A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.

Psalm 91: I Won’t Be Afraid….

I won’t be afraid of the terror of night
Nor the arrow that flies by the day
I won’t be afraid of the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
Nor the plague that destroys at midday
Oh no I won’t be afraid….

He has given me His Name
He has given me His Blood
He has given me Authority and Dominion
He has given me His Armor
Oh no I won’t be afraid….

For those who dwell in Him
And rest in His Shadow
He is their refuge and fortress
He covers them with His Feathers
And underneath they find refuge
For those who love Him
And call upon His Name
He will answer;
He will protect, honor and deliver
He will satisfy them with long life
And show them His Salvation

I won’t be afraid of the terror of night
Nor the arrow that flies by the day
I won’t be afraid of the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
Nor the plague that destroys at midday
Oh no I won’t be afraid….

Cause no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper
Cause no fowler’s snare shall trap me
Cause no harm will over take me
Cause no disaster will come near my tent—
A thousand may fall at my side
Ten thousand at my right hand,
But it will not come near me
I will only observe with my eyes
And see the punishment of the wicked
For greater is He who lives in me
Than he in this world!

I won’t be afraid of the terror of night

For God gave me a spirit not of fear
but of power and love and self-control.
So I won’t be afraid
For The Light shines in the darkness,
And the darkness has not overcome it
So I won’t be afraid
No I won’t be afraid…

His Love for me has conquered death:
He has given me the Victory
He has given me the Crown of Life
He has given me a glorious inheritance
He has made me His Bride
So I won’t be afraid
No I won’t be afraid…

I won’t be afraid of the terror of night

Oh I won’t be afraid;
If God is for me,
Who can stand against me?
Oh I won’t be afraid
He has brought me up, and taught me
His Words are on my tongue and in my heart
Oh I won’t be afraid

Ohhhh, ohhhh
Oh I won’t be afraid
For The Light shines in the darkness,
And the darkness has not overcome it.
I am not afraid
