What the Lord is Saying Today – October 2011
October 31, 2011. What will your last words be as you exit life on earth? I read today that Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple, spoke these last words as he made his exit from life: “Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow.” Nothing about his life ever indicated his conversion to Christianity. We can only guess what Jobs might have seen or be experiencing at the moment of his passing. My prayer has always been that when that time comes for me that I will be strong, and filled with courage and hope. It has never been anything that I dread. Rather, when God calls me home, I expect to see Jesus and the light of His glory welcoming me. I hope you are ready when God calls you home.
Psalm 31:24 (NASB) “Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.” Ras Robinson.
October 31, 2011. Someone is going through difficult times. You are sitting by and watching this. I know it is hard, but do not interfere. I am the one who has them in this place. It is of their making, but where they are now is My follow through. Your interference will sabotage what I am doing in their life. There are some things that need to line up with My ways. I have a great plan for their future, something that has been on the docket since before they were born. The difficult times they are going through are a result of some poor decisions they made, but good will come from it.
Romans 8:28-29 (NIV) “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.” Bev Robinson
October 30, 2011. Yield now. After all is said and done, the best thing for you to do is yield. I am your Lord and Savior, knowing all things and seeing all things. Why wait to exhaust all your possibilities as you understand them. Surely my knowledge and wisdom is higher than you. Even the demons call Me Lord. But you, sometimes you act as if you know and understand all things, including the future. You do not know the future. Only I have that eternal view of what is to come. I may give you a glimpse from time to time. But you need My full revelation. Yield now and good will come to you.
Job 22:21 (NASB) “Yield now and be at peace with Him; Thereby good will come to you.” Ras Robinson.
October 30, 2011. Now is a good time to get things in order. You have a lot of things floating in your mind that you believe need to be done. This brain chatter is going on in the back of your mind all the time. Record this chatter and prioritize the tasks you need to do. When you see what you have recorded you will be able to jettison the things that will not last. This will enable you to think clearly the most efficient way to get others done, and you won’t feel so busy. I know you are busy and that is a good thing because you are busy about My business.
1 Corinthians 3:11-13 (NLT) “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have-Jesus Christ. Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials-gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. But on the judgement day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.” Bev Robinson,
October 29, 2011. May I give you a personal prophecy today? Because you have believed in the fullness of the Spirit and the fullness of Christ, I now acknowledge to you that you are of the stream called Pishon. Pishon and the River Gihon mentioned in Genesis, probably were canals connecting the Tigris and Eurpharates mighty rivers. Pishon was especially known for its high quality gold, pearls and onyx stone. My prophecy for you is that you will “connect” with your ancient roots of prosperity. It was given you as recorded in Genesis. Pishon and Gihon were located near Ur, the birthplace your father in the faith Abraham. Your inheritance is now released to you. Take it, record and process it, and steward it with your life, says the Lord.
Genesis 2:10-12 (AMP ) “Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four [river] heads.” The first is named Pishon; it is the one flowing around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. he gold of that land is of high quality; bdellium (pearl?) and onyx stone are there.” Ras Robinson.
October 29, 2011. I just walked into McDonalds to write and send the word for the day. While I was setting up my laptop I overheard one young man witnessing to another young man who was physically impaired, walking with a cane because of an accident when he was 16 years old. The young man whose name is Keenan gave his heart the Lord. That warmed my heart to tears and I committed to pray for Keenan. “Watch and listen for those who need Me. There are many who walk around who may not be physically impaired, but who are spiritually impaired and need someone to help them find Me, My comfort and love.”
1 Timothy 6:18-19 (NASB) ” Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works , to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.” Bev Robinson
October 28, 2011. This is for a very special person. You are having difficulty living with some of the constant change going on about you. Some change is tolerable though not desirable. But change has become like a steady and relentless rain For YOU I have a special impartation today, if you can receive it. It has to do with My peace. You see, I have searched my vast resources and have found for you the gift for a lifetime . It will become functional the moment you turn it on and it will be like a river that never runs dry. My peace I give unto you. Not the peace the world has to offer but rather, the peace that is everlasting.
Hebrews 13:20-21 (NLT) “Now may the God of peace- who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood- may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.” Ras Robinson.
October 28, 2011. I dreamed two people were sitting outside. One looked up and a lion had suddenly appeared. They looked again there was another, and then another. “Do not let fear increasingly overtake you. I am the Lion of Judah. I am the King of the hill. I have called you to come up to where I am to stand by Me. Let no fear remove you from your rightful place. This fear has as its sole purpose to move you off your position with Me. Don’t let it. This fear along with others are there to try and cause you to fail. Stand firm and trust in Me and they will disappear.”
