Rams’ Horns
The subject of Shofars came up in conversation today.
It was in relation to planting stakes in Wales and then sounding the Shofar. My friend asked about mine — I have two.
One is a long Antelope Horn, and the other is a traditional Ram’s Horn. It was after our conversation ended that The LORD spoke to me.
“The Ram’s Horn is the traditional, original trumpet sounded on feast days like, Rosh Hashanah, or when the worshippers led the army to battle, or during battle to give orders to the troops on the battlefield.
Remember, back then, they didn’t have communications as you have today. They had Word of mouth or pre-arranged Trumpet/ Shofar sounds.
Just as the sound of the Ram’s Horn is unique, so too is the sound of My Voice to the believer.
Just as the army learned to listen to the Ram’s Horn Trumpet, so My People today need to learn to listen to Me!
My People need to trust Me as the armies of old trusted the sound of the Ram’s Horn.
So, when you sound the Shofar, I will hear you, and I will answer your call.
Call to Me on Ram’s Horn or Antelope Horn — it makes no difference which one you use — as both are now used to call My People to Me, to celebrate the feast day, or to sound an alarm/ battle cry!
The sound of the Shofar alerts heaven’s armies too. Angels stand waiting to hear the summons to action, ready to move to help you!
Whether you’re called to your home, your street, your town, or your nation, sound the Shofar, claim the territory, and declare My Kingship.
The Shofar, the Ram’s Horn, the Trumpet of old, shall once again call My armies to action on your behalf.
Sound it in times of praise, sound it in times of danger, or sound it in times of battle. The Ram’s Horn or Shofar, shall once again be the announcement of the intents and actions of My People!” says The LORD.
Postscript
For the shofar sounds and meanings see Shofar sounds:
I just watched a guy as he blew a shofar – the Teruah, the Shevarim, and the Tekiah – something I blow often.
Teruah — Sound the Alarm — nine short blasts.
Shevarim — Call to Repentance — three medium blasts.
Tekiah — Call for The Glory to fall down — one long blast.

Every time the shofar is blown, we receive the Glory of His presence, and are activated to action. HalleluYAH!
