Radical Christianity
The LORD has been showing me for many years that He is raising up a generation who will not tolerate mundane Christianity.
They are radical, extreme and fierce in their faith. They will not settle for less than the inevitable supernatural intervention of God.
I was so blessed to be able to attend a conference last weekend and witness this powerful move of God.
I watched as the younger generation worshiped with total abandon and ministered with zeal and a powerful anointing. The Holy Spirit moved in a mighty way.
The Book of John chapter fourteen, Jesus was speaking to His disciples before His departure to the father.
He told them that He would not leave them alone, but He would send the Holy Spirit to be with them.
They couldn’t comprehend what He was saying, because they did not yet understand His resurrection.
They asked Him to show them the way to the father and Jesus replied, “I AM the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
They still didn’t understand and He continued explaining to them how He and the father are one, and said that the words that He spoke were words from the father speaking through Him.
Then He said to them: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
He added that He would do whatever they asked in His name. This promise is also for every one of us today as believers.
Jesus came to earth as God in the flesh. It was prophesied beforehand that they shall call His name Emmanuel which means “God is with us,” (Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23).
In the Book of Luke, chapter 24, after Jesus came out of the grave there were two men on the road to Emmaus.
Jesus went up to them and walked along with them. He spoke with them and asked them what they were discussing.
Even as they walked and talked with Him they didn’t recognize Him. It was near evening and they asked Him to stay with them and so He did.
When He was at the table with them, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.
Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus, and He disappeared from their sight. This is one revelation on why we should take communion daily.
They then realized that it was Jesus who was with them and they said: “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
Jesus is walking with you and some of you don’t recognize Him. He has called you to this end time harvest.
You may not be called to the five-fold ministry but every one of us is called to the greater works of healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the leaper and ministering salvation.
The LORD is searching for those who He could show Himself strong on their behalf. Now is the time is now for the body of Christ to rise up into the amazing calling that He has for us. The fields are white for harvest.
“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, [e]raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give,” Matthew 10:8.
“And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”” Luke 24:32.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it,” John 14:12-14.