Job 4:9-10 (AMP) “By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of His anger they are consumed. The roaring of the lion and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions are broken.” Bev Robinson
October 27, 2011. There is something wonderful coming your way. It may be that you will be fearful at first because this wonderful thing is like a dream come true. This will lead you to humble yourself before Me and ask for help. I will respond and will lead you through all the obstacles. Stay close My chosen one. You have no idea how proud I am of you. Your whole future is in My hands. I am committed to protecting you against all harm and all enemies. There will never be a time when you will be abandoned. My grace toward you is eternal. Dare to walk the clouds with Me and rise above and beyond. There are good things coming your way.
Psalm 26:6-8 (NIV) “I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, O LORD, proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. I love the house where you live, O LORD, the place where your glory dwells. Ras Robinson.
October 27, 2011. Now is the time to make a change. You have been entertaining this for quite awhile. But now is the time. It will be different at first. There will be some opposition. Brace yourself for the challenge but lay back in Me. I know all about opposition and I will take care of you during this time if you will rest in Me. This is a warning: Don’t go back to the way it was. After you get over the hump of the initial resistance there will continue to be some resistance, but it will eventually decline and those who oppose will see the value of change. I am with you.
Hebrews 4:6-7 (NASB) “He again fixes a certain day, “Today,” saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, “Today if you hear his voice, Do not harden your hearts.” Bev Robinson
October 26, 2011. Being in order is important. I have established My principles upon the order I have ordained for all My creation. My eternal plan and order for Jesus was to serve as the High Priest of the better covenant. With this provision, I also provided for an unbroken chain of blessings to flow to those who honor and follow after Him. I say today to you: “Come into the better covenant of love and grace. Enter the rest I have provided for you. I invite you to come up here where I am and dine with Me. We will commune and communicate one with the other. You have submitted and now I pour out even more grace and mercy because you are in order with Me.”
Hebrews 6:19-20 (NKJV) “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Ras Robinson
October 26, 2011. Did you forget what you were doing? Yes, you got so involved in something else you did forget. Get back on track. Get back in your groove. Don’t let other things crowd out what you are directed to do on a regular basis. I know the other things are important. I know they too must be done. But don’t forget the main thing I have called you to do. It’s alright. Just stop the other things for awhile. Bring them to a halt and seek Me immediately. I have in store what you’re to draw from. I know you know that. I have the wisdom and words you need.
Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV) “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Bev Robinson
October 25, 2011. Can you believe me for the big, the awesome, the miracles of healing and restoration? Will you in this hour run the risk for totally depending on Me to do what I say I will do? And will you do this both privately and to the masses? I say to you today, “I am calling you forth! You will step out beyond the safety of the plank, the edge, and the normal things. And if you will do this, I will bring others who are well equipped to minister in this same power and anointing. Together with the anointed team I am raising up, you will see My hand move from head to head, from heart to heart like the flitting of a bird from tree to tree. Trust Me now and see if I will do it. Your household believes and trusts God with your finances. Trust Me with this in the same way.
Malachi 3:10 (NIV ) “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” Ras Robinson
October 25, 2011. Some are being treated unfairly. It grieves your heart because you know most all involved. You are not sure what to do. You don’t like seeing innocent people hurt. All aren’t innocent. I know in minute detail about everyone. I know of things you will never know. Don’t try and find out. You don’t want to know all the details. Some involved will learn how to help other people because of what they are now going through. I am raising some up to places of responsibility that if you knew now you would be astounded. I have great plans for these lives. Your assignment is to go to war on their behalf.
Matthew 16:19 (NASB) “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Bev Robinson
October 24, 2011. You are beginning some things anew. Already you are into the new things and love it. Yet the scripture says these new things are really not new but have been Christ’s teachings inside of you from the beginning. You are giving of yourself in outward love towards people as you once did. This is a good thing. It is right because the new commandment of Christ is that we love one another. The Lord says, “My child, this is a good thing. You are sensing that I am working with you in this and good fruit is already manifesting. I am so proud of you. Your rewards will be very great indeed for there are those who so need My love through you.
