for prayer.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17-22 (NLT) “Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. Do not scoff at prophecies, but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.” Ras Robinson
December 1, 2011. The future doesn’t appear real promising. You are on the verge of being overwhelmed and are not sure what to do about it. You aren’t over the top yet but are really close. If you keep going the direction in which you are headed, and the speed at which you are going, you are going to be in trouble. But don’t give up. I am saying this now because you will soon hit a wall unless you change. Stay in tight with Me for perseverance. You need to do first what absolutely must be done. Check the rest of what must be done. Do the next most important things.
Romans 5:3-5 (NASB) “And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Bev Robinson
