When one is born again, the old nature is taken out of him and righteousness is imputed to the believer.

It is salvation by faith in Christ Jesus, not from the works of the Law.

At this point, the believer has received righteousness without merit. No way can he go back to undo what Adam did.

But then we (as the Church) ought to understand we have another degree of righteousness after the imputed one; the “fulfilled righteousness” which concerns the believers daily walk, from here comes the blessings of obedience.

The LORD Jesus walked unblemished to fulfill are righteousness. All shall be judged on the basis whether they walked right before the LORD. This provision shuts out the rebellious sinner who chooses not to regard the blood of Christ even to trample upon his saving name.

The LORD even go further to mention those He shall condemn based on their unrepented actions; the sexually immoral, liars, backbiters, gossipers, homosexuals, worshipers of idols, fornicators and all the LORD has forbidden.

Essentially, this is the reason the Bride of Christ must be awakened and purified.