1 John 2:7-8 (NKJV) “Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.” Ras Robinson
October 24, 2011. As best you could you have given advice. You believe you heard what I wanted and you said so. Now don’t continue to try and talk those into doing what you said. Leave it with them. Yes I know you are not sure they will take your advice, and you believe it is the best for them to do. But if you continue to hint and push and cajole, it will hinder your relationship. Allow them the courtesy and freedom now for them to hear and make their own decision. Yes I know you aren’t sure they will make the right decision, but leave it between them and Me.
James 3:17-18 (NASB) “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable , full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” Bev Robinson
October 23, 2011. Last night we returned home to where the climate is temperate or mild and not excessive or extreme. Most of our week was in much delightfully cooler weather for this time of year. Climate may have to do with latitude, inclination or temperatures but there is more to it than that. I have noticed that when our home is filled with peace and pleasantness, it does not matter so much about the external climate. After a stressful afternoon this week, I became irritable and unpleasant. The climate changed inside our family. Being convicted, I apologized to my wife. She smiled broadly in an understanding way and forgave me. Now the whole climate here is smiley. God’s word works miracles when put into action.
Romans 12:2 (NIV) “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will. ” Ras Robinson
October 23, 2011. New thoughts and systems of thoughts have entered your mind. These came slowly but also very purposefully. You were seeking but seeking from the wrong source. You didn’t realize it was from the wrong source. You didn’t think the source to be bad. You see it now, and now is the time to stop and get back to filling your mind with My Word and ways. You forget at times you have an enemy, Satan, and he works any way he can to turn you away from the Truth. My Truth. I am the only Truth. There are other paths and other ways but there is really only One Truth.
John 14:6 (NLT) “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” Bev Robinson
October 21, 2011. The deceiver and schemer the devil will be tempting and playing with your mind. His purpose is to take you away from My will in your life. He will send a needless hindrance. You must be alert and wary . There is absolutely no room for fear or dread. Keep your mind focused on your mission. Remember and recount the many blessings I have arranged for you. Choose to be thankful and full of grace towards all I put into your presence. Your thoughts and attitudes must remain in tune with My Spirit. He will lead and guide you in all things if you but let Him. Stay in prayer and intercession for My will to be done.
Ephesians 4:23-24 (NLT) “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God-truly righteous and holy.” Ras Robinson
October 21, 2011. I watched, over the internet for the first time, our daughter Robin teach her weekly Bible study. It was a classic teaching dealing with disappointments. Robin wove fresh disappointing experiences into an illustration with what she had already prepared in teaching on the commands of Jesus. I have always believed the Scripture that says teachers incur a stricter judgement (James 1:3) also means teachers incur many hard experiences enabling them to have more realism in their teaching. One of the things people have often said to me and our family when we teach is, “You guys are so real.” The Lord says, “Rely on Me to overcome disappointments and you will teach others to do so.”
James 3:1 (MSG) “Don’t be in any rush to become a teacher, my friends. Teaching is highly responsible work. Teachers are held to the strictest standards.” Bev Robinson
October 20, 2011. My nature as the God of love is to bless those whom I love, as well as My enemies. The intent of every word from My mouth is ultimately intended to bless and not curse. All is ultimately fulfilled in one simple thing — love. I have great and mighty things to reveal, things you do not know and could not know. My mysteries must be revealed by My Spirit. When they are revealed, those mysteries change everything. I made the earth, formed it and established it. I made and fashioned man and breathed My life and Spirit into him. I gave him the ability to bless and to be a blessing like no other part of My creation. Now to you I say, love above all things and bless those I love, as well as My enemies.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 (NASB) “Thus says the LORD who made the earth, the LORD who formed it to establish it, the LORD is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'” Ras Robinson
October 20, 2011. A word of encouragement will be greatly welcomed and deeply received. You are thinking, “Here I go. I have done the same thing again, the very thing I hate. Will I ever have victory?” My child, I’m here to say emphatically. YES YOU WILL! Get your vessel completely cleansed through godly sorrow which leads to real repentance… a complete turnaround. Forgive again the one from whom you learned. You made a deep judgement. Forgiving yourself is very important. Sometimes it is easier to forgive someone else. I forgive you both. I have cancelled the sins of you both. You are in a place where people love you. It’s time for victory.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NLT) “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.” Bev Robinson
October 19, 2011. Someone went through the motions of being led to the Lord in salvation. Conception never took place even though confession of Christ did occur. The person was focusing on pleasing the one who was presenting Christ instead of on Christ Himself. Therefore, no faith was manifested because the person never believed in his heart. Since then it has been discerned that possibly a false salvation occurred. Now, there needs to be a loving approach to that person with plenty of explanation of the need to believe in the heart before confession is made. A true salvation will occur. Perhaps you know such a one? Have you had a genuine salvation experience and therefore know Christ as your own personal savior?
Romans 10:8-10 (NLT) “In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” Ras Robinson
October 19, 2011. There is no one who can address something going on right now like you can. No other one has the exact perspective that you have. You can see both sides. I know you are praying about how to handle this. I see the pain you go through. But I have also seen you place that pain over on Me. I saw you go sound asleep the other night after praying. This is a good thing My child. When you pray and leave it with Me, I then have free access and a clear channel to you. Your emotions, reasoning, and spirit are clear to hear Me. This will turn out well.
Psalms 37:5-6 (NLT) “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.” Bev Robinson
October 18, 2011. You have been faithful over the long haul. Nothing has been able to stop you. There have been good times and bad. You have sensed your endurance and stamina increasing over the years. But now you wonder if you can endure the hard times you see coming. Your faith is strong but you are physically and mentally tired. This is adversely affecting your relationship with the Lord. The Lord says, “Every word of Mine is tested. My disciples at the beginning of my earthly ministry were all tested. All but one was martyred. Some will forever be remembered because of their refusal to give up no matter the circumstance. Dig down deep and search out your commitment to My call to you again. Stand tall, straighten your back . Set your face and your mind on your cross. We have work to do.” Ras Robinson
October 18, 2011. You’re losing sleep over things which are swirling in your mind, skipping from one event to the next without completing your thoughts. You feel your mind is a big ball of string all jumbled and tangled. I know what you are thinking, but there is no need for anyone else to know right now. Wait to speak until you are thinking clearly. It will help to write things down. This brings the hidden things out of darkness into light. Then you can think them through to the end. I will give you peaceful wisdom. It is then when you will be able to speak the truth in love with no condemnation.
James 3:17 (AMP) “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).” Bev Robinson
October 17, 2011. You can choose to be joyful. A man in our church seems to have mastered the discipline of being joyful regardless of his circumstances. In most everything he finds joy. He chooses to be joyful. His cheerfulness is contagious. Sometimes it irritates me because I doubt that his joy is genuine. Then I get convicted of judging him. What I have found is that it is easier to be joyful than to endure the pain of a broken spirit. The Lord says, “The decision is yours. I say to you, practice being joyful and spread it to all those around you. In so doing, you will be sowing seeds for your own health and theirs. Laugh intentionally, whether you feel like it or not. Oh, be joyful.”
Proverbs 17:22 (NLT) “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” Ras Robinson
October 17, 2011. You sense someone is upset. You aren’t sure if it is at you or just upset that things have not worked out in the way they wanted. What you need to do now is not worry about this. Don’t show your concern to the one who is upset. In fact don’t reveal your concern to anyone. Or this will cause misunderstandings that will take a long time to straighten out. Keep your thoughts and words between just you and Me. You sought Me about what to do and have done it. Take thoughts captive and leave this with Me. Get your attention on other things that need to be done.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NASB) “We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,” Bev Robinson
October 16, 2011. If we ever stood firm, this is a good time. I am standing firm with a person so important to me. This is a mission pastor whose grandson was born with a hole in his heart. At nine years old and without surgery he is expected to live to be about 18. With surgery, he can expect to live to age 50 or more. Even with free surgery and hospital costs, the remaining costs are beyond reach for this pastor. My immediate response was to sacrifice all and help. And then I thought there might be others who want to stand firm on this one with me. We stand ready to do it all if necessary. Will you pray and stand with me?
1 Peter 5:9 (NLT) “Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.” Ras Robinson
October 16, 2011. You have expressed yourself about the decision to be made and believe you have done the right thing, but there remains a little bit of doubt you heard Me. You don’t want to do anything to impede My will. Be at peace. Because of what you have said you will not have regret that you did everything you could do. Now don’t revisit your decision or you will get double minded and that will impede progress not only in you but the one you spoke to. I am teaching you both. Leave it alone and watch and learn. Neither of you will stop My will. I am teaching you both.
James 1:5-8 (NASB) “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double -minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Bev Robinson
October 15, 2011. You are hereby invited to come up higher to the spiritual places prepared for you. I have designed you for higher living. This is why you sometimes struggle so much in day to day activities. The earth is a season you are passing through. It is not your home. You are performing in an environment hostile to your nature. You have been changed forever. I took your heart of stone and gave you instead a new heart that beats in rhythm with Mine. Your mind has for the most part been transformed into new thought life. I have direct moment by moment access to your heart and mind. Together, My will be done and you will be blessed with it all.
Revelation 4:1-2 (NIV) “After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.” Ras Robinson
October 15, 2011. I know you have had some fear. I have had My thoughts fixed on you and My eyes watching you. Yes, you have been front and center of My mind. I know you are going through a hard time. You have felt alone and not known exactly what is going on. You haven’t told anyone how alone you have felt, for fear they would not understand. You aren’t alone and I will never leave you alone. You are precious to Me. You have not heard the word precious very often describe yourself. I want you to tuck “precious” away deep in your mind and bring it to remembrance when the need occurs.
Psalms 139:16-17 (AMP) “Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them. How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Bev Robinson
October 14, 2011. You can do this. All things are possible for him who believes. For a person to be born again, he becomes as nothing, repenting before God and coming as a little child. Jesus said, “Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” In your heart, you humble yourself as small as a thread which can pass through the eye of a needle. But how? “And looking at them Jesus said to them, ‘With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'” Today, the Lord says, “Face that impossible thing I have invited you by word, dream, vision or whatever to do. It is totally possible. Do it.”
Matthew 19:24, 26 (NASB) “Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God. And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Ras Robinson
October 14, 2011. The starting of something is more exciting than the completion of it. You enjoy the plans that come to mind. This is because it is the way I have gifted you. I put the structure in you to look ahead and plan. It fits you as the saying goes like a glove. Planning is something that you are comfortable doing and it is also something which brings you comfort. You are now entering a time when it is time to end something…a time to shut it down. End this with as much grace and as well as when you started. Do not leave anything undone. Burn no bridges behind you.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 (ESV) “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Bev Robinson
October 13, 2011. I see someone who believes that humility is weakness. You will seldom give in and bow your head in submission. Society, your culture and the world have taught you well. But I say to you excessive self-esteem is pride misused, leading to a great fall. Be careful to not allow this kind of pride to be your guide in this life. It has no place in My kingdom. Instead, I want you to have a healthy sense of the worth I have given you. Let your sense of worth be expressed in confidence and boldness in the Lord. Quarrels and contentions are the playground of prideful hearts. Do not participate. Let humility be your strength.
Proverbs 13:10 (NIV) “Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.” Ras Robinson
October 13, 2011. Something new has come up on the screen of your mind. You have something that needs to change. You stay with something for awhile and then you begin looking for something else when discouragement comes. You think you need a change. No it is you who needs to change. You need to stay with what you are doing and work through the discouragement. Yes from time to time change needs to occur but it is I who needs to initiate the change not you. If you change too early you will just have to work through discouragement at another place. Stay where you are until the change by Me is evident.
Acts 16:9-10 (MSG) “That night Paul had a dream: A Macedonian stood on the far shore and called across the sea, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” The dream gave Paul his map. We went to work at once getting things ready to cross over to Macedonia. All the pieces had come together. We knew now for sure that God had called us to preach the good news to the Europeans.” Bev Robinson
October 12, 2011. Oh how precious you are to Me. I formed and fashioned you with My words and hands exactly like I wanted you to be. From that time to this, you have been My chosen and special one. My full delight is in you. Before you were born again of My Spirit, you were in the world and in bondage to it. But on eagles’ wings I brought you into the light of freedom and sonship forever. I have made you to be a priest before Me forever, going in and out of My presence as it was in the beginning. Now you are a priest in My kingdom of holiness. Your whole nature has become one with Mine.
Exodus 19:4-6 (NKJV) “‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” Ras Robinson
October 12, 2011. This is a good time to get some things done that you have been putting off. You think this will take a lot of time and that is one of the reasons you have put them off. If you stop and do them at the first opportune break you will be surprised at how fast it goes. They aren’t big things in the scope of life but they are things which will make your life much easier. You have been seeing them for a long time, knowing they need to be done. I have times and seasons set aside for you, and this is the right time for these things.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT) “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Bev Robinson
October 11, 2011. Better than you expected? My family is very sports oriented. We think, talk and live it as part our lifestyle. Using text messages on my phone, I have discovered a whole new level of staying in touch with my family. God sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost to enhance His involvement and communication with His children. The Holy Spirit is not only an enabler, He is an enhancer as well. You have found a very, very important pillar of God’s kingdom when you give the Holy Spirit free reign in your heart and life. One of the main enhancements He brings to you is that of revelation of God’s mysteries and truth. If you allow, He will lead you into all good things and while doing so will defend you against all enemies. Better than you expected?
1 Corinthians 2:11-12 (NLT) “No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. Ras Robinson
October 11, 2011. There is something you will get to do that you have never done before. You aren’t sure you can do this or even if you want to do it. There is apprehension in your mind and heart. You didn’t know it was yours to do. It has come as somewhat a surprise, but I am not surprised. It has been My plan for you since before you were born. Relax when it comes. You will instinctively know what to do and how to do it. Once you get into doing it you will see. This will be seen by others, and will help them as they see it has helped you.
Luke 6:38 (NKJV) “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Bev Robinson
October 10, 2011. When angry, it is said that if you will count to 10 before you say a word, you will avoid hurts and offenses. It has taken me almost a lifetime to tame my tongue and place it under God’s control. There are still occasions when I say things before I think about it, much less count to 10. But God knows my heart and judges me not. The Lord says, “Be careful and diligent to keep a bridle on your tongue to measure carefully every word. Concentrate instead on peaceful, edifying, encouraging and comforting words. I saw you today speaking words of life both publicly and on an individual basis.”
Proverbs 10:19-20 (NIV) “When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value.” Ras Robinson
October 10, 2011. Something new to ask for has occurred to you. You know something about how it works because you have heard others talk and teach about it. But until now the doing of it has eluded you. It is something you want that no one else knows about. Don’t reveal it now. Let this be something between you and Me. Don’t say anything to anyone else. It will be so special to you when you begin receiving it. It will increase our relationship a hundred fold. Our relationship is already great. But we are talking about walking with Me in a way you have only dreamed of. I am ready are you?
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NASB) “but just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard , And which have not entered the heart of man , All that God has prepared for those who love Him.” For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.” Bev Robinson
October 9, 2011. Music is like life blood. Music does not care about who produces its sounds. Lyrics add or take away, but music is music. With my devotion to good music, I have it in every room of our house, my car and office. When outside these venues, I am usually whistling or humming some tune. It ministers deeply to my body, soul and spirit. The Lord says, “Music has been with Me from the beginning. Satan contaminates music for those who follow him. But I am the one who directs the harps, lyres and other stringed instruments, percussion and myriads of sounds devoted to My glory. My music, in sound and lyrics, comes like warm sunshine. It floats on the winds. It soars in the throats of birds in the skies. Drink deeply while absorbing My goodness in music.”
Psalm 9:2 (NASB) “I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.” Ras Robinson
October 9, 2011. Recently our church had a powerful time of intercession for a pastor in Iran. This young pastor accepted Christ as a teenager. He has now been sentenced to death, because he will not renounce Christianity and return to Islam. Sharing about Christ in any way is against the Iranian law. If caught there is a death sentence assured. “Any nation, church or person who stands by My people will be blessed. My people are the Jews but My people are also those who believe and trust My Son Jesus is the Messiah. Christians around the world are being persecuted. You are in the kingdom for such a time as this.”
Esther 4:14 (NASB) “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?”
Ephesians 6:18-19 (NASB) “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,” Bev Robinson
October 8, 2011. These are exciting days for you. They are exciting because you can tell that you are making spiritual progress. Many times you have struggled in how best to face the difficult problems being presented to you. Your mind has been trained to think one way but My word teaches you that My way is better for you. It is the key to My blessings. Locked in My word is the beautiful destiny I have stored up for you. First of all, you can make Me Lord of your life – your family, your finances, your relationships, your work and ministry, everything. Next, yield to the Holy Spirit as He transforms your mind and life. You are going to love this.
1 Corinthians 2:10-13 (GW) “God has revealed those things to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, especially the deep things of God. After all, who knows everything about a person except that person’s own spirit? In the same way, no one has known everything about God except God’s Spirit. Now, we didn’t receive the spirit that belongs to the world. Instead, we received the Spirit who comes from God so that we could know the things which God has freely given us. We don’t speak about these things using teachings that are based on intellectual arguments like people do. Instead, we use the Spirit’s teachings. We explain spiritual things to those who have the Spirit.” Ras Robinson
October 8, 2011. There is something you have forgotten to do that was beneficial to you and also to others. When it came to your mind, it almost made you sick to your stomach. But there is also something else you forgot. You have forgotten that you have an enemy that wants you to forget the good things and remember the failures. He will do anything to keep you from remembering the good and forgetting the bad. If you are going to remain angry with someone let it be him. Forgive yourself quickly. Get your mind off him and get back to doing what I first told you, and you will be a success.
Joshua 1:8-9 (NLT) “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Bev Robinson
October 7, 2011. Get back on the road again. Set out for your destined destination. You have waited long enough. The time is soon coming and it will be known as “your time.” It is good that you have spent this time in preparation without really knowing or understanding your future. Your loyalty and faith have been foundation pillars to bring you to this point. Sometimes in following Me, you must follow blindly. Hope is your friend in times like you are in today. Don’t waste your time hoping in man. Place all your hopes in Me alone and you will never be disappointed. Your Jerusalem will be different than you expect. Your Jerusalem is the will of God. Faint not and you will get there. Get back on the road again.
Mark 10:32 (MSG) “Back on the road, they set out for Jerusalem. Jesus had a head start on them, and they were following, puzzled and not just a little afraid. He took the Twelve and began again to go over what to expect next.” Ras Robinson
October 7, 2011. I have told you things to do. But you are seeking Me again. You have set aside what I first said because busyness and lack of commitment have crowded it out. Go back to what I said first. Write down what I said and stay with that plan of action. I have not changed My mind. You have changed your mind. You will not reach the destination you have desired for a long time. You keep getting off course. What I have said is not too hard for you to do, but it takes commitment and staying on the right course. This plan will get you where you want to be.
Revelation 2:4-5 (MSG) ” But you walked away from your first love-why? What’s going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you’ve fallen? A Lucifer fall!” Bev Robinson
October 6, 2011. I have found the one. He was there all the time, but hidden behind a fence. He was prone on the ground. Suddenly, but over an extended period of time, he awakened and stood up straight. He looked me straight in the eye and spoke his heart. He laid bare his intentions, desires and requests. After some startled reaction, we waited until the time was right. Sure enough, the Holy Spirit told me what to say, in what circumstance and under the anointing of God. The challenge was issued. The invitation was given. And now the Lord is leading in building a sure, steady and everlasting foundation. Having found the one, keep trusting and live in pinpoint obedience.
2 Timothy 2:2 (AMP) “And the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also.” Ras Robinson
October 6, 2011. There are so many things to do circling persistently in your mind. You don’t know where to start… some have an immediate priority… some need to be done soon… some need to be done sometime. The problem is the “sometime” list is the one that is most attractive and easiest to do. Immediate priority things seem the hardest to tackle. But do them first with some easy things sprinkled in. Record all that is in your mind. This will get your schedule in perspective. You know to do this. This is simple everyday living, but remember, if you let your self-control slide in small ways this gradually overtakes more important things.
Galatians 5:22-25 (NLT) “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” Bev Robinson
October 5, 2011. It is time to take full possession of your inheritance. Stop waiting outside the door. Those doors have been fully opened to you for a long, long time. All those in authority know your name. They celebrate with Me the fact that you have arrived at this time to receive what is rightfully, legally, exclusively and morally yours. Great rejoicing is already beginning with selected sandals, ring and preparation of the fatted calf for a great feast. This is the beginning of the season of My feasts you know! So, come on in and begin to explore all I have kept stored up for you. Try to imagine the joy that is mine at such a time as this. You are my son in whom I am well pleased. Let us rejoice together.
Luke 15:22-24 (NASB) “But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.” Ras Robinson
October 5, 2011. Our daughter Robin is bringing three excellent messages on the highest Jewish Feasts with simplicity and understanding. The first message was on Rosh Hashanah which inaugurates Ten Days of Awe meaning 10 days are set aside for repentance. The next message was on Yon Kippur this Friday October 7, 2011. These feasts are actually foretelling the coming Messiah Jesus. The early Church observed these feasts until anti-Semitism halted them in the fourth century. I know we are under grace rather than law and are to repent daily. Nevertheless if you have some nagging sins which miss your mark, this is a good time for confession and some serious repentance. Join me.
Leviticus 16:30-31 (NASB) “for it is on this day that atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before the Lord.”It is to be a sabbath of solemn rest for you, that you may humble your souls; it is a permanent statute.” Bev Robinson
October 4, 2011. Do you ever wonder if God switched babies at your birth? More than once, I have asked God, “Do you know this is me? I don’t deserve the outpoured blessings you send. You are the King of Kings and I am less than a commoner by birth. It has been difficult to step into being who You say I am and to act with the gifting and power You gave me. I know it is so because you are not a God who can lie. Forgive me for not coming into agreement with You. I am sorry I too often fall back into being the “less than a commoner” mentality while knowing all along that you want me to act like the King’s kid.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (AMP) “For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].” Ras Robinson
October 4, 2011. There is someone who needs help. This one has been pulling away from you and those who can help, because they don’t really think help is possible. You have been aware of this but you don’t know exactly what to say. You feel like if you come on too direct there will be more pulling away. They have gone through a real disappointment and it has put them back where they once were, and that is a very precarious place emotionally. You have been debating whether or not to go. But your help is needed. They believe in you. I know you will lead them to Me. Go after this one.
Exodus 4:12 (GW) “Now go, and I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Bev Robinson
October 3, 2011. The land of milk and honey is before you. You crossed the river with relative ease as God parted the waters for you. There is great fruit and bounty as you move forward. Behold, giants have appeared and must be acknowledged as a severe threat. Trusting in Me will assure you victory over these giants one by one. All is good, even the presence of giants and other obstacles. Overcoming will be your key to survival and abundant harvests. By faith you will find the trail of others who have gone before you. You will leave your own trail for those yet to follow you. Enjoy the milk and honey. This new land is yours now. Explore and possess it.
Genesis 28:4 (NASB) “May He also give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your descendants with you, that you may possess the land of your sojournings, which God gave to Abraham.” Ras Robinson
October 3, 2011. Don’t count the chickens before they hatch is a saying you’ve heard since you were a child. But this is hard to do when you want something so badly. Wait until you have more information before you make a commitment. All the facts have not come to the surface. They are there but not much is known about some things that are yet to be uncovered. Wait! There will be time to decide. Listen to Me rather than the circumstances or you are going to make a mistake that you will have to reverse later. I know this is hard, but this will turn out well if you wait on Me.
Job 36:2-3 (AMP) “Bear with me and wait a little longer, and I will show you, for I have something still to say on God’s behalf. I will bring my knowledge from afar and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.” Bev Robinson
October 2, 2011. Someone who is reading this word is suffering. This suffering is not like any you have experienced. It is as if it came as an opportunity to grow in obedience. But you might say, “This makes no sense to me.” And you would be right. It makes no sense until you think of Jesus who suffered an agonizing death on the cross for the sins of mankind. He had no sin of His own. And yet all the sin of mankind was placed upon Him. It did not make sense. What does make sense is that Jesus obeyed His Father no matter the suffering. Seek from God the purpose of your suffering. Offer Him your obedience as a token of thanksgiving for the privilege of suffering. Pray about it.
Hebrews 5:8 (NASB) “Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.” Ras Robinson
October 2, 2011. We have a great relationship. You have learned the value of coming to Me with the problems and praise in your life. You have seen that I have the answers to anything going on everywhere. You are quietly but seriously committed to sharing about Me and what I have done throughout the ages and how I have changed your life. I am so pleased with you, but in all of this you have become self-contained. Something you are unaware of is that others would like to have a relationship with you. I know you don’t think you need them, you have all you need but you do and they need you.
Matthew 22:35-39 (KJV) “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? He said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Bev Robinson
October 1, 2011. I see someone about to jump from the highest diving board into a pool of cold water. Most everyone sees this as a great moment of opportunity to show courage. The jumper has had plenty of opportunity in the past, but never the courage to take the huge leap. Procrastination has caused delays. But now the time has come to jump. Here you go into the cold waters. Behold, you find that you not only can do this but that you excel at it. It is fun. In doing this, you have passed the test of not only courage but leadership. Almost myriads of others are considering the leap. You have demonstrated that it can be done. Now aren’t you glad you jumped?
Joshua 3:17 (GW) “The priests who carried the ark of the LORD’S promise stood firmly on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan until the whole nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan River on dry ground.” Ras Robinson
October 1, 2011. You have a window of time. It is coming soon, very soon. You have waited for the right time and it will be immediately upon you. You will hear a word and know that this is the time. Be ready because you are entering this window of time through the door which I have opened. When you go through, it will not close behind you. My word will come to you from behind you as you move forward. But to hear it you will need to be moving. You will have enough light to move forward. It will show you the way to move ahead. This light will dispel much darkness.
Isaiah 30:21 (AMP) “And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.” Bev Robinson
